1. Is it possible to use Credit Check on Sales Contract documents?
Check your contract doc in TCode OVA7, where you can activate you credit check for the sales doc.
2. Is it possible to make following fields critical
and any change of these fields should result in credit block ?
for Value contracts u2013contract value, Payment terms,
for other Sales contracts in SAP u2013 Payment terms field
It is not standard behaviour, so you need to opt for development, may be through user exit.
4.All orders created based on Value contracts to
be blocked automatically and released by credit dept only ?
Billing Block in Sales doc type for release order from valu8e Contract & according authorization for release through std TCODEs.
Thanks & Regards

  • What report can show Release & re-release value of SAP contract

    Hi Gurus
What report can show Release & re-release value of SAP contract... Can you please suggest..
    Thanks in advance
    subbu

    Hi,
We have standard report available to view the release /un-release in Purchasing document category (K-Contract-Sched.agreement,F-PO,A-RFQ) . In standard transactions ME80RN -General Evaluations, It will list out the report which is include your release document header like release group.code, strategy, status of release indicator (Y/N). For this expected output, you will need to choose the dynamic selection(shift+F4) with this you have to double click your expected requirement fields.
I hope this will fulfills your requirement.

  • Repricing the SAP contract generated from follow up doc in copy control

    Hi,
I am facing issue with the conditions copy at item categories level at the time of follow up document in copy control.
    The challenge is like this:
There is an option for the conditions copy for line item level upon which the corresponding pricing is generated.
    D -- Copy all Conditions
    C -- Copy manual conditions
The issue here is at config level they will maintain only Copy manual conditions depending upon whether it is a follow-up / Copy it should change the behavior as Copy all Conditions.
I tried to do this with crmv_event(After with reference::50) though but the problem is its triggering after the pricing got generated.
Welcome you ideas to resolve the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Madhu J

    Hello Ravikanth
With status management it's not possible to prevent the creation of follow-up documents in CRM.
You have to use the badi CRM_COPY_BADI. Here the exception DO_NOT_COPY must be raised. But it's not possible to gray out the path of the follow-up transactions e.g. for 'varian quote'.
I hope this could be helpful.
    Best regards,
    Maggie

  • Open quantity in contracts which have calloffs archived

    Hi all!!
We have contracts with their corresponding calloffs created. If the calloffs are archived, how can we obtain the open quantities in the contract in a Z-program? That is, which fields have to be checked? In VBUK table there is no "archived status" or soemthing like that. In table VBUP there is a field RFGSA which indicates if the item has been referenced totally or partially but I don't how to use it together with any other status.
    Example:
    Contract 1000 pcs.
        Call off: 500 pcs archived
        Call off: 400 pcs archived
There are still 100 pcs. opened but in our report it's displayed 1000 pcs as opened.
How can we get that 100 pcs are opened and 900 are archived?
Thanks in advance for any idea & best regards

    Hai icasado,
    In standard SAP
Contract - SO will updates once it is processed.
In case in sales order is      rejected with some reason then the quantity will flow back to contract.
For the similar requirment we had made enhancement in sales order to check
At the time of saving sales order, system check
    what is the refereed contract
for that what is list of sales order prepared
(Contract -  Sales order quanity) - Current sales order qunaity = X
    1000 - (500+400) - 1000 = -900
If X is less than 0,
    system displays ( Contract qty + -900) = 100
Only 100 Mt can be allowed.

  • SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 Sync with Active Directory on Win2k3 server

    All,
I'm having a nightmare with this and I'm hoping someone can either confirm my problem or solve it for me.
We are running R/3 Enterprise 4.7 (Web AS 6.20) and would like to sync the users with Micsoroft Active Directory 2003.
We are exploring the option of using full Active Directory schema expansion for the SAP sync.  i.e. so we have all SAP related fields in AD.
According to the SAP notes, I need the WEB AS 6.10 installation CD so that I can run R3SETUP to perform the Active Directory schema modifications.
I have tried to download this from the SWDC with no luck.
So I guess my questions are:
1, Do I really need the 6.10 install cd (it seems it's only the ADSINIT.R3S file).
2, If I do, where can I get it from?, do I need to order it through our SAP contract manager?
In the meantime, I have tried performing the manual schema extension using the RSLDAPSCHEMAEXT report, uploading this to the AD server and running "ldifde" command.
This has extended the schema (or so it says), but I can't see any SAP icon in the AD tree.  Have I missed something?
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Darryl

    Rainer,
    Thanks for that.
I have been re-reading note 793191 and question 14 says exactly that.
    I will checkout JXplorer.
I have found a couple of MS technet articles on how to add your own context menus to the snap-in but it seems like a lot of effort for no real gain.
    Thanks again.

  • Do I need to be accredited to use the SAP SDK?

    Hello,
I am software developer working for a small company that uses SAP BO 2005A in the finance and sales department.
I recently discovered the SAP SDK installed on our machines (server and PC's), and after some research and looking at people's sample code here, I have successfully written a small Visual Basic application that could create Sales Orders automatically, saving the company time not having to do the manual entry.
Would anyone know if I would be breaking any SAP contract or agreement if I was to run my little application ?
Do I need to be accredited to use the SDK?
    Much appreciated.

    Hi Lisa,
The SAP service provider looking after us, is very drakonian, My management senses that the contract we have with them could ban us (the Client or anyone else) from interfacing SAP in ways that are not via the SAP Front End.
We recently approached them for a quote to build us a simple Stock checking web service function plus an Order loading application and we were hit with a 20,000 australian dollar quotation, which is close to 15,000 us dollars:- quite excessive in my opinion, given I have just built the application in a few hours using the SDK, I realise we are getting over quoted!
Wanting to be helpful, and being a dotnet developer, after having done plenty of research here at the SAP Developer Network, I have learned how to use the SDK and now I realise how simple it is to interface SAP using the Business Objects DLL.
However, if I run my application using the SDK I fear that our SAP provider could sue us for breach of contract. They might say they hold the exclusive rights to SAP on our Inrastructure to using the SDK DLL's directly.
I want to play by the rules, and I would like to ask them directly where I stand using the SDK, but this might antagonise them and God knows what else! After all, they wuold like to be selling us their solution, if you know what I mean.
It would be nice if I could contact SAP directly and get the truth on the matter.
    I appreciate your feedback immensely.

  • Standard report for invoices against a quantity contract

    dear experts,
is there any standard report for how much invoices(billing) should be made against a quantity contract.
my requirement is suppose if  i enter a quantity contract number then it will display all the invoices against that contract with
invoice values.if any please let me know so that we make make our process much better.
    regards,
    amar.

    Dear Amar,
In SAP, this contract to Invoice their is not standard report.
    Report
If you enter a quantity contract number, to get a list of invoices with qty and invoice amt
    Prepare a SQVI REPORT
    USING TABLES
    VBRK for Invoice qty amt
    VBRP for Invoice number, dates...
VBFA to get the intial document number
VBAK - to get the contract number
VBAP - to get the material.
Its worth spending little time to create the report.
Ensure standard SAP contract to Invoice is like compartments

Is your problem related to contract and support (in terms of "SAP contract and support"), or are you rather talking about relations between different data objects / tables inside your application? If the latter, being a little more verbose (and, especially, posting table definitions) surely would help.

  • Contracts & Schedule Agreements and effects on MRP

Currently our sales people are using SAP Contracts.  The contract shows up in my MRP daily but it shows a qty due to the customer as of the date the sales person entered the contract with complete qty due now or past due.  I am trying to get them to use Schedule Agreements as I don't think these would have the same effect on my MRP when they put in the required date and qty that material needs to actually be delivered.
Do you agree that a schedule agreement would be better?
Please advise.  These contracts are terrible when no dates are put in them.
    Thanks

Shipment date is the date that the material which will be leaving from the plant from the shipping point.
In SAP, GI date is the date, when the goods leaving from the Plant premises.
Delivery date is the date that the material will be reaching at the customer hand
Delivery date, specifies the date , when goods will be expecting at customer site ( this date will be determined from GI date + Transit duration in Route master).
    1. Do the user has to calculate manually the dates and enter in the scheduline coloumn or
No need to calculate the dates manually. This Calcuation will be done based on your customization in Route Master ( Transit Duration). but delivery dates has to be entered manually in Schedule lines tab in Scheduling agreements.
*2. If the person is entering the dleivery date (wht ever given by the customer ) in the schedulines. how will the system will calculate automatcially six week before the delviery date to RUN the MRP
Based on Delivery date/ GI date/ Pick pack & load time = Material available date will be determined. This Material available date  then transferred to prodcution.

  • Wrong Pricing Procedure getting picked up in Value Contract

While creating Value Contract, when we maintain conditions, the condition type which we want to maintain are missing.
During a year, PO is made a for a value of around 15 crores. So we need to make  contract which will pick up the same pricing procedure which is picked up for all those PO's. The pricing procedure was specially created for these PO's.
Now while we create contract it should pick up that same pricing procedure which it picks up in the PO.
The vendor, material & Purchase Org is same in our contract as it is there in the PO.
So I feel when we create a contract it should pick the same pricing procedure as it does for PO's, but our contract picks some other pricing procedure.
what is the configuration to be done specially for Value contract.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi,
The pricing procedure is determined differenetly for contract & PO .
For PO, pricing procedure is determined by the Vendor Schema Group and Purchase Org Schema Group.
But in case of Contract the pricing procedure is based on condition supplements of condition type PB00.
Condition type PB00 is considered as master condition type in case of Pricing procedure of contract.
In std SAP contract system picks up RM0001or  RM1001 because these pricing procedures are maintained in the Condition Supplements of PB00.
If you want to have pricing procedure other than RM0001 or RM1001 then you need to maintain that pricing procedure in the Condition Supplement of condition type PB00.

  • Item master synchronisation from third party system to SAP

    Hello ,
I would like to understand how we can desgin flow of data in case of changes in Catalog from third party system to SAP.
We have implemented Catalog functionality.  Catalog maintained in third party system is accessed from SAP for procurement through catalog button.
Now we want to update SAP contracts when ever there is change in prices in third party system. In this we are also validating currency,UOM, delivery time etc.
How does we can make this synchronisation? What are the possible solution for this?
You valuable inputs will be highly appreciable.
    Regards,
    Prashant

    Hi Neetu
you have to mainatin Item text and not for material PO text...
    Do these settings:
SPRO->MM->Purchasing->PO->Texts for POs--->Define copying rule for item texts..
then check you should have a entry for "Item Text" if not then
Put a Consec no. and against it enter item text. then for this you have to maintain text linkage where u should have source object as Purchase requisition.
please confirm if these settings are already there?

  • Creating sales order from contract ISA R/3 Edition

    Hi Forum,
    Our scenario are
1 - customer select product from catalog and place order from internet
2 - sometimes, customer already have a contract with us (created earlier manually on SAP) and want to create sales order from internet referencing a SAP-contract.
For scenario No.1 - we can use standard SAP
For scenario No.2 - is there any standard way to do so? or we have to do customization?
    Any suggestion are welcome.
    Thanks a million.!!

    Hello
"Contract Processing" is not supported out-of-the-box in ISA R/3 edition.
However, you have a good news. The OSS Note [788245 |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/788245]- "ISA R/3 4.0: contract processing", explains how to implement this feature on a project basis.
We have implemented this feature successfully at few customers.
    Hope this helps.

  • Use of SAP license mechanism is no longer mandatory

Partner-developed add-ons are no longer required to use the SAP license mechanism.  Although the SAP license mechanism is still available to those partners who would like to use it, the use of the mechanism is no longer required.  Partners who wish to use their own license mechanism instead of SAPu2019s are welcome to do so.  Partners developing any add-on solution are strongly encouraged to apply for a namespace from SAP, which helps prevent conflicts between partner products.
