Hi ,
I am having an issue in SRM 7.02 in Extended Classic Scenario, Where Users are able to delete Shopping Carts even after Follow on Document created i.e. till Confirmation. Now they want to delete the SRM PO. As there is no Shopping Cart existing in SRM they are unable to delete the PO.
Can you please suggest me the SAP Note relevant to this Requirement.

  • Incorrect Buy on Behalf name displayed for Deleted Shopping Cart

    Hi All,
The issue is with the deleted Shopping Carts.
In case of non deleted Shopping carts the Buy on behalf field displays correct value.
I debugged and found that there is a bug in standard code itself.
In class /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~REFRESH, the code is written for non deleted and deleted SC to read the buy on behalf value.
In case of non-deleted the of condition reads the item values and  item guid is exported to patner table that returns the buy on behalf value.
But in case of deleted SC the
the else condition is executed where the requestor id is used to get the patner table which inturn gives us the buy on behalf value.
The difference is with the requestor id (MV_REQUESTOR_ID) in both cases.
In case of non deleted SC the requestor ID is different and in case of deleted Sc the requestor id is the vlaue of one who currently is viewing the SC.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rahul

  • SAP function to delete shopping cart (set header status I1040)?

Does anyone know of a SAP function which can delete a shopping cart (set header status I1040)?
We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.
    Thanks,
    Brad

I don't know about the OP's reasons, but I've been looking for a similar solution as well. In my case our users sometimes create shopping carts under e.g. the wrong budget code, and the approvers don't always catch this, resulting in an approved SC that we can't change or delete but equally can't use.
I'll check out those fcns, thanks for that. From your question it sounds like there's some reason why this shouldn't be done though? Would this be seen as a bad practice? How would you recommend dealing with the above situation?
    Thanks, John.

  • Vendor from Contract not defaulting in Shopping Cart in SRM 5.2 Classic Scenrario

We have the Classic Scenarios implemented for Indirect Procurement. There is only a one contract maintained for the Material group + Vendor combination on the ECC system. When creating a Shopping Cart the Vendor shows up under the "Source of Supply" section. Shouldn't this default into the Vendor field as there is only one contract maintained? Is there any configuration that can prevent the vendor from defaulting? Please advice.

    Hello,
The MM PO price value is calurated as in INR only but it is still taking the conversion as it was earlier
as the vendor currency is in GBR.NOw as it has changed to INR no conversion has to take place but
    it is still happening.
If I need to debug, which programs I need to, because these are ITS templates where
PO creation will happen at backend may be i think through RFC calls.
    Thank you for your inputs.

  • Deletion Shoping cart by Requester for soco shopping carts.

    hello All
    Hi all
please share your thoughts and SAP standard and best practices followed to delete the shopping cart
    Classic:-
    scenario 1:- no problem
SC created with fixed source of supply and PO created and no confirmation done.
REQUESTER could delete shopping cart at item level since REQUESTER does not require the material.
now item status turned immediately DELETED. no issues. PO set to DELETED in ECC
scenario 2:- problemSC created and without source of supply and BUYER assigned a vendor and PO created and no confirmation done.
REQUESTER could delete shopping cart at item level since REQUESTER does not require the material.
now item status turned immediately ITEM IN DELETION PROCESS rather than  DELETED. Here it is a issue.
i expect the system should show deletion  immediately at shopping cart at item level. PO set to be deleted  (PO also not set to deleted).
if BUYER manually deletes the PO in ECC,Shopping cart again venture to cockpit and again BUYER action is required to complete this request.
what is the best solution for scenario 2 and why the shopping cart status not set to DELETED (ITEM IN DELETION PROCESS I1114 ) when requester  DELETES the cart.is it a system bug. every customer expects the system should show right status .
    Muthu

    Hi Muthu,
I think if a follow-on document created for a SC the best practice is to edit the leading document rather than changing the SC..
Itu2019s better to change the PO in SRM..
    Thanks!!

  • Trying to delete shopping cart via GUI (not web) tran BBP_MON_SC

In the GUI I'm entering "/n" to get out of the Easy Access menu and then running tran BBP_MON_SC.  I'm then entering a specific shopping cart number and clicking the Start button.  On the results screen if I just click the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, nothing happens.  I was told to try entering the number left to the shopping cart number ("1") in the field left of the "Delete Shopping Cart" button and then try clicking the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, but still nothing happens.  I know the GUI screen layout is a little weird so I'm obviously doing something wrong.  Please note I'm able to successfully delete this same shopping cart in the web tran Monitor Shopping Cart.  Any help is appreciated.
We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.
    Thanks,
    Brad

    Hi
    <b>Please try this -></b>
<b><u>In the Transaction <u>BBP_MON_SC</u> in GUI login/mode, clcik on field - Created By (User ID) in the General Data section, say TESTUSER and click on "START BUTTON" on top of page.
A new screen will appear displaying all the shopping carts that user has created. Based on the line number in the left-side of the screen, enter that line number in the top left corner of screen in Frame1 and press on "Delete Shopping Cart" button to delete that particular shopping cart...</u></b>
<u>I can easily delete the SC from GUI by this way.. Hope this definitely answer your query and help you as well..</u>
    Do let me know.

  • Cost center not committed on shopping cart,  for account assign cat "Asset"

    Hello,
We are implementing extended classic scenario in SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0 backend.
While creating a shopping cart in SRM, in the cost assignment tab when we select an account assignment category as “Asset", and then try to enter a value in the cost center in the basic details of cost assignment, it is not getting committed to shopping cart screen. The cost center field value is lost when we move to the next screen for ordering the shopping cart. For the asset related purchases, we are using main account assignment category as "asset" and it also requires cost center, because while the asset master record is being created in R/3 for these items,it requires the cost center. We also using internal order. So for the account assignment category "Asset", the other account assignment fields that can be entered are cost center, internal order and one custom field called "project code".
We have created this user-defined field in the cost assignment tab in the shopping cart, purchase order and confirmation documents in SRM in accordance with the OSS note 672960. We have implemented BBP_CUF_BADI_2 & BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI, BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for the shopping cart object.
Can someone please help me with this issue?
    Thanks,
    Krupa

thanks Ramakrishna and Yann for your prompt reply..
    Ramakrisha,
I know that for assets, SC requires asset number and G/L is automatically derived from the corresponding asset class from the backend. In our case, we are putting dummy asset number in shopping cart and this asset number exists in R/3. But we are not generating asset creation during shopping cart creation but we are doing it during the PO creation in doc change badi. During this asset generation you also need cost center on the asset record. So we have added cost center field for Asset account assignment category and I can see it in the details of account assignment. But when I enter this cost center on shopping cart, it doesnot get committed, it disappears when I order the shopping cart.
Does anybody have any clue why this might be happening?
    Thanks,
    Krupa

  • Purchase Order not created for a Shopping Cart

We have a few Shopping Carts created in SRM which did not transmit as PO to our backend R/3 system. This happened because our R/3 system went down for a couple of hours and the Shopping Carts were created during this time. We tried to submit these Shopping Carts through the Application monitor later and the SRM system gave a message "Processed Successfully". However, POs for these Shopping Carts were not created and the Shopping Carts have a status of "Item in transfer process".
The Shopping Carts have already got a PO number assigned to them through the SRM system. However these PO's have not been created in the backend R/3 system
We are struggling to find the failed RFC calls with the help of BASIS so that we can possibly reprocess them. Alternatively we are also looking for a way to retrigger the PO creation for these Shopping Carts.
I need ideas to resolve this issue.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Susmit

Not sure if you received an answer or not, but this is what we have had to do in the past:
    1.  Run BBP_PD for the shopping cart to see what the purchase requisition number will be on the backend system.  The requisition number will still be provided even if it fails to transfer to the backend.
    2.  Run FM BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT.  The object key field will be the requisition number; the object ID field will be the shopping cart number.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Venkatesh,

  • Approval Preview not displayed in Shopping cart

    Hi,
On creating shopping carts through Plan Driven procurement, we are changing the cart status from the default "Ordered/Approved" to "Awaiting approval". The approvers are displayed in BBP_PD for this Shopping Cart, however the same is not visible in SRM portal.
We have also refreshed all the templates, but the Approval tab and Overview link, is not displayed in shopping cart.
We are on SRM 5.0, 5.5 server, Extended Classic scenario with SP 17 and have implemented N-step approval work flow BADI to determine approvers based on the cost center entered in shopping cart.
Kindly provide inputs to have approvers displayed in SRM portal.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
SAP does not provide the standard solution for triggering the WF from external system ( ECC )... any document create outside the SRM, system will automatically put the status to approved... even 0-Level wont trigger... you can activate the nstep workflow by following step by step help...
