SAP Production system - SDK Dev New licence key components

I like to request a new license key for SAP B1 production system.  What should be the components along with SDK Development that i should select in the license key request information?
Is it mandatory to have at least one professional user license in the Development system?

Hi David,  thanks for the reply
I heard that instead of using atleast one professional user license for development system we can also use a limited user license to access the internal objects in SAP Business One system.  But I am not sure whether this will work and also the concept of limited user license is specific to each individual modules within the Business one system.i.e. limtied CRM user license, limited Finance user license.  if we use these licenses obviously we have limited access to the objects in the Business One system.  am i right?  ,  please let me know that these limited user licenses will come along with the package of licensing or do we need to purchase them separately?

  • SAP Production Systems Database backup failed

    Dear Guru,
    I have been facing a problem with our SAP Production system's oracle database backup for last three days. Our back up goes through TSM server. At night 10 pm we have schedule backup for whole offline + redo log backup,  11 pm check and update optimizer statistic and at 11:30 pm Check Database. For last three days above mentioned backup getting failed and we are not able to get such a details log by which i can understand the issue. But Our Development server and Quality server's backup which are scheduled at 12 am and 2 am, the both backup schedules finish successfully. And in morning all schedule backups of Production systems finish without any errors. The issues is coming only with Whole database backup + redo log Backup which schedule at night 10 pm. I have mentioned the log whatever i have got in below:
    07.02.2012     07:30:06     Job started
    07.02.2012     07:30:06     Job has exceeded its latest start date
    07.02.2012     07:30:06     Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
    Above mentioned logs are showing 1day advance log where i have mentioned yesterdays log. That means it should shows 06.02.2012 instead of 07.02.2012 and time should be 22:00:00 instead of 07:20:06.
    Our Oracle version is 10.2.0.4.0/ kernel release 701/BRBACKUP 7.00 (40)
    Please Guide me.

    OK,
    this has nothing to do with brbackup or TSM.
    You batchjob starts at 07:30 !!!
    Means before that, you do not have any action at all.
    Then the job crosschecks it has passed its intended startdate and terminates,
    which is correct, since you do not like brbackup to shut down your DB at 07:30!
    No brbackup is started at all, which is why you get no log and no tsm connect takes place.
    I assume,  you misconfigured some operationmodes and at 07:30 an OP-modeconfiguration
    with batchjobs switches back in place so that the jobs do start too late.
    Check RZ04 and the OP mode timetable
    If it is not this, it has to be something else with the batch scheduler causing delay
    or may be all BTC processes are busy, but this seems unlikely with a start at 07:30 sharp..

    emgr_update no longer sets or gets the thesaurus from workbench. In 11 all workbench configurations are saved in IFCR configuration directly.
    Hence the thesaurus entry should be added directly in version 11 Workbench as opposed to xml file in older versions.
    And if you want to migrate the changes across environments then import_site script in control directory can be used.

    According to our records, you currently have 5 SAP Business Suite systems. 2 of these are production systems
    pl, help me to identify what are the SAP Business Suite systems they are talking about.
    Is it DEV,QAS,TRN,CMS and PRD ?
    what are the 2 production systems? Since we have only 1 PRD
    (Is CMS also treated as a production system )

  • Why don't I receive the new licence key?

    Hi,
    I'm using the Sneak Preview 2004s but the licence expires in a few days. I followed the instructions as described at www.sap.com/solutions/netweaver/minisap.epx. But I have been waiting for a response for 3 days (I asked for a new licence 2 times mentionning 2 differents e-mail addresses).
    Is that normal?

    They are having issues with sending out the mail to outside email addresses.  Internal SAP email addresses seems to work.  Not sure if they are still working on it or not.

    How can I import the Program from Production System to QAS and DEV.

    hi Vijaya laxmi,
    you can goto Production system ---> SE38/ SA38 and copy the program and create the same in program using SE38 in Development system  and then transport it to Quality system.
    You can also Re-Import the Request from Production to Dev system.

    Can you anyone tell me why do we have two blocks with same name (SAP Product) at same place in SPRO.
    Path SPRO - Cross-application components - SAP Product and same name is appearing below SAP Product. When I check other contents of it they are also same.
    Why do we have this same setting twice in SRM SPRO ?

    Check if the correct SAP Reference IMG is being displayed.

  • Error in Importing standard SAP DCs to Production system

    Hi All
    I am trying to do a transport from QA to Production system. 3 of the standard components
    sap.com_GP-CORE
    sap.com_CAF-MF
    sap.com_CAF
    are not getting imported  to Prod. It gives an error
    caused by Exception:com.sap.cms.tcs.beans.exception.TCSDeployException_Communication: The user 'cedeploy' could not be connected to the specified host 'bhbc1ce01.ent.bhicorp.com'and port '50004'.:The user 'cedeploy' could not be connected to the specified host 'bhbc1ce01.ent.bhicorp.com'and port '50004'.
    com.sap.cms.tcs.beans.exception.TCSDeployException_Communication: The user 'cedeploy' could not be connected to the specified host 'bhbc1ce01.ent.bhicorp.com'and port '50004'.
    The user is not locked. I managed to import the rest of the components to Prod with the same user ID.
    Only thing i am able to notice is that, the Owner for these 3 components are "jointadm"  and the rest of the other components had owner as "Make".
    Please give me your suggestion.

  • Upgrade to SAP2007A - Licence Key

    In our company it is mandatoty to first de-install SAP B1 2005 before we upgrade to SAP B1 2007A, ..i.e. after we have de-installed SAP2005 we have to install SAP2007.
    My question: Is it necessary to download a new licence key from SAP? Or is it allowed/possible to load the old licence file of SAP2005 into the licence server of my SAP2007 installation?
    I am afraid I did it the wrong way the first time I upgraded a customer system ==>
    I realized that the hardware key had not changed after installing SAP2007.
    On the licence request page of SAP I changed the system settings of the customer to SAP2007A (also the SP and PL) and downloaded the new licence key.
    The system number and the installation number did not change.
    SAP informed me that the user licences were exceeded and some modules were limited to use only for a short time!
    Is it possible to solve this problem when we load the old SAP2005 licence file into the licence server of the SAP2007 installation?

    Hi Frank
    The only time you need to request new license key is:
    + If your hardware key has changed
    + If the number of users has changed
    + If the license expiration date has changed
    + If components (add-ons) have changed
    + If you upgraded your system from release 6.x to release 2004
    The version of the software (2007A or 2005A) is not an element in
    the license key.
    In this case,please delete the extra system by following the Note. 614911.

    But when I click the button Install New License, it is asking the file path insted of getting the screen.
    My Old license is about to expire. Please help me in this situation.

  • Allowing Multiple Login of users in Production system

    Hello,
    In my office there are total 4 employes which all use SAP but they all use one username and password so it isn't possible for them to work at same time. Only one employe can work, then after he completes his task he must log-off, and then other employe logs-in and so on... So Multiple Logon option is disabled. I would like to enable Multiple Logon option but as I read it somewhere Mult.logons in productions system of users musbe set to off?
    I am not sure what do do because I need to have option for employes to lgoin at the same time with one username/password.
    If this is not possible is there any other way to achieve this? Also is there any way that one employe can enter/view data and other three employes can login at same time only to view data?

  • Workflow agent assignment in Production system

    Hello Sap Gurus,
      Is there a way to maintain harcoded agents(not a general task..but putting in a user's name) on the tasks in the SAP production system without going to Change mode.
    I know we can do it for the Workflow templates in Dispaly mode but for the tasks, it wouldn't let us do without being in Change mode.
    Any suggestions is appreciated

    Hi Rachana,
    The agent assignment of a task is a PD infotype and therefore the question is do you have the authorisation do maintain in production?
    From what you have described, the short answer appears to be no.  But a longer answer is that, with sufficient access, you can open a workitem in change mode and forward to a new agent after using the Replace Manually option.
    Another option would be to go in throught the diagnosis tolls (SWUD) and use the option test environment.  You will see the steps of your workflow at the bottom of the page.  If there is a red football shaped object - this is agent assignment - you can click to maintain the assignments.
    A better question is why maintain by user ID here as it is a pain to maintain.

  • Licence Key error re-installing Crystal Reports Xi

    CR Xi was installed and working on an employeeu2019s laptop.  This laptop crashed an I am now installing Crystal Reports on another employees laptop.
    However, the licence key wonu2019t register for him and he has to input it everytime he opens Crystal reports.
    Is there anyway to free-up the licence so the new employee can register it?
    Or alternatively have a new licence key issued?

    Below number, for worldwide Global Support Customer Interaction. Note the phone numbers marked in the note that are available worldwide (24 hours 7 days a week).
    Use your Customer Interaction Center to submit support requests and service requests for problem messages and remote service postings.
    Use the Customer Message Wizard to enter problem messages on SAP Service Marketplace. If you do not have online access, the relevant Support Center can create a message on your behalf, ask then to create a new incident for license issue.
    A service message is create using the same process that is used for creating regular technical support messages with the only difference being in the component that is selected. These components begin with XX- (e.g. XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ) instead of BOJ-.

    XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ: Business Objects License Keys / Keycodes
    XX-SER-SAPSMP-SWC-BO: Missing/Corrupt software or patches
    XX-SER-GEN-CONTR : Missing/Invalid Installation, Contract issues
    Customer Interaction Center, call the following number:
    +49-6227-744969 (available worldwide)
    For a new key:
    Request key codes for new orders via SAP Marketplace (SMP), will  receive a download letter on new purchases providing them with their SMP login credentials.  Using these credentials you can login and click in the "Keys & Requests" tab > Request a License key.
    If your  Key code does not work
    You need   create a customer message [https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/message] using component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ.

    For SU01 role removal, you do not need S_USER_AGR with 02, and as you mentioned both authorizations available in production, if so trace should not show you the S_USER_AGR with 02 with RC=04.
    I would recommend to do role comparison for the user performing the activity. and then check if you have the S_USER_AGR with 02 in user buffer SU56.
    But ideally it should not ask you S_USER_AGR for 02 through SU01, so please take help of abaper to debug it.
    Also put trace in non-prd to see if S_USER_AGR is getting checked with 02 for removal through SU01.
