SAP Script link to TIFF

Hi All
I need to find out where the link lies between SAP Script Form HR_ES_I190_0031 and the background TIFF image? I need the TIFF image name. Currently we have the form nicely printed in DEV, but in QA it has incorrect background image?
If I understand correct, program RSTXLDMC can be used to upload a TIFF image, but I don't find the link between this and the SAP Script Form. Now I have to reverse the process, so I need the link and then I need to retransport the TIFF and link to fix the "wrong background image" for my form.

Usually, I think this would be in a macro. These are stored in standard texts (SO10), named like: ZHEX-MACRO-xxxxx ID ST LANGUAGE EN, etc. We can transport standard texts via a standard SAP program, but I don't know if these can be transported (one would expect that they can be).

I have created a SAP script, but I am having hard time linking it with the Interaction Center Winclient. What I mean is that, when the call is received, how the agent will read the script.

You will have to congure in the SAPscript name and the driver program against the desired output type
In the transaction NACE - > select the application type - > out put type button on top - > Select the output type from the list and then click on the Processing routines from the tree on right . Now maintain the Program name, SAPscript name , etc here.

Maybe, I think that the purpose of style is to use it with SO10.
Therefore, it doesn't use it in SAP script.
SAP script copies with SE71 and changes.

Link between pe51 and SAP script

I have a requirement for check printing along with remuneration statement.
I have copied the standard sap script f110_prenum_chck into z110_prenum_chck
I am using the standard driver program RFFOUS_C.
My requirement is: Remuneration statement from PE51 should be printed in the top portion of the page and check should be printed in the middle portion. For Remuneration part, I have kept Main Window in position in the script with the element 525-HR as the only active element.
For check portion, everything is working fine as i have customized it accordingly. For remuneration statement Funct. ppl have copied some standard version in PE51 to Z say ZXXX.
but remuneration statement is not getting printed.
How do i trigger ZXXX into z110_prenum_chck without changing the standard program??

1. First save the file as BMP
2. Open the BMP file in IMaging (Goto -> Programs -> Accessories -> Imaging) and
make it Zoom as 100% and save as *.TIFF
3. Open SE38 and execute program RSTXLDMC
4. Give your TIFF file path name
5. Select Bcol (for Color)
6. TEXT ID will be ZHEX-MACRO-*.
7. Inplace of * write your own logo name (ZCOMPANYLOGO)
8. Execute the program
9. Now Goto SE71 create your ZFORM
10. Create logo window
11. Goto text element of logo window

1. Goto SE71 Change the mode to GRAPHICAL
2. Choose the Graph Tabstrips
3. Now type in some name for the LOGO WINDOW
4. Press the IMPORT BUTTON and then IMPORT the BMP file from your DESKTOP

If you want to upload a logo , then u can use program RSTXLDMC if it is in .TIFF format or if you want to upload a grphic which is in .bmp then u can use SE78 or directly u can use SO10 also.

Reading Text in SAPScripts
If you only need to output the text, you don't need to used READ_TEXT like in an ABAP program,
just use the INCLUDE command in SAPScript.

I want to insert my company logo in SAP SCRIPT.
Am newbie to SAPSCript .
I am facing prob's in the foll areas.
1)While running the pgm 'RSTXLDMC' and give the path of my TIF File ,the foll error is thrown...
"Load File

The file contains 22,380 bytes
This is not a TIFF file byte order <> 11 /MM
Only TIFF files can be uploaded for type BCOL"
I tried to chage the extension of my logo from tif to tiff,but that ext type is not supported in my system.
Wht is the problem
2) If uploaded successfully,Where this files will get stored .I mean in which table ?
3) Can we insert this in my std text i.e) SO10 trans

Question on form printing in SAP scripts

Hi,
I would like to know whether it is possible to print color logos in forms using sap scripts or not ?
If possible, please provide the steps for uploading a color logo into the form using a sap script.
Is the color of the logo displayed only in the printout or can it seen in the print preview as well after uploading the logo?

Hi,
First you have to import the logo into SAP through TCode SE78 (if it is a BMP file) and using program RSTXLDMC (if it is of TIFF file).
Go to SE78 -> Double click Graphics -> double click BMAP -> then go to Menu Graphic then select Import. Then give the name and description. Then choose whether it should be in colour or black and white. This completes the process of importing the logo into SAPscript.
Then you can use the name of this object in SCRIPTS .IN Sap script, YOu can include text object(if you have uploaded the image using rstxldmc) or include graphic if you have used se78 in text elements section of the Page windows.

we can do this in SAP Scripts.
we need to create two pages, one of landscape and another of potrait.
now after filling the data at last we need to call the page which is of format landscape using START_FORM function module.
You can use condition &PAGE& = &FORMPAGES&.

Difference with SMARTFORMS vs. SapScript(SE71)
The Following are the differences :-
a) Multiple page formats are possible in smartforms which is not the case in SAPScripts
b) It is possible to have a smartform without a main window .
c) Labels cannot be created in smartforms.
d) Routines can be written in smartforms tool.
e) Smartforms generates a function module when activated.
f) Unlike sapscripts (RSTXSCRP), you cannot upload/download Smartform to your local harddisk.
It was said that it was provided in CRM 3.0 version, but not available in R/3. You can download smartforms into Local PC in a XML format. In the same way you can upload this XML format into Smartform. From the smartform editor itself you can call download option, if you are working in CRM 3.0 environment.
In R3 also, you can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
For others, if you want to download/upload the Smartforms source, you will need the help from the Basis people. What you can do is to create a Transport and then FTP down to your local harddisk. When you need the Smartform source in another system, you have FTP up the Smartforms file back to the SAP server. Finally, the Basis team, will tp it into your system.
g) The protect and endprotect command in sapscript doesn't work with smartforms. For example on a invoice: First data of position no 80. is printed on page one, other data of position no 80 is printed on page 2. And there's nothing you can do about it. Actually, there is something you can do about it. By using a folder node and checking the 'protect' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.

SAP Scripting Languages on the SDN Day - Amsterdam

I would like to give a short summary of what happened on the SDN Day in Amsterdam, the 17-th Oct. 2006.
After the breakfast Craig Cmehil gave us a welcome to the event and presented the schedule. We started with a power networking session: Four 20-minute Sessions with Six SDNers per Table. As I was sitting at the Scripting Languages table, I would like to share some impressions of the atmosphere there. We talked much about the emmerging SAP Scripting Tool and how much value it will bring to all scripting projects that plan to utilize SAP backend systems. We discussed Gregor Wolf's contest and he was so kind to inform us that his test system is also available inside the SAP corporate network, so all SAP employees now can participate too. Gregor works for Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH and the award they offer for the contest is a Siteco Vistosa task light. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] Another key discussion was held with Björn Schotte, the chief editor of PHP Magazine, Germany, presenting also his company Mayflower Gmbh. He shared some visions on business applications of PHP and stated that PHP is definitely enterprise ready.
Then after a very short pause we started the SDN breakout sessions (3-5 in parallel). I visited the sessions of Gregor Wolf, André Labahn, Björn Schotte and after this I cooperated for the breakout session of Frank Mittag.
Session 1:
Connecting Typo3 to R/3 Enterprise via Web Services with Gregor Wolf from Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH
Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH currently implements a customer service centre into it's Typo3 based website. Typo3 is an Open Source Web Content Management system based on the Scripting Language PHP. The application will allow Siteco's customers to directly check price & availability of products from the backend R/3 Enterprise system, quotations, orders and delivery status. The backend connectivity uses Web Services utilise the PEAR SOAP Package.
Session 2:
SAP supports Scripting Languages with Andre Labahn from SAP.
This session will provide you with more insights on how SAP is supporting scripting languages.
Session 3:
Scripting Languages PHP and Enterprise Software with Björn Schotte (Chief Editor from PHP Magazine).
This session showed us a brief history of PHP and PHP in Germany. Some enterprise applications of PHP were discussed. Björn Schotte was the opinion that PHP is definitely enterprise ready and he proved it with an example of a system that his company has created for Siemens.
Session 4:
Scripting Languages Tool with Frank Mittag and Vasil Bachvarov (me) from SAP
SAP will provide a open source tool to the scripting development community that is supporting the access to SAP Backend Systems via RFC/BAPIs and Webservices. See the concept and demo of the tool and discuss this with SAP Development.
There was a pretty interesting discussion about the tool. Since the time for the last session shrinked with some minutes we had to be very quick, but Frank Mittag did a great job and succeeded to explain the basic concept of the SAP Scripting Tool and show it in action for the tough time constraint.
There were a lot of questions from the audience but it was already 18:30 and we stopped at this point. There would be a second chance for questions on thursday when Frank had the opportunity to make a more complete and comprehensive walk-through of the project.
Then we gathered in the meeting hall and Shai Agassi held a speech and made a summary of the event.
The evening finished in the BoomChicago theater where everybody received a delicious meal, drinks and a great amount of fun with the ChicagoBoom comic crew.

I'm be there in Amsterdam as well. In fact I am leaving the US on Sunday and arriving early Monday morning in Amsterdam.
I was planning to do a little site seeing on Monday Afternoon. If anyone else is arriving a bit early as well, they are welcome to join me. It is always more fun to site see in groups.
