Sapscript: display in main window table ... repeat table haeder on new page

Hi all,
I have a form with one Window -> Main Window, in this Window it will be written many different information... there is also a table, when the table cause a new-page, the header (discription of the table) should be written (repeated) also on the new page.
Im trying to find out, how i can get the page number in the print-programm... but I dont found any variable (print_co-actpage doesnt work)

I'm sure you've got around your requirement by now, but for future reference you can get the page number into your print program by calling the function module 'GET_TEXTSYMBOL'.
data: lv_page(255) type c.
lv_page = '&PAGE&'.
call function 'GET_TEXTSYMBOL'
     exporting line             = lv_page
                    start_offset = 0
     importing value            = lv_page.

In SapScript is very easy, I just make two "page windows" of the main window and position it.
Do I need to do this control manually?

Hi,
I think this is not possible as we have to use MAIN window if our data is going to over flow into other pages.
Even if we use templates and loop nodes in secondary windows, then this will do fine for one page. But the data is not going to over flow into the next page if we have more data.

Smartforms-To change table display(in main window) dynamically

Hi,
In Smartforms - Main Window - Table
I have to change the Record display dynamically,
like Ex - I have sale order display at item level, First SO has three item, Second SO has ten item.
So, at run time - I want First SO on First page & Second SO on Second page.
(Similar like - PROTECT - ENDPROTECT in script)
How can I do this in Smart forms?

Hi Ashlesha,
              The protect and endprotect command in sapscript doesn't work with smartforms.
              The usage of protect and endprotect can be brought about in Smarrtforms is by using a folder node and checking the 'PROTECT' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.
               This is actually called 'Page Protection'.

Samrtform: table line should be displayed whole main window.

Hi All,
I have a requirement, the table lines in smartform should be displayed in whole window.
The above should be like,
Note: the table control height gets dynamically changed, in my case there is only one item in table so the table control lines are not filled the main window.

Hello Alexander,
You need to create a TEMPLATE with extact width and height of your main window. This Template should contains the line type with the borders.
Remove the borders from the table line in the main window.

try this:
Goto the text elements of main window spcify the following command.
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
WIDTH
Width of the box. Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
HEIGHT
Height of the box. Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
FRAME
Thickness of frame. Default: 0 (no frame).
INTENSITY
Grayscale of box contents as %.
Default: 100 (full black)
EXAMPLE:
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT 1 CM FRAME 10 TW INTENSITY 15

My tables always start on a new page – why?

When I use a table Pages always creates a new page an starts there with the table. I want the table in the text. I don’t find a reason. It hasen’t always been like this.

As far as I know, it's not the normal behavior.
Look at these two screenshots of the same document.
I gave a green background to the 3rd paragraph so that it would be easy to see its location after the insertion of a large table.
As you may see, the table pushed the text exactly as it's supposed to do.
So I decided to make some complementary tests and I discovered that I was able to force the described behavior.
It just requires that I define line spacing as "Exactly".
Maybe your text is using this setting.

Subreport repeating and supress the new page

Hi, I make a report with Crystal report and I use a subreport.
This subreport is repeating some information. Why when a subreport is repeating something it begin on a new page.
I subreport which doesn't repeat it's ok but the other.
It's possible to say that it begin where I will.
If someone has an idea.

It is with the different section make sure that you have checked this option : conserve unity, it's the check box before delete the empty section.

When I open mail I get a list of the messages received but when I click on a message it does not displaying the main window. I have 2 different mail accounts

Just bought a new MacMini(my first Apple PC) and when I open mail I get the brief details of mail received but whe I click on the message to read the details I get a "loading" sign but the message is not displayed.

Do the working accounts use a different Port or Authentication than the non-working one?
The receiving email ports are:
IMAP is port 143
IMAP-SSL is port 993

How to repeat template layout in new pages?

I want to make a very simple storyboard layout with three rows dividing the page horizontally and one vertical line a third of the way from the left margin.
I did this and saved it as a template but the layout only shows up on the first page. If I add a page before or after the page with the layout, Pages gives me a blank page.
I would like the layout to repeat each time I add a page. Is this possible? If so how?

Section Masters have static uneditable items on every page, really just watermarks.
I take this back. It won't work in Layout mode documents but in Word Processor documents:
1. Add a vertical rule with the Shapes tool.
2. Add either 3 text boxes or a 3 row table
3. Select all the above: Menu > Arrange > Section Master > Move Objects to Section Master/Make Master Objects Selectable
4. Insert a Section Break on each page. It has to be a Section break otherwise editing the Master Objects will repeat on previous pages.
This has been always the absolute worst part of Pages 5 and I really can't figure out how anyone at Apple thought this was good design.
This was all resolved 30 years ago in PageMaker, Ready-Set-Go, and several other DTP Apps. Not to mention it worked very effectively in Pages '09.
I admit the Captured Pages implementation in Pages '09 is less than obvious, but its function once set up is way faster than anything else I know.

If i have a form with check boxes. Can I add a button that will display the boxes that the user selected on a new page?

For example, there are 10 check boxes and the user selects 5 of those boxes. Then they click a submit button. Just the information from those boxes would be displayed so they can print it. Is this possible? Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

That is definitely possible.
Option 1: checkboxes are all named differently.
In the click event for the submit button, add some code like this...

Option 2: checkboxes are named the same
In the click event for the submit button, add code like this...

I want to print some data in internal table in Main Windon and I have 4 windows which comes as footer.
now my question is if the data extend to next page , the main window on first page should be extended.

that is the property of MAIN window. it will automaticaly extend to new page.
Only thing you need to do is to specify a NEXT PAGE for first page. and define main windiw in that. you can use first page as the next page also or can define new page.

Multiple tables and templates in a main window

Hi,
Is it possible to have multiple tables and templates in a main window of a smartform?
If so then how they are positioned in the main window? Means which table to come first and which to be the next?

both tables and templates can be printed any number of times ina main window.
The tables as in sequence are printed...after ending with the first it gets on to the another.
If u want to print it under some cdonditions you can do it using the condition tabs.As per it is a main window the dats gets flowing to the next page so as the order goes thae data goes on printed.

Frame line not display in next page of main window

I am creating layout in SAP SCRIpt,it working fine only the main window of next page frame line is not display.
i m define next page as a FIRST page and writing main window of first page following coding

when i run the program first page are coming properly and only when i go in second page of output then main window lines not displaying.

Hi Praveen,
In that case why you have to make the main window in the first page and secondry window.
You can use it as manin window itself. Print the total amount in the main window itself in the first page. and copy that main window to the second page.
In the first page under the main window create a text. and there u print the total value and text.
Now copy the main window to the second page..only COPY DONT CREATE NEW.
In the second page now under the main window create the table to print the line items. What every u add in the second page main window it will come in the first age also in the smartforms. But it will nto get printed in the first page.After the text to print the totals call the COMMAND option and call next page in that.

Box in main window (sapscript) problem.

Hi, all.
I meet a weird problem....
I have 2 pages form which have 2 same MAIN window and of course their source code is same one. But when I run the output form, I found that one of the page which main window's box is disappear, while the other page no problem.
How come like this? Should be the box appear in both MAIN window, right? Hope someone can guide me.

Boxes in the main window only get printed in the first page, unless you include them in an element and explicitly call the, But of course that's not the way to go.
Every other window in the same page which has content that's not inside one element gets printed every page. So to solve your problem, declare another window (perhaps called BOXES) with the appropiate dimmensions and define in it the boxes you need. Replicate this BOXES in the other pages (if you use different page formats inside the sapscript) or leave it in the First page (if it's the only one in the sapscript). The boxes will now print in every page.
