Sapscript Translation

Hi all,
We made some changes to a sapscript form in its original languages (DE), now these changes are not visible in the other languages (something you would definitely find usual). We want to report all these changes to other languages, but we dont want to go through all the forms in the languages available using se76 (call us lazy) because we simply added new fields and not new texts, so is there a way to carry the changes in all languages without going on forms language after another?

try this way...
This is probably because the layout set has a different original language.
Go to the HEADER screen and check the language. If it is not the language version you are editing, you cannot edit paragraphs, sizes, etc.
It can be changed.
You can use SE71 with LANGUAGE set to the orignal (like DE).
In CHANGE mode, you can select UTILITIES -> CONVERT ORIGINAL LANGUAGE on the HEADER screen.
If you change it to EN, you can save, exit, then edit the EN version.

In 4.6C when I changed a translation for a sapscript form it created automatically a transport.
Now in 6.0 it wont!

in the above example you have to select FORM instead Smartform.

Sapscript translated in non-english language - Garbled output as Email

Hi Experts,
I've translated a SAPscript to Chinese and Thai language.
As per my requirement, the output can either be printed, emailed or faxed.
I'm using the standard include RVADOPFO for Open form.
For the english version, I'm able to recieve the properly formatted e-mail output.
However in case of thai and chinese, the Thai and Chinese characters do not appear. Most of them are substituted with blank spaces and some are substituted with boxes and unknown characters. However, the numbers and english characters appear.
Please help in getting the correct output.

SAPSCRIPT TRANSLATIONS

Hi Guys,
I want PO Medruck form to be maintianed in Russian Language.
When I try to print it shows some junk characters
the labels is maintained correctly in the table and while debugging the labels appaer fine but in preview all junk char appears.
we login with Russian Lang , Any clues guys

Have you done the translation for the script in se63 transaction? If you have already done that you may need to install some language specific sowtwares on your front end.

To call a transaction - In the same session (window) Enter: /nxxxx (xxxx = transaction code). - In an additional session, Enter: /oxxxx (xxxx = transaction code).
If you enter this function before any of the tcodes below, you are able to break out of your current screen/business and begin a completely new session. Otherwise, the current business process has to be terminated, and return to the initial user screen (the main menu) has to be initiated before entering tcode spro). /o tcode saves you the effort of having to do this.
To end the current transaction Enter: /n. Caution: Unsaved changes are lost without warning
To delete the current session. Enter: /i.
To generate a session list Enter: /o.
To log off from the system Enter: /nend.

How can I Split the PDF File into different pages?

My requirment is to split the pdf file , which is obtained by using FM "convert_otf" , into seperate PDF file for each employee data(PERNR).
Please suggest me the way to slipt the PDF file that has to be downloaded into the presentation server.

Ok, looking at that programm didn't actually help me very much to understand what's going on, or where you have the CONVERT_OTF call... Regardless, if the suggestion by Raymond is not feasible in your scenario, the thing I'd try to do is - splitting the spool (OTF) contents before calling CONVERT_OTF into individual documents (feeding it to convert FM piecemeal)... The link to OTF format and commands documentation is here.
Again, it's difficult to give a good algorithm without knowing the exact OTF contents (could you perhaps somehow export the display of spool in RAW format and attach here?) but it would boil down to approximately following:
1) set the &first_page per PERNR = 1;
2) run through OTF lines until the &end_page for PERNR has been identified somehow (hopefully there are Begin/End Form OTF commands '//' in that spool... and they correspond to the split of spool you need...);
3) extract the otf contents from &first_page to the EP command of &end_page into separate OTF itab and, if necessary, add // (End of form) command at the end of itab;
4) call CONVERT_OTF on the table and download;
5) set the &first_page per PERNR = &end page + 1;
6) repeat from 2) until end of spool OTF data
Something like that... Depending how the Sapscript translates into OTF, you may also need to prepend a few commands found at the very beginning of the spool to each extracted invividual OTF document...
I Hope you can get the gist of what I'm suggesting... splitting OTF is definetly easier than trying to split PDF, I feel. It's not ideal solution, because - what if the structure of OTF contents you would be realying on changes for some reason..?

SAPscript download to PDF in non english language - Translated.

Hi Experts,
In one of the requirement I'm Handling is Based on selection screen criteria, I'm supposed to download the output sapscript in the form of a PDF.
I've translated the sapscript to Thai and Chinese and I'm getting the printout output fine.
However, when I download to local drive as a PDF, the Chinese and Thai Characters are replaced by square boxes.
I'm Using Adobe Reader 6.0 for viewing the output.
Please help me find the cause and resolve the same.

Installing Asian Language Files for Adobe Reader
Asian Language Files are available for Adobe Reader. With any language version of Adobe Reader, you can display Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files that contain text in Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Japanese, and Korean (CJK). You need the additional Asian fonts installed in order to view the PDF file on non-native systems even if the author of a PDF file embeds CJK fonts in the document. All you need to do is install the appropriate Asian Language files for use with Adobe Reader. Asian Language Support installers are available on the Adobe Acrobat 6 product CD, or you can install them on demand (when a file that requires the fonts is opened) using the Updates feature.

i have made translations from english to spanish using se76 ,i need to transport these changed to another client,i tried the same using se63 but could not do.plz let me know how can i achieve this .

Hi Sunder,
If you want to translate any program, first run the settings in your pc for the chinese language. In regional language settings of your control panel.
Then go to transaction se63 and there depending on your requirement go and change the translation.
in case you are not able to see the transport request then again go to the translation change the translation once again (any one field) amd then save
go to admmistration -->transport recording -->all requests.
you will be able to see the request under your user id.
Even then if you are not able to see the request.
You go and create a Transport request by changing any of the text in your program and then save,
The request for text change carries the translation changes also in case of reports.
