Schedule 6 requirements

Hi all
Our client has a requirement of getting the Schedule 6 requirements from the system. They want to withdraw the Profit and loss Account plus Balance sheet from the system as  per the Schedulr 6 requirement.
My question is that whether we can  fulfill the same requirement from SAP R/3 4.7.and if yes, Then how?
Regards
Kanupriya Madan

Hi
You will not get the same in SAP in the ROC format. You need to take a dump of the data based on the FSV and then arrange it in excel in the ROC format

  • Complex schedule requirement - every 2 hours at even hours

    Hi all,
    I have a schedule requirement, wherein I need a runbook to run every 2 hours starting at 6am till 12am Sun-Friday (i.e. 6am,8am,10am...)
I looked at the monitor date/time task, however the challenge with that is that the runbook could end up running at 7am,9am,11am... etc. depending on when it started.
Is there a way to accomplish the above without having to create 10 runbooks, 1 per start time, as that would eat up significantly into the policy throttle limit.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
In Global Settings define a Schedule mit even hours. After "Monitor Date/Time" use "Check Schedule" Activity with the Schedule defined in Global Settings. In the link condition after "Check Schedule" filter only if "Conforms
    to Schedule equals true".

  • Download Scheduler - required authorization?

    Hi,
I have prepared precalcalculated report for user and he is supposed to
be able to download this report using the download scheduler.  But when he runs
the download scheduler an error message occurs before it finishes.  I tried
giving him a SAP_ALL access just to test if it has something to do with his
BW authorization, and it did work. Does anyone know what authorization
object I used for this (of course I can't give him SAP_ALL).
    Thanks for your reply.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
You can go to 'help.sap.com' and use the following path:
SAP BIW-> Data warehousing -> Data warehouse management -> Authorisations -> authorisation for working with BEx -> Authorisations to work with a Query.
The above would provide you with a comprehensive list of all that is required.
    Hope this helps.

  • MRP type change from VB to PD - Problem in old requirements MD04

    Hello Experts,
For MRP run we were using VB as MRP type in material master. We upload schedule in scheduling agrrements. At time of MRP run system was only considering based on reorder point only.
Now business disicion is change and we have changed MRP type as PD. So at time of MRP run system should consider based on requirements i.e. from scheduling agreement. Now here is our problem. System consider and shows old scheduling requirement also in MD04. Let me explanin you in detail. Before changing MRP type from VB to PD, there were some schedule  available in system. after that we have uploaded 2 3 more schedule. But system still shows old schedule availabe at time of MRP type change.
Can you please help me how to resolve this?? How can we clear old requirements from system.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

  • Delivery date is no use in scheduleing agreement.

We are using scheduling agreement and automatic schduling line for purchasing.
I already maintain delivery days =2 days and GR day=2days in scheduling agreement.
after MRP running, I found the delivery days is no use.
    For example.
    requirement date:2009.04.17
MRP result: scheduling line delivery date=2009.04.15 ( !only GR day=3 is in use)
I think the delivery date should be 2009.04.13
I am using standard TB (daiy lot size and the setting for Scheduling Requirements date := delivery date)
why is the delivery date  no use in MRP running?
    tks in advance.

    Hi
If you have used GR processing time in scheduling agreement (example 2 days) if the requirement is on 25.04.2009, then proposed delivery date is for 23.04.2009. GR processing time reduces plans 2 worksday for processing and reduces 2 working days as per factory calender to propose delivery date.
Planned delivery time will not be considered if the requirement date is more closer than the planned delivery time. You will see an exception message in MRP results for that.

  • How to create a scheduler for Batch  in MDM ?

    Hi ,
I am working on MDM 2.0.1.4 . I have a batch called D1-IMD for auto-transition of one IMD state to another state
I am able to run the batch manually (i.e Non-Timed Interval).
So please suggest me how to proceed with some Timed Interval of scheduler.
    Thanks in advance.

There is no scheduler in MDM (as there is in CCB). Oracle recommends that you use 3rd party schedulers, and most of our customers do this (MDM v1 and v2).
If you only have very simple scheduling requirements, then you might consider using the OS based schedulers (e.g. CRON for Unix, Windows Task Scheduler).

MRP results :scheduling line date=2009.04.13.(!only GR days=3 days in use )
Why? I am using standard lot size TB( daily lot size, Scheduling: Requirements date := delivery date)

  • SQL Server Scheduler Question

I've got a simple package that I want to build. It appears that I will not be able to meet the scheduling requirements on it though.
It needs to run on the 16th of every month - UNLESS the 16th is a weekend day, in which case it needs to run on the following Monday.
I can run it on the 1st, 2nd, (etc) Monday ... or the 1st, 2nd, (etc) weekday ... of the month.
It seems like I need some combination of available options - and I don't see them.
I believe I'd define my requirement as "First Weekday after the 15th day of the Month".
I doubt this is available - but if anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.
    Thank you.

  • Planned Order Component check and Scheduling.

    Hi,
Current Process: MRP runs automatically over a finished product and creates a planned order. This planned order checks in-house prodcution time of the product and backward schedules the dates.
New Requirement: MRP runs automatically over finished product and creates a planned order. This planned order checks in-house production time and "component availability". If all components are available, then the planned order gets standard in-house production time. If a component is missing, then system checks the delivery date of the purchase requisition/ order and reschedules the planned order to acommadate for the late arrival of components.
How can this new requriement be achieved? Is it possible that when I check component availability of a planned order, system automaticall re-schedules the order?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Srao, the concept of MRP is to schedule requirement dates and qty's based on the delivery date of the finished product. If any component is not available according to this scheduling, the system generates a reschedule proposal of e.g. an existing purchase req. or creates a new purchase req. or planned order.
MRP considers planned GR's on sub-level only if they fit the schedule. What u want is simply not the concept - sorry

  • Interface Build for Oracle Workforce Scheduling (OWS)

    Hi there
I am working with OWS which is a product so new that I see no Metalink Notes (apart from the product documentation) nor any posts on this forum.
Am particularly interested in developing an interface to it.
The most useful document for this is
Oracle Workforce Scheduling Integration Functional Guide 5.0.2
462087.1 12-OCT-2007 Oracle Workforce Scheduling Generic REFERENCE
Within this document, there is a tantalising reference to this document:
    Oracle Workforce Scheduling
    Interface Development Kit Guide
    https://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.sh
    owDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=390822.1
Whislt I can find the Integration Functional Guide on Metalink, there seems to be no documentation anywhere on this IDK.
Can anyone help me track down this missing link in the OWS documentation?

    Hi,
Has anyone worked on Oracle Workforce Scheduling (OWS) product? I am adding this question here as I could see some pointers mentioned about it here.
If anyone has worked on Oracle Workforce Scheduling (OWS) for scheduling requirements along with Demantra and OTL , please share the experience and pro’s and con’s of this product.
Also, if you can provide the details about the fitment of this product to handle workforce scheduling related functionalities e.g. what OWS can handle and what OWS cannot handle, that will be of great help.
    Thanks,
    Parag

  • A clear explanation is required

We produce and edit short and long-form radio programming, commercials and record VOs. I started with Cool Edit Pro at a radio station first in 1999 and eventually then to Audition 1.5. That's about 12 years using this system. Now Audition has evolved into something I no longer recognize. It no longer works for me and many other in my field. By the way, I tried 2.0 and 3.0 and each one offered less...at least for my needs.
My point is, I think that those of us in my field and I would guess in some related fields deserve an explanation as to why Adobe has deserted us. It is clear that Adobe either doesn't understand the needs of the audio production field (as separate from music recording end editing) or...worse still, doesn't care. Maybe Adobe doesn't realize that the broadcasting business comprises a large segment of thier customer base. (Most radio stations still use Audition 1.5) It seems apparent to me that Adobe is only courting the music recording and video industry and in fcat are attempting to tap into the Pro-Tools customer base with a far less expensive application.
So Adobe...what about us? I have searched on the Adobe site and through the forums to see a logical explanation as to WHY they have eliminated so many features on CS5.5 that were availabel previously. Did some group of users say "we don't need this"?  Did anyone tell you that we will never need to open archived ses files?  Did another group suggest that we don't need to save as voc, au mu-law file?  OR, did Adobe make this decision unilaterally, simply assuming no one would ever need those old files ever again? (I had a client as a mu-law file last month)
My point is, I saw the long list of the features eliminated but, no matter how much I searched, I didn't see the reasoning for eliminating so much of what previous releases had to offer. To those of us who have been long time customers, I think Adobe owes an explanation. Failing that, sell me the rights to Adobe 1.5. Kudos to Syntrillium. They came up with it first.
    Smart-Alex

    Smart-Alex wrote:
The crux of my complaint is that nobody is listening to us...commercial creators and radio broadcasters.
Honestly, this statement couldn't be further from the truth.  The Audition development group is still made up of many of the original Syntrilium team and some of our closest private pre-release testers and customers remain large radio and broadcast organizations (big ones with 3-letter company names.)  Audition is also quite pervasive in television and film production, audio forensics, podcast and amateur audio production, music production and mastering, and game audio design.  Each of these segments of our userbase have very different needs, demands, requirements, and requests.
I won't go into too much detail as it's been discussed in other threads recently, but the underlying code inside Audition needed to be re-evaluated for exactly the reason you mention: new operating systems and new hardware opened up a significant amount of opportunities that were previously unavailable and unaccounted for in the 15+ years of legacy, Windows-only source code.  Being able to open up not just a few effects here or there, but the entire core of hte application to take advantage of multiple CPU cores and processors, and welcoming Apple Macintosh users into the fold required a complete re-write of the application foundation.  Not only did this approach enable us to increase the speed of Audition, but it allowed us to explore new ways of editing such as almost complete non-modality of operations (eg. most processing can occur in the background while you continue working on other tasks, or tools that previously locked the rest of the interface are now free to remain open while you change selections, files, even views, and are ready when you get back,)
Now you could make an argument that we could have began this process sooner and would have already been able to surpass Audition 3 in terms of features and functionality, and I wouldn't disagree.  But Audition from 2007 was not in a state where we could easily port it to Mac and a cross-platform audio tool, Soundbooth, was needed by the larger company in the Suites and the team with the most knowledge and ability for such a task was the Audition team who, already small, was now creating two separate applications.  The corporate schedule required more attention to be paid to Soundbooth, which left far less time to devote to Audition.  This made very few team members or users happy, though Soundbooth did find itself a loving audience, and we finally got approval to tackle the process of re-writing Audition.
Now you could also make an argument that Audition CS 5.5 is incomplete and from your perspective, you'd be correct as well.  We've spent two years on the re-write process and met with dozens of large and small audio production houses, broadcasters, individual users, and user groups to get their feedback on what features were the highest priorty.  There were disagreements among them, certainly, but within the two year time frame, we managed to complete the majority of the highest-requested features.  Those we could not complete to our own degree of satisfaction were deferred until we had the time to build the usable tools that made Audition so popular in the first place.  We certainly could have delayed releasing anything until the CS 6 launch, but the postitive response to CS 5.5 has exceeded our own expectations.  While the first phase of the re-write hasn't satisfied everyone 100%, a significant portion of our existing users are more than happy and we've been able to adopt a lot of new users who had no opportunity to use Audition before.
And we're not sitting on our thumbs right now in some glow of self-satisfaction.  If our existing pre-release users were not silenced by an NDA, they'd tell you we've already implemented many of the legacy features that were missing from this release.  Not features that were "eliminated."  And throughout the entire process, we've relied on our customers in private and here in the forums to tell us what they wanted from Audition, why they prefer Audition over competing tools, and how we can make them happy and excited about using our product in the future.  I'm not sure if you'll find another group at Adobe that spends more time talking with their users here, on other forums, in person, and over e-mail.
So, please help us make Audition what you're looking for.  You mention that version 2 and 3 offered you less and less over 1.5, but you didn't explain what fewer options were there or why you returned to 1.5 each time.  Without this feedback, how can we be expected to help build the tool you want?  If you don't share with us the things you need or dislike, and even what works very well for you, we either have to guess or rely on other people's suggestions.
Thanks, and I look forward to discussing this more.

  • Scheduling & Capacity Determination

    Dear Sir,
What is Scheduling & Capacity determination?
Is it relates to each other? n how?
    Points will be rewarded.....
    sonal

    Hi,
Capacity is relate to scheduling. But scheduling is not relate to capacity. That you can check from Production scheduling parameters or Planned order parameters.
Assume You have 5 work centers. To produce 100 qty it will take 100 hours if you use only one work center.
So to produce this 100 qty, capacity required is 100 hours even though if you use 5 workcenters. Each work center work for 20 hours, so totally 100 hours required.
But in scheduling required only 20 hours. Because if 5 work centers parelley run for 20 hours, 100 qty output will come.
So capacity is 100 hours, scheduling time only 20 hours.
This is the difference between Scheduling and Capacity.
    regards,

  • Re : Backward Scheduling

    Hi
How to set transit time, Picking time, Packing time for the required delivery date in Backward Scheduling Process.
    Thanks
    Mani

    Dear Mani,
Example of Backward Scheduling for In-House Production
    Example Data
    Requirements date
    25.6. (Friday)
    Goods receipt processing time
    2 days (workdays)
In-house production time for the material:
    6 days (workdays)
    Opening period
    6 days (workdays)
Workdays = Monday to Friday, no bank holiday
    Scheduling
Requirements data minus goods receipt processing time = order finish date
    25.6. (Friday) minus 2 workdays = 23.6. (Wednesday)
Order finish date minus in-house production time = order start date
    23.6. (Wednesday) minus 6 workdays = 15.6. (Tuesday)
Order start date minus opening period = order opening date
    15.6. (Tuesday) minus 6 workdays = 7.6. (Monday)
Example of Backward Scheduling for External Procurement
    Example Data
    Requirements date
    31.10. (Monday)
Planned delivery time of the material
    10 days (calendar days)
    Processing time for purchasing
    1 day (workdays)
    Goods receipt processing time
    2 days (workdays)
    Opening period
    10 days (workdays)
    Workdays = Monday to Friday
    Scheduling
Requirements data minus goods receipt processing time = order finish date (provision date for vendor)
    31.10. (Tuesday) minus 2 workdays = 27.10. (Friday)
Order finish date minus planned delivery time minus processing time for purchasing = release date for purchase requisition or order start date of planned order for external procurement.
    27.10. (Friday) minus 10 calendar days minus 1 workday = 16.10. (Monday)
Release date minus opening period for planned order = opening date of planned order
    16.10. (Monday) minus 10 workdays = 2.10. (Monday)
I hope it will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • What's the best way to backup before upgrading to Leopard?

I'm preparing to move to Leopard from 10.4.11 and need a little help backing up. I want to do a clean install, so I want as good a backup as I can get to my external firewire disk. The external drive is about the same size as my internal drive, and I am about half full.
My first thought was to use an rsync like solution and create a bootable backup. How cool is that? But it appears there are some issues with rsync, and those issues appear to have changed over time. My current version of rsync is 2.6.3, and it comes from samba.org. My guess is that is the default for 10.4.11, at least I don't remember changing it.
So now I look at rsyncX version 2.1. It wants to replace my existing rsync and the documentation I found didn't reference a version of rsync as current as mine. In addition, rsyncX does not exist in the Apple support world. That bothers me a bit. I just as soon stay away from the SuperDuper, Carbon Copy Cloner, etc., because they are way more than I need.
All this gets me to thinking that I might be better off just backing up user files. Currently my backup procedure is to occasionally back up user home folders. This is strictly a manual process, no scheduling required. KISS method usually works best for me.
It appears to me that when I copy home folders to the external drive, they are then available to any user connected to the drive. The current user becomes the owner of all files on the external drive with full read write privileges. Is this true?
So, I'm not looking for a backup solution, I'm looking to safely upgrade to Leopard. Time Machine will become my backup solution on Leopard, if I don't stick with my current solution.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Although certainly not the only option available the safest way to clone is to use the Restore option of Disk Utility. However, alternatives include the current versions of several backup utilities that provide cloning alternatives:
    Recommended Backup Software
My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
    1. Retrospect Desktop (Commercial - not yet universal binary)
    2. Synchronize! Pro X (Commercial)
    3. Synk (Backup, Standard, or Pro)
    4. Deja Vu (Shareware)
    5. Carbon Copy Cloner (Freeware - 3.1 is a Universal Binary)
    6. SuperDuper! (Commercial)
    7. Data Backup (Commercial)
    Before cloning do the following:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now shutdown the computer for a couple of minutes and then restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.5.2 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

  • Warnings while transporting a process chain

    Dear all,
I am getting the below warning message when I am transporting my process chain into Quality. Due to this, the PC is now in inactive version in the target system.
The logs shows the below message
No destination maintained in target client 001 -> Not activated
    Message no. RSPC085
    Diagnosis
When activating a process chain, this is checked and scheduled. Both the checking of a process chain and its scheduling require that
    1. the function is executed in the target client of the import and
    2. the user executing the function has the appropriate authorizations.
This is usually the case for the BW background user
The function can be executed in the target client if an RFC logon occurs in the target client. An RFC destination must be predefined for this purpose. This destination is used for logon to the target client from client 000 during import postprocessing.
This destination does not exist in this system.
    System Response
The process chain will not be activated, which means that it will not be checked, scheduled, or saved in an active version. The process chain will only be adjusted to the local situation (for example, key changes with objects that are dependent on the source system), and will not be saved in a modified version.
    Procedure
Create a destination for the import postprocessing.
Can some one please help on this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Srinivas

    Thanks..
Yes, this is the first process chain we are transporting.
I tried maintaining the paramters in RSTPRFC with the below settings..
    Client: BW client 001
    Destination: TPBWMANDTRFC
    User: ALEREMOTE
    PWD: ************
I want to know whether the details of teh destination are correct. If so, are these settings need to be maintained in QA and Prod systems as well?
