Screen not moving with play

This has happened a couple times, but this time the issue isn't resolving itself. The screen is just staying put during play. I can move it with the cursor but it won't do it automatically. Any way to fix this?

Nevermind, just figured it out. Thanks anyway.
If you are actually looking for an answer to this question, there is a tiny button at the bottom right-hand corner (stress corner, not just to the left of the corner) of your 'viewscreen.' Click so the arrows are lined up on top of each other and your screen will start moving again.

Sounds like you're a candidate for Lightroom...based on the time you don't
want to spend in Photoshop.
Photoshop install media is likely created in large batches, perhaps in a
foreign country, so it's understandable that you get Photoshop 11.0.0 is on
the media.
I don't know as I would use ProPhotoRGB as my working space in Photoshop. I
was merely suggesting that you look at your color settings to make sure
things were the same on both machines.
How do you know your actions are the same? Did you copy the action
recording from one computer to the other, or did you merely record the same
steps on each one? Have you compared the details of each action step in the
Actions Palette to make sure they are the same? The symptoms still sound
like something different than sRGB being the output color-space, or the fact
it isn't embedded on one or the other of the computers.
How are you viewing the JPG when it looks the same or different than the
RAW? Are you looking at the side-by-side in Photoshop, or side-by-side in
Bridge, or are you using a mixture of viewers, one Adobe, and one not? And
are you using the Canon Codec on Vista or not? The Canon Codec would be
showing the camera-preview in the RAW not the RAW adjustments that Adobe has
done.
While the OS shouldn't be causing a difference in how the action is run, a
difference between OSes may make a difference in the processing to show up.
The camera profile associated with a RAW file is visible in the
third-from-right tab in ACR over at the right. The one with the little
DSLR-camera icon on the tab.
Can you attach the two JPGs on a reply, here, or if not, upload a ZIP of the
two JPGs and the RAW to a file-sharing site like http://www.rapidshare.com/

Photoshop CC transform boundaries are not moving with the object...HELP

All of a sudden when rotating an object the white boundary boxes are not staying with the object which is causing me tons of problems!! How do I fix this?

There are many way to make templated to populate one like you have a background layer with placement layers above you need to add images and clip them to the placement layers.
I create mine with differently to allow automated population.

I have a Pavilion 25bw screen. not compatible with window 8.1

I have been trying to upgrade to windows 8.1 from 8.0 64 bit
Everytime I do, I get a flashing screen.   Finally after a year of problems
a windows tech figured out that the drivers for this screen are not compatible and that HP does not have an upgrade that
would be compatible.
Windows techs tell me that windows 10.0 will be coming out soon and that I need to upgrade to 8.1 in order to upgrade to 10.0 for free.   I can't do that when my screen keeps flashing, so I can't operate the computer in order to upgrade to 10.0
I guess I could try a new monitor but what are the chances that one will work.   Am getting a little frustrated with this whole deal.

I understand that you are having issues with the screen on your HP Pavilion 25bw Monitor flashing when you upgrade to Windows 8.1 and you believe it is the monitors drivers that are causing the issue. I am providing you with the HP Pavilion 25bw 25-inch Diagonal IPS LED Backlit Monitor Drivers, which has drivers for your monitor on a computer running Windows 8.1.
I recommend that you download and install these drivers as if it is your monitor that is the cause of your issue this will fix it for you.

White screen, not syncing with computer- tried holding buttons please help?

Please help. The screen of my daughters 4th gen ipod has frozen white. Have tried syncing the frozen ipod with computer but it is not recognised. I have treid holding home and sleep button at the same time but no change. Would be prepared to do a reset but the computer cannot recognise it. Have read various other responses to questions and am currently leaving the batteries to drain. None of this is helped by the fact that my daughter is sobbing about it in my ear! Ahhhhh

Keyframes not moving with clips

I have a large number of audio clips with lots of keyframes - the video edit (which was locked) now needs some minor tweaking. But when I go to move my audio clips forward to sync with the now shortened video, the keyframes don't move with the clips. I'm sure I must be missing something very simple but I can't seem to figure this out. how do I lock the keyframes to move with the clips?

Thunderbolt screen not reacting with Yosemite

I updated this week to Yosemite on my MacBook Pro 2012, connected to a Thunderbolt screen.
All working fine, but as soon as my MacBook goes in sleeping mode, the thunderbolt screen will not react anymore.
MacBook awakes, starts up again, thunderbolt screen stays black.
Only thing that helps is turning electricity off of the screen, put it on again and everything comes to life again.
Didn't have this problem with Mountain Lion or Mavericks.

Im also having an issue with my monitor since I updated to Yosemite. I have a mid 2010 15" mac book pro.
Everything seems to be working fine until i plug in my old apple monitor thru a mini video adaptor. Then
my computer slows and freezes, its unusable. I spent a few hours at the genious bar with my mac book pro
yesterday, tested fine, working fine without the monitor plugged in. Never had an issue with Mavericks or any
other OS.

Once i switch on power button. Apple logo comes and after a while it disappears and round cursor keeps rotating.
and screen doesnt move to normal start up .
So unable to start the laptop.

Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
Step 1
The first step in dealing with a startup failure is to secure the data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since the last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to start. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
a. Start up from the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.” The article refers to starting up from a DVD, but the procedure in Recovery mode is the same. You don't need a DVD if you're running OS X 10.7 or later.
b. If Step 1a fails because of disk errors, and no other Mac is available, then you may be able to salvage some of your files by copying them in the Finder. If you already have an external drive with OS X installed, start up from it. Otherwise, if you have Internet access, follow the instructions on this page to prepare the external drive and install OS X on it. You'll use the Recovery installer, rather than downloading it from the App Store.
c. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, start the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
d. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
Step 2
If the startup process stops at a blank gray screen with no Apple logo or spinning "daisy wheel," then the startup volume may be full. If you had previously seen warnings of low disk space, this is almost certainly the case. You might be able to start up in safe mode even though you can't start up normally. Otherwise, start up from an external drive, or else use the technique in Step 1b, 1c, or 1d to mount the internal drive and delete some files. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation.
Step 3
Sometimes a startup failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
Step 4
If you use a wireless keyboard, trackpad, or mouse, replace or recharge the batteries. The battery level shown in the Bluetooth menu item may not be accurate.
Step 5
If there's a built-in optical drive, a disc may be stuck in it. Follow these instructions to eject it.
Step 6
Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to start up, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can start up now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
Step 7
If you've started from an external storage device, make sure that the internal startup volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
Start up in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know the login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
When you start up in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, the startup volume is corrupt and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to Step 11. If you ever have another problem with the drive, replace it immediately.
If you can start and log in in safe mode, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then restart as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
If the startup process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
Step 8
Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select the startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then restart as usual.
Step 9
If the startup device is an aftermarket SSD, it may need a firmware update and/or a forced "garbage collection." Instructions for doing this with a Crucial-branded SSD were posted here. Some of those instructions may apply to other brands of SSD, but you should check with the vendor's tech support.
Step 10
Reinstall the OS. If the Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
Step 11
Do as in Step 9, but this time erase the startup volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically restart into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer the data from a Time Machine or other backup.
Step 12
This step applies only to models that have a logic-board ("PRAM") battery: all Mac Pro's and some others (not current models.) Both desktop and portable Macs used to have such a battery. The logic-board battery, if there is one, is separate from the main battery of a portable. A dead logic-board battery can cause a startup failure. Typically the failure will be preceded by loss of the settings for the startup disk and system clock. See the user manual for replacement instructions. You may have to take the machine to a service provider to have the battery replaced.
Step 13
If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

Mask is not moving with the set key frames

Hi Everyone,
Though I have been using this forum a couple of years now, I never felt the need to ask a question, up until now that is. First of all, I would like to take the opportunity to thank so many of you for giving me the answers hence solving my problem before I had to ask. In particular people like Bill Hunt and Harm come to mind. Thanks!
Now on to my question. In my project a have a track matte key on top of a video with a mask on top of it. A bit like that "24-Kiefer Sutherland-type" editing. This has worked great for me in other projects. However, in this particular one I have set motion key frames on the mask but it only starts moving way later than the key frames are set. Pushing the keyframes forward as a workaround does not give a nice result. Any idea what could be the problem here? I'm editting a 1920x1080 project and the mask has the same dimensions. The update for Premiere only mentions something about Facebook which I don't care about so I don't think a bug will be removed with that upgrade and I'm affraid updates will slow down my workflow (as was the case with the latest Lightroom update for me....)
I hope this makes sense to any of you.

Hi Ann, sorry for the late reply. I got the (hidden) message to update anyway, didn't know there was a "learn more" link which actually stated "general bug fixing" or something so I thought I'd give it a try. Updated PPro, restarted my computer but the problem with the mask remains. Here are some screenshots:
You can see my mask and in the effect controls panel you can see that the CTI is way past my keyframe but the picture is still way outside the "wanted" image, a bit later it all of a sudden slips quickly in place but of course it doesn't look nice at all (mind the CTI):
By the way, the image of the guy himself is getting smaller as well at the same time via a simple scale key framing. Here's a close-up of what I'm trying to do:

Screen not flush with bezzle,quick question...

Hey guys I have a quick question,ok so I just visited a apple store and recieved a new/referb. iPhone 3gs because of dust under the screen and noticed that the replacement phones bezzle and screen isn't flush and was wondering if i could bring the new phone in for a replacement phone with a flush screen? It's not realy a big issue but the first iPhone 3gs I had didn't have this problem.
Also has anyone had any experiences with this issue?

7821 IP Phones showing FAC in screen (not masking with *)

Hi, everybody.
I have a problem with 7821 phones regarding FAC showing in their screens after you dial a phone number without the * to mask it. In every other model of phones we have the normal behaviour is to mask the FAC with * after you dial a phone number.
This is some info:
CUCM version: 8.5.1.10000-26
Device Pack version: 8.5.1.17113-2
7821 Firmware version: 10-1-1SR1-4
*** Other problem we currently have is that the spanish locale for this phone is not accepted by the platform, stating this message:

Major and minor version numbers obtained from the name do NOT match those of the current version.
And because of this I haven't been able to configure spanish language on phone, since most of my users speak spanish only.

Dual HP touch screens not working with t620

HI, I have two L2206tm touchscreens on a t620 thin client running ThinPro 5.1.0. When connecting two monitors, the touch screens function erraticly or not at all. If you only connect one touch screen, it works okay (either monitor, so it's not a problem with the monitors). Some notes:The touch screen applet that's included with ThinPro has a calibrate button is shadowed out. The touchscreens are recognized in the USB as 1 device in the ThinPro USB mgr. (TPV - OpticalTouchScreen)Both touchscreen work when the settings for monitor 1 and 2 are setup as "Same As Primary" (meaning that the displays are mirrored. As soon as you set one of the monitors to be Entended (right or left), the touchscreens stop working.Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Chris

The numbers are fine
Try the following.
First, ensure the Touchpad is switched on ( the light between the Touchpad and the Spacebar should be white ), then download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, shut down the notebook, remove any external devices connected to the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
When windows has fully reloaded - it will automatically load a generic driver for the Touchpad, but just let it do this. Then open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook.

Screen resolution on second 20" screen not possible with 1680 x 1050 ?

Hi,
I´ve got two Dell 20" widescreen monitors connected to a G5 with Dual DVI out. First monitor with DVI connected works fine with the 1680 x 1050 resolution, but the second monitor (connected via vga) can´t be set to the same necessary resolution. The monitor control panel does not offer this resolution when using vga. Does anyone know how to get this resolution with vga connector on the second screen ? (I know I had this resolution one day with tricking around with cables and switching).

As far as I know, that resolution isn't available through VGA. I thought you said your machine has dual DVI out... Does your second monitor not have a DVI input? If it does, why aren't you using it?

Touch screen not working with internet link in safari

Anyone has the same problem?
After 1.1.1 update, my touch screen occassionally fails to respond any tap on internet links in safari. no matter which web site you go to, no link will work on tap.
I tried to clean catch, cookies, etc. The only way to out of it is to reset the phone (both key pressed).
It happens about once or twice a day, not often enough for Apple people to duplicate it, but enough to bother me.

I have had the same exact problem occur 3 or 4 times since the update. I fix it by turning the phone off and on again.

BI Report Variable Screen not working with I.E-7

I recently installed Internet Explorer 7. Iam not able to execute BI Web reports. When I try to drilldown on the selection screen variables of the report. It gives me the below error. Is anyone encountering the same issue;
"This application does not support this browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; Infopath.1)"

...Internet Explorer 7.0 is supported for NetWeaver as of SPS10...
perhaps just use IE 6.0...
