SD Account determination for business partner items

Hi All!
I need to understand how does the account determination works for business partner items. I know that al trx VKOA is where I can customize the account that is gonna be used at the GL items, but I can't find where is the customizing of the accounts for the business partner items. Could you help me?
Thanks in advance!
Fred

Hi
When you create a billing document (trx VF01) in SD, you can then go to trx FPE3 and the this document from a finantial point of view.
In trx FPE3 you will see the ducument splited in two parts, the business partner items and the GL items. If you doble click over any line of the GL items (excluding taxes) you will see more information about this line and one of it is the GL account. This account is set via trx VKOA.
Going back, if you doble click over any line of the Business partner items, you will see more information about this line and one of it is the GL account. But in this case I don't know where it should be customized.
I hope I was clear enoght.

Fred

  • Gl Account Determination For Business Partner

    Hello Experts .
I have 2 control accounts namely .Sundry Debtors [ Local ] & Sundry Debtors [ Foreign Buyers ].
In Gl Acount Determination in Sales tab for " Domestic accounts receivable  " i have given account as " Sundry Debtors [ Local ] "
and in Foreign Accounts receivable i have given as " Sundry Debtors [ Foreign Buyers ] ".
Now when i add new customers by default it is taking  * Sundry Debtors [ Local ] * in accounts receivable/payable.
Where as it should take * Sundry Debtors [ Foreign Buyers ] * .
But when i put the * Sundry Debtors [ Foreign Buyers  ] * in * Domestic Accounts Receivable * then it is taking properly .
But how is this happening .
is there any thing i have to set to make * Sundry Debtors [ Local ] * come automatically.Because my clients customers are of foreign that is other than INDIA.
    Please help experts.

    Hello Rahul Sir
    Thanks for prompt reply .
Yes as u said for foreign customers we should input foreign control account , where as for local we input domestic control account.
But how does the SAP comes to know that the customer which we are going to add is either of foreign origin or local origin .
    For E.g:
When we try to add new customer , automatically in accounting TAB the control account is selected automatically .
and by default domestic control accoount is getting selected.
What i want to know is how sap recogonises that the customer which we are going to add is either of foreign origin or local origin.
or it is the default behaviour of SAP.
as said above that domestic control account is selected automatically . where as i need foreign control account.
whether i should select it manually when trying to add new customer or what .
because we give local CA in domestic control account & foreign in foreign control account.
What is the logic behind this that while adding new customer sap takes local control account automatically.
Please experts i am confused with this , can any body help me out.

  • Partner determination for sales document item

    Hi people
We have a partner function in sales order (carrier) that must be determinate by item, this is necessary because we sell different materias in the same order that can't be transported by the same carrier.
In customizing Partner Determination for Sales Document Header is possible to use an user exit assign the origin X, Y or Z, in this case I would use the exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_003, but for partner determination for sales document item i didn't find a way to assign the origin X, Y and Z
Does anyone have an idea for solving this?
    Thanks
    Emerson

Whatever Partner functions are assigned to the Procedure  assigned to the Sales document Type, only those partner functions will feature in the Sales document header.
In the procedure assigned to the Item category you will find like that 3 only only as in the Sales order you can not have different Sold-to-party for different Item.
Whichever Sold-to-party is there in the header that is applicable to all item. So at item  level Procedure
sold-to-party partner function is not required to assign.
Sold-to-party is unique for a Sales order and can not be changed.
But at Item level, you can have different Ship-to-party for different items so the partner function has to be there and to deliver the item one SH is mandatory, that is why it has been marked mandatory in the Procedure.
All the partner function assigned to the Procedure at header level will be copied to all item. In your procedure for the header you must be having 5 partner functions.
You can change the SH at item level for few items.

  • Defining Account Determination for Real-Time Integr

    Dear all,
I haven't understood yet about Account determination for the real-time integration of Controlling (CO) with Financial Accounting (FI).
Please tell accounting process that use this account. And give me a detail example.
    Thanks so much
    Minhtb

    Hello
This is the new feature in New GL accounting
During allocations in Controlling, most of the postings created do not affect Financial Accounting. These postings do not update any G/L account transaction figures; they are postings within Controlling. If, however, an allocation in Controlling leads to a change in the functional area or any other characteristic (such as Profit Center or Segment) that is relevant for evaluations in Financial Accounting, a shift occurs between the affected items in the profit and loss statement. For this reason, this information has to be transferred to Financial Accounting. This reconciliation between Controlling and Financial Accounting takes place by means of real-time integration.
As a result of real-time integration, all Controlling documents that are relevant for General Ledger Accounting are transferred from Controlling to General Ledger Accounting in real time. This means that Financial Accounting is always reconciled with Controlling.
A document is created in Financial Accounting for each posting in Controlling. This means that the detailed information contained in the CO documents is always available in reports in New General Ledger Accounting. This information can be sorted by the following, for example:
    ●     Functional area
    ●     Cost center
    ●     Internal order
Real-time integration replaces the reconciliation postings from the reconciliation ledger. Consequently, you do not need a reconciliation ledger.
If, however, you do not set the Reconciliation Ledger Active indicator in Customizing for the controlling area, you cannot use the reports belonging to report groups 5A* (5AA1-5AW1). You set this indicator in Customizing for Controlling under General Controlling ® Organization ® Maintain Controlling Area. The reconciliation ledger serves as the data source for reports belonging to the report groups 5A*. You find these reports in the SAP Easy Access menu under Accounting ® Controlling ® Cost Element Accounting ® Information System ® Reports for Cost and Revenue Element Accounting.
Replacement reports are available as follows:
    ●     You find the reports in the SAP Easy Access menu under Accounting ® Controlling ® Cost Element Accounting ® Information System ® Reports for Cost and Revenue Element Accounting (New).
    ●     You can create additional reports in report group 5A21. You can assign the report group to any drilldown report of New General Ledger Accounting using the report-report interface.
    ●     From the report Financial Statements Actual/Actual Comparison, you can call up the report Cost Elements: Breakdown by Company Code. You find the report Financial Statement: Actual/Actual Comparison in the SAP Easy Access menu under Accounting ® Financial Accounting ® General Ledger ® Information System ® General Ledger Reports (New) ® Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss Statement/Cash Flow ® General ® Actual/Actual Comparisons.
You can define account determination for each controlling area. You do this in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) ® Ledgers ® Real-Time Integration of Controlling with Financial Accounting ® Account Determination for Real-Time Integration. In this way, you use the same account determination as for the reconciliation ledger (transaction OK17). You can then use the reconciliation ledger reports to compare FI balances with CO balances.
    Prerequisites
If you use real-time integration in at least one company code, you need to have activated company code validation for the related controlling area. You do this in Customizing for Controlling under General Controlling ® Organization ® Maintain Controlling Area ® Activate Components/Control Indicators. Otherwise, the reconciliation between Financial Accounting and Controlling at company code level is not possible.
In Customizing for Financial Accounting (New), you have processed the IMG activities under Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) ® Ledgers ® Real-Time Integration of Controlling with Financial Accounting.
Activate real-time integration for all company codes between which you want to make CO-internal allocations.
In the IMG activity Define Variants for Real-Time Integration, do not select all CO line items for transfer. If the same line items are to be transferred as through the reconciliation posting from the reconciliation ledger, select the following line items:
    ●      Cross-Company Code
    ●      Cross-Business Area
    ●      Cross-Functional Area
    ●      Cross-Fund (if you use Public Sector Management)
    ●      Cross-Grant (if you use Public Sector Management)
    Features
Value flows within Controlling that are relevant for General Ledger Accounting – such as assessments, distributions, confirmations, and CO-internal settlements – are transferred immediately. The FI documents are posted with the business transaction COFI. They contain the number of the CO document. This means that you can call up the CO document from the FI document, and vice versa.
    Activities
If a document could not be transferred because the posting period was blocked in Financial Accounting or no account was found, for example, the document is included in a postprocessing worklist. You need to check this worklist regularly and process any documents in it. From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Accounting ® Financial Accounting ® General Ledger ® Corrections ®Post CO Documents to FI.
    Example
An internal order for business area 0001 is settled to a cost center of business area 0002. The document from this allocation is transferred in real time to Financial Accounting.

  • Business Partner Items - 0FC_BP_ITEMS

I want to activate datasource 0FC_BP_ITEMS as delta enabled. The documentation says to activate IMG settings. I do not see the "Maintain Central Settings" in IMG as in this thread: Business Partner Items - 0FC_BP_ITEMS
I can not find how this was resolved. Is there a specific component version for FI-CAX needed in ECC 6.04?
Thanks for any further details on this.
    Regards,
    Al

    Hi Colin
I am facing the same problem.
Our SAP Basis is a bit concerned about this issue. They have advised me that after activation of Business Functions Sets existing customizing and therefore tables were deleted and newly created.
Furthermore we have FI-CAX version 600. That means we don't have installled EHP for these components in our ERP-system.
Do you know the side-effects if you activate such business functions?
Is there a guide  or documentation for this activity?
    Thanks

HI, I'm trying to GR a PO for a material using movement type 101 and am getting the following error
"Account determined for entry (chart of accounts no) WRX 0003 not possible"
I know that I need to go to OBYC to make an entry for transaction WRX for valuation group code 0003 and valuation class and then assign it to the relevant gl.
My problem is I don't know what the valuation class should be.  In the PO there is short text entered for the item rather than a material number so I cannot go to the material master to check what valuation class is assigned.  Is it linked anywhere to the material group?
Thanks in advance for your help

    yes u can do
    fist
u can make the entry and blank valuation class and give the gl account in wrx
so that it will take this GL account for blank materia number
    or
u cna give valuation class to material group

  • Account determination for cash sale

    Hi, sapcons
please can any body can help me by sending  step by step notes on account determination for cash sales and rush orders
my mail id is [email protected]
    thanks in advance
    regards
    srinivas

    Hi Srinivas,
Account Determination for Cash Sale and Rush Order will be done in VKOA Transaction.
Please find below the Process of Cash Sale and Rush Order
    CASH SALE:
Cash sales is an order type for when the customer orders, picks up and pays for the goods immediately. The delivery is processed as soon as the order has been entered. A cash invoice can be printed immediately from the order and billing is related to the order. Receivables do not occur for the customer as they do for rush or standard orders, because the invoice amount is posted directly to a cash account.
    Process Flow
In the standard system, sales document type BV is saved for cash sales with immediate delivery type BV.
When the sales employee creates a cash sale, the system automatically proposes the current date as the date for delivery and billing. Once the order has been posted, a delivery with type BV is created immediately in the background and the system prints a document that is used as an invoice for the customer.
The invoice papers are controlled with output type RD03, contained in the output determination procedure for order type BV.
For Cash Sales the necessary Config Settings are,
Copy the BV Standard Order and Copy to ZBV and in the functionality of ZBV check whether the field " Immediate Delivery" has the value "X" or not because that creates the Delivery immediately when the cash sale order saved. Do the same for item category BVN as ZBVN. And check whether credit active unchecked or not in ZBVN.
Do the item category determination for cash sale for which u configured. And at the time of cash sale u will get the invoice. For that u use the output type Rd03.
    RUSH ORDERS:
In a rush order transaction, the customer picks up the goods or you deliver the goods on the same day as the order is placed. In the standard system, when you save this sales document type, a delivery is automatically created and billing is related to the delivery.
    Process Flow
In the standard system, sales document type SO is saved for rush orders with immediate delivery type LF. Once the goods have been removed from storage, the goods are picked, and goods issue is posted.
Once the billing documents are created (for example, in collective processing), invoice papers are printed and sent to the customer.
For Rush Order the necessary Config Settings are,
Copy the RO Standard Order and Copy to ZRO and in the functionality of ZRO check whether the field " Immediate Delivery" has the value "X" or not because that creates the Delivery immediately when the cash sale order saved. Do the same for item category TAN as ZTAN. Do the item category determination for cash sale for which u configured. And check whether credit active checked or not in ZTAN.
    Please Reward If Really Helpful,
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Account determination for entry ECCA WRX 0018 ZZ1 9126 not possible

    Hi all,
I am getting this error while doing GR using MIGO.
"Account determination for entry ECCA WRX 0018 ZZ1 9126 not possible"
There are 5 items in the PO and I get this error if I try to post all of them together. However if I try to post 1 item at a time, I am able to post all the materials individually.
I have checked the entry in OMWD, where valuation grouping code is maintained againt the valuation

    Hi,
There are two confusions in your posting -
    1)   At first, the error message has indicated that SAP has verified the G/L account with valuation class 9126 and therefore, blank valuation class was not taken into account;
    2)   Secondly, if you can be able to post GR individually for each and very PO line item, then it has nothing to do with missing account assignment determination.
Are you pretty sure that you can post GR individually?.  Did you actually maintain the valuation class for all of your material IDs in material master?  If the answer for two questions is ''Yes'', then I would suggest you to debug your program to see why SAP has populated the error message only in case of GR for all material items.
    Cheers,
    HT

  • Account determination for non-valuated material

    hi,
I have configured account determination for non-valuated material when I try to post the Invoice then error come that GR/IR account required for posting. but my GR is Non valuated so GR/IR account would be ignore then why required GR/IR account by system at the time of Invoice.

You have to understand the difference between GR non valuated and non-valuated stock
Non- valuated stock has following attributes
    1. Value update should not be flagged in the material type and valuation area combination (OMS2)
    2. That means the stock will not have inventory values and further good movements after GR would not have accounting document
    3. Non- valuated stock material can have GR valuated or GR non valuated ,depends on tick /untick of GR non valuated field in the purchase order under delivery tab.
4 . Material type does not have any control on GR non valuated .It is controlled by account assignment category or item category or manually in the purchasing documents.
    Scenario 1:
in your case if you have created PO with non-valuated material  and without GR -non valuated flag ,there must be an accounting document in GR as follows
GBB     - Consumption account  - Debit
    WRX - GR/IR account  - credit
and if you do invoice ,you would have following accounting entries
    WRX - GR/IR    - debit
    vendor-           -  credit
    Scenario 2:
IF you have created PO with +non- valuated material + and flagged + GR non- valuated+ in PO, then GR will not have any accounting entries and MIRO will have following accounting entries
    Vendor -     credit
GBB -  consumption account - debit
let me know if you have any concern
    Regards

  • G/L account determination for shipment cost

    Hi Experts,
I am having a problem setting up account determination for shipment cost document.
When saving shipment cost document, SAP generates "service entry sheet" (PO) and GR with accounting document,
but I would like to change the default G/L account by shipping condition type.
So far, I have set up automatic G/L account (OBYC), GBB and WRX, but I could only define the default one.
Could you please advise if it is possible to change G/L account for freight accrual?
and if yes, how to change G/L account determination by shipping condition type?
    Thank you
    JK

    Hi,
    1. Menu Path: Logistics Execution > Transport > Shipment Costs > Pricing > Pricing Control > Define And Assign Pricing Procedures
    Transaction Code: SPRO
Shipment pricing procedure is same as the standard pricing procedure and uses condition technique to retrieve the data from condition tables.
    2. Pricing Procedure Determination for Shipment Costs:
Based on the combination of Item category Determination group, Service Agent Procedure Group, Shipping Type Procedure Group, pricing procedure is determined
Menu Path: Logistics Execution > Transport > Shipment Costs > Pricing > Pricing Control > Define And Assign Pricing Procedures
    3. Search Procedure for the PO:
TPPt: Transportation planning point is taken from the shipment document
SCTy: Shipment Cost type is taken from the shipment cost document
POrg: /Pgr/Plant: Purchasing Organization, Purchasing group and Plant is assigned to the combination of TPPt & SCTy.
On these values the purchase order is searched for the Vendor mentioned in the shipment document
Menu Path: Logistics Execution > Transport > Shipment Costs > Settlement > Assign Purchasing Data
    4. Automatic G/L account Determination
I hope this information will help to you.
    Thanks & Regards
    Raju
From the Transaction u201CGBBu201D and combination of General Modification key u201CVBRu201D and valuation class the G/L account is determined for the posting to the freight accounts.
Menu Path: Logistics Execution > Transport > Shipment Costs > Settlement > Automatic G/L Account Determination
From the Transaction u201CWRXu201D and value of valuation class as u201C u201C the G/L account is picked for GR/IR accounts.

  • Not all fields for Business partner are exported

    Hello,
I am exporting Business partner data from CRM to another system, through XIF. I get on target system XML file with Business partner data. But I have only standart fields. I can't get fields, which was created my company for own use.
For example, for Business partner I have Business Agreement, but after export to XML, I have no Business agreement data in another system. But I have standart data, for example, Business partner Name, ID, ets.
Anybody know what I can do to export all the fields for Business partner? Some transaction or somthing else? Where can I customize output XML with Business partner data?
    Best regarda,
    Alexander.

    Hi,
You have the right observation. There is no mandatory fields for BP. It means you can update any single field against CardCode. CardCode is the only mandatory field which is the only primary key must be unique.
    Thanks,
    Gordon
