Search in Inbox - IC WEBCLIENT

Dear Experts,
While searching Categories In the Inbox tab in IC Webclient, the search should only display the complaints created by a particular user only.
This is possible when Assigned to "ME" dropdown is selected.
Acc, to our business scenario, the TEAMLEADER of a group shld be able to view all the complaints assigned to his teammates.
can any1 guide me on this.

correct answers will be rewarded

Hi nirav
There are two ways of doing this
1. as mentioned by shridhar
Assign your Team Lead user id -->BP -->IC Org in the PPOMA
If you Team Lead user id is there in all org's he can see the complaints made by agenmts in all the org's.
2. SPRO  > ICWC>Agent Inbox>Map Item Attributes to Inbox Attributes>Map Business Transactions to Responsible Employees and Groups .Map your complaint transaction type here.
Now, in the ICWC in the agent Inbox search via category drop down.
Cheers!!

  • Service Ticket: Search using Inbox & My Worklist in IC WebClient

    Dear Gurus,
When I create a Service Ticket in the IC WebClient in CRM 5.0 and save it, the system generates a Transaction Number which I can then search for by using Interaction History, Inbox and My Worklist.
When I search using Interaction History, I select the relevant Service Ticket and the system takes me to an Interaction Record, and from there I can navigate to the correct Service Ticket.
When I search using Inbox, the system takes me to a Service Order, which I do not believe is correct.
When I search using My Worklist, the system also takes me to a Service Order, which I do not believe is correct.
    Any recommendations?
    Rgs,
    Alan

    Hi
You can search service ticket from inbox ideally by entering the object ID in the agent inbox or you can also search for service tickets in interaction record which is an activity transaction type if you maintain the copy control for service ticket from interaction record then you can search for service ticket through the interaction record as well.
refer to best practice link for the service ticket custimiseing settings for icwebelient

  • Unable to search icloud inbox in Outlook 2013, Windows 8.1

    HI,
I hope someone can help, I've been struggling with this for a few weeks.
I largely use my iPad and iPhone for email but have recently been more reliant on my Windows laptop as I have need to create items in office and it's simply easier on the large screen.
Outlook and iCloud integration has however been a constant source of frustration.  I have almost got it, including the work around to subscribe to the sent items folder and create a rule.
The one thing now causing me frustration is that I am unable to search the iCloud inbox.  When I type a search string it simply sits in 'searching' even though the message is there.  This is strange as I can search all other iCloud folders and even right clicking on a message and selecting find messages in conversation works.
I have tries rebuilding the index.
As a side note, as it might be related, every time I open Outlook I receive the message 'For best performance, iCloud should not be set as the default data file.  You can change this setting in Windows Control Panel under Mail, Data Files.'  As I'm not sure what this means I've not done this.
I'm sure I can't be the only person with this frustration and I really hope someone has a neat solution.
Thanks for reading and hope to get a response soon.

I have had the same problem.
I have deleted the icloud account in Outlook and reinstalled it again by "icloud system control".
Now I am able to access my icloud calender, etc. again.
    Hope this helps, best, Peter.

  • Business Transaction Search for Inbox In SPRO

    Hi,
I am creating my own Index Table for Transaction Search in SPRO to optimize the search performance. This will be used in icweb client Inbox Search.
I will remain all standard search fields and some customizing ID fields.
In the SPRO, I would like to add all fields into the Flat Structure.
For example: to add standard search field "Category", I can get it from "CRMT_ORDERADM_H_IX" - "PROCESS_TYPE".
But for some standard fields such as "Account", "Responsible Employee", "Time Period" and "Assigned To", I could not find the right field.
Does anybody know about this? Deep appreciation for that.
      Thanks in advance.
    br,
    ginnie

    Hi,
These different searches refers to the organization assignments and the partner functions assigned to the transaction (Service Ticket). Like for ME the system will look for all the tickets in which employee responsible is assigned as your BP.
Similarly for My Team ,My Group and My resp group will look for the Org model in CRM and display the results accordingly.
In the result list if you want to display the Service Employee Group Column then goto the Personalize button and make that column as Display.

  • Outlook 2013 search inbox not searching all inbox items

    Hi
I have setup outlook 2013 to cached 12 month worth emails and trying to search an email in inbox search tool, only getting few results. When I click More option it takes long time to display results.
Can we fix this issue, can we setup outlook to search all the emails in inbox faster.
    I am running
Windows 7 with Office 2013 fresh installed
    Thanks,
    Kris

If we set the Mail to keep offline to 12 months, when you perform a search.  the search is performed only against the local data only.  You are presented with the option to find more on the server.
If this is not the case but the wrong search result issue. Please perform these:
    • Check for pst/ost-file corruptions (Use Scanpst.exe tool)
    • Disable and then re-enable the file for indexing
    • Rebuild the index
    • Reinstall the Windows Search feature in Control Panel > "Turn Windows feature on or off"

  • Change of Interaction Center WebClient Inbox search

    Hi All,
Our requirement is to change the inbox search of Interaction Center WebClient. Here we need to add one more field called Schema Version Management. When we search for inbox it has to pick that schema vesion inbox. Could you please some one suggect is there any BADI or any other method to implement it? Appreciate your inputs.
    Thanks in advance

The SAP CRM Interaction Center combines separate processes
Communication Process via various channels, e.g.
    E-Mail (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3):
Pull scenarios: using SAP Connect interface
    ERMS workflow (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3),
    Agent inbox workflow (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, )
    Push scenarios:
    simple ICI E-Mail,
ERMS push (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3) using combination of SAP Connect and ICI mail handling
    Telephony
    Chat (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
    Fax and Letter (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
    Customer Interaction Process (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
and the integrated Business Transaction Process
CRM Business Transactions: UIU integrated views (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
    IC specific business transactions (CRM 7.0, EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
within the context of a single process flow or an agent's "interaction" with a customer.
Blog "Hitchhiker's guide from a process perspective", gives an overview of those processes integrated in the SAP Interaction Center
Only business roles of type B IC Webclient support above mentioned process integration. When setting up your own business role for the Interaction Center, consider KBA 1836437 which summarizes technical prequequisites from customizing point of view.

  • IPhone out-of-sync with Exchange after performing inbox search?

    Hey everyone,
I work as an IT technician for an Enterprise where the majority of end-users utilize iPhones (4 and 4s) and iPads (all versions) with varying versions of iOS. Many of these people have ActiveSync set up with our Exchange Server (2008RS, Exchange 2010). We have received a pretty consistent amount of user complaints for a while where end-users' iPhones will [seemingly randomly] become out of sync; i.e. they delete an email on their iPhone and their Outlook doesn't reflect this for hours or visa-versa.
We have traced this down to indexed searching with the iPhone. In a nutshell, if an end-user tries to search their inbox for an email using the search feature, this is when everything becomes out-of-sync with Exchange. The workaround is restarting the phone (for some reason restarting the Mail app doesn't help).
I am curious if anyone has more information around this or perhaps a fix so we're not having to tell people (namely Executives and VIPs with larger inboxes...thus searching is used more) to restart their iPhones all the time.
I thank each of you in advance for any advice you may have. Thanks!
    -Ryan

    Hi mehrardt,
It does sound like the exchange email account has to be removed from the iPhone and then added again.
If he has another personal email account on the iPhone, you can have him delete the exchange account and then tap a configuration profile that you emailed him.
The iPhone Configuration Utility available here: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/ will let you create a configuration profile with certificates, which you can email. The receiver would just tap the profile and it would configure the iPhone.

  • How to search for 'on behalf of' emails in my inbox

    Hi,
I am trying to filter through my inbox to find emails that have been sent 'on behalf of' someone else. However I cannot seem to find a method of searching for these emails in the advanced search area.
Could any one suggest a method of search an inbox to only see emails that have been sent 'on behalf of' another email address.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no method to filter the 'on behalf of' messages out.
However, if you want to filter the messages which someone sent 'on behalf of' a specific address, we can do this with Outlook rule. Create an Outlook rule with specific words
    in the message header, see:

  • Ohhh no. Please help me turn off inbox searching?

I just "upgraded" to Yosemite and I'm dumbfounded by the new form of searching that includes searching your inbox! Including a search of my inbox when I'm looking for a file not only drastically slows down the computer's speed, but it's also a complete waste of time. I would never use Finder to look for something related to an email I was sent (I'd use email, duh).
Please tell me that there's a way to turn this off so that Finder is only searching for files, not scanning my inbox. I have thousands of emails that have been exchanged back and forth over the years related to some of the files I've created, and would never want those turning up every time I do a basic file search!

    *bows to you*
Thank you so much. My computer that was functional and fast pre-Yosemite was moving at a snail's paste just to do a simple file search!

  • Emails in inbox not visible unless searched for after mailbox migration

    Hi,
After migrating a mailbox from exchange 2010 to 2013 everything looked ok upon first logon. The user then deleted 4 emails which prompted all the emails to disappear that were listed in inbox. They are visible if you do a search within inbox. All new mails
    do show as normal.
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
Agree with Amit's suggestion. Please check if you can see these emails via OWA. If yes, please use Online mode to verify if Outlook works well. If yes, I recommend you create a new profile to solve this issue.
If the issue persists, please use Outlook safe mode to determine whether the problem is caused by add-ins.
    Hope it helps.

  • Outlook advanced search & Exchange 2013 - "Sent to...." field doesn't work correctly in online mode?

    Hello,<o:p></o:p>
We've come across what seems to be a problem with advanced find in Outlook in online mode, when used with Exchange 2013.
Using the "Messages" tab of "Advanced Find", anything typed into the "Sent to...." field produces no search results.  If the field is populated by clicking
"Sent to..." and selecting a name from a contact list or GAL, results are returned.
    eg.
Sent items contains messages to "Charlie" who has the email address
    [email protected] and sender is
"Dave" who has the email address
    [email protected]
    Entering "charlie" or
[email protected], (or any previously acceptable partial term such as "charl" or "@contoso.com") into the "Sent to"" field produces no results.  If the user exists in a contact
list and is selected from it, the search works fine.  The same is true searching the inbox, using the local user's id of "Dave" or
    [email protected]
We've confirmed this issue occurs at four client's sites, plus our own internal Exchange 2013 CU3 system.  Four of the sites have been transitioned from Exchange 2010, the fifth was a completely new installation.  The problem occurs with Outlook
    2007, 2010 and 2013.
This works fine in cached mode (not a solution as our clients are predominantly Citrix/RDS).  Exchange search doesn't report any issues and the index states are all "healthy",
we've also tried rebuilding the indexes with no improvement.
Any ideas would be appreciated, or even if someone else can confirm they see the same thing.
    Thanks.

    Hi Winnie,
Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry I've not responded earlier.  While this problem is one that's annoying several of our clients, and while I have been doing further testing and investigation, it's had to take a back seat to other more pressing issues
    until now.
OWA search works fine, as does using "From:" in instant search, and the "From" query on the Advanced tab in Advanced Find.  The search services have been restarted, indexing state and copy status etc are all healthy, the indexes
have been rebuilt/reseeded, and I've gone through the diagnostics again.  Nothing is logged in event viewer, and the only error that comes up when checking failed index docs for a user are for unsupported format handlers (.png etc).
The issue seems purely to be with the "Sent to..." field on the Messages tab, it's as if it gets completely ignored.  The search returns instantly with "There are no items to show in this view".  Just to make sure I wasn't losing
my marbles, I've compared searches on Exchange 2007 and 2010, and on those I can enter as little as a single letter or email domain and receive the expected results.  On 2013 I get nothing whatsoever whatever I enter, unless I pick an address from a contact
    list.
At this point, I thought that since Office 365 is Exchange 2013 based it'd be worth testing that, and sure enough I got exactly the same issue.  I setup an Office 365/Outlook 2010 profile on a machine that is currently in an existing Exchange 2010
environment where search works correctly, searching Office 365 doesn't work on that either.
EDIT - Ignore this bit, a fresh install of Windows 7 and Office 2010 doesn't work with Office 365 either.  I am exploring another avenue.  I setup a fresh Windows 7 VM, installed Office 2010 and connected that to Office 365, search worked fine,
so I'm now looking into what the difference with that VM and the servers and workstations out "in the wild" could be.  For example, the test VM isn't on a domain, it's not fully patched, it has no additional software installed etc.  Outside
of Microsoft applications and operating systems and having similar configurations, I haven't isolated a common link across all of our client sites that are affected, there's no single 3rd party application or anti-virus solution in place at all of them for
    example.
I'll update with any findings, but if you or anyone else has any idea in the meantime I'd be grateful for your input.
    Regards.
