Thanks for your help!
AlexWell known issue in LMS 2.6. Most likely you are hitting CSCsm97530. As a temporary solution you could remove and re-add problematic device from CS. To get a permanent fix you need a patch (provided by TAC).

Error 4 when updating the text data
When i am trying to load the data using IP i am facing the issue Error 4 when updating the text data. Please suggest me
Edited by: srikanth reddy612 on Dec 15, 2011 12:45 PMhi srikanth,
you might have selected given lowercase data
and please check in the Infoobject the lowercase Checkbox is unchecked then it will allow you to update from IP.
also check in the Datasource fields tab whether particular field is unchecked with lowercase.
if checked all records you are pushing will have to be in uppercase.
thanks

Error during retrieval of the logon data store
Hi guys,
well after checking and changing RFC-Destination we are not able to resend stucked data in Monitor. We still get the error Error during retrieval of the logon data store
What can we do to solve the issue?!
brHi, well we did this and got:
if_http_client send http_communication_failure
Therefore i checked SM59 INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and the user-pw was invalid?! How comes?!
We changed it, new cache refresh - but still we are not abel to resend the messages!
br
Edit:
in Monitor we get this error:
+ <SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_RUNTIME</SAP:Code>
<SAP:P1>FM NLS_GET_LANGU_CP_TAB: Could not determine code page with Q01CLNT100 System-dependent data for entry /RFC/Q01CLNT100 ch FM NLS_GET_LANGU_CP_TAB</SAP:P1>

Seems to me like role problems we once solved! -
Hi
LMS 4.2.4 inventory collection fails with Error RICS0001:Internal Error, unable to process the collected data from the device for few devices.
Can anyone help me out.
Regards
LaxmiThey are definately supported. However such issues are usually due to device packages, if unavailable or not installed.
Please do following :
1. Check Admin > software centre > device updates and check any devices packages available in Cisco.com and install it and recheck.
2. Please do a snmpwalk on problematic device on sysObjectID and share result. Following is the way to do snmpwalk :
GUI - Open the device in Device Centre (Inventory > Tools > Device Center) and open the device with IP and from tools select snmpwalk and do it for sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2)
CLI : CD to NMSROOT/objects/jt/bin from command prompt. run command as per following syntax:
snmpwalk -v2c -c <snmp_community_string> 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
Example :
community string = test123
IP = 10.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c test123 10.1.1.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
3. Please check your device package, by clicking on the number of packages in front of Inventory, conifg and image management from :
Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update
Also, check device identity under edit identity option from :
Inventory > Device Administration > Add / Import / Manage Devices
Check my screenshots for details :
Please check and share results.

I want to generate an Accountname using EmployeeID, FirstName and LastName via a workflow.
I'm using the Granfeldt Workflow Activity Library (https://fimactivitylibrary.codeplex.com/)
I'm using the FIM Powershell Workflow Activity (https://fimpowershellwf.codeplex.com/)
Steps:
Passing the EmployeeID, FirstName and LastName to the powershell Activity, generating a logonid based on logic.
Add-PSSnapin FIMAutomation
$EmployeeID = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.EmployeeID
$Forename = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Firstname
$Lastname = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Lastname
'logic creating a custom logonid here
==> This works
Returning data back to the workflow via that powershell script:
$fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Add('NewAccountName',$newlogonid)
==> This works
Using Lookup Value Activity to read the Workflow data and update the [//Target/AccountName] fails.
This gives an error:
An error occurred while enumerating the filter 'string' .
(where string is the actual generated userid that I've got back from the powershell script. Example dab2563)
I tried with only [//WorkflowData], then this gives the error:
Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Any hints to solve this?
Kind regards,
DavidThe Lookup Activity is for looking up an object in the FIM Service. Seems like thats not what you're trying to accomplish.
For updating the target of the workflow, just use the built-in Function Evaluator. The Lookup WF was not built for that and it is failing because you have not specified a valid XPAth lookup filter, such as /Person[AccountName='BillG']

No error on not filling the Mandatory Data elments
While using both COM & SOM functionality, many a times manual tasks can be completed even when the mandatory data elements are not filled and no error is shown.
Generally speaking, OSM will refuse to allow a task to transition to a completed state if the number of instances of each piece of data visible to that task is not between the min and max cardinality (inclusive).
If you can provide more details on the problem that would be helpful to understand what is happening in your scenario.

Error message while changing the delimit date of a job in ppome
Hi experts,
I have delimited a job in ppome to date 11.05.2011. But now i want to remove that delimit date and change it to unlimited(31.12.2999). when iam trying to change the delimit date it is showing a popup message 'select a date between 15.11.2008 and 11.05.2011'. Can anyone say why it is showing this message. how can i delimit that job again to 31.12.2999.? Same problem with the position also.
Pls help...Dear Priaynka,
Thanx for ur reply, I am again furnishing below the details:-
I have to change the Valuation Class of the material :-
7 POS for which Goods Receipt & Invoice Receipt have been done from period 1 to 7.
1 PO for which Goods Receipt & Invoice Receipt have not been made.
All the material reced in period 1-7 have been consumed by MFBF. Now no material is available in the material in that plant.
Should I change the valuation class by deleting the line item of all the PO's 7 POs + 1 PO.
Please advise, as the fresh PO will be made with new val class and GR/IR and Consyumption will happen after the change is made.
Please advise if I am wrong in the procedure.

Exchange 2010 webmail - contact search returns an error when single letter is used
Exchange 2010 SP2 environment. In Webmail when a user creates a new message, pressing on the To: button to add recipients, if they search the GAL, a single letter search (A for example) returns all names starting with A.
If they try to perform the same search for their contacts they get: No results found in IE or the error below in Firefox and Chrome. If I search contacts with two letters "Ab" for example then no error occurs and I get results. So search doesn't work
the same way for contacs vs GAL. Is this normal for webmail 2010?
An unexpected error occurred and your request couldn't be handled.

It might help if you upgrade - even if you don't want to go to SP3 yet, your OWA version appears not to be at rollup 2 level. I only mention this because if it is a problem specific to version 14.2.247.5 (which
could easily be the case, because MS change the OWA scripts with surprising frequency) , it's going to be hard finding people who can reproduce the problem.
But to answer the question in the last sentence, searching the GAL and searching Contacts is, in a technical sense, very different. The GAL search is done with an LDAP query against Active Directory, whereas Contacts are usually going to be mailbox items,
plus a few AD contact items.

Directory search returns wrong results when you modify the view
Hello,
I have a custom list used a staff directory. This is SharePoint 2013. I am using a search box where users can type in names to find people.
When I add or remove a record in the list or modify the view and then I search for my name, all search results appear. It once just returned 1 record for my name, but now it returns all 100 records in the list.
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Paul
PaulHi Paul,
Did you search in the SharePoint list or in SharePoint search center?
Could you provide more details about how you created the custom list?
Please try to enable Server Render as editing the page->Edit Web Part-> Miscellaneous, compare the result.
Please operate in other lists and in other site collections and test whether this issue occurs.
Please start a full crawl in Central Administration -> Manage service application -> Search service application -> Content Sources and test whether this issue occurs.
Could you check if it exists error in ULS log after you failed to search in the SharePoint list.

where
contains(testdata,
'me inpath(/user/givenname) &(victor inpath(/user/givenname))') > 0
This should not result in any results but it does show the record out.
What is it we have to do deal with the word "ME". It works fine for any other values.Since "me" is a default stopword, searching for "me" and "Victor" is like just searching for "Victor", so it returns the row with "Victor" in it. If you want to be able to search for "me", then you need to either remove "me" from your existing ctxsys.default_stoplist using ctx_ddl.remove_stopword or specify another stoplist during index creation that does not contain me or an empty stoplist. You will need to drop and recreate your index after changing or modifying stoplists in order for the changes to take effect. Please see the demonstration below. I have added a couple of rows so that it is clearer what is and is not returned. You can check the token_text column of your dr$...$i index to see what it is tokenized, indexed, and searchable.

How to return an error code to DOS at the end of a java batch
Hi,
I have a batch file which launch my java program.
At the end of the program, I would like to give my batch file an error code.
Do you know how to do that?
Does the main function is able to return an error code?
Does the bat file is able to recover it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
NicolasHi,
No, the variable ERRORLEVEL will hold the status code of the "command" last executed. E.g.
java -cp "%CLASSPATH%" tets.BatchRetour
IF ERRORLEVEL 1 goto HandleError

Write to text file returns no error even if the underlying file is deleted
Hi,
I'm using a CompactRIO and writing to a text file underneath the C drive.
I'm running into an unexpected situation when I am trying to error check my file handling. I assumed that if the underlying file being written to that was created by open/create/replace vi and written to with the "Write to Text File" vi, would return an error if I delete the file from underneath it in the file system., yet there is no reported error and the function carrys on seemingly successfully writing to a file that has been deleted.
Anyone know why this happens and how to potentiallly remedy?Ouch, this obviously isn't ideal but is probably down to the filesystem on the CompactRIO.
I would consider putting in a check - doing something like getting the file position from the file might return an error if the file no longer exists.
