Seeing double in UWL?

Hello all,
Some of our users are seeing the same item repeated twice in their uwl. This is happening for only some users and for some items and not for others. I checked to see if the UWL configuration has been loaded twice for two aliases and it is not. Their sap inbox displays only one item.
Has anybody come across this behaviour? My first impulse is to reset the UWL cache but since this is a production system, I am hesistant.

WRE54G: Seeing double?

Quick background: my network is one tethered Win2K PC, one wireless WinXP Pro PC, and one desktop Mac. Had some problems with my old B + Booster setup and replaced both today.
I set up a WRT54G router -- with WEP -- and a WRE54G range-extender. I used the auto-config button, as per the enclosed instructions. The range-extender is now in place, and although MacStumbler tells me I've got two networks with the same SSID, it only says one of them is secured. When I told the Mac to join, I entered the hex key and it worked just fine.
Then there's my WinXP Pro PC...
It's using a Linksys USB Wireless B adapter. Their config utility tells me that there are both the same two networks (one secure, one not) available, but won't let me change it from the one that my Mac sees. I can see that it's configured to the "unsecure" SSID, but can't change it.
Viewing available wireless networks within Windows shows me one with my SSID, unsecure, and my neighbors networks. I tried going into the Properties for my TCP/IP connection, under the wireless networks, and forcing it to use the WEP key. This worked for about 5 minutes, and now it's back to thinking it's joined the "unsecure" network but with no real connection.
Also, to add further insult, my PC's CD-drive isn't recognizing the installation disk that came with the range-extender, so I can't install the utilities. During the 5 minutes I had a valid connection I tried to download the software from Linksys, but can only find the firmware update.
So, I have a Mac that had no trouble figuring out which one to join, but my PC is seeing double half the time and not letting me set it correctly. I also can't seem to get the default IP for the extender to load; it keeps timing out in my browser.
What am I missing? I'd hate to unplug the extender, because at least my Mac is working.

Hi… The reason you are able to see two different networks see that you Range Expander is not connected to your wireless router. You need to ensure that both the router and RE is setup with exactly same wireless settings such as SSID and WEP. The shortcut to add WEP key to WRE is that turn off the router and assign a static IP to your PC on the wireless adapter. Connect to this WRE54G’s wireless network and access its setup page by its IP address. Add the WEP key to it and turn on the router. You may need to do a power cycle, you would be able to see only one wireless network and connect to it.

Seeing double & triple entries in iTunes TV Store

For some reason today, I'm seeing double and sometimes triple entries for episodes in the TV shows section of the iTunes store. For instance, on the show Damages, I see "1 Pilot" repeated three times and "2 Episode #0101" repeated twice. That's a total of five entries in the list but only represents two actual episodes.
I'm seeing the same thing in virtually every other TV show I look at. Grey's Anatomy Season 1, for instance, is doubled with 18 entries for the 9 actual episodes... each one listed two at a time.

Seeing double in Contacts

Dear Common Wisdom:
Why am I seeing double in my Contacts app on my iPad.
Each entry is in there twice!

Hmm. I see the following message: "Your contacts are being synced with MobileMe over the air. Your contacts will also sync directly with this computer. This may result in duplicated data showing on your device."
I have the "All contacts" button selected, but nothing else under the Sync Address Book Contacts heading.
I don't see the choice you mentioned. Maybe this is a bug for the next fix?

Loops seeing double

Hi all, I recently upgraded from Logic express to Logic Studio (Big Box). I'm not sure but I think I may have overwritten some of the loop installation. Ordinarily I would not think this would be a big deal, however when I open my media browser in Logic Studio it is showing me 2 sets of all jam packs (Voices, world etc.)
I know its nothing to do with Express as I have completely removed express. Pls help. The double factor doesnt really bother me. Its having to sacrifice precious hard drive space

Since upgrading to Mavericks, I see double images in MAIL.

Since I upgraded to Mavericks, if someone sends me an E-Mail with an image, I see it doubled. (side by side)
I downloaded Thunderbird as a test, and it's normal there, so it has to be in Mavericks and MAIL.
I don't see any options to handle images (or at least ones that solved the problem) so I'm stumped.
I like the layout of MAIL better than Thunderbird, but the image thing is annoying.
MAIL worked fine until Mavericks. I hesitate to go to Yosemite, since I'm afraid I'll get more glitches.

Is it an iCloud.com or me.com account? If it's neither you can ignore me - if yes, read on
In Mail>Preferences select the troublesome account on the left, click on the Advanced tab and make sure Apple Token is selected from the drop-down menu next to Authentication. Test to see if it works.

Seeing double pictures in library

I am new to lightroom and noticed that when I develop pictures, like correct for red eye, lightroom keeps the original photo in the library. So I end up with all these double and triple photos when I develop any photo. Why is this and how can I change it?

Could you describe in more detail what you do? Unless and until you use Export to send a file with all edits applied, no new files are created- unless you are creating Virtual Copies.

HELP!! I'M SEEING DOUBLE

I just did some routine iLife upgrade, so maybe that's the problem. But now EVERY item in my calendar has doubled. The same item, same time listed twice.
Anyone who knows how to correct this short of manually deleting 50% of what's in my database, love to hear from you.

Sadly, this very nice free download applescript doesn't solve my problem. It seems the duplicated items popped up in different calendars. That is "Buy groceries" is duplicated, once green for Personal and once Blue for Business. Since the Applescript only eliminates duplicates WITHIN one calendar, it doesn't solve the problem.
Fortunately, Command-clicking on lots of items and then hitting Delete isn't too big a deal, but very frustrating.

I am seeing double...double files

Hello,
I can't figurer out what to do. My remote site and my local
site are generating doubles of folders in different levels of my
site. I am getting so confused I can hardly handle it. I have
inclosed a link to what my dreamweaver files window looks like. You
will notice two css folders, 2 image folders, etc. My styles are
screwy and I don't know what to do. I think it is a simple
solutioon to do with dealing with the unnamed folder at the top of
my remote site.
Please take a look and give me a hint. It maka me cwazy.
I'm going to go and drink some toilet water.

Did you redefine your site somewhere along the way? You have
a site within
a site, so to speak. What is the folder that is called
francistannahill.com? The whole site is in there and also
some of the
folder are outside also.
Looks to me like the root is supposed to be the
francistannahill.com folder.
You can put that under the Host Directory in the remote site
definition so
everything FTPs to the correct level.

SEEING DOUBLE HELP WORDS ON MY TASK BAR

Can anyone please help me with this problem I'm having that when I open up either Quicktime or iWeb, I see the word help twice at the top of my task bar. Shouldn't there only be one help instead of two. I haven't been drinking if that's what you are all thinking ha!

Seeing double - Buttons duplicating themselves on iPad

Hey,
For some reason, whenever I convert any element inside a MSO (hidden or visible state) into a button, it will show up double on the iPad, and somewhat offsetted to the top and right.
This is happening with both CS5.5 and 6, and DPS V22. It all looks fine desktop content viewer, and only happens on the iPad.
For now, I just place an invisible object the button, and make that the actual button, but it's pretty annoying, and forces me to have redundant objects.
It seems like a similar problem to the one described here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4592301#4592301, only that it affects all buttons, not just text frames. I use pixels as the document units
Is there any workaround?

Seeing double images, wanna see just one?

I am seeing two sets of images. One is the master/original the other is an altered version of it.
What do I do to just display the latest/altered version?

The Master and the Version images are in a stack, this is shown in the master image in the top left corner with a number. When you click the number the images will collapse into a stack with the master only showing. If you do not want this master as the Key image expand the stack again click on one of the versions and drag it to the left so in front of the master, you will see a green bar on the left. When you now collapse the stack the version you selected will be your Key Photo.
