Self-Destructive .swf

Hey i want to ask you can i create the following thing and if i can do you have any ideas how.
I want to create a simple .swf where for example on frame 1 i have a photo. And what i want is after you open the .swf you will have about 10 seconds to view this photo and after that i want this photo (or the entire frame) to be delete (emptied). And even if you restart the .swf file it will not show you the photo. (it could directly load you on frame 2 where it will say for example "the photo has been destroied" [if it makes it too hard this is not necessary to be included ]).
Thanks

stop();
var so:SharedObject=SharedObject.getLocal("/");
if(so.data.alreadyViewed){
nextFrame();
// execute below when appropriate eg, after 10 seconds viewing frame 1
so.data.alreadyViewed=true;

    I feel you. Same here. I've spoken with someone and emailed twice. The first excuse I received was there was a server overload with everyone trying to download because it hadn't been released yet. Now it's two weeks later, and I'm being told to email them again. Plus I was charged twice also.

  • Self destruct PDFs -- PDFs with an expiration date

    Hi,
    There's quite a lot of Google search results for "self destruct PDFs" but I haven't found a solution.
    Is there third party software for giving a PDF an expiration date so that it can't be opened after a certain date?
    Thanks,
    David

    Yes; you apply digital rights management using an Adobe LiveCycle policy server.
    There are some supposed 'solutions' using JavaScript but they simply don't work.

  • Why Can't Older Internet Explorer Versions Be Self-Destructed?

    Web Designers And Developers Always Have To Pay The Price For Older Browsers, esp. older I.E versions. Lot's of people especially old folks and computer illiterates still use them due to the fact they know very little About Browsers
    and updates, Why Can't All the Older Unsupported version be Killed.
    How?
    Same way browsers or any other software get prompted(their users get prompted) there's a new version once they connect to the web, then told they should click 'update' to update, all users of older browsers would be prompted "this
    browser is just stupidly outdated, it'll self-destruct in 10 secs, and the latest supported version would be downloaded automatically, sit back and enjoy" Problem solved!

  • Mac OS X's spell-check self-destruct

    Hi,
    Can someone, please, verify this behavior? If so, this then is a pretty hillarious bug in Mac OS X's quilt-in spell-checker.
    The entry "selfdestruct" is flagged as incorrect, and the spell-checker offers the "self-destruct" option. Immediately, the "destruct" fragment is flagged as incorrect, offering "distract" and "district" as options. How can a spell-checker deem incorrect its own suggestion?!?
    Thanks, Tristan
    G4 PowerBook   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

    If you open the Dictionary app and enter "destruct" there are 13 entries beginning with "destruct" and ending with "destructs" but very few of them have definitions attached. If you enter "-destruct" as in "self-destruct" you get suggested alternatives of "distracts" and "districts". Entering "selfdestruct" pulls up "self-destruct".
    I'm not sure what all that signifies except I'm glad I don't write dictionary applications.

  • Export completely self-contained SWF?

    Dear Forum,
    I have zero experience with Flash Builder, so sorry if this is a stupid or redundant question. I imported a project from Catalyst and am trying to export the whole thing as one single self-contained SWF with all the assets embedded (as opposed to being in separate folders). I have no problems making a release build with all files in the corresponding folders, but is it possible to generate only one single working SWF?
    Thank you for your answers.

    Thank you, David for your reply. I don't know of a way either. WHY?? Let's see, I have videoed many 'horses', edited them (each is many edits and last about 90 seconds each) all on one timeline, chapter marking them so they show up as separate "chapters" in a QuickTime movie. Or on a DVD. These will be displayed on another system (probably a PC) and they are requesting each horse as a separate entity. That's what's prompting the question. I thought maybe there's a way to do this - perhaps with "Automator" or something?
    Thanks

  • Filevaulted account self destructed!

    This is very strange, but today I rebooted and my user account vanished. I had a filevaulted account and since time machine won't back it up unless you logout I did a restart and went for supper. I saw the backup starting, but when I got back later I could no longer login. I had to go through a pretty long process to get back working, I won't describe it here, but it's on my blog if you want to read the whole story, see link at the end of this post.
    What I want to know is how my account could self destruct like that? Will this happen again? I am now better prepared for this but it was very inconvenient and I lost a whole evenings work restoring instead of doing what I had planned.

  • ITunes LP: "Before I Self Destruct" by 50 Cent

    hey I need help with something. Did anyone get 50 Cent's new album with the itunes lp?My problem is that i went into the package contents of the itunes lp file to take out the 2 movie files to i could put them into the actual movies section of itunes and not in the lp cuz the lp can't be played on my ipod. so my problem is that i moved the files not copied them and renamed them in itunes before i realized i had moved them not copied them. I then copied them and put them in the lp file, but the problem is that i had renamed them, so now when i go to play them in itunes lp, it won't play because its like looking for the file video named something and it can't find it because its renamed.
    So, my question is can you tell me the original name of the file for the "before i self destruct" movie in the itunes lp file?
    the file is under: User> Music> iTunes> iTunes Music> 50 Cent> Before I Self Destruct> Before I Self Destruct - iTunes LP.itlp > "Show Package Contents"> Videos
    Can you please help me with this. thanks

    ok so i just figured it out
    step 1 double click on the HD icon go to the "places" section on the left hand side click on "Music".
    step 2 your iTunes folder should appear click on it keep scrolling down until you see the "iTunes Music" folder all your 50 music should be in separate folders look for the Before I Self Destruct folder in there should be a folder with all the MP3 songs and one that is entitled (Before I Self Destruct iTunes LP)
    step 3 copy that file make sure you put .MP4 at the end of the title once you do that it will automatically break down that file into photos and the original mp4 videos just drag those file into your ipod
    hope this helps.

  • Ipod Self-destruct mode.

    Please correct me if I’m wrong :
    Isn’t Ipod’s supposed to be portable devices?
    Doesn’t that include taking advantage of the Ipod probably everywhere?
    Why Apple reduced the original 4th gen’s volume? To fit into pockets they said.
    Well all of these are Bul….t, have you ever tried to put your fifth gen ipod into your jeans pocket? When you get it out you barely recognise it!!!! FULL of scratches.
    Even when you are using the supplied cover, the scratching generation processes still goes on…
    Come on people are not stupid Apple… we know why you did that… money.. $£ , CASES, polishing clothes, shine giving materials , we are talking a lot o money here.
    An don’t tell me that.. the materials which the ipods are made are so sensitive…come on See laptops, palmtops , mobile phones.. Have you ever seen any one SO sensitive?
    Fact : Apple said we reduced the Ipod’s initial cost… yes you did.. but what is the price??? Cases, accessories? Clothes? Ipod socks pleaseeeee who do you thing you are fooling? We are educated people we know how the world works….
    Some one inside apple said leave to protective layer on… HAHAHA is that you call it, I call it plastic junk… I use this to cover my food in the fridge… please I was expecting some thing more clever of you guys….
    Anyway I could continue to say more and more… but I thing you get the point… I thing that the new ipods should have an expire date…
    And the shelf destruct sequence goes on and on and on and on…
    A not so happy customer.

    There seems to be a common misunderstanding that iPods have to be connected to "authorized" computers. They do not.
    You can use an unlimited number of iPods on an unlimited number of computers. No "authorization" is necessary.

  • This Screen Will Self-Destruct in 5 Seconds!

    Hi;
    For some reason, I have a script in AS3 that presents my movie exactly as I want it to...for 5 seconds, and then, poof! It disappears, leaving a white screen. I thought maybe it was a tween, but I have no 5 or 6 second tweens that could be the culprit. Without burdening you all with the entire script, any ideas as to what this could be?
    TIA,

    Can Acrobat create PDF files that once downloaded - can't be opened after some preset time (48 hours)?

    Hi Edward lkeda,
    I am not very sure of that however as per my knowledge , you can use Adobe send service and provide public link to your users and then after 48 hrs you can delete the file from server and make File-link inaccessible.
    Hope that helps,
    Please revert back for any further query. I will try my best to help you with your problem.

  • Pages Self Destruct

    I viewed a page from a site 'index.asp' in my browser
    iExplore, and after closing the browser window, my code completely
    disappeared! The site has been up and stable for over a week. Where
    did my code go?

    Probably nowhere. Previewing a page couldn't possible erase
    the code.

  • IMac self-destruction

    My iMac keeps on turning itself off - either during startup or just at random as I am working on it! As you may understand, this is quite infuriating and makes working somewhat tricky.
    What can I do?
    Thanks

    A computer turning itself off is usually a sign that the Power Supply Unit is failing and should be replaced immediately. Call Apple, as Barbara suggests, if your serial numbers fall within the known problem list, it will be done for free, if your number is outside those, you can make a good case for repairs anyway, depending on how old your iMac is.
    In any case, have it repaired right away, otherwise it can cause real damage to your Hard Drive.
