Send a mail to content reviewer

Hi,
We have created a criteria workflow in UCM. As pr our requirement, If the user does not review the content till the maximum duration, an email notification will be sent to the content author (owner) and content reviewer. Can any body please tell me how to achieve this.

Go to this site and download the htmlArea Javascripts. Embedd them in your HTML and it will turn your normal HTML Text Area into Rich Text Area. Your real code will include all HTML tags. For example if you select some text and make it bold , the real HTML output will look like YOUR TEXT . So i guess your recipient should be able to receive HTML contents.

Sender Mail Adapter Content Conversion

Hi All,
 I just want to know if we can send a flat file(Rather Than the XML) with content conversion using Mail Adapter. If yes then what are all the possible ways for this.
I have tried but i am sucessful in sending the complete payload as a XML file, but i want the file with the content conversion, so that this should be able to picked by the third party systems.
Will be oblidge if any supported blog or pdf is provided for the same.

Now for the negative items, i want to send them back to business as flat file format
using the mail adapter as attachment. This will help them to process the file as for there
requirement.
Since you need to send an email message you have to use the format mentioned here: (S-UserID required)

Save this file as an XSD in you local system and upload it as an External Definition in your XI server.
Develop MI based on this External Definition (IN, ASYNC)
Create an Interface Mapping with Source as the file containing Negative items and target as the above developed MI
Now you need to develop an XSLT mapping (can use StylusStudio to do it) between the source and target Message Types
This XSLT mapping has to be designed in such a way that it extracts the payload out of the Negative Items message and maps it to the target (Content) field....you need to use CDATA element of XSLT here.
In this mapping itself you can define to what email-id you want to send the message.....
Everything happens on the XI --> Business service side...so it is not the sender channel but is the receiver channel:)
Your XSLT mapping will look something like:

 <Content>
 XSLT CODE
 </Content>
</Mail>
where Mail and Content are the tags in the email message format...the External definition one.....

Attachments send as mail content

I have experienced the following several times:
When sending a mail with word or xls file attached, the files are being send as mail content !
Workaround is to open the attached files, make a bogus change+save and resend--> problem solved.
Very annoying problem ! Doesn't happen always but when it happens it can be reproduced...
Related to 10.5.2? (I don't recall to have the same problem under 10.5.1)
Anyone with simular problems? Solutions?

A workaround may be to use Finder's "Crete Archive..." and send the compressed version.

How can 1 send a mail in which the content is an image file, by JavaMail?

I want to send a mail which has content of a gif file. I don't want an attachment. It seems that the content type "image/gif" is not supported.

When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.

As i said it was all working fine yesterday and for four years previous to that, but now it has just stopped.

Send test mail not working in content server 11g(UCM)

WHo is administering your mail server?
They have obvioulsy placed some restrictions on the server to stop it being abused.
First try using a real valid email address for the Administrator address for the network. Otherwise speak to the sys admin for your SMTP/mail infrastructure and see what needs toi be done.

[php+mysql] send e-mail with custom content

 I'm trying to send an e-mail with custom content.
 I've set the MX send e-mail server behaviour so that it sends an html
 template.
 
 no problem here.
 
 The problem arises when I try to put some variables in the template file.
 Transaction variables work as expected and they will be sent by email.
 But I cannot figure out how to include other standard variable.
 I use variables to translate the page on the fly.
 I have an external file containing all translations and I include it on my
 translated page.
 Then I output the translation using the echo command:
 example:
 Here is the content of the include:

 In the translated page I put the related variable in the body:

How to send a mail as .txt attachment ?

I got a requirement to write code for sending mail in oops.
i have written code for .xls which is working fine. But requirement is to send the mail in the format of txt.
i just only chnge the .xls to .txt where i can see the output properly in sap but problem is that i am unable to get the proper alignment. when i execute the report and see the output in sost i can see the attachment.i am downloading the attachment there only(Our server is not configured to get the mails directly) .So when i open the saved text file on my pc the output is appearing as follows...

Sending e-mails to multiple users at a time

Hi!
I am using weblogic portal 7.0 for personalization. I am using campaign based e-mails for targetting specific customers. I am able to send e-mail through weblogic portal for users when the user logs in. How can I send group e-mails for a specific campaign. For example, if I have to send "virus alert" campaign mail for all our registered customer. I don't want any batch file to be written for this purpose.
I would really appreciate your help.

Hi Deepak,
The favorites are placed in the "userhome" repository. Take a look at KM Content -> userhome -> for each username -> Favorites, there you'll find links with the favorites. You can simply copy & paste those to the other users, so you don't have to login with each one.

Hi,
Im trying out the Developers Toolbox and am trying to figure out if its right for me, and have very basic - beginning MySQL and php skills.
The tutorial at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0_ADDT/help.html?content=ch12_send_email_01.htm l is rather sketchy, when I follow the tutorial on that page:
"The Send E-mail trigger allows the site developer to automatically send an e-mail when a form is submitted. It is an AFTER trigger, and it can be executed after insert/update/delete/custom transactions.
This trigger is accessible from the Application panel, Server Behaviors > + > Developer Toolbox > Send E-mail > Send E-mail."
well, when I try that, I get an error on the page which says:
"There are no insert, update, custom or login or delete transactions on page. Please insert an appropriate transaction first."
OK I am assuming that I need some kind of an html form open and on a page, however where do I start? Its as if the tutorials left out a huge chunk of the instructions. I realize I am no expert but if someone was buying the toolbox for the first time how would one know where to start? Do I need to create a new database table first? What kind of table? Can it be a table that is part of the site database for the shopping cart database that I already have linked to the store? Or does it need to be a seperate - database, table? Or just a php page with the form in it? Or does the form page need to be .html?
Or is the toolkit only for advanced developers with advanced php and MySQL skills and should I not even bother buying it?
Anyway can someone please give me a hint?
All I am trying to do is construct a simple email form for my web site which I have created in Dreamweaver and I need a php script to process the data inserted into the form and send it off to the mail server to forward to the webmaster's email address. honestly said: if sending form data via email is about all you want to achieve, buying ADDT or even trying to learn it would be overkill, as it comes with heaps of features which you´ll probably never need -- in this case investing in a stand alone form-to-email script seems a better solution.
