Send emails like in ta SCOT

hi,
I write some coding to send emails via the class CL_CFX_EMAIL_UTIL and its send_email method.
but then the emails didn´t arrive and were waiting with status "waiting" as I see in ta SCOT.
I send them manually but i am searching for a way to send it direktly in my abap coding after callen the send_email method.
is it possible?

BPEL 11g fault policy action java class not sending email

Hi All,
I am trying to attach fault policy to my bpel process. The fault conditions are working fine but the email part from the action class is not able to send email. The code execute properly , i can't see any error message in the log but I cant access the email in my inbox.
I am able to send email from using email bpel activity and also test work flow notification from em console.
I have used both the java options for sending email like javax.mail and oracle.sdp.messaging .

I got the solution. our email server is sending email to the mail accounts those are in the same domain but for different domains its not able to send the email.
you can try with the email those are created on the same email server.

Mail will not send emails after security update

Hello,
I am having trouble now sending email - like many others aparently. I receive a message when trying to send mail:
- a dialog box requests the authentication password for the smtp server
When entering the correct password it simply repeats. I have had no trouble up to this point. I can log into both accounts via the web using the correct password.
I am having this problem
- on a BT Internet account,
- and my Yahoo account as well,
both of which I use on Mail for business.
Please help?!

Question answered in another string - British Telecom changed outgoing servers for me and things seem to be working again - fault is a mystery though. Sorry I cannot help others in this strange situation.

I would like to know if it is possible to configure SCOT to send an email to the sender when an email ending as error.
Here is the scenario.
1. An email is sent through scot.
2. SCOT process the email and comeback with an error. Example msg 841 (message too long)
3. So, when the email status is an error, an email should be sent to the sender to advise him of the problem.
So, the sender will be able to act quickly and perform corrective action.
Any idea on how to configure this?

Sorry, it is in project plan at the moment. I didn't have time to do it.
Here is some speudo code:
Select all record from SOST table where MSGTY = 'E'   " Message type Error
                                                                 and entry_date = sy-datlo
                                                                 and entry_time is between now and 15 minutes ago.
   select al record from SOOS where corresponding to SOST.
               field SOOS-sndnam correspond to the sender of the message.
    The table SOOD contain the title of the email (Field "OBJDES" )
When you have all those records.
you can send an email to the sender.

Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow merging of Apple ID's. if you were once using [email protected] as your Apple ID then there is no way to link that ID with the new one to avoid losing the previous data under that old ID. You will have to either go back to using the old ID to save the old data or just keep both, which you arfe allowed to do.

SCOT - Send email in ECC 6.0

Hi,
We were using a program to send emails to external vendors in 4.6C. This is done using the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. We changed the SCOT config in ECC 6.0 to use mailhost/port instead of RFC fn.module.
Now we are not able to send email using the program.
Please let me know how to solve this issue.

Function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 has a parameter CONTENTS_BIN = OBJBIN which was assigned data type as SOLIX. This was not compatible with the data type SOLISTI1 used for Function Module SO_CONVERT_CONTENTS_BIN that is called inside this FM. So the data type was changed from SOLIX to SOLISTI1.
We had the same problem and this was the possible remediation we have done.

How to configure SCOT/RFC destination to send email to external addresses

I have an ABAP program which sends out an email to email addresses such as [email protected], i configured SCOT and entered our company exchange server address in the SMTP node, and it works just fine. Problem is the program also needs to send emails to internet mail id's such as [email protected] or [email protected], and here it doesnt work, the email request shows up in SOST as failed saying that the address is unrecognized, we are able to send receive emails from internet id's as well using our email client (outlook), i just have no idea how to get the same to work from my ABAP program, i guess i am missing some BASIS configuration, can anybody help please?

Sending Emails/SCOT in HA Cluster/PRD

HI Experts:
I am hoping for some guidance on this and would really appreciate your prompt replies with this.
I have already successfully configured SAP to send emails from our DEV and QAS systems. There is no scope for recieving emails in our SAP systems.
I just have some doubts on how to properly do this in our HA PRD environment.
I have all the relevant information regarding our SMTP server and SMTP port. I know that the information is correct because it has been working in our DEV and QAS systems.
I had our MS Exchange Admin add the IP addresses to the Exchange server so SAP could use to send emails. She added both the virtual IP and the physical IP for our CI instance only.
I have already activated the SAPConnect in SICF.
I have also updated the following information in SCOT
          Default Domain
          SAPConnect - INT - SMTP
                   Selected Node in Use
                   Mail Host
                   Mail Port
In the past this has worked for us when sending emails from SAP.

The only thing I am not sure about is the following line:
"You have to adjust the profile of the SAP Web Application Server if you want to use the SMTP function. The SAPconnect send job can only be scheduled for servers on which SMTP has been activated. For this reason, you must activate SMTP for all of the SAP systemu2019s application servers."
I am also desribing the error message I get when I try to send a message through tranascation SO01.
In transaction SOST, I get an error with the code 802.
No delivery to email address, as recipient unknown
Message no. XS802
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, after going through this exercise I have figured out that the following works.
The IP addresses of all the physical servers (cluster plus app servers) need to be added to the Exchange Server list. This will allow SAP to send emails using SCOT and MS Exchange Server.
OR
The IP addresses of only the two servers (cluster) has to be added. the job has to be defined in such a way that it has to use one of these two servers to send the emails out.

now iam trying to test in nother system that is DV2 (quality ),where i cant able to send the email .Iam getting a message 'ERROR DURING SEND PROCESS'

i found out how to do this finally!
1) set up google gmail account to forward your emails to (from the [email protected])
2) go to your gmail account
3) go to settings (cog in right hand corner)
4) go to 'accounts and import'
5) go to 'send mail as'
6) click 'Add another email address you own' - add your [email protected] address
7) google will send a verification email with code to that email address.
8) enter code
9) go back to gmail account >'send mail as' and select 'make default'
10) close mac 'mail' program and reopen it.
as long as you have gmail account selected as the primary account in MAIL - mail will now come throught as being sent from that [email protected] address!!

HT2486 I have a group that I use to send emails out to - many have multiple email address that I would like to send to both addresses.

I have a group that i send emails to. One of the contacts has two email address and would like emails sent to both. When i send from the group it only sends to one address. How can i choose to send to both addresses in the contact card?

Have deleted and re-established account a few times now but still the same.
I have actually given up and added gmail account which is working fine.
Sends and receives no problem.

We are not remote at all. Sitting in the fantastic Pavilion Hotel in Phnom Penh. Another couple here having trouble but not bigpond. Hotel staff have tried to help but to no avail.
Giving up and stick with gmail until we get home then start trying to get resolution.
Problem actually existed on a personal wi fi network in Melbourne before we left so I should have tried to resolve it then.

Agree with Zarko. But when you add contact for that external user and allow only that sender, the DL will not receive emails from any other users (internal or external).
If you added any entries under "Accept mesages only from Only sendes in below list" then only the entries added will be able to send mail to that DL whether the check box "Require that all senders are authenticated" is selected or not. You may check the
