Send Requisition once to Success Factors from ECC

Hi - we are implementing Success Factors requisitions with ECC initiating the process via HRP1107, but from then on, we don't want any changes to data in ECC to be sent over to Success Factors - all updates are to occur in SF itself.
Any idea how this is achieved?  From what I can see within debugging, everytime RH_SFI_TRIGGER_JOB_REQUISITION runs, it seems to check for changes against already open records in HRP1107, I obviously don't want this to happen, unless the vacancy is filled that is when everything needs to be closed.
Any advice is appreciated.
cheers
Sean
ps: I thought I was onto a winner with BAdI implementation HRSFI_CH_PTRS, but this only handles change pointers to get onto the HRP1107 table in the first place (well that's what it seems like to me).

I found that I could stop most fields going back over by not filling them (and deleting them if blank) in the Enhancement implementation of  HRSFI_B_CHANGE_MAPRES_OUTBOUND, all except TITLE (which is mandatory).
SF only seems to overwrite fields that are passed to them, and the rest are retained.

  • Transfer purchase requisitions to SRM 5.5 from ECC 6.0

We have an issue with our program BBP_EXTREQ_TRANS to copy our pur requisitions to SRM 5.5 (setup as Extended Classic scenario) but it blocks weekly.  We cannot identify a root cause for this - sometimes there is no error log via tcode SLG1 or most recently, it is "Business partner cannot be changed" on a new purchase requisition.
Does anyone know what this error message is trying to tell us and how to solve this?

    Hi,
Can you please check the ststus of Purchase Requisition in ECC whether it is released or block. This will not allow you to transfer the PR to SRM system.

  • File To Proxy : Handle the response from ECC to send mail without BPM

    Hi,
    Scenario: FILE To Proxy
Requirement: We are receiving xml acknowledgement file from bank with IDoc number and status in SAP PI and the file is used to send the status number, message and and IDoc number to ECC. After request is received in ECC BAPI is executed to update the original status of outbound IDOC.
There would be multiple records in file and PI will send all IDoc acknowledgement to ECC to update the IDoc status.
Issue: Since PI send all records to ecc, if any single IDoc status update is failing in ECC how would it can be communicated to support.
ECC can send success or error response in proxy but how we can use the same in PI to send mail to support. Or is there any better error handling we can go for in such scenario.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

    Hi everyone
    thanks for response.
Interface 1: IDoc (ECC) to File (Bank) --> Done
Interface 2: Acknowledgment File (Bank) to BAPI (ECC) where BAPI will update the status of IDoc sent in first interface.
For Interface 2 : PI will receive file from Bank with multiple records i.e multiple IDoc numbers and their status. PI will invoke proxy to send the IDoc number and status number (eg 16) for all the records together. Now if BAPI fails to update status of any single IDoc in that file how support team will know that the particular record is failed. To handle this error ECC is saying they can send Error and Success back to PI. But the problem is how we can use that response in PI in the same interface to send emails to support team. Bank does not want any response back in this case. This is just to ensure proper error handling since this is bank related interface.
Splitting the interface in two interfaces will definitely help. But is there some way which can be used in same interface and based on error response from ECC mail is triggered.
If any one has better suggestion for such kind of error handling, please post the same.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

  • Settings required to send ROEMPROACT2 XML from ECC to SNC

    Hi All,
Can anyone explain the config that will be required on ECC / PI / SNC to send ROEMPROACT2 XML from ECC side and recevie the PAN XML successfully on the SNC side.
I already went through this link : Using ROEMPROACT2 but couldnt understand.
Also what transaction to use to check if the XML has been sent out successfully from the ECC system (Like we use WE05 for the Idocs)
    Thanks,
    Bharath

    Hi Bharath,
In ECC you need to maintained the PI logical system in transaction SXMB_ADMIN.
In PI you need to mapped XML mapping <ECCLogical_system>|ProductActivtyNotification_Out|<SNC_Logical_System>
In SNC you need to maintain ProductActivityNotification_In XML configuration(By default this setting will be there) if it is not maintained then:
Go to SPRO>Supply Network Collaboration>Basic Settings>Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages>Process Types for Inbound Messages-->Assign Inbound XML Messages to Default Process Types
    XML Message=ProductActivityNotification_Inbound
    Process type=Supplier Collaboration.
Go to transaction code SXMB_MONI or SXI_MONITOR to check XML message in ECC.

  • Partner profile to send Idoc to PI 7.4 system from ECC

    Dear Experts ,
Do we need a partner profile to send Idoc to PI 7.4 system from ECC.
or Just Port on TRFC is enough ..?
if i need to create a Partner profile ...how to define a logical system and how Assign Logical System to Client... when there is no client for JAVA only PI system ..?
    thanks
    Shakif

    Hi Mohamed,
You need to create a tRFC port on sending ECC system. The RFC destination selected in this port os the one created for IDOC transfer.
Also you need a logical system, use client 000, i.e. PI1CLNT000.
At last you have to create a partner profile to define the IDOC type used.

  • Unable to transfer Purchase Requisition from ECC to EBP

    Dear Friends.
We are unable to transfer PR from ECC to EBP. System issue stop message in SLG1 transaction for object BBP_EXTREQ
Stop Message Type: Document type for determined backend system is missing.
Warning Message Type: Grant 1111 does not exist.
As per configuration guide we have performed following setting in EBP client
    1. We have created organization unit “Entry Channel” under company code.
    2. Under Entry Channel we create Local Purchasing Organization.
    3. Under Loc Purchasing Org we created Local Purchasing Group with
        - attribute BUK as backend company code
        - attribute BSA as backend PR type (NB)
        - this group is responsible for Entry channel procurement (setting in Function tab)
    4. Under Loc Purchasing Group we assigned RFC user which is same defined as RFC user in both EBP and ECC client.
        - attribute DP_PROC_TY defined as backend ECC PO type (NB)
    5. Attribute CUR define for entry Channel.
    6. Remote connection established with the same user defined under Organization Unit

  • Error to send a IDOC from ECC to SUS

    Hi,
I am trying to connect to SAP SUS System using HTTP adapter using PI 7.0.The scenario is
ECC ->PI->SAP SRM. I have configured HTTP adapter as the receiver with addressing type as HTTP Destination. I have created a RFC destination of type H pointing to SAP SUS on PI. I have encountered the following error after executing the scenario.

I have configured HTTP receiver with Addressing type HTTP Destination and configured the HTTP destination field with RFC destination(Connection Type H) created on PI. Here my source and target structures are same i.e DELVRY03. I have triggered DELVRY03 idoc from ECC and i am expecting same xml to be sent to SAP SUS but stuck up with the above mentioned error.
Someone know how fix this problem?
    Tks,
    Erik

    HI,
As per my understanding to your scenario, You want to send one IDoc from ECC to SAP SUS system using SAP PI.
So i hope you must have configured on all the steps required to Send one IDoc to PI syste, Secondly, are you using any Standard interface in PI to send data to SAP SUS system? If yes, you need to create an HTTP Destination for that system and then you have to create XI Receiver Adapter with that HTTP destination to post incoming message to SAP SUS system.
Your error suggests you are using Plain HTTP adapter to post data to SAP SUS, which is in my understanding is incorrect.

    Hi PI Guru's
Please advise if there is any documentation to send the PR's from ECC to SRM using PI.
If not PRs in general if need to exchange any documents from ECC6.0 to/from SRM using PI.
Can we use ABAP proxys or IDOCs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Purchase Requisition transfer from ECC to SRM via XI

    Experts,
Please let me know if you have any information on  the following issue:
Environment : SRM 7.0,  ECC ep4,  Extended Classic scenario
The purchase requisitions have been created in ECC and released. I believe in SRM 7.0  the PR's get automatically transferred to  SRM Sourcing cockpit via XI from ECC.
One PR was pushed manually from SMQ1(Outbound queue ) in  ECC and this failed due to a login issue in XI.
The XI was using the interface  PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest.
    My question is
    1. When the PR is released in ECC, where to check if the PR is pushed to XI. Do we need to schedule a job? When I checked SMQ1 (outbound queue, the queues are empty)
    2. Do we need to define the partner profile in ECC for XI in We20. If so, then what message types to use for the  IDocs going from ECC to XI.
    2. Do we need to configure the interface PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest in XI to map the incoming PR from ECC.
    3. In transaction SXMB_moni in XI  I am not able to pull the  XML messages. What options options do I need to
set to pull the messages that errored out.
    Thanks,
    Scott.

    Hi All,
Hope this helps you for XI configuration
       Importing Business Scenarios for Sourcing
In this section, you transfer the business scenario Strategic Sourcing from the SAP Integration Repository, generate it, and activate it.
    Prerequisites
    You have:
Defined the business systems for SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) and SAP ERP in the SAP System Landscape Directory. For more information about SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI), see the SAP Marketplace
Imported the SAP NetWeaver PI content for SAP SRM into the SAP Integration Repository.
    Procedure
Log on to the SAP Netweaver PI system.
    Choose Integration Builder: Configuration.
In the left pane, select the Objects tab.
Choose  Service Without Partner  Business System .
Right-click to display the context menu and choose  Business Systems  Assign Business System . This opens the wizard.
Choose Continue. The wizard guides you through the required steps.
Create the business system for both SAP SRM and ERP (you can bypass this step if the business system is already setup).
    Select a business system.
You can create communication channels either manually or automatically. You can create them automatically here. In this case, the systems are applied from the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). Channels must be complete in terms of URLs and authentication information.
Choose Finish, and then choose Close.
    11. On the main screen, choose  Tools  Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository . This opens a wizard.
Choose Name using input help SE_Sourcing_Enhancements
Choose Continue. The scenario name is SE_Sourcing_Enhancements.
Choose Finish and then choose Close. The Business Scenario Configurator opens automatically.
    Choose Component View.
The Select Component View window opens.
    Choose Apply.
Choose Assign Services. The Assign Services to Application Component window opens.
Press F4 to retrieve the available services.
    Choose Assign.
Select the related service and choose OK.
Assign a business service to all roles.
    Choose Configure Connections.
Select the connections from the Service Assignment tab.
Press F4 in the Communication Channel field.
Select a communication channel. This channel must be of type XI.
    Note
If the systems are applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, the Integration Builder automatically creates the communication channels.
If the systems are not applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, you create communication channels manually. To do this choose an existing service and then Communication Channel using context menu New. You must assign a communication channel for each connection.
    End of the note.
Choose OK and then choose Apply.
Choose Generate to open the Create Configuration Objects window.
Choose Simulation, then Generate, then mark all in the list Scope of Generation.
Choose Start to generate a log. Check the log for errors and save it if required.
In the Close Integration Scenario screen, choose Apply.
In the left pane, select the Scenarios tab; your scenario has been added.
In the left pane, select the Change List tab.
    Expand the Standard Change List.
Right click on the scenario name SE_Sourcing_Enhancements and choose Activate.

  • Pushing Purchase Requisition from ECC to SRM via XI  in PPS

    Dear Experts,
    Environment SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 ep4 and PPS 33.0
We are having an issue with pushing the Purchase Requisitions from ECC to SRM 7.0 via XI  using the SOA.                              There is an Application error on the receiving side in SRM (Faulty exchange Data)  when pushing the PR from XI to SRM using the inbound interface Purchasing RequestERPSourcing_In.                                                                                The outbound interface from ECC to Xi PurchasingRequest_ERPSourcing_Out is working fine without any errors.
Please let me know if any one has similiar issues in a PPS public sector implementation and any resolutions?
Thanks in advance for the help,
    Scott

    HI ,
If you have the xml in srm having status "Transfer to external application" then you can use the Forward Error Handling (FEH) concept in SOA. If you have done the required configuration for FEH and use transaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2 in SRM you will be able to see the actual error why xml is failing. Also rememeber to change the value for field Mode of postprocessing Order to 0 in the screen you get after running tranaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2
To configure FEH refer note: 1270081
    Hope this helps.

  • Purchase Requisition converted to Purchase Order in ECC from APO - PPDS

    Hi All:
When I check the conversion indicator of a PR in APO and save, it initiates the trigger to convert the PR to PO and everything works fine.  When I check the invoice tab of the PO in ECC, the tax code is blank.  But when I try to convert another PR to PO in ECC using ME21N or ME21, the tax code entry becomes mandatory.  Question is,  where in APO do you set to trigger the transaction and the ID?  Pl. help?
    Thanks
    Narayanan

    Hi Narayanan,
I think when you convert Preqs to POs thru RRP7, POs are created in ECC thru default transaction ME21 or ME21N. Since you are able to create Purchase Orders, nothing is required on APO side. The necessary information passed from APO to ECC thru IM of purchase orders is start and end date, material, supplying and destination plant. All other information is selected from ECC customizations (SPRO) and material master in ECC.
Please check SPRO in ECC and material master (tax, Accounting tabs) with MM / accounts consultant or user. Alternatively, you can update POs using z code.

  • IDOC is successfully triggered from SAP ECC

    hi,
IDOC has been Trigerred from ECC Sucssesfully and the status is 03, but it not reached in PI, what will be the error, please do the needful at the earliest.
Share some more errors where i can stuck with idoc when doing IDOC to File scenario.
    Nissi

    Hi
    Please check the following options:
    1. In SM 58 are you getting any error message, if yes analyse it and correct.Delete the entry and try triggering the IDOC again.
2.Check the connection test  RFC destination for PI maintained in SAP system, check if the User ID maintained there is not locked
,try resetting the pwd .RFC connection works even if the user is locked.
    3. I think you can also check if correct port is maintained in PI IDX1 and also try loading metadata again in PI  IDX2.
    4. Check with sap guys if they have written  Commit in the IDOC program.

  • How to send acknowledgement containing KUNNR from ECC to PI to MDM

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario of syndicating customer/vendor record from MDM system to ECC system using PI. File to IDOC. Since Customer and Vendor number ranges are internal to ECC system, after posting the customer and vendor record, we need to get the KUNNR or LIFNR back to MDM so that later updates using the key can be issued.
For Posting we have used DEBMDM in MDM output and mapped it to ADRMAS and DEBMAS for Customers and CREMDM for vendor outbound and mapped it to ADRMAS and CREMAS.
Now I want to understand what would be the best way to get the Customer or Vendor number back in MDM?
    Using ALEAUD? Enhancing it?
or using some event mechanism which will post the DEBMAS/CREMAS back from ECC to PI?
    Thanks in anticipation.
