Send to colour disabled???

Hi Guys
Looking for suggestions
upgraded to Lion last week but haven't really needed to use colour since then. But know I have a job that requires it.
I have cut the job as per usuall with no issues and if anything since the system software upgrade I have found my MBP to be a little more responsive however,
I have gone to send my project to colour and it is greyed out. I can send to everything else but not colour. There are no media anomalies. I have worked with this media format for ages now and never had any problems. I did a job 2 weeks a go that included the same media and workflow with no issues.
3 things have changed....
I have installed Lion, I have installed Motion 5 and I have installed Compressor 4.
I have not, at this stage, installed FCPX
Any suggestions??
At this point I am going to try and export an edl from FCP and go direct into colour with that and just point to the media that way. Not sure wether it will send back to FCP though.

Hi Michael,
Try the below and let us know your observations.
For testing purpose, if you add a user to administrator group , does the 'send to' option get enabled for this user:?
Also please verify if the user is not part of any group for which , send to is denied in Cmc->applications->BI Launchpad

Just think that IDOC adapter as a sender, that means, you are getting source file (IDOC) from R/3 (SAP) system definitely. And XI is also and SAP system. As both are SAP systems, we already have a way of establishing the connection between SAP systems, which is ALE configuration. Using which, you can easily transfer IDOC from R/3 to XI.
Also, you might know that IDOC and HTTP adapters reside on ABAP stack. When the R/3 and XI configuration settings are done, XI can receive the IDOC sent by R/3, directly to Integration Engine instead of Adapter Engine. If the file initially reaches to Adapter Engine, then the details about sender application are necessary, that means the Sender Agreement. But in this case, you don't even need the Sender Agreement.
I hope you understand why the IDOC sender button is disabled and sender agreement is not necessary.

Unable to send message by disabling imessage on iphone5

Hi, I am having below prob with my iphone5. ios 8.0.2
I am unable to send messages to other iphone contacts when having:
- wifi disabled
- mobile data disabled
- imessage disabled.
Message is not delivered through normal carrier either.

The calling is handled through Verizon but iMessages are handled through Apple.
In the settings turn on SMS when iMessage is not available and see if you can send ok.
First thing you can try is hold down the Home Button and the Power Button at the same time until you see the little white apple. Then release both buttons and let the device reset. You do not lose any apps or settings when doing this.

Send Timesheet Locked/Disabled for Resource

A resource's timesheet has been disabled/locked in the periods that he's missed. He did not have this issue about two weeks ago submitting missed timesheets. As of today, the send timesheet button is disabled/greyed out. The send status however is available.
I tried deleting/recreating timesheet but still does not work on all of them. Please note that when I recreate the timesheet it automatically adds the 40 hours for the week, is that normal? I have checked and periods are OPEN for these weeks. I am running
out of ideas of why this is causing his timesheets to not send. A while back, he had an error on a timesheet that I recently rejected and deleted/recreated if that provides any hints.

Seems this is bug in MSPS 2013, you can Recall TS to
Identify
Assignment rejected task
by process status as "Rejected" and the it's cells in the Task Entry
grid would be read-only, As temporary workaround you can select that task and
click on “Remove Task” from option Ribbon.
Now you would be able to submit timesheet without any error.

Best practice to send report to disabled users

Few users are not on CRM yet. They are setup as deactivated users and user lookup on the Account is a look-up to their user record. They would like a to get an automated weekly email/report
showing the activity (appointments, email, etc.) scheduled for the upcoming week for each of their accounts (where they are the user on the Account)
Here the option we thought of. Can you think of others that are relatively simple to develop?
Give them access to CRM and develop a Dashboard
Dynamic worksheet they can save to their desktop
Scheduled report?   can I setup a report schedule to be sent to the user?

    The simplest option is option 1. If they need to access the account in CRM, they would need access to the system. It would be easier and it will not cause any other major customisations etc.
    As the users are disabled users, other 2 options are not valid options.

Why is 'send' disabled for sending a message on my iPod touch?

I can receive messages, browse the net, connect to iTunes so there is nothing wrong with my connection settings. I also have the latest iOS installed. I can type a response to a message, but can't send because the send button is disabled.

This is so that I can represent different pieces of data on my webpage tables in different colours providing status depending on the user request.

Why is my send button disabled when emailing through contacts?

I currently have an iPhone6, and when I go through my contacts list and select a contact to send an email to, the "send" button is disabled (gray). I prefer this method of contacting clients.
That being said, when I go through the actual mail application, it works just fine.
Thoughts?

That's a bug. The "To" address appears filled in but Mail doesn't think it is there So it won't activate the Send button.

Send Button Disabled

Hi,
My OSX (10.5.5) Mail (3.5) recently stopped working with GMail.
Specfically the "Send" button is disabled. I have checked my settings and I have checked the Connection Doctor. Both look fine... The Connetion Doctor can successfully log into the SMTP server.
Does anyone know how to get Mail to send again?

Do you mean the Send button is gray when you say "disabled"? If so, that normally means you do not actually have a SMTP selected for that account, even though one may be in the list of available SMTP servers. In Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information, is there the name of the desired SMTP in the box for Outgoing Server, and have you selected to use that server only?

I'm not able to send emails with mail.ru. Receiving and reading is not a problem. When I create a email with mail.ru its not possible to send it although its stored in my mail.ru account as "still to be send". What can it be??

I noticed the buttons for sending change colour when used but they don't perform. What it is?

Firewall is not working: The only way to access this forum is disabling it!

Using Leopard Server 10.5.2:
First: If I want to check this discussion forum, If I have enabled the firewall I can´t reach this pages or post it. If I disable the firewall then I can access the Apple discussions forum and post here!
Second: In firewall If I want to check (read-send) mail via entourage in this server. I can not connect to the servers. I enabled all the ports that says SSL, email,mail,etc, but I can not connect to the SSL servers to check email. The only way to red-send email is disabling the firewall!
The next one is realated to SAFARI:
Third: If I open Safari and I try to open Hotmail.I can not access Hotmail via Safari. trying to opening that site is impossible. a link in hotmail is detected with an internal address of 10.x.x.x. (which my computer does not have). Then the only way that I have to access hotmail via Safari is disabling the firewall, then the page is opened!
Fourth: I can not read the hotmail mails inside entourage. .. again, the only way to read and send mails from hotmail in entourage is by disabling the firewall!!!

Can't send saved Drafts

Since updating to iOS 5.x I have been unable to Send, Save or Delete "saved Drafts". When I select a Draft the dialog window opens and I can edit the Draft, but both the Cancel and Send buttons are disabled. I can not close the dialog window. If I quit and re-run Mail the dialog window is still open and the Cancel and Send buttons are still disabled. If I run a second app, double-click the iPad Home button, press and hold the Mail icon until the "-" symbol appears, and use that to quit Mail, the dialog still appears when I run Mail, but both the Cancel and Save buttons are now functional. If I power the iPad off completely, restart it and run Mail, the dialog window does not appear and Mail works normally (save for the Drafts issue). All thoughts and advice welcome!

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

Outlook 2010 iCloud Add-In causes emails not to send

I just started using iCloud to migrate my Outlook 2010 contacts and calendar to iCloud and then to my iPhone 5s.
There's an intermittent problem (although I can now make it happen, so not so intermittent anymore) where my emails will not send unless I disable the iCloud Add-In. They appear as Drafts (not italicized in my Outbox) and will not send until I disable the iCloud Add-In, and go back into them and click 'Send' again.
Disabling my iCloud Add-In means that my Contacts and Calendar do not update to iCloud (and thus not to my phone either), so I have to be careful to remember to enable the iCloud Add-In immediately after getting my emails sent.
Does anyone have this problem and/or a fix for it?

iTunes 11.1.4.62 freezes while syncing with Outlook
(Similar issues can hit iTunes and the iCloud machinery, because they both use files from Apple Application Support ... hence the quick check of your situation over here.)

Won't send problem Report

I've been having a problem for about a month now when anything quits unexpectidly it builds the report for apple then when I click send to apple it says report not sent try again later. Any clues on how I might be able to fix this?

A common problem, & even if you could send it, Apple doesn't want it & will do nothing but trash the report.
I'd ignore the Send Report or disable the Reporter...
