Sending contact from 6100 to Outlook2003

Maybe it's a simple issue but I didn't find any solution.
I'm setting PC Sync - advance - Directions tab - Only update mobile phone data to Microsoft Outlook.
Everything is fine, I mean when I set both directions, but now, I just want to send my contact from phone to outlook.
When I syncronize the program read my 300 contacts but at the end of process none of them is added.
What's wrong.
Im using WindowsXP, Olk2003. Tks.

so how many contatcs you have now in Outlook and how many in phone, I did not understand ?

Hello,
I'm using Palm Centro (unlocked). I was trying to send a contact, and I found no option to send it with SMS. It automatically sent through MMS. I'm living in Indonesia, and MMS is not really a fashion. Very few of us activated this feature, and some others are still using non-MMS supported phones.
Is it possible to send contact from my Centro to others with SMS, without having to copy and paste the number manually?
Oh, and while I'm at it, is there a keyboard shortcut to highlight text on the screen without using the stylus or without touching the screen? (like pressing shift+arrow in windows).

Hi.. Welcome to the Palm forums. If you are trying to send a contact I am not seeing a way to send it via sms. But if you go into the contact and then using the menu key, bottom right hand corner of the keyboard next to ALT, you will find a send option. I show you can send by bluetooth or email. I would think email is the way you will want to send it.

My JVC KW-NT30HD is capable of importing my contacts, and in fact has a set procedure. When I get to the step that involves the phone it says see phone instructions. Other than marking share contacts under blue tooth, is there a way to push it to the stereo?

This is under the control of the car system, it must request the contacts from the phone. Normally car systems (and good BT headsets) have a function for doing this. You will need to pair the car with the iPhone first, if you haven't already.

what you are being asked to do would be a complex task for an experienced DBA, which, judging by the way you have asked the questions, you are not, no offence intended.
As far as I can see you have three options.
1. Hire a consultant/contractor with the necessary skills to perform the tasks.
2. Gain several years experience as an Oracle DBA, including Apex, backup and recovery and disaster recovery skills.
3. Look for a new job.
Sorry to sound facetious, but it is a ridiculous task you have been given assuming the skill and knowledge level you are coming from. Assuming you have not misrepresented yourself to your employer, this is not your fault and I think you need to seriously push back on your boss if possible.

How to send contacts from 6230 to N70?

I can send my contacts list from my 6230 to PC Suite but can seem to transfer them onto my new phone (N70).
I'm not technically-minded so please help me. Am I really going to have to type each one into my new phone individually?

You should be able to send via bluetooth - pair the two phones and set as authorised so you don't have to accept each time.
I can't remember the exact terminology (as my gf broke my 6230 ) but go into the contact - Options - Send Business Card - Via Bluetooth.
That's how I did it from the 6230 when I upgraded from it.

On your iPhone go to Settings > iCloud.
Is your iCloud account set up there?
If so, is Contacts turned on for over the air syncing?

The iPhone's bluetooth is only available for headsets at the moment. Downside obviously, but try to sync with Microsoft Outlook on your computer if you have it. Another option is the ZYB web application.

Contacts from Treo to Pearl

Is it possible to send contacts from Treo to BB Pearl using Bluetooth? I am able to connect the devices but I get a message that says "Unable to send to:" Is there maybe something I am missing?

i dont know if other carriers have the same ability with there universal transfer machines or not, however I do know that U.S. Cellular's U.M.E. will transfer from a treo to a pearl..and there is never any charge for that, so if you have a local us.cellular store, feel free to stop in there and get that transfered for free. as far as bluetoothing them across, their styles of supported bluetooth data are different aswell as their 'business cards' therefore, bluetoothing cards from your treo device to your blackberry device are unlikely.

No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents".

E mail. I can not send email to a contact from my list. When I hit their email address, the new message box comes up but the send icon is not highlighted and I can not send it. Why? How do I fix it. Happens on both I pad Air 2 and I Phone 5

I no longer can send iMessages from my iPhone (iOS 6.0.1) to one of my contacts.

Started about a week ago. I can send them from my Mac, but not my phone. Other iPhone users are receiving iMessages from me. Just not this one person. I also note that in my contact info for her on my phone, I cannot select iPhone as her mobile device. Just "mobile". She has an iPhone. Very puzzled as to why this is occurring now. Any thoughts?

Try this. I don't know I it will help but it solved a similar issue I had a while back. In the messages conversation with this person tap the time at the top of your screen to scroll to the top of the page and tap Contact. Are the messages being sent to the phone number or the email?
In my situation they where being sent to their actual email account and therefore where not received. This was the fix
From the contact of this person scroll down and tap Send Message then select the phone number from the options that pop up. Send a message and then check the Message app. In my situation that created a second conversation with that person which went to their phone number. I delete the old conversation so as I didn't get confused.
Long winded, I know. Not an easy thing to explain. Hope that helps

Sending Texts from My Verizon - my Contacts do not appear

I want to use the "Messaging - Send Text" feature of the My Verizon website. I can login, select "Messaging - Send Text" and the Send Text options display. One of them is Contacts. It displays 6 contacts; for some reason, only my immediate family members are displayed. On my phone and in "Messaging - Contacts" I have at least 100 contacts.
How come my 100+ Contacts do not appear in the "Messaging - Send Text" area of My Verizon? Thanks for any comments!

The contacts that you see displayed are the people you have sent messages to from the My Verizon web site. Your contacts do not automatically sync to the web site, you have to enter the contact information and then select save contact. Since there are three different ways to send messages from the site, you are able to customize your contacts. I have provided some additional information below for your review:

Bug: Failure to Send emails from Contacts after 8.2 update

After updating to iOS 8.2 sending emails from Contacts may fail. I can consistently get the following failure on multiple iPad/iPhone devices:
Open Contacts, select any contact with a valid email address field, select the email address, and a “New Message” window will open. Type in any subject and the “Send” text will turn blue – this is as it should be. Select “Cancel”, “Delete Draft”.
Return to Contacts. Once again, select any contact with a valid email address field, select the email address, and a “New Message” window will open. Enter any “Subject” text. The “Send” text will never turn blue and you will never be able to send an email from the Contacts.
The only way to once again send an email from Contacts is to end the email app.
This problem did not occur before iOS 8.2.

I can´t send any email directly from Contacts in My Microsoft Outlook 2010 Swedish 32 bit version (Computer has Windows 7 professional 64 bit Swedish system).
When I type the email address directly in the field all functions well.
When I take the mailaddress from Contact its looks like:
Firstname surename ([email protected])
I Think it has the wrong format
Earlier the adress from Contacts was
Firstname Surename <[email protected]>
How can I make the Contacts addressbok back to the earlier format?
I hope someone has an answer to my problem!

Hi,
Any symptoms when you can't send emails from Contacts? Any error message?
Based on my research, Firstname Surname <[email protected]> is specific to the contacts in Global Address List (GAL), while for other contacts in Outlook Address Book, it displays as Firstname surname ([email protected]).
If a contact is stored in both GAL and Outlook Address Book, it follows the rule in GAL which means it displays as Firstname Surname <[email protected]>.
