when i printing reports then some time during printing of reports there is some problem that it will hang the whole application ..and on the left upper corner of the application meesage("Server Activity ") occurs and i have to prees ctr+alt+del to close the whole application and the i again open that application..when this occure frequentlly then it become a headchae
plz help me how to handle it

I also made entry in form_path and i am creating new form using template.fmb in oracle 10g. Just i opened that template.fmb and changing the name to xxx.fmb and i am compiling and running that xxx.fmb. While i am running getting error.

Report Server Activation Error

Hi,
In a bit of a spot, looking for some assistance.
I had a Subsite called /web1 (with multiple subwebs) stemming off the root site collection. Thinking it was a great idea at the time to turn that sub site into it's own site collection with its own content DB, I inadvertantly created a site collection
in CA with the same URL. This of course failed and promptly took out the existing Sub Site.
After a lot of cafuffle, I finally managed to remove the sub site via powershell, create a site collection, restore the site into it from a backup etc etc.
All seems to be working happily, except for Reporting services, which, when I try to activate it on the root site collection, ULS throws an error saying it cannot find /web1/subsite1
ULS Errors are:
There is no Web named "/web1/subsite1".
Possible mismatch between the reported error with code = 0x81070504 and message: "There is no Web named "/web1/subsite1"." and the returned error with code 0x80070002.

For your issue, please take steps as below:
Check the recycle bin. If the sub site exists, delete it.
Run the following console command for deleting the sub site:
stsadm -o deleteweb
-url <URL name>
-force
-webid <Web ID> (ID Comes from EnumAllWebs)
-databasename <database name>
-databaseserver <database server name>

Windows Server 2008 R2 - Trial Version Activation Error

I downloaded a trial of Windows Server 2008 R2 a few months ago. I may have loaded the ISO onto another PC for testing, but the testing is no longer active. However, I am testing a new environment where I need to load Server 2008 R2 onto
2 different servers for testing, before I activate. I will be purchasing keys once my lab is fully functioning if needed. One Virtual Machine will be moved to a server which will be running Server 2012 R2 Datacenter in the future.
Back to the problem at hand. When I try to Activate my Server 2008 R2 copy to get 180 days trial started, it errors out with 0xC004F074. We don't use a KMS Server, and anything I can find seems to refer to this as an error. I just need
to activate a trial version.

Regarding the current issue, please understand this error code appears only during the time of activation when the Software Licensing Service reports that it cannot activate the product key
since the Key Management Service cannot be contacted. Please follow the steps below to activate the machine again to see if it works.
1) Open cmd(command prompt) with administrator rights
2) Type slmgr.vbs –ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (x should be replaced by your 25 digit product key)
3) Hit enter
4) Type slmgr.vbs –ato (This will change the product key)
5) Hit enter

Adobe DRM Activator error (server code 24)

I updated to the most recent version of digital editions, but uninstalled it due to the fact that it does not support Palm.
I reinstalled the old version of Adobe Reader 7.0. All of my ebooks show up, but when I try to transfer my ebooks to my Palm I receive an error message stating:
Your Adobe software cannot be activated.
A bad session ID was used in the header.
Eden Info: (0x18) A bad session ID was used in the header.
Soap Info: Client: A A bad session ID was used in the header.
Adobe DRM Activator error (server code 24).
Fault location: 12
Contact customer support.
The knowledge base states that Adobe is aware of this issue and I have to contact support.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times but I had the same error message.
I have open two open web cases (#0180655783 on 1/8/09 and #0201592044 on 12/22/09). They both state: "open pending response from Adobe", but I can't get a response (although my case do note that they have been updated???).
When I contacted Adobe via phone they informed me that I could only get assistance by opening a web case. I was assured that I would get a response within 24 Hours! What a bunch of crap!
I really have to have access to my ebooks. I have quite a lot of money invested in books that I cannot access. Some of them I need
for school.

I get the following error when applying the upload function

"dwzUpload/DefineVariable.asp" location is:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\sitename\dwzUpload.
So it's located in the site root, inside the dwzUpload
folder.
I am currently running the site on my local machine with
IIS7.
I don't get an error if I remove the 'upload' function on the
site, but the site needs to offer upload of image files. Not sure
where to go to from here.

Data Collection Set 'Server Activity' Failure Waiting on a kernel object(s) failed. Inner Error ------------------ The handle is invalid.

All of the system data collection sets have been running for 6+ months without any issues, couple of weeks ago the 'Server Activity' collection set failed to restart after a planned maintenance server reboot.
When attempting to manually start the collection set it indicates "success", but after refreshing the collection set it showing as stopped. Viewing the logs for the Data Collection (Server Activity) I am getting the message:
Waiting on a kernel object(s) failed. Inner Error ------------------>
The handle is invalid.
After some research into this really unhelpful message I came across one posting where this error has been found to occur in SP1. We are running SP2 which include the fix so this shouldn't be the problem (ref http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/585210/sql-server-2008-data-collection-execmasterpackage-timeout).
To see more detail on the root cause of the error I enabled the additional tracing for data collection (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlagent/archive/2011/07/13/enabling-additional-tracing-for-data-collector.aspx). This provided an exception stack which indicated
that the issue was thrown to what looks like an existing file, referring to a location (e:\) which doesn't exist in our system.

Thanks for the pointer Eileen, problem solved.
Can't believe I missed it, but after reading the last section on system hangs it occurred to me that I hadn't checked that all dcexec.exe processes were killed when I disable the data collection service.
For anyone else experiencing this issue I identified the dcexec.exe processes using the following in cmd line:
TASKLIST /SVC /FI "IMAGENAME EQ DCEXEC.EXE"
On the default setup of the data collection there should be two dcexec.exe processes constantly running, one for "Server Activity" and another for "Query Statistics". On our server there were five running with the data collection disabled.
After killing all of the processes and restarting the data collection problem solved!!
Still need to understand why the processes didn't shut down cleanly when the server was restarted, but at least I know where to look now.

You should generate the export data source for 0FIAP_O03 again, if there is still a problem please goto
RSA1 > SOURCE SYSTEMS > and right click on the relevant source system, find the datamart application component and
right click on this to replicate the datasource.

Hyper-V host fails with "RPC Server unavailable" error when I try to promote Windows Server in virtual machine to a domain controller

When I open AD DS configuration window (“promote this server to a domain controller”) many services and programs on my host (include Hyper-V, RRAS & Server Manager) fails with RPC Server unavailable error.

There wasn't any configuration information, ipconfig /all, network setup, etc. So it's difficult to tell.
More importantly, are you trying to promote the host server? If yes, that is not advised, for one, because it's a Hyper-V server, (not suggested at all), and two, RRAS is installed. RRAS is problematic with any domain controller because it turns it into
a multihomed domain controller.

I don't know how your networking is setup, whether there are multiple NICs on the host server, if they are teamed, if you have the host interface set to allow the operating system to share administration, or if there are separate interfaces for each. Can
the host OS ping/communicate with the DC virtual machine?
If there are more than one NIC, you have the choice to team the NICs and share the Teamed NICs for the Hyper-V OS and the VMs, or keep them separate where one is devoted for the Hyper-V OS, and one for the VMs.

How i fix activation error screen how i can fix that?

how i can fix a gray activation error screen and no SIM card is something i can do to baypass this issue?

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

Windows Server Active Directory services

Hi,
We have installed Windows server 2008 R2 as a primary domain controller.
the domain controller "xxxxxxx" (2008R2 SP1) gets freeze intermittently and at the time of issue we are not able to ping and take RDP session of this server from any other server.In the
event log : 4015
The DNS server has encountered a critical error from the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly. The extended error debug information (which may be empty) is "". The event data contains the error.
Kindly advice how to resolve this issue.

Could you check your servers hdd, nic and another services pls. Also this error (4015) occur DC is not respond requests
from the DNS Server.
Check your DNS functionality (Dcdiag /test:DNS) and refer these
articles please.

HTTP Communication and View activation error

hi all,
We are using CRM WebUI. We have Product Master screens. In developement environment everything works fine. whee we migrated it to consolidation env i am getting following error.
Not able to understand this error. I get the HTTP Communication error ot the product search page and the Target view activation error when in product creation screen.
Please help!!

Hello,
a HTTP error of 404 means NOT FOUND.
Maybe you can have a look in the TX SICF if the BSP component is activated. Just search for the service = BSP application name.

Activation Error - Access Denied when activating windows 2008 R2

I have a Windows 2008 R2 server, which was activate, now suddenly its giving an activation required message, when I try to apply my lic. key it gives an error

I want the error to be resolved.

Lack of permission
Missing registry entries
