Service Product Replication Error

Dear friends,
1) We create a Service Order with a third-party service item, which is correctly configured to create a Purchase Requisition in ECC. The configuration works fine, if the item has an alphanumeric ID, i.e. at least one character is found in its ID. It does not work with the error message u201CNot possible to determine a consumption accountu201D if we use an item with a purely numeric ID. This has been tested with various products.
2) We create a billable Service Confirmation, which is correctly configured to create a Debit Memo Request (DMR) in ECC. The
configuration works fine, if the item has an alphanumeric ID, i.e. at least one character is found in its ID. It does not work with the error message u201CMaterial 30000003 is not defined for sales org.XXXX, distr.chan.XX, language ENu201D if we use an item with a purely numeric ID. This has been tested with various products.
The master data and master data replication settings in CRM and ECC are definitely ok.
In relation to the error related to the fact that no purchase req can be created, please note the following: I checked the Internal Orders in ECC, that were created based on the CRM Service Orders: the internal order with an alphanumeric product is ok, whilst the internal order with the numeric product shows leading zeros for the Product ID. We strongly assume this causes the error that no consumption account could be determined.
Can you please let me know if any of you faced this problem and help me finding a solution.
Thanks & Regards,
Aditya.

Hi,
There are prerequisites to be maintained in CRM and ERP for CRM contract to be replicated in ERP as a debit memo.
Please find the details in the below link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/65/9c4d3bcf95926ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm
In your case I assume Debit memo is not being created for the Service product and giveing error "Product Cannot be recorded in ECC", because system is finding the same product in ECC as configurable material type (Service product in CRM, config material in ECC).
As per the prerequisite Synchronization of master data (SAP CRM and SAP ERP) should be maintained
All business partners used in SAP CRM transaction documents also exist in SAP ERP.
Service products in SAP CRM exist as materials in SAP ERP.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Chethan

  • Service product replication for test and developement system

    Hi Experts,
In our scanario service product is created in production system and later manually created in test and developement system.
Is there is any standard function module avilable to replicate the product master data into test and developement system
Or Is it possible to use the middleware functionallity to replicate the service product details.
    Please advice on this issue.
    Thanks,

You can use the FindFile method in the TS API:
    FindFile Method
    Syntax
    Engine.FindFile ( fileToFind, absolutePath, userCancelled, promptOption = FindFile_PromptHonorUserPreference, srchListOption = FindFile_AddDirToSrchList_Ask, isCommand = False, [currentSequenceFile])
The function itself returns a boolean which indicates if the file exists or not.
Then just use a Call Executable step to run command line string to delete the file.
    Hope this helps!

  • Get-mailboxdatabasecopystatus -identity DBNAME | fl gives errors "The Microsoft Exchange Replication service encountered an error while attempting to start a replication instance for". DB is mounted and the DB copies are in healthy status.

We are getting a SCOM alert " Database copy isn''''t keeping up with the changes on the active database copy and has failed."
When we go to the mailbox server and check we found all the Mailbox DB's are mounted properly and their copies are in healthy state. Further digging to this problem we found that there are no critical events to this DB in the eventviewer.
When we runt he get-mailboxdatabasecopystatus -identity DBNAME | Fl then in the ErrorMessage section we get error "The Microsoft Exchange Replication service encountered an error while attempting to start a replication instance for . If the copy doesn't
recover automatically, administrator intervention may be necessary. Error: The directory is not empty."
    ErrorEventID : 4126
In the event viewer we get a Information event 4114 saying the DB redundancy health check passed and in the details section we get the same error message mentioned above.
Also we observed that the "MSExchange Replication" counter "Failed" is set to 1 for this perticular DB but is is set to 0 for the other DB's. Tried restarting the MSEXChange replication service but still the "Failed" counter
is 1 and the SCOM alert is still active.
    The version is Exchange 2010 SP3 UR5
    Any clues???

    Hi,
From your description, this issue only affect one mailbox datatabase.
Please use the Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy command to check result.
If it doesn't work, please dismount your active database copy and check if this is Clean Shutdown, if it's dirty shutdown, please bring to clean shutdown and mount this database copy. Then run the Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy command again to check result.

  • Date Error on the Service Order while using service product

    Hi PM experts,
I am working on the scenario resource-related billing, using service product in the service order created from a service notification linked to a contract with service product as the line item.  service product is the material of DIEN material type.
when i was trying to save the service order created using transaction code-IW31, i am getting the  Error Message:
    " *SYS:Date 00.00.0000 not expected*".
This error started only yesterday, and it was not there before. Basis team has confirmed that they have not done any new
    updates to the system.
Had anyone encounered this problem before, if yes kindly let me know the solution and the steps to resolve it.
    thanks for the help.
    regards,

    Hi,
Here is the error description with message number,
    SYST: Date 00.00.0000 not expected.
    Message no. FGV004
As an update to this thread, while searching for the reasons for the problem, i found that the characteristics used in the
warranty class were carrying default date value as 00.00.0000.  can this be a reason for getting this error as the service
product number which is a DIEN material type is linked to the master warranty which is in turn assigned to the equipment.
    Hope this information helps.

  • Error 1051429. Analytical services Product Existent check Fails

    Hi,
We want to externalize users from native to shared services.
    Note: The Enviornment is UNIX.
Following activities were carried out from our end.
    1. Configured database. (Oracle)
    2. Registered with shared services.
    3. Deployed to Application server. (Tomcat)
    4. Ensured that administration services are up after registration.
    5. Ensured shared services are working fine.
    6. Backed up .sec files, config files and bak files from bin directory and deleted all users except admin user from the
    mgt console.
    7. We then went on to externalize the users from the Console. This did not succeed.
    Error message given was:-

against the shared services server with error. [Unable to connect to
shares services , make sure the shared services is running and try
        again.]
When we did not succeed we went to user management console and created a new user , gave it all rights and then tried externalizing that user. But that too failed.
    More things done were :-
1 Changed the netdelay settings in config to 3 hours.
2 Set unix server time with shared services time in sync.
3 Re-Registered the Analytical Services as above.
4 Using management console established sync with analytic services (thru mgt console).
Nothing works. Hope someone shall provide a solution soon.
Thanks in advance for the same.

    Hi Balakrishnan,
Just check whether services called 'OpenLdap' and 'Shared Service' are running or not if not then please start them and then try to externize users.

  • Item category group during service order replication is incorrect

    Hi,
We are trying to replicate Service order from CRM to R/3 and the service product that is used in CRM service order is got from r/3 named SRV_REPAIR.
In CRM when we enter SRV_REPAIR in Service order the item category YSRP(copied from SRVP) should be determined.
when i use the item category group LEIS(service w/0 delivery) in R/3 for service product then the item category is determined as YSRP correctly but the replication of service order fails with the message
"It is not possible to upload from mixed documents with scen. A activated "
please suggest which item category group should be used in a service product for replicating a service order from CRM to r/3.
    Regards
    Prathiba

    Hello,
The problem might be that item category is assigned to object type BUS2000140.
This object type is not relevent to upload so you get the error.
    Please check FM CRM_SALESDOCUMENT_FILTER.
    FM   CRM_SALESDOCUMENT_FILTER
check for upload relevant item object types
          if ( lv_obj_type = gc_object_type_item-sales                  or
               ( lv_obj_type = gc_object_type_item-cust_contract   and
                 lv_sales_contract_active = true )                      or
               ( ( lv_obj_type = gc_object_type_item-credit_req or
                   lv_obj_type = gc_object_type_item-debit_req )   and
                 lv_trans = true )
             and
               <ls_orderadm_i>-product_kind <> gc_product_kind-iobject
fill table with item guids which are relevant for the upload
            insert <ls_orderadm_i>-guid into table lt_item_guids.
          else.
            insert <ls_orderadm_i>-guid into table lt_item_guids_delete. <-!
          endif.
        endloop.
      endif.
if scenario A is active no mixed documents are supported
      if <ls_orderadm_h>-scenario+3(1) = gc_scenario_r3chg-int_chg.
if not lt_item_guids_delete[] is initial.                        <-
          perform fill_bapiret2
                  using 'W' 'CRM_ORDER_MISC' '036'
                        lv_msgv1 lv_msgv2 lv_msgv3 lv_msgv4
                        space 0 gc_object_name-sales 0 space.
          raise upload_not_relevant.
        endif.
      endif.
Please see note 772267 to prohibit data transfer in this case. The error
message is related to scenario A you are using.
Scenario A is not working for
service items as scenatio A allows changes of doc in both systems so
CRM and ECC. As service items won't be replicated this can't work at
    all.
In other words, if scenario A is used the sales order in ECC has to be
identically to the sales order in CRM. This is not the case in service
    processing.
So again you have to prohibit data transfer from service orders to ECC
    when using scenario A.
    Hopefully the information helps!

  • Creation of EBP Purchase Order for Service Products in MM

    Hello all,
i have created the service master in MM system and then i have replicated the service master to EBP later i tried to create a EBP PO for Service Products through Sourcing from EBP to MM.
But i am getting a failure message as "Error during determination of  backend document follow on documents for shopping cart " and PO is not created anyway.
But i can create PO for Materials with the same process.
I am getting this message only during creation of PO with Service Products.
I request you if any body has the solution please post your valuble information as early as possible.

    Mahesh
What I understood from your case is you were able to create PR in backend for service items when you assign vendor manually durin g SC creation.
In that case definitely it will create PR instead of PO in backend. Because when a vendor is assigned manually during SC creation. that vendor is treated as desired vendor and not fixed vendor. So it gives suggestion to buyer, who converts PR to PO, to use this vendor.
When a desired vendor is assigned manually, SC is treated as incomplete. SC is complete only when source of supply is assigned automatically.
If you want that desired vendor to be treated as fixed vendor you need to maintain the same in BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE and method BBP_SC_CHANGE.
If PO is to be created directly(Without BADI logic) make sure vendor is assigned automatically in source of supply section of SC. This  can be possible by maintaining vendor list in SRM or maintain a Contract for that product in backend so that system will pick that source automatically.
Try this and see what document is created in backend.
PS:Reward points if the solution is helpful to you.

  • BO 4.0 Advanced Analysis for OLAP - The MDAS service encountered an error.

    Hi guru's,
We are running BO 4.0 SP02 Patch 11 with SAP BW 7 and experiencing the following error with Advanced Analysis for OLAP:
    "Analysis edition for OLAP
The MDAS service encountered an error."
    After you click show details:
"com.crystaldecisions.thirdparty.org.omg.CORBA.MARSHAL  minor code: 0x0  completed: No"
I have researched into this and found forums such as:
    http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2053481
SAP KB 1560100 - BI4.0 Advanced Analysis Web problem: The MDAS Service encountered an error
SAP KB 1661163 - An error is generated when selecting a query or cube in Analysis for OLAP: Error 15
However, none of these have helped our situation too much.
We have rebuilt the windows server 2008 R2 recently, hence the process we followed was a fresh install of BO 4.0 SP02 platform & tools, and then patch 11 on top of these.
Crystal, WEBI's (using the same BICS connections as the AA's) and Dashboards are all working as per expected.
The errors are for every AA including ones with only 2 variable selections (light queries) to ones with many more. Hence it is platform wide for Advanced Analysis.
I have also tried creating new AA using existing BICS, new BICS existing AA, new BICS new AA all with no luck.
We have also created new Adaptive Processing Servers with only the MDAS as a common service, turned on tracing etc but nothing springs to us as to what is going wrong.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?
    Thanks all,

    Hi All,
After conversing with SAP support technicians we have found what is causing this issue.
On the windows servers we have the following installed locally:
    - BO platform 4.0 SP02
    - BO platform 4.0 SP02 patch 11
    - BO client tools 4.0 SP02
    - BO client tools 4.0 SP02 patch 11
    - Crystal reports 2011 SP02
    - Crystal reports 2011 SP02 patch 11
    - Crystal reports for Ent SP02
    - Crystal reports for Ent SP02 patch 11
It seems that the crystal reports 2011 or cr for Ent was causing an issue in the .WAR files that BOE uses to run Advanced Analysis for OLAP.
After uninstalling the two crystal products and removing any left over cr files in program files on the server, AA for OLAP works successfully in our environment.
The other point after this was i stopped the tomcat and SIA, i renamed the BOE folder under <install dir>\SAP BO4.0\Tomcat6\webapps and restarted the tomcat and then the SIA. In 4.0 when the tomcat is started again it will go and recreate the BOE folder from the BO directories effectively recreating the apps .WAR files under the webapps\BOE folder.
SAP will hopefully document this issue for other clients.
    Cheers,

    Hi Senthil,
Could you pleae confirm if "localhost:1521:uddinode" is the correct connection detail.
Most likely the SID "uddinode" or the port number "1521" is incorrect. If the problem persists, please post your "TNSNAMES.ORA" and "LISTNER.ORA" entries here.

  • FSMO Replication Error

I have been getting a pattern of errors on my DC. I have two pair of eyes on these errors, but everything seems to running ok. The only issue we've had is our workstations were putting out the "Trust domain relationship failed..." error. We were
able fix this issue by removing those machines from the domain, changing the names, and then adding them back. My only concern is that the errors below were the cause of that, and that the issue may return unless this is resolved. I've checked all of my services
and DNS's settings. IPv6 is on. There haven't been any changes to the server in sometime. Which is the baffling part. Any insight on this would be very helpful. I apologize in advance for not being well versed in this area... AD Replication is not my strongest
    point.

    preventing validation of this role.
Operations which require contacting a FSMO operation master will fail until this condition is corrected.
    FSMO Role: CN=RID Manager$,CN=System,DC=LAH
    User Action:
    1. Initial synchronization is the first early replications done by a system as it is starting. A failure to initially synchronize may explain why a FSMO role cannot be validated. This process is explained in KB article 305476.
    2. This server has one or more replication partners, and replication is failing for all of these partners. Use the command repadmin /showrepl to display the replication errors.  Correct the error in question. For example there maybe problems with IP connectivity,
DNS name resolution, or security authentication that are preventing successful replication.
    3. In the rare event that all replication partners being down is an expected occurance, perhaps because of maintenance or a disaster recovery, you can force the role to be validated. This can be done by using NTDSUTIL.EXE to seize the role to the same server.
This may be done using the steps provided in KB articles 255504 and 324801 on http://support.microsoft.com.
The following operations may be impacted:
Schema: You will no longer be able to modify the schema for this forest.
Domain Naming: You will no longer be able to add or remove domains from this forest.
PDC: You will no longer be able to perform primary domain controller operations, such as Group Policy updates and password resets for non-Active Directory Domain Services accounts.
RID: You will not be able to allocation new security identifiers for new user accounts, computer accounts or security groups.

    I see the following errors:
"The source server is currently rejecting replication requests."
"Replication has been explicitly disabled through the server options."
I would recommend starting with this MS KB which describes your problem: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2023007?wa=wsignin1.0
Also, I would recommend that you follow the recommendations I shared in this Wiki: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/18513.active-directory-replication-issues-basic-troubleshooting-steps-single-ad-domain-in-a-single-ad-forest.aspx

  • Enter service employee grp error in service ticket

    Hi Forum,
We are working on CRM 5.0 SP 7,IC WebClient and have implemented the BAdi "CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI" for assigning the 'Investigation' service product in the background whenever the service ticket is created. So the service product is assigning in the background everytime the ticket is created and at the same time we have the following errors in the ticket:
    "Enter Service Employee Group"
    "Enter the unit of measure"
    Please guide.
    Shridhar

    Hi,
Please remove the Service Employee Group partner function from the Transaction type TSRV(Default) - if you have used the default transaction (TSRV) in Business Transaction profile attached to the ICWEBCLIENT PROFILE.
ICWEBCLIENT PROFILE ---> Business Transaction --->dependent transaction
Go to the Transaction type >Partner function->remove the Service employee Group Partner function.
    That should do it ..
    Cheers!!
    Raj

I'm receiving the exact same error as the original post. We tried every suggestion on this forum and still get the 'cron service not available' error. I've also checked and we don't have a neo-cron.xml file. We are using Coldfusion 8.
The Cron service is not available.
This exception is usually caused by service startup failure. Check your server configuration.

Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    suren

    Hi suren,
Error 1256 is logged as the replication status per partition as a result of the destination DC cancelling the sync request from the source DC due to a connectivity failure previously encountered.
Please refer to the articles below to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Service product configuration

    Hi Experts,
I have requirement to update characteristics of service product configuration in a service order, could you please let me know if you have any idea about any function modules and how to use them and what parameters need to pass to them.
I am able to get the characteristics data through the function module VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION, but I am unable to use FM
CE_I_SET_CONFIGURATION to change or update the new characteristics data in the service product, as I am not clear what to pass on this.
If this is not clear let me know.
    Thanks in advance..
    -Vinni

    Hi,
It was a headache, but at last found a way to do that, but no error handling was possible in this case.
You have to read the existing characteristics by using function module CUCB_GET_CONFIGURATION and then change/append the characteristics data as required, then use CUCB_SET_CONFIGURATION for updating the required data in service product, then use function modules CUCB_CONFIGURATION_TO_D and do the commit work subsequently.
    Thanks,
    Vinni
