Service Request Authorizations

Hi,
I would like to ask if there is an equivalent of transaction code SU53 in the Web UI? I am not familiar with the PFCG role set-up and our process that whenever we don't have authorizations to transactions, we send SU53 screen shots to the security team.
Whenever I try to create a service request in the CRM web UI, i cannot create one because the system says that I don't have any authorization to create. But when i log on to CRM gui and check on tcode SU53, is says that authorization check is successful. Is there a way to go around this?
Thanks,

Hi,
You might find this [thread|CRM AUTHORIZATIONS Position levelu00B4s; useful. Additionally, check the values maintained in the objects mentioned in that thread.
Possibly the transaction value SRVR is missing in the PFCG role assigned to you via the business role.
Hope it helps.

  • SRVR(Service Request) and SRVO(Service Order) are not appearing in IC_Agent

    Dear friends,
We are planning to implement Service Requests and Service Orders in CRM 7.0 Interaction Center
The Service Transactions(Service Order/Service Request) are available in 'Service Professional' business role but not available in 'IC_AGENT' role.
    The things i have observed
    1. Without the channel the Transaction Type was not appearing in SAP GUI (CRMD_ORDER)
    2. Even after maintaining the Channels the BUS2000223 (Service Request) did not appear in CRMD_ORDER but the SRVO- Service Order transaction type appeared.(BUS2000116 Service Process)
    3. Have maintained the SRVO and SRVR transaction types as dependent transaction types in the 'Business Transaction Profile'; still when clieck on the Service Request or Service Order create I am getting the below error
'No transaction type is available for creating a transaction'
    Below is the diagnosis
    Diagnosis
No transaction type is available when creating a transaction. This can be due to the following reasons:
No transaction type is available according to Customizing
The user has no authorization for the transaction type
    System Response
It is not possible to create the transaction.
    Procedure
    Make sure that:
The transaction type is set up in Customizing
The user has authorization for the transaction type
Can you please guide me where the actual issue is

  • Restrict search access of Service requests based on service team

    Hi,
We have the below requirement in our client to restrict the search of the service requests based on the service team.
    Requirement
A user can only search / display the service requests which are assigned to his queue.(Partner Function --> Service team)
Can you please suggest if we have a standard authorization object by means of which we can achieve this.
Can you please help us on priority on this. Reward points would be awarded for helpful answers
    Thanks,
    Vamsi.

    Hello Vamsi
I redefined the  method  EH_ONSEARCH_BTN of component  BT116S_SRVO/ADVANCEDSP. Because i used this in service order.  you can same method of  Service request component.
Use can call method insert_selection_param of class cl_crm_bol_dquery_service
to set the SERVICE_ORG parameter with value of Employee's service org.

  • Modify item in the Charges tab of the Service Request form

If the line of the Action tab inside the Charges tab of the Service Request is entered by a Service Agent if the item is entered incorrectly the line can be later changed but if it is entered from Mobile Field Service the line does not allow modification. Is there any way we can modify this lines?
    Thank you.

I want the user not be able to edit any of the fields in the Attribute tab under MyProfilehttp://rajivdewan.blogspot.com/2011/08/modify-authorization-policies-in-oim.html
Also in the roles, resource, Proxy tab he should not be able to create request for role, resource, proxy respectivelYou can remove access from Templates. For Proxy, create authroization policy to restrict the search results
    Or
You'll have to find the exact JSPX file to remive these tabs.

  • View of organizational unit in Service request

    Hi everyone,
In our service request, we are trying to visualise all the organizational unit (of the organization model) of a BP.
We achieve to see the direct service group where the BP is assigned but we are trying to see more of the link to the organizational model.
For example : our organizational model looks like this:
For user AJAUSSAUD1, I can see the direct link to PSE Equiment in my service request (this is determined in the partner schema determination)
However, we would like to be able to see MC1 (here 3 level above) in the service request.
We are using service organization as function and all the organizational unit are determined as service organization as we are using it to authorizations access.
Does anyone know if there is a way to see the link with all the organizational unit of a user in a service request?
Would it be with the attribute available in the ppoma-crm, but how to add the field and make them available in the service request view?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Anaïs

    Hello Anais,
As far as I know, there is no standard way to view an organizational hierarchy in a service request. You will need to do some developments. There are two options -
    1. If you want the 3 org levels to be stored in data base table for future reference and reporting
You can add 3 fields in ORGMAN sub object using AET. This will add the fields to table CRMD_ORGMAN. After org determination has happened in your service request, you can use BAdi - CRM_ORGMAN_BADI, methd - CRM_ORGMAN_MERGE to fill values of these 3 org levels. You have to recursively use functions or query table HRP1001 to get the parent of determined service org and then its parent and so on.
Remember once these 3 fields are added at database level, they are available for all transaction types of one order. These fields can be made available to BW queues also at time of adding them.
    2. If you do not want the 3 org levels to be stored in data base table
This would mean you only want these fields for display to end user.
Add 3 model nodes in the web ui component. In the getter method of 1st field, add select query or call function to get parent of determined service org. Similarly for other 2 fields.
Hope this will help. Maybe you also get some different suggestion from other guys.
    Regards,
    Niraj

  • Deploying services does not affect service requests already in-flight EXCEPT...

How does a deployment effect the in-flight delivery plans...
Please note this might be contrary to what you think about service delivery plans... Deploying services does not affect service requests already in-flight EXCEPT
Contents of rules, ISF functions, and JavaScript libraries are always retrieved from the current service definition
The delivery plan for services that have not completed all their authorizations will be based on the delivery plan in the current service definition

    Hi Tonya,
We've found that to be the case now but when we were on 2008.1 (an early service pack I believe) and earlier, we were often afflicted with changes to dictionary visibility on forms after we deployed a service definition.  It occurred so frequently that we were in the practice of having to suffix the older service definitions with an underscore to minimise services get locked up as mandatory fields in the delivery moment were disappearing.
    Thanks,

  • Service Requests Open 5 days?/Service Requests Open and Closed Today

    Help!
How would I determine service requests open greater then 5 days, I use the # of Open SR's but cannot seem to get a date to work.
Also what is the best way to count the SR's open and closed on the same day?
    Thanks in advance.

You need to include a TIMESTAMPDIFF function in your filter... something to the effect of
    TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY,"Service Request"."Create Date",CURRENT_DATE) > 5
    Double check the column reference.

  • Creation of service request based on an event in ECC

    Hello,
I want to create service request based on an event in ECC HR. For e.g. events can be employee leaving, Absence for longer period etc.
Is there a standard way of doing this ? If so could you please let me know the process/steps.

Adding a BOL entity and binding it with the main parent node entity will give access to the main BOL. Using which, we can traverse to the required object using GET_RELATED_ENTITY and change the respective attributes.

On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.
    Hope this helps

  • Reporting In Service Manager 2012 - How To Get A List Of All Service Requests Regardless of Status

    Thanks
** A piece meal report is a report that has to be manually pieced together by combining data from others reports and other sources because no single report can be constructed to bring all the data togethere into a single report.  If you've ever
worked with an accountant taht uses Excel for everything but who has no idea how SQL or databases in general are deisgned then chances are you've either been asked to create a piece meal report for them and or seen them do one them selves when they open a
