Service specifications screen for service activity becomes grey after PO

Hi All,
I would like your views/comments on the following issue:
I am creating a service activity PS04 , it takes me to the service specification screen,then I am using the single item to create the painting services. The PR is generated for the activity. Till PO is not created for this service activity I am able to add other services as required functionality.
The issue is that once i create the PO for the service activity PR line item, the whole screen of the service specifications becomes grey i.e not editable . can you give me the inputs why that so?
In the ideal scenario  & the requirement is that, it should grey out for the service lines of the PR for the lines where PO is created not the whole screen.
please provide the suggestions / solution to this issue.

Thanks Virendra for your effort in this replication in IDES. I checked the service activity & its settings which are correct and it is not the issue. 
Do you have any idea of the configuration / user exit in case of PO is created it will not allow the change mode of the PR for service activty generated from projects.

    The tax calculation will be like below
    service tax of 10.3%  has to caluclate on the 25% of the Base amount. Like
    25% is taxable and 75% is livied.
    Base Amount - 100.00
    25% of the base amount(100/25) = 25.00
    service tax(10.30%) to be calculate on Rs. 25.00
    25*10.30% = 2.57
    Base amount --> 100.00
    Service Tax  -->      2.57
            Total:           102.57

    To begin, what ADA-compliant options are available to work with a service representative? I've never found the online chat service support to be available during my waking hours after checking over the last week. I can't find a contact email for support, either. I've been instructed on several occasions that I will need to make a voice call for customer service, but unfortunately, this will not be possible. I will require text-format assistance from customer support to address two issues which I am unable to solve on my own:
    1) I was charged for service following the cancellation of my service; this includes a period following cancellation during which no service was provided.   • Was not informed of new policy when signing up for service and charged for services I did not knowingly agree to.

    I’m writing to contest a $29.99 monthly charge, which is contracted for 24 months amounting to $720 in total. The charge is for a data plan which I did not knowingly agree to, and verizon is unwilling to remove from the account even though the phone on the line does NOT use data.
    The backstory of the issue:
    On September 19, 2014 I waited in line at an Apple store to purchase a new iPhone on launch day.  I opened a new basic line of service for $9.99 a month on my account so I could purchase a discounted phone from Verizon. When purchasing the phone, the representative explained that he was going to have to put a basic data package on the line for $15 a month, but that it would be removed once I transferred the phone to an existing line on the account.  After the purchase was complete, we transferred the phone to an exisitng line, and the represented confirmed that the data package would not be charged to my account and therefore I would only have to pay $9.99 a month for the basic line of service for two years. A couple weeks pass and I receive my bill, I notice that the data plan is still listed on my account and has also increased to $29.99 a month!  I call Verizon to see what is going on, they tell me that they have just implemented a new policy that states if I purchased a smart phone on a basic account and then transfer the phone to a differnt line that I will have to pay $29.99 a month for data even if the new phone that is currently on the line does not use data! I told them I was not informed of this, and was actually told the complete opposite when signing up for service.  They refuse to remove the data package, and will not let me cancel the account without charging  me $350.  The representative on the phone said that the representative in the store was a sales person and most likely did not have the training to inform them of the new policy change, and that they could not honor what he told me.
    I should be able to rely on and trust what a Verizon wireless representative is telling me, I was not aware of the new policy and did not knowingly agree to this policy. And in that case, I would like to point out that I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 15 years humbly request that you clear this $29.99 monthly charge from my account as a gesture of good faith.
    I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with verizon trying to get this resolved to no avail. I have also filed a complaint with the attorney generals office, and plan to persue this until it is fully resolved.

    This agreement and the documents it incorporates form the entire agreement between us. You can't rely on any other documents, or on what's said by any Sales or Customer Service Representatives, and you have no other rights regarding Service or this agreement.
    They gotcha! And that policy change was listed here and other places on the net.
    Its either pay that or the early termination fees.
    Verizon will not grant you a mistake forgiveness clause.
    If they do it for you they would have to do it for everyone.

  • Service Work Order & Service Entry - quantities for services

    Hi,
    I have a work order, the item category for item 10 is set as "Service". A service is inserted in the "Services" tab of item 10 with quantity 100 EA. Service entries were entered.
    But when display the details of the service (either in ME23N or ML81N), the "Actual Quantity" in "Statistic" tab does not tally with my actual total quantity entered.
    For example, the Actual Quantity may display 100 EA. But the total quantity of all the service entries may only be 90.
    Did I missed out anything? Can anyone enlighten me?

    I have added quantities added for all my service entry sheets. The total does not tally with Actual Quantity field.
    In other words, my total quantities for all the service entry sheets is 90 EA. But the Actual Quantity field is showing 100 EA.
    I have used t-code MSRV6 to display the list of service entries for the service. It is showing me all the service entry sheet for the WO/PO. The total quantity is 90 EA, but Actual Quantity field is showing 100 EA.

AFAIK Sold2-Party, Sales and Service Organization, status of the Service Contract (released), Start and End date and the object list are responsible for the Contract determination. Hence if I'm not wrong a sold2-party must be provided.
    There is the CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACT Badi and what we did in our process is to use the Event framework to ensure a contract redetermination after change of the sold2-party. Take a look at CRM_SEARCH_SERV_CONTRACTS_EC for ideas in that direction.

    If it's a retail purchase online from Adobe site then as soon as the Order is processed you will get a link to download alongwith the serial number to your email.The same will be reflected in yor Adobe account.
    Upon entering the serial number the software activates immediately.
    The same holds for a boxed product if bought from a reseller. The serial number is located at the back of the case which you can use to activate the software.
    In case of the EDU version software, the serial number is provided upon successful validation of the uploaded Proof of Eligibility documents and this process might take 24 to 48 hours to process.

  • Budget checking for services with "Unlilmited" indicator set

    Under normal cases, the budget checking is happening properly for the services in a project.
    But I have certain service activities where I require to set the "Unlimited" indicator set (in the service specification screen)and some other services where I set a value limit to the unplanned services (in the Limit section of the service specification screen).
    In these cases, the budget checking is not happening as expected by the standard methods. Please note that the availability control is active.

    Thanks for the prompt replies.
    Now you have struck the point. Assume I have a budget of rs.50000. The planned services in PR is of Rs.20000 and I have set a limit of rs.50000 for the unplanned services in the same PR. Now my commitment is Rs.20000 only which is right.
    In our specific case, the budget check will not happen at PR.
    Now I am creating a PO of the above PR. So PO commt is rs.20000.
    After this, when I go to the service entry sheet and enter a planned services of rs.20000 and unplanned services of rs.40000 (remember i set a 50000 limit for unplanned services in the PR). Hence my total actual cost is rs.60000. Obviously I want the system to do a budget check here and stop the user at the time of service entry sheet. But this is not happening. The budget check is not happening at service entry sheet if I am having any unplanned services in the PR or if I tick the "unlimited" indicator against a particular service.
    Hope I have put my point clearly.

    Work order  has created with four line items.
    In this work order 3rd, 4th line item consists around 240 service lines.
    User has entered discount for all services at header level.
    After entering user has selected service specification >>prices >> recalculate
    On menu bar in service specifications screen.
    After recalculating total value is showing as zero & net price for the 3rd & 4th line is showing as zero.

    Please check also the following:
      > Click on the conditions icon in the 'services' tab                             
      > Click on the update icon and select the option 'C':
    Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others
    Please try to test also with other options.

    I want to change the commitment item in the PR on change of Material Group . I used the BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST for changing the commitment item and its working fine for all types of PR except Service PR .
    In service PR , its changing the commitment item only on clicking the Account Assigment button because at this instant only the BADI is getting trigger .
    I want to change the commitment item without clicking the Account Assigment button (on pressing enter or at saving time ) .
    Is there any way ?

    We are using User Exit MEREQ  EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_010
    In our PR creation for ME51n, we are validating the Person through HR Org structure at the Point of Key in his Cost Center, whether he belong to his Department cost center, we use this User Exit MEREQ  EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_010. If he doesnu2019t not belong, the message pop up as u201C Please use your department cost centeru201D. This works very good in case of NB Document Type (Non stock & Materials).
    We have customized ZCPR (Service PRs), but for service PRs, the place where we enter Account Assignment is Different screen, either it is planned or unplanned service, the system take you to another separate screen to key in Cost Center & GL, here the validation is not happening,
    Please suggest & advice us, we tried in this BADI : ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST, we can fix it. Any User Exit or BADI for Service PRu2019

  • PDP Error for only for Service Item

    We are on SRM 5.5 with ECC6.0 in Classic Mode and trying to create a PO in ECC.
    We are facing a unique issue. We have maintained all the required settings for material as well as
    services. When a material is transferred to SoCo and assigned a vendor it creats a PO in ECC. But when we are transferring service, the PO does not get created.
    The error in RZ20 (backend error) shows error "Enter Material Group" although material group is present in the SC and replicated from ECC to SRM and can be seen in Comm_hierarchy
    Issue is unique coz of following results.
    1. ECC PR - Free Text Item -> acc *** cat - k -> P grp 200 -> Material Grp X ->
        Item Cat D -
        PR sent to SRM to SOCO and create PO FAILS
    2. ECC PR - Free Text Item -> acc *** cat - k -> P grp 200 -> Material Grp X ->
        Item Cat "Blank" -
        PR sent to SRM to SOCO and create PO SUCCESS
    3. SRM SHC - Free Text Item -> acc *** cat - k -> P grp 200 -> Material Grp X ->
        Item Cat D -
        PR sent to SRM to SOCO and create PO SUCCESS
    Hence for the same set of data the Material PR creates a PO but Not Service. Also for the same service data the SRM SHC also creates a PO.
    Only the PDP service PR fails. Any views why? is there any specific settings for Service in PDP?
    We have replicated the masters and groups properly.

    I have noticed the following difference when the ext req for Material (which creates PO) and Service (which fails) are compared in BBP PD
    1. The field EXT_DEM_POSID (External Requirement Tracking Number) in Table BBP_PDIGP for service shows the value as 000100000000010 whereas for material it shows value  00010. That means the details in SOCO under follow on documents tab shows external requirement number for service as xxxxxxxxx/1000000 (probably last 5 digits truncated) wheras for material it shows xxxxxxxxx/10.
    Is this standard or this is an error. Can this be linked to my original issue.
    2. The field BE_OBJ_ITEM in table BBP_PDBEI for the failed service PO is blank whaereas for material it takes the value 00010.
    What is the importance of this field?
    Apart from this I have also found a note in which corrections are delivered for SRM 550 patch level 11 which is our current patch level. That means these corrections are already present in our system. The program code says.

    This clearly says when service item, remove mat_grp in extreq scenario and that is what our problem is. The error is basically for "Enter material Group".
