Setting a specific menu based on exit point?

Hello,
Wondering how I should go about this...any feedback is appreciated.
Basically, I have my main show setup with various chapters points. When a user hits the MENU or TITLE buttons from within the main show to return to the DVD menus, I would like to serve them a specific chapter menu based on the 2 chapter points the user may be between.
Anyone have any ideas about how I should go about scripting this?

Yes, you can do this if you use the info within SPRM7 that the DVD player stores automatically for you. SPRM7 tracks the last chapter played, in numbers from 1 to 99.
If the viewer hits 'menu' between chapters 6 and 7, SPRM7 will hold a value of 6. You can use this info in a script which is what you set the menu call to go to. OFr example, in a three chapter track, your menu call would be to this script:
mov GPRM0, SPRM7
Jump Menu 1 If(GPRM0 = 1)
Jump Menu 2 If(GPRM0 = 2)
Jump Menu 3 If(GPRM0 = 3)
and so on for all of the possible menus in your project.
This will at least take you to the default button on each menu. If you want to go to a specific button then that script will need to be amended, or a second script added.

I'm having a little trouble understanding the part about your password having to be reset. Why is that happening??
Let's start with Firefox's settings:
(1) You can configure the password manager feature on this tab:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security
There is a checkbox to enable/disable the feature.
There also is a "Saved Passwords" button to review and remove any passwords you do not want Firefox to keep.
That tab also has a feature to set a Master Password so that no one can use your saved passwords without knowing the Master Password. You may need to exit Firefox in order for Firefox to ask for that again.

(2) Site-specific permissions
If you want to use the password manager for other sites but NOT a particular site, you can configure that in the Permissions Manager.
In a new tab, type or paste '''about:permissions''' in the address bar and press Enter.
After the page loads, use the search box in the upper left corner to narrow down the list to the site you want to configure. Highlight the site on the left side, and on the right side, choose Block under Store Passwords.
(3) Form autocomplete suggestions
Separate from passwords, Firefox remembers entries you've made into forms (in most cases) and lists the matching ones below the form field in a drop-down.
To clear a suggestion, press the down arrow key to highlight it and press the Delete key.

Types of Exits 
There are several different types of user exits. Each of these exits acts as hooks where you can attach or "hang" your own add-ons.
Menu Exits
Menu exits add items to the pulldown menus in standard SAP applications. You can use these menu items to call up your own screens or to trigger entire add-on applications.
SAP creates menu exits by defining special menu items in the Menu Painter. These special entries have function codes that begin with "+" (a plus sign). You specify the menu items text when activating the item in an add-on project.
Screen Exits
Screen exits add fields to screens in R/3 applications. SAP creates screen exits by placing special subscreen areas on a standard R/3 screen and calling a customer subscreen from the standard screens flow logic.
Function Module Exits 
Function module exits add functions to R/3 applications. Function module exits play a role in both menu and screen exits.
When you add a new menu item to a standard pull down menu, you use a function module exit to define the actions that should take place once your menu is activated.
Function module exits also control the data flow between standard programs and screen exit fields. SAP application developers create function module exits by writing calls to customer functions into the source code of standard R/3 programs.
These calls have the following syntax:
CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION 001.
Field Exits
Field exits allow you to create your own programming logic for any data element in the Dictionary. You can use this logic to carry out checks, conversions, or business-related processing for any screen field. Example: The data element BBBNR identifies a companys international location number. You might want to set up your R/3 System so that all international location numbers are larger than 100.
The field exit concept lets you create a special function module that contains this logic.
You assign the special function module to the data element BBBNR. You then assign the module to any programs and screens in which users can add new international location numbers. When you activate your field exit, the system automatically triggers your special routine whenever a user enters a company location number.
In 4.6c, you can use "RSMODPRF" program to create field exits.
An example of a user exits :-

Nothing "built in" senses file type and sorts by it that know of, and I've not heard of any third-party options.
You can have pretty good control by slight mods to how you download:
1--Set up a dedicated Downloads folder in Documents if you don't have one. Point all you browsers to that folder for catching downloads.
from here you have two options:
2A--always display that folder sorted by "Kind." That put files of similar types together
2B--within the Downloads folder, create subfolders for different file types. If you do this, instead of clicking files for downloading, right-click them. One of the contextual menu options the right-click will reveal is "Download Linked Files as...." and will force a dialog box from which you can select the subfolder that will hold that file type.

Horizontal Spry Menu appears as bullet point list in IE8 and below - fine in firefox, chrome and IE9

I have an horizontal spry menu bar in my website that renders correctly in all browsers except ie 8 and below where it appears like an unordered list - almost like no CSS had been applied at all. I am looking for a way in JDO to retrieve and update sets of specific
objects using a single SQL statement of the form:
SELECT * FROM <ManagedEntity> WHERE <pk> IN (<pk1,pk2,...>)
This is a relatively frequent and important use case for the types of
applications that deal with graphs, such as for modeling telecommunications
networks. I will describe below the specific behavior as taken from JSR 142:
OSS Inventory API, specifically the Resource Inventory EJB Session Facade.
(See http://jcp.org/jsr/detail/142.jsp and
http://jcp.org/jsr/detail/144.jsp, which defines the API design patterns
followed by http://java.sun.com/products/oss/ .)
(1) ResourceInventoryEntityValue[]
getResourceInventoryEntitiesByKeys(ResourceInventoryEntityKey[] keys,

This is one occurrence of the operation pattern get<ManagedEntities>ByKeys.
When the ResourceInventoryEntityValue implementation is a JDO
PersistenceCapable class, and the ResourceInventoryEntityKey holds the
primary key of each object of interest, the result set should be selected
with a single SQL statement.
(2) void removeResourceInventoryEntitiesByKeys (ResourceInventoryEntityKey[]
keys)
This is one occurrence of the operation pattern
remove<ManagedEntities>ByKeys. The identified instances should be deleted
with a single SQL statement.
The problem is I do not see any obvious JDOQL syntax or operations on the
JDO interfaces that would allow me to accomplish the above. On the positive
side, Kodo is handling the other patterns extremely elegantly (pretty Java
in WebLogic Server) and efficiently (pretty SQL). It is only this one ByKeys
pattern that I can't see a way of doing nicely in JDO.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Customizing settings can be collected by processes into Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets). BC Sets make Customizing more transparent by documenting and analyzing the Customizing settings. They can also be used for a group rollout, where the customizing settings are bundled by the group headquarters and passed on in a structured way to its subsidiaries.
BC Sets are provided by SAP for selected industry sectors, and customers can also create their own.
When a BC Set is created, values and combinations of values are copied from the original Customizing tables into the BC Set and can be copied into in the tables, views and view clusters in the customer system. The BC Sets are always transported into the customer system in which Customizing is performed.
Advantages of using BC Sets:
1.     Efficient group rollout.
2.     Industry sector systems are easier to create and maintain.
3.     Customizing can be performed at a business level.
4.     Change Management is quicker and safer.
5.     Upgrade is simpler.
To create BC sets follow the below step:
Choose Tools ® Customizing ® Business Configuration Sets® Maintenance in the SAP
menu, or enter the transaction code SCPR3 in the command field.
Choose Bus.Conf.Set ® Create.

    There is a function module named 'HELP_START'.
This fuction module calls web browser with particular link. e.g. when u click quick help (in help menu) then this function module is called.

Setting up different webservices based on port number

I have several different web services set up on different port numbers, but would like to access them based on the sub domain instead of the port number.
for instance we have Rumpus ftp running on port 8000
webmail running on port 82
wiki running on port 80
at the moment they are accessed by our.domain-name.co.uk:port number
I have the following sub domains set up with our domain registrar which point to our server.
ftp
web
mail
how do I tie all this together so just typing ftp.domain-name.co.uk points to rumpus on port 8000

Short answer, double-up.
The port number will take precedence, so if you have a virtual host listening on port 8000 then it's only going to process requests on that port. There's no way for it to process hits that come in on a different port.
You could configure the port 80 virtual host as a proxy to proxy the connection to the port 82/8000 server based on the hostname, but it would be easier (by far) to just setup another virtual host.
For example, you setup:
*:82 -> wiki
then you setup another virtual host:
web.domain-name.co.uk:80 -> wiki
Likewise you setup:
*:82 - > webmail
and
mail.domain-name.co.uk:80 -> webmail
In both cases you'd need to duplicate the site's configuration, which means more administration - if you make a change to your webmail setup you need to make it in both places.
The one gotcha is that IIRC Rumpus runs as its own server, not an Apache virtual host, so that may need to be setup as a proxy.

How to set jump to menu from playing video?

I tried to set jump to menu (specific menu) from playing video. Suppose I select selection 2 number 4 then it play then I realize that I don't want to see that video I click menu and go back to same selection 2 menu. I could not get it right. Not only selection 2. If I play from selection 1 number 2 video then click menu button then it go to selection 1 menu. How do I do that?

Error for customer specific Authorization check (User Exit)

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in PM.
I have created a maintenace plan for calibration via t code IP42 and mentioned the order type PM05. Scheduling is done for the order. I got the order number.
I have released the order and got the inspection lot number.
While entering the results recording through t code QE17, the reluts are out of the specified range, i have given the valuation Rejected, immediately system is giving an error message as below:
"Error for customer specific Authorization check (User Exit)"
Though there is no user exit activated in the system, this message is coming and not allowing the result recoring for rejection.
If I'm entering the result recording within the specified range, then valuation is Accepted and its allowing to save.
I have checked the following user exits:
QQMA0002: QM: Authorization Check for Entry into Notif. Transaction
QQMA0026: PM/SM: Auth. check when accessing notification transaction.
The above 2 User Exits are not active.
I have also checked a note 429066. But it says incase of any dump for that user exit only its applicable and more over the current version of the system is ECC 6.0 packae 15, where as that note is applicable upto 4.6C.
Please some one help me on this issue.

I have cheked with my technical team, There is no hotpacks updated recently. This is the implementaion project I'm in, so performing the cycle for the first time.
Any how I got it solved, in T code QE17, after entering the Inspection lot in next screen goto menu path Settings - User settings - Defects recording mention the reprt type and tick on Reprt type Changable.
At the time of result recording if the valuation is Rejected then it ask for defects recording close that window if not rwequired then save, the error message no longer apperaing now.

Delivery Split Not to happen based on Unloading Points
As per standard SAP, delivery will split if we club two scheduling agreements with two different unloading points.
We have a new requirement from customer. They want to club more than 8 Scheduling Agreements or 8 Sales Orders into one single delivery and have one single shipment. They dont want the deliveries to split based on unloading point.
Is there any User exit for this. If yes, please provide details. This is a high priority development and this should be in production by June 10.

Hi,
No need of user exit in your case.Simply create a Z routine and write the code as per your requirement as not to split the delivery based on unloadding points and assign this routine in Order to Delivery copy control at header level.

Changing from Menu Based to Auto Play

The bottom line is at the end of this whole write up...
Are you expecting to see a button, like in earlier versions, that specifically is labelled AutoPlay?
If so, Premiere Elements 11 and 12 does not have such a button.
Once you hit Reset, that resets back to the no menu stage which represents AutoPlay. In that state, when you click Done, your project has no menus and is classed as AutoPlay.
Are you trying to get navigation of the DVD-VIDEO using the TV Remote and just the Timeline markers with no menus in the project? Or are you content to place your DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc in the DVD player and let it play out to completion without any TV Remote Navigation?
I will stay with you on this until we figure out where we are differing in the discussion exchange.

I think that I see where you are coming from on this. Is this it? Given that you have burned your Timeline to DVD-VIDEO as AutoPlay and that you go back into the program and decide to burn another "AutoPlay" DVD-VIDEO. You have long since click Done to the Movie Menu section.
If you click Tools Menu/Movie Menu, you will be faced with menu choice which do not include an AutoPlay one.
So what you can do instead, keep away from Tools Menu/Movie Menu, go directly to Publish+Share/Disc. In that process, you will be greeted by the following pop up
Just click No and proceed with your burn to DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc.

Need to find a calendar to schedule multiple assignments with multiple tasks set on specific days for multiple people

There may be no such animal as what I am searching for, but I thought I'd give it a try.
What I need to do is find a calendar app that allows me to have individual calendars for staff members that I can place a several-days-long assignment and have those people access remotely on an iPad or iPhone (autosync).
I also want to be able to have tasks set on specific days within that assignment that have alerts/reminders for each stage of the assignment.
Being able to custom colour each individual assignment (not just the person's own calndar) is also necessary, as these asignments overlap and need to be easily distinguishable at a glance. Each assignment needs to be its own entity and not affect any furture or previous entries, even if I choose the same colour.
It needs to be in a month by month view and be able to be something each person can subscribe to and sync up with for changes on a daily basis. It does nothave to be a calendar like in the screen shot below, it could be a linear calendar that has days across the top and assignments down the left side.....
Here is a screen shot of a rudimentary excel spreadsheet I have been using. It is awkward and becoming unmanageable as the number of assigments increases and more staff are being added on. And I must send a new spreadsheet out every time I make a change or add an assignment, which is several times a week.
I suspect I may be asking for the world, but if anyone knows a direction I can go in to start a search, I'd be grateful. I haven't had success of my own so far and need to find something soon.
iCal doesn't work for me due to the fact I can only colour code the calendar itself and not the event, plus not being able to have multiple tasks within one event. And the qty of assignments I'd have would see most getting lost, eliminating my abilty to see every staff member's assignmanet at the same time.
