Setting for automatic password submission

Is there a setting on the iphone that automatically provides the password for a secured wireless network? I would like to avoid having to type in the password everytime I connect.

You shouldn't need to do so unless it is a public wi-fi network that requires this via a website after your iPhone automatically joins the network.
There is a free wi-fi network at a restaurant that I frequent which requires a login via a website after my iPhone joins the network. My user name, which is an email address is automatically entered, but I must manually enter the password. This is required by the wi-fi network and can't be changed.

Printer properties continue to show HP photo paper, despite Preferences being set for Automatic.

Yesterday, while attempting to print a Word Perfect 5 document (my word processing app), the printer( HP Office Jet 6500 E709) operated, passed the paper through and made the printing sounds, but no ink was applied to the paper. I thought perhaps the cartridge had run dry, although I usually get a warning and then can visually see from the finished print job when the ink cartridge is empty. My PC is running Win XP Professional, and the printer has never been a problem. I installed a new Black cartridge and successfully printed off a test page. Still could not print the WP document, or any other document from "my documents" file. Tried the "copy" function and the printer worked fine. Still no document printing. Printed a Yahoo e-mail using the "print" option at the top of the message, and the printer worked fine. When printing from that icon, I got a pop-up display with a menu option labeled "preferences." This is the standard routine when printing an e-mail. I clicked on preferences saw that they were set at automatic, portrait, and color. I changed color to Gray Scale, black ink only, and the page printed properly. This has always been the routine, whether printing an e-mail of printing a document. Then I went to my WP document and hit the printer icon on my task bar and got a different pop- up display. In this display there was no "preferences" option, only a "properties" option. When I pressed that button I saw a setting that said HP Photo paper, portrait, grayscale high quality. I changed the paper type[ to "automatic" but cold not change the color option to black ink only. I closed the menu and attempted to print. No ink. I repeated the steps and discovered that the properties had reverted back to HP Photo Paper. I attempted to print from the File menu and by using Cntrl P. Neither option worked and the "Pproperties" continued to show HP photo paper, even though I changed it after each failed attempt and the hopper was full of white ink jet paper. I deinstalled the HP printer and reinstalled it using the original discs. Since the reinstall, the preferences are set as desired, and remain that way every time I chack them. I can print a test page, copy and print email. However, when printing from the print option in File, the task bar printer icon or Cntrl P, the pages continue to be processed but no ink is applied. The pop-up menu that appears when using any of these commands always contains the term "properties" and those properties always show HP photo paper as the stock being used. Regaerdless of how many times I correct the paper type, the entry reverts to HP photo paper after each attempt at printing.

I have the B8550 too, and I just assumed that since it's a fairly high-end printer, it would support the highest-end HP photo paper (i.e., Premium Plus). However, the manual states:
HP Premium and HP Premium Plus photo papers are not supported with this product.
Now, I don't know if that means you shouldn't use it, or that the advanced features won't work, or ??? Or if you should use it, what settings to use (since that type of paper is not listed in the options on the drop-down menu.) I have used the Premium Plus Soft Gloss without any problems. But HP seems to think that the highest quality paper you can use with this printer is "Advanced," which is their third-grade paper. Not exactly what I'd expect from this type of printer.

Suddenly my 4 hour setting for requiring password is being ignored. Why?

My display on my MacBook Pro sleeps after 10 minutes. But I have had it set do I don't have keep re-entering the password each time. And I also have it set to never sleep when the lid is open.
My Security & Privacy settings are set to require a password 4 hours after sleep or screen saver begins.
But over the past week every time the display sleeps I have to enter my password again to log back in. Why?

That's something I never would have figured out on my own, that parent paths are a web server setting. The issue does only apply to the ASP includes, not any of the CSS files. I will have to call the web host to see how the server is actually configured. I will also do some testing just out of curiosity if these automatically inserted includes - even the one to the Connections folder are goverened by the site setting where you choose to use root or document relative links.
I've always set my sites to document relative - but is one way better than the other or is it just a preference?
The CC Desktop app is a weird duck. It took some doing to even get the Filters and Versions menu to display - but I'm now downloading DW CS6. I wasn't sure if this list was dependent on what I had had previously installed or not. The menu also didn't seem to display until after I checked Keep CC Manager up to date in preferences - but this could be just that I didn't see the menu before - it showed up to the left of the button area, and my eyesight is very narrow so I could have just not seen it.

another option is edit your .bash_profile file at /home/<oracleuser>/
and add command line like following

Option for Automatic two sided printing no longer available

Win 7 and HP c7280, Word 2010. Everything worked fine yeasterday but today when I tried to change from one sided to automatic two sided printing I got only two choices, one page or manual two sided. It is set for automatic in the printer properties but in the panel where it asks what you want to print I put in entire documant and then below that it asks for one sided or drop down menu used to say manula or automatic two sided, now it only says manual. What happened and how to I fix it. Printer Setup says the extra atachment is "installed"

Run the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. As you can imagine this is very annoying. It says I am not connected to the internet and offers me a choice of nearby networks including mine and then asks for a password when I select it. Why does it do this with our new MacBooks (also with my son's brand new one) and not with the iPhone, iPad and older MacBook? They happily automatically connect to our network after entering the password just the once.

Sig, I appreciate you trying to be helpful. I have no idea what issues you were having or what issue exactly pgrounds has been having. Your assumption that everyone's set up is the same as yours is false however. There are many many documented WiFi issues that are a result of Lion installs. Many have been solved by 10.7.1 and 10.7.2. Others have been solved by a large variety of work arounds. Others have not had their issues solved yet.
I am one of those. I have an IT background, and I spent the better of five hours digging up workarounds and attempting all of them. For the benefit oh anyone who is having similar issues, I have posted links to all of those workarounds here. None of them worked in my case, but hopefully they will help pgrounds or others.
So, once again, if you have a new idea, I'd love to here it. But if it has already been posted in one of these links, it's not helpful, let it go.

Is there an issue just signing out? It's a chore entering itunes store password sometimes I agree but there's no way to set a local password on AppleTV - though it's a good idea as you could have a simpler one than for itunes store.
Ordinarily I enter my password for rentals though AppleTV ususally asks if I want it to remember it automatically. If you sign out and sign back in you should get the option.

Yes. Go to the Settings app, and select safari. There will be a section called "Autofill", and you can enable it to save your passwords and auto-fill your personal information taken from the address book. Also, iOS automatically saves all Wi-Fi passwords, so there is no need to save it manually yourself.

I always have "Check for updates but let me choose whether to install them" selected in the Update preferences. FF35.0. still downloaded and began install 35.0.1 process automatically without permission.

As indicated in my original post, I have the "Check for updates but let me choose whether to install them" option selected in the FF Update preferences. And my Mac OS prefs are set to automatically request an administration password before a manual install, but this was by-passed by the auto-update.
The auto-update caught me by surprise -- I had several FF tabs on the go when the update process started, and by the time that I realized it was installing and not just downloading, the process was well underway.

Automatic downloads is for when you download something on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and automatic downloads will download these on your Mac or pc, eliminating the need for syncing. But I have limited bandwidth at home so I do not want this feature. Mine actually stopped bugging me for now, I cruised around the whole community looking for an answer and different things seems to be working for different people. It just seems to be a bug that will hopefully be fixed in an update. For me, I put in my password, even though I didn't want it, made sure it's not set to allow automatic downloads and tested it and it worked. It hasnt bugged me since, but it may come back over time.

I've been having the same problem for about a week now and it's driving me crazy. I've changed passwords in everything to reflect the new protocols (that nobody informed us about, I might add) of having at least one capital, etc. etc., but that hasn't changed anything. They want to create one kind of purchase order for the Office Rent, then pay the fees in the certain time of every month to the vendor for the rent fees without any invoice. Whatu2019s the normal solution for this kind of purchase order? Is it ERS? Or something else?
Please give me the details and business flow. Also please tell me how to setup in the SAP and T-code.

Either you can set up ERS or you can pay directly from the FI side.
Prerequisites
Evaluated receipt settlement must be flagged in the purchase order item.
The vendor must be flagged as being subject to ERS in the vendor master record.
The goods receipt must refer to a purchase order.
Goods-receipt-based Invoice Verification must be defined for the purchase order item.
A tax code must have been maintained in the purchase order item.
The order price of the materials may not be an estimated price.
If you flag a vendor as being subject to ERS, the system sets the ERS indicator as a default in each item when you create a purchase order for the vendor. You can prevent this happening for certain vendors by flagging the info record for the material and the vendor as not being subject to ERS.
In Purchasing, you can delete the default ERS indicator in a purchase order item.
Choose Logistics Invoice Verification ® Automatic Settlement ® Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS).
The selection screen appears.
You can use the following criteria to narrow down selection of the transactions to be settled:
Company code
Plant
Goods receipt posting date
Goods receipt document
Fiscal year of the goods receipt

You can define the selection criteria for the invoice documents by:

You should have set up a password. It is important to have one in order to prevent other users from installing applications and to make your Mac safer.
If you have set up your Apple ID, you can try resetting your user password with your Apple ID > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
