Setting region height to stretchContent="auto"

Hi,
I have the below code snippet in my jspx page to auto stretch the content in a region. This works if my region does not render any table.

                      id="sdf1"
                      stretchContent="auto">

</cust:showDetailFrame>
But if the region contains a table, the table is not rendered correctly. The last column in the table gets shrinked leaving significant blank space on the right side of the layout. Below is the table definition in the region -
<af:panelStretchLayout id="psl1">
     <f:facet name="center">
        <af:table id="t1" width="100%" columnStretching="column:col1" ...../>
    </f:facet>
</af:panelStretchLayout>
Can anyone help me on this?

Try setting both the includeInLayout and visible properties
to false.

The video clip is a single screen capture video clip. This is what I've found by playing around with this more.
The original clip resolution is greater than 640x480. If I use QT Pro to convert the original clip to 640x480 and then use either Flip4Mac or PE7, then the resolution looks good.
Just trying to figure out if should keep all workflow on the MacOS side. There are several different version of Flip4Mac. $49 gives me 640x480, but if I ever want to make it slightly larger then I would need to go with the $99 or HD version.
I also tried to export to AVI with QT Pro and the import with Windows MovieMaker but it didn't work really good. I liked the simplicity (since PE7 hogs a lot of resources especially through VMWare).

Setting Region Attributes

Trying to set some region attributes to control width and height of my region. Unfortunately the settings do not seem to work.
I have entered width=700px, width:700px, "width=700px" and "width=700px", all with no luck.
If I edit the region template directly and replace the #REGION_ATTRIBUTES# tag from the top level div with style=width:700px, all works well.
What am I doing wrong when setting Region Attributes?

Think I got it. Found that the full entry style = "width:700px" seems to do it....

Apple never included the auto-update feature for dates in Pages v5.2.2. You would have to single-click the date, and deliberately update it.
If you have Pages ’09 v4.3 in /Applications/iWork '09, then it will allow you to configure auto-update of the date field. Right-click on the date, set the format, and click the selection for automatically update on open.

I have been trying to set the ui.textarea's height dynamically and I am not able to do it. This is what I am doing.

The height is being ignored and it is set to the default size. How can I set the height of this component to fit to the size of its cell, which is dynamic?

Thank you for your help! It worked for something like this:
getTextArea2().setStyle("color : red");
but this does not work still.
getTextArea2().setStyle("height: 90%");
I think it still does not know the size of the cell at this point yet. But this is a good tip, thanks anyway!

Note that I used a Footer Row in my Table. Headers and Footers have special properties. (A poster in the last couple of weeks asked for a summary of Header and Footer properties - somewhat frustrated that he couldn't find a succinct description in the User Guide. Well, there isn't one and the answer is so complicated that nobody has taken on the project. Now we have a new version of Numbers and the answer would need to change.)
The way to avoid the error is to use a Footer Row and to use the shortcut cell reference notation: =SUMIF(C,TRUE,B). The columns are specified, but the row range is not. Footers are exempt in this notation, so no error is generated regarding a circular reference.
Hope this clears it up.

Setting fixed height in Crystal Reports sections

I want to set the height of detail section in crystal report. I want to set the details section such that it must at the most accommodate 10 records in the section.
If I have only 2 records in the section, it should show 8 empty lines.
If I have more than 25 records in the section, the remaining 15 records will be placed on the next page.
After that, the footer will be printed at the end of it.
Is this possible?

Try this:
1. You can also create a SQL expression field or use a subreport to read how many records that it returns.
2. Have 10 detail section; and
3. In each section, put in all fields; and
4. Have a running total in each section; and
5. For each field in the section, you suppress based on the running total; and
6. Do not suppress blank section; and
7. Set new page if the running total is more than > 10

may be this works for you ---
since u want to adjust the width with the text size.. means that you will be taking an input from the user and then set it on the label.. so before setting the text on the label & width of label .. get the length of the text and set this length as the width parameter to method setPrefferedSize()..
ex:

How to set Panel height to browser height?

I have a panel in a module in an application (App > Module > Panel). I would like the panel to take up the full height of the browser window. How can I achieve this? Trying to set height="100%" doesn't work, and makes the panel disappear. Setting the layout to absolute also doesn't work when setting top and bottom margins to 20.
Any ideas welcome.

There is something odd going on. I did what you suggested, but then the module doesn't display. However, when I remove the percentage-based height tags everything shows up.
It seems that the Panel object is sensitive to height being percentage-based. As soon as I set its height to "500" instead of "100%" it displays.

Setting AFrame height to the height of a graphic inside aframe plus padding

I am trying to set a permanent bottom padding between an anchored frame and a graphic object (embedded Visio) that is inside the anchored frame.
However, instead of getting that padding below the graphic, the aframe becomes really small, and only 20% of the graphic is exposed.
The code goes like this:

Key Command troubles: Set Region/Event Start to SPL Position not working?

Hello,
I'm simply trying to find a key command that will allow me to move regions quickly from one part of a song to another without dragging with them with the mouse in the arrange window. I thought I found the solution with the key command "Set Region/Event Start to SPL Position", however it doesn't seem to be doing anything!
Here's what I've tried: First I select the region I want to move, then I move my SPL to a location using the "go to Position" key command and typing in a bar. I then try to use the "Set Region/Event Start to SPL Position" key command (which I set to Shift-Control-L) and nothing happens. Shouldn't it be moving my region to the SPL? Note: the region is still selected, but refuses to move. Am I doing something wrong? Is this not what this key command was designed to do?
In my attempts to get the darn thing to work, I also discovered that lock screen-set (Shift-L) key command also does not seem to work (it is not toggling the black dot after the screen-set number like usual). Does this mean my key commands may be corrupted? (which would be a real drag!!) Oddly enough, these are the two are the only two that do not seem to be working, as all others seem to be working fine (AFAIK).
I've had this problem in the past with the lock screen-set key command not working, and rebuild all key commands and templates when I upgraded to tiger. I thought everything was working fine!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!!

I assigned F5 to two functions. In the key commands
window, pressing F5 highlighted the first assignment.
Pressing it again highlighted the second assignment.
So just keep pressing the key to see whether it's
assigned to more than one command...
Well, now when I type "Shift-L" into the finder in the top right of the key commands window, no key commands at all are show. However, which I search for the word "lock," the lock screenset key command comes up as "Shift-L." Oddly, if I search any other key commands (such as F1, "cmd-k," or even other shift ones like "shift-," the associated key commands show up.
To test, I changed the screen set lock from Shift-L to "opt-ctrl-L" and it now works again. However, it still will not come up in the key commands window through searching by "opt-ctrl-L"
On what may be a side note, the search feature seems very buggy! Tell me if I'm doing this right: First I open the key commands window, which opens with nothing selected. Now, in order to search by key command I go up to the top right corner where the magnifying glass is, place my curser inside and type in the key command correct? When I do this, it shows me the highlighted key command in the left, and my curser is no longer flashing up in the magnifying glass, correct?
Now, in order to search again, I have to place my curser in the search field again, right? However, now when I search by key command, not all of them register! For example, my "go to position" key command is simply ; but when I type it, nothing comes up in the search, and instead of the magnifying glass window being blank like before, the actual ; is in the box. Oddly enough, searching with "Cmnd-K" still works!
What is going on? Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix this, as it is very frustrating!! thanks again for your help
