How to set the report path in a model plugin

I am trying to figure out how to set the report path in a process model plug-in. I can seem to figure out how to get access to it. It seems like this would be a reasonable thing to do since the plug-ins are for results processing. Does anyone know how to do this? We typically use the Sequential process model but I am trying to keep my plug-in as independent of that as possible.

If I understand, you want your plug-in, when enabled, to alter the settings of any other instances of the NI report plug-in such that their reports share the same directory as your plug-in is configured to use.
If so, your plug-in can access and modify the settings of all other plug-in instances. All instances are passed to all plug-in entries point in the plugins array sub-property of the ModelConfiguration parameter. You can iterate through this array. Any element of the array with a Base.SequenceFilename equal to "NI_ReportGenerator.seq" is an instance of the NI report plug-in. Its report options are stored in the element under PluginSpecific.Options.
You can change the report options to what ever you want. Note that the ReportOptions model callback is called from the Initialize model-plugin entry point, so you might want to ensure that your changes are applied after that, so they aren't overwritten. To do that, you could make your changes in the the Initialize entry point of your plug-in, and ensure that your plugin runs last. To make it run last, you could set the FileGlobals.ModelPluginComponentDescription.Default.Base.RunOrder in your plug-in file to a value greater than 0, such as 1.0 (see TestStand Help>>Fundamentals>>Process Model Architecture>>Process Model Plug-in Architecture>>Structure of Plug-in Sequence Files>>Model Plug-in Entry Points>>Order of Entry Point Execution at Run Time).

Is there a way in Captivate to set the reporting for a quiz so it saves/keeps the highest score despite how many attempts a user takes?

There is currently no built-in functionality to do this in Captivate.
If you are using an LMS, this sort of thing is normally handled there. For example in Moodle there is an option to use the highest score out of all attempts on a course.

Font Color Setting of Report Builder Previewer

Setting the 'reportable' flag for a very large ODS

Hello Community,
I am working on a very large BW system (6 Tb), and we recently have the need to set the 'BEx Reporting' flag on some very large ODS objects.
It was my impression that setting this flag would be easy to do. But the transport that contains this flag for six large ODS objects has already been running for more than 16 hours.
Can you tell me, what actually happens in the database when the 'BEx Reporting' flag is turned on for an ODS ?

if the ODS was already very large, then would you expect the new SID table to also be very large ?
what about the case if a SID value already exists for the characteristic ?

Setting the report layout for HTML format

hi friends
when I generate my report to HTML file and open it to Internet Explorer it disturbs the actual report little bit like enlarging the fonts, hiding some graphical objects like Lines and wrapping the report. so can u tell me that how can I take the same output format in Internet Explorer as in reports previewer? I'm using Reports 6i and Micrsoft Internet Explorer 6.0. thanx.

I think you should make some modification into main section
e.g. increase height and width of the report....and then see...
I had same problem with text output but this method solve my problem hope

T.code FEBC: setting the report RFEBIT00, by default.

when I launch the t.code FEBC, SAP provides me a list of report among which I've to choose the one I need.
But the list doesn't contain the report RFEBIT00..... How to add it to the list?

I've been looking this table and i have here standar tcodes pointing to Z programs for example:
FF.5--> ZRFEBKA00
So maybe you know if there is any other tables like this where you can customize tcodes to run with Z programs.

Setting the report in the wf

I have developed one workflow for pm area. In that workflow I am setting(in the container operation) my report(zmm_call_report).
So in the 'Expression', I assign
Expression B20-000 REPORT Zmm_call_report
Here my problem is 'Why should I give ' B20-000. From where it is coming?
Any tips.

What is your system name and client number - as seen in the lower right corner (popup menu).
Additional tip (perhaps they have defined them with no apparent correlation): check table TBDLS - you should find a LOGSYS value there corresponding to your entry.
It is quite common to define logical system names in the form <system ID>CLNT<client> - but it's a free world.

Print the report title

I allow users to download reports using the Interactive Reports Region.
If you use that method then you can insert a title at the top of the report by populating the Report Region > Print Attributes (TAB) > Page Header
Note: This is available when using APEX coupled with Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher. It does not work with "CSV" output.

Setting the page size of a report to 5.5height and 8.5 width(size-inches)

Hi,
I want to set the report's page size on a dot matrix printer(for PAYSLIP) to 5.5 inches height * 8.5 inches width. But i'm not able to define my own size through the printer(custom size or user defined size). Some how i cannot see the custom size in the printer settings. Is there any way where i can define the size for the report. The report output is genrated to a pdf format. Will the settings remain same once generated to pdf format. Please let me know if there's any solution for this. Its very urgent.

Hide the group tree while previewing the report

Hello! Everyone i would like to hide the group tree which comes in the report while previewing it when i preview the report each time the group tree in the left hand side appears everytime i know i can hide and unhide it from the toolbar in the upperside but i dont want it to dispaly the group tree while previewing it as default , Is it possible to do that.
Pls Help out it will be a great help

Unable to print the report after SP2 (CR 2008 / VS 2008)?

I'm developing an ASP.NET application using VS 2008 (Framework 3.5). I have installed CR 2008 with SP (0, 1, and 2).
I created an invoice report and I printed it as test for the report and it works okay. I needed to change the page size of the report to a user defined size and reset all of the margins to zero.
After I did that I was unable to print the report again and every time I tried to print the report nothing gets printed.
I checked my environment to find the cause of this problem but I found nothing except that I'm using CR runtime for SP1 and I'm currently using SP2. So I did remove CR runtime for SP1 and install CR runtime for SP2.
The problem didn't go away and I faced one more problem.
Usually I'm using a dataset as a data source for my reports. After installing the CR runtime for SP2 I couldn't see any date column in my report data source (Dataset). All other types of columns appear except date fields! Why I have no Idea?
After I do some more testing regarding my issue I found out the following
1. When I add a new report to my web application and I don't change the page setting the report work fine.
2. When I change the page setup settings (Page Margins, horizontal width and vertical height) the report show up okay but never gets printed.
Why I don't know?
Addition to that the report dataset (Data Source) showing in the field explorer never shows any date type field?
All of the above issues happened with me after installing SP2.
OS: WindowsXP Pro SP3
CR 2008 (SP 0, 1, 2)
VS 2008 SP1
Please I need your help.

Using ISCRCommandTable in the Reports Application Server

We have a report that is linked to a Command but the query may be constructed in different ways (using different tables). In past we've pushed the data to the report but I was looking into pulling the data.
I thought it might be possible to create a Command Object then edit the CommandText Property in code using the RAS API (inproc). Though it's possible to set the CommandText this does not seem to effect the data displayed. Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong?

Stop the report from firing until the user clicks the Go button?

Hi All,
Is there a way to stop the report from firing until the user clicks the Go button? At the moment it is populating when I open the dashboard page. I found something online that said i could use the Page Options>Save Current Settings> For Others.. but even though i am signed in as an administrator i only see a For Me.. option. Also, even after setting this option i would like to be able to hit the 'Go' button to run the report and have it uncollapse the section. Is this possible?

In my report i am trying to constrain the report to todays data only. However the only prompt i have is for another column. If i place a filter on the date column with Year=0000 it will not change with the prompt selection and so will never return any results. Is there any other way?
It seems wasteful to fire a request to the database onload of the page. Is there an option to only fire a request what the prompts are entered? I will be using a stored proc which needs parameters to run the request so it would be good to be able to set the report to not run until it has parameters entered
