Setting up new taxes in US in TAXUSJ - to handle federal excise tax

Hi - We use SAP standard US tax setting using jurisdiction code.
We have a new type of taxes - we need to set up - Federal excise taxes. This is only applicable for some materials. We will post document from SD. We are setting a new condition type and SD for posting this taxes.
We are planning to create the same condition in Fi in tax setting and modifying the tax procdure?
Does anybody have any experience on
1. Can TAXUSJ be modified to cater for new taxes? Is there any problem or concern in modifying this procedure?
2 Setting up additional taxes in the system for some item which are in addition to standard tax type in US which are in addition to standard input and output tax?
3. Does anybody have any experience from SD side as to what setting needs to be done and what changes to be done to post tax in the system from SD side?
4. Do we need to set up a new tax code? Any other way than handling as tax code?
5. Any experience where you have used multiple taxes on the same item? Item subject to output tax as well as additional tax)

Managing Federal Excise Tax Intra- and Cross-Company Transfers

We have a business process we need some help on from the financial folks.
Our client manufactures a controlled product that requires Federal Excise Tax to be applied only when the product leaves the bonded warehouse. We are valuing this material at the material and labor costs, plus a state tax if needed, prior to the product shipping. Once the product ships to our distribution centers, some of which are in the same company code and others of which are in a separate company code.
The problem we are having is during the transfer process, we need to apply the federal excise tax at the point (e.g., at the post goods issue) where it leaves the bonded warehouse. It needs to be assessed to some kind of account and transfer the costs to the receiving distribution center, where the value of the material is supposed to include the FET as part of the price.
The clincher is, the entire organization is using moving average price, so it really does have an impact as to how we manage this tax.
The additional problem is that there are limited opportunities where the distribution centers will need to return this material, but the bonded warehouse cannot absorb the FET in their moving average price.
If anyone has seen a scenario like this or has any ideas on how to handle, we would much appreciate.
The process of otherwise transferring the materials (using an NB or a UB purchasing document) works just fine - it is only the application of the tax that appears to be the problem.

We are on ECC 5.0. I looked at this menu path: Under Spro--MM-PUR-Pur Order-Set up Stock transport order----, but then I don't have any option that says: STO Storage loc to loc. All I have is the following:
- Define Shipping Data for Plants
- Create Checking Rule
- Define Checking Rule
- Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule
- Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance
Under the last option, Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance, it seems I can make an entry connecting supplying plant to receiving plant and STO doc type, and so I did that. But the entry here seems to have made no difference, and no mention anywhere about sloc. I still get the same error.
Am I overlooking something?

US Excise tax for Medical Devices

Please specify the simplest implementation of the Manufacturers/Importers US Excise tax for Medical Devices introduced in 2012. We are using TAXUSJ for our sales tax but we'd like standard guidance on best practice for the Excise tax accrual.

For those that do not use Vertex or similar tax application and use TAXUSJ for Sales tax, what is the recommended set up for this Excise tax:

Setting up new macbook pro ,want to transfer music on existing Apple id and then set him up with a new one for future purchases ,can itunes play music from both accounts on one user account?

Title says it all really,son has until now used our itunes account,in future will want to build up own but wants obviously to have access to past musuc/books etc.I was thinking authorise new macbook with existing apple id ,transfer music ,then set up new id for future,if he wants to play old music he will have to log in under old account.
Also want to link to icloud but this will need to be the new id presumeably because you are not allowed to change the computer,does this mean it will only back up the stuff from new account?

I have tried the method of authorizing my computer and then initiating transfer purchases method yet my purchases were not transfered. I was told Apple can put your purchases in a certain place for you to retrieve them in your I-tunes account.
Is there any way you can help me with this problem?

How to set a New Tab as the start page in Firefox and lock in my choice of web sites

You may set the New Tab page Firefox shows when opening a new tab as its start page, and you can lock in the web sites you want displayed there.
I set my browser to open a New Tab as its start page and have locked in six destinations from which to choose on my start page.
First I open Firefox and open a new tab. Then I delete any open tabs other than this New Tab. Optionally, I can also set a second tab to open to a specific web site
Next I go to Tools and Options (or Edit and Preferences in Linux) and select the General tab on the far left. Click on
[Use Current Pages].
Each time I open Firefox it will open showing me the New Tab.
I can select from pages that I have already visited the six pages I want to have appearing on my New Tab every time. Supposing there are no pages locked in yet, and I don't want the site in the top left. I hit the X in its thumbnail's top right corner, it disappears and every other site thumbnail moves up and there is a new site appearing in the sixth slot. Note that if I have visited one page frequently, it may appear more than once, or be replaced by itself. If that happens, just keep deleting until the page you want shows up.
If I find a site that I want to save, then there is a thumbtack in the top left corner of the thumbnail. It is black, but if I click it it turns blue, and the thumbnail is a keeper.
This web site is in the second row, second over, but I want it to be up on the top row. Just drag and drop and the two sites exchange places. Make sure it has a blue thumbtack. The lock-down thumbtacks and delete X symbols appear in the top left and top right, respectively while the mouse is hovering over them.
It is possible to delete a saved site, and it is possible to undo the thumbtack. Simply click the X to delete or click the blue thumbtack to unlock the site and turn the thumbtack black.
You may choose to tack down a few sites and let the remainder float in and out, driven by your browsing history.
Through my use of this approach, I have instant access to my club's web site, two Webmail sites, and some other often-visited places on the Web, all in one start page.
About the only thing I really don't need there is a Google search box, for if I enter my search terms in the address bar I get the same result as if I had specifically typed in the search box.
Some add-ons, often potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), will replace the Firefox about:newtab (address of the New Tab) with eBay, Facebook, Twitter icons among others, and a different search engine. These icons may have a nicer appearance than the default Firefox New Tab, but you may also be looking at extra, unnecessary work for the computer, especially if behind the pretty icons there is a hidden agenda.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

You need to go to the website of your email provider, only there can you change your password, or let them send you a new one to a different address. Thunderbird can't help you with that.

Actually, wrong!! If you try to restore using a computer the phone hasn't synced with, you'll have to enter the passcode into iTunes during the restore.
In my experience, the most effective method for people who simultaneously "forget" the passcode that they had to use many times a day, and mysteriously lose access to the computer the phone synced with, is to ask the rightful owner for the passcode or return the phone to him.
There is another method involving recovery mode, but the OP is on his own for that.
Question: Is is better to let your data "loose", or lose your data?

I really need some help to set a new DocumentBuilderFactory in my application.
I have a new instance of DocumentBuilderFactory with my settings and i need to set it in the application so that it use it to show some special DOM elements.

The normal thing to do with the reference would be to assign it to a variable. Then your application could use the variable, which refers to the factory, to do those things which it is supposed to do.

Setting a new keyboard shortcut

I am trying to set a new keyboard shortcut. I named my New Set, chosen the Product Area, chosen the Command and tabbed to the New Shortcut window. When I try to type in the New shortcut, I can only get 1 letter typed in and then that shortcut pops up(if I try to type Ctrl, as soon as I type C I get a message C copy). Any ideas?

Function assigned was swash
Product Area:Panel Menu
Commands:Character: Open type (swash)
Shortcut is Shift+Ctrl+Alt+M
as I follow in the lesson, using the type tool, the N is highlighted and then the keyboard shortcut is used and the N then has some added curlyques at the beginnig and at the end of the letter.
When I try, it deletes the N and gives the green sign (looks like the symbol for non-joiner with a period beneath it). Not sure why I would get this symbol when I try to insert a swash.
