Settlement rule copied from reference internal order

Hi
How to manage that no settlemnt rule will be copied from reference order into the new internal order I´m creating in transaction KO01? Is it a configuration issue?
Please advise.
Anna

HI,
the reason for creating an internal order "with reference" is to transfer all infos to the new order (even the settlement rule). So after "creation with reference" the settlement rule is copied. If its not the one you need:
1: take a reference order that fits your requirement.
2: for order creation without reference use a "model" order, this "model" order can be assigned to the order type in T-code KOT2_OPA and works similar as a reference, but if the model order does not contain a settlement rule, the created order also does not).
3: change/delete the created settlement rule from the new order.

  • Settlement rule does not exists in order number.

    Hi All,
I have been recieving a error while trying to save the Production order. The error reads as "Settlement rule does not exixts in order". But fact is that order has settlement rule. Also there is a default setting done in order type settlement profile because of which settlement rule is created automatically.
Now there is a way around. We calculate cost manually and then we go to settlement rule and check for error. Once we do so the order is good to save.
But we are not able to save it automaticaaly after release. This issue occurs when we try to release the order and then after releasing the order we try to save it.
Please help us on this issue.

    Hi Prabhakar,
Thanks for your input. But the said setting was already done while implementation. All the material except this material has the issue. We are able to realease the order properly for the material except this one. And since go live we are using this material for first time.
We did a work around. We copied this material and recreated a new material with reviced part number. That one is working fine in lower client. We have now no idea how could one material all the same data like material master and routing and BOM and work centers can work properly whicle failing for other.
We are trying to debug this will let you all know if we find the solution. Till then if you all have any idea any prior experience, please let me know.

  • Partner function not copied from notification to order

    hi
i am using same partner determination procedure for notification and service order. i have defined some new partner functions in the procedure. the problem i'm facing is that only the partner functions which are made mandatory are getting copied from notifictaion to order. however i cannot make all the partner functions mandatory because they may not be relevant for all cases.
is this common behaviour of system and if so is there any solution (without making partner functions mandatory)
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
This is a Standard Functionality . You can try using the below USER-EXIT for your requirement.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_002:
Use this is customer has to be maintained to a specific sales area.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_003:
This suits more of your requirement.
INCLUDE ZXV09U03 - Add your code to copy the specific partner alone to the Doucment if it is an NOTIFICATION TO ORDER alone.
This is used to control the orgin of partners in the Partner determination procedure..
    Hope this helps.

  • Header text to be copied from the sales order to delivery

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which  header text "Customer order text " needs to be copied from the sales order to the delivery. After copying the text we need to print on the packing slip.
Can anyone advise me as how to copy the text from the sales order header to delivery  and then print on the packing slip.
    Thanks ,
    Smitha.

Maintain the Text ID @ Sales Documnet Header level and add it to your Text Procedure. Also ensure you assign the access sequence to your Text ID in your procedure.
Access Seuquence should have VBBK and the text ID number and check All Languages and use Requirement 1.
Then in the Delivery Header Text Procudure add this text ID and assign the same access sequence as above.
This will copy the Text ID from Sales Order to Delivery Order Header.
You can configure the output for packing slipduring the delivery process  and in the output program read this Text ID and print it.
Note" Copy Controls do not copy text from preceeding documents to succeeding documents. Only the Access Sequences used in the Text Procedure will do that with the help of the reuqirement assigned in the same.
    Thanks and Hope this helps.

  • How to Transfer Cost From an Internal Order to Another Internal Order

    Dear Sir,
We had one Internal Order opened for Asset Under Commission (AUC) . We also had opened another Internal Order and cost were booked in this Internal Order also .
Now , we want to transfer the complete cost from 2nd Internal Order to 1st Internal Order . During the Transfer , we want to maintain the same GLs (i.e in 2nd Order the GLs get credited and in 1st Order the same GLs must be Debited)
Pl guide us , how to transfer the cost .
    Regards

You can do a regular FI posting debiting and crediting the same account, with a different internal order in each line item.

  • Change auc from investement internal order

    hi sap experts,
my client has created one internal order with investment profile and assign in auc and now he wants to change the respective auc from internal order.
    for example
They created one Internal order as 70000500 with investment profile
earlier they have assigned auc as 5000035 and now they want to change the auc as 5000044.
i would request to all please guide me how to change the Auc from Internal order .
    regards
    syamala

    Hi All
I believe you cannot change the AUC in KO02 transaction once you have already settled.
There is an option Block/Delete but it was greyed (disabled).
Usually you create the investment order (KO01) and soonafter the AUC and they are linked forever, until the full settlement to asset.
Well if you really need to transfer the expense from the original AUC to the other AUC you could try the Line Item Apportinment.
1-Run KO88 to settle all expenses to original AUC.
2-Run KO88, menu Environment - Line Item Apportinment, update settlement rule for preliminary and try.
In my box, it was not allowed to settled for AUC, maybe for your box is configured.
I dont know if maybe by the FI-AA side you can fix it.

  • PM Order Settlement to Cost Center(real) & Internal Order simultaneously

    Dear Experts.
I have a request from client to settle 100% of PM order to Cost Center (real) and internal order (statistical) simultaneously. The purpose of statistical orders is to capture all the expenses (electricity, water, security charges, maintenance, etc...) location-wise.
PM Order settlement through statistical IO will contribute to  the maintenance aspect, and other expenses will be captured to statistical IO through financial GL posting. Hence each location will have a unique statistical order maintained.
In the settlement Profile, I have maintained Order and Cost Center elements as "Settlement Optional" Under "Valid receivers". But the system doesn't allow this settlement. As per my understanding SAP allows settlement (100%) to go only to a single object.
Appreciate your inputs on this matter.
    Thanks,
    thushantha.

    hi,
Please check how you maintained the real object in the settlement rule.
You must maintain both the cost center and internal order on the same assignment line such as:
    CAT:     Settlement receivers
    ORD      ORD_Number   Cst_Center_number         100%   PER
The system will correctly generate KI178 if you have the following:
    CAT:     Settlement receivers
    ORD      ORD_Number                              100%   PER
    CTR      Cst_Center_number                       100%   FUL

  • How to prevent Copy from Cancelled Sales Orders.

    Hi,
I have a requirement as below.
I want to stop users from Copying a Cancelled Sales Order Lines.
Can anybody please let me know how I can achieve this.
I tried using the processing constraints but couldn't succeed.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Also you can refer the following security rule feature which oracle provides to set your rule from users performing actions like copying, deleting and cancelling.

  • How can I make settlement rule mandatory in create work order (IW31)

How can I make settlement rule mandatory in create workorder and saving without release.
I kanow we can make settlement rule mandatory upon Release order but here requirement is
Create work order (IW21) save without releasing that time settlement rule should default.

    Hi,
1.If you want the settlement rule default then maintain account assignment data in technical object and when MO is created on that it would be copied into the settlement rule...
    2. If you want to make those fields mandatory .... plz check up field selections in config , if you cannot find those then use SHD0 Transaction variant to make those fields mandatory.
    3. Enter SHD0 , Enter IW31 in transaction and ZIW31 for transaction variant ..click create option and this takes you to IW31 initial screen , here enter required values of technical object etc and press enter and this gives you IW31 Initial scree screen variant , click continue and this takes you to inside screen and here enter required field values and on pressing enter gives you screen variant .. so you need to enter field values and check the flow of screen variants and on getting settlement rule screen variant select required option for the fields you need.
    4. Finally you can save that in package created in SE80 for transporting to other client .., you can activate the variant in SHD0 -->Standard variants -->you can find activate option ..

  • Require settlement rule when creating a Prod order

    Hello,
    Hello,
one of our processes is to fabricate complex tools that will be capitalized and depreciated when completed.
while the tools is being fabricated, we would like to settle regularly the production order to a capital order (AUC) and track the budget for the fabrication.
in this production process we want to require the user to enter a capital internal order in the settlement rule of the production order master data..  this way when Prod order is settled we dont have issues.  can you make settlement rule entry as required during production order creation?
any input is appreaciated on the issue. Thanks
    Andy

    Hi,
There is no standart control for this, but I know a PP user exit which excatly meet you requirement.
PPCO0007---User Exit for Checking or Changing Header Fields During Order
You can first control if it is a production order ( ı think it is a special type to produce auc) that you want to control. Then you can select settlement rule and control and give error message settlement rule is mandotory you can not save. The exit sends a signal that it is not possible to save. For error message you can write code into the exit for the message.

  • New settlement Rule (copy of superior rule) in spite of message KD050

    Hi'
I have a setup where WBS level1 is a Billing element.
WBS level 2-3 are Acc. elements
Settlement Rule for Billing element are maintained manual.
Settlement Rule for Acc. elements are copyed from superior rule.
I have generated Settlement rule, the projects are "running", the first settlement has been sucesfully completed.
Now the organisation is changed and the Settlement rule should have a different Profit center.
I put an end period at the Settlement rule at WBS level 1.
I create a new Settlement Rule at WBS level 1.
I put an end period at the generated Settlement rule at WBS level 2-3.
Now I want to generate Settlement Rule again at WBS level 2-3.
That is not possible because a settlement rule already exist.
What can I do to get a new and updated Settlement Rule at WBS level 2-3?
Thank you in advance for advice!
    Kind regards
    Lone Würtz

    Hi Lone,
actually the request was raised by customer some year before, and I have done the implementation.
    After SAP_APP 603, there is a BAdI IF_EX_WBS_SETTLEMENT_RULE_NEW~GET_TEMPLATE
what you need do, is to set the flag 'E_INHERITED_OK' = 'X'.
For a more complex case, you can even change the 'E_TEMPLATE_OBJNR' to use other WBS (instead of direct upplying WBS) as template.
If you have lower Release, where the BAdI  WBS_SETTLEMENT_RULE_NEW is not available, please let me known your customer ID, there is a pilot note as modification for it, I can add it in the pilotlist.
    Kind regards,

  • Weights are not getting copied from quote to order

    Hi All,
While creating sales order items with reference to a Quote the weights are not getting copied (zero shown in weights) even though the material in  quote has weight.
Why are the weights not getting properly from quote to order .

    hi
goto VTAA and select the target document
    click on Magnifying glass symbol
here check whether you have selected complete Reference or not
But if you select this then the system copies the source document completely.
    Procedure
If you mark the field, the system copies the source document into the target document completely. The system also copies the complete reference indicator. You cannot change the indicator in the target document.

  • Control the combo box select of COPY FROM in Delivery Order

    Dear all
I have a requirement where in the user wants to restrict the "copy from" button on the delivery order. They want the delivery orders to be created only from Sales orders.
So that would mean that i do a bubbleevent = false when any other row is selected in the combo box dropdown. But I am not able to get the control to the combobox.
In the system information it says that the form is "-9876", but couldnt catch any event on it either.
Any suggestions to control the selection of the "COPY FROM" combobox is most welcome.
    Thanks in advance

  • Settlement of a project to internal order?

    Hi Experts
In a customer project  we have RA and settlement as a period end process but as COPA is not configured, So can we settle it to internal order? or is it advisable to settle to internal order?
    thanks..
Edited by: SAP PS on May 25, 2011 7:48 PM

    Hi,
It is better to settle to a G/l account. for this we need to set in the alocation structure receiver as G/L and settlement cost element with cost element category 21 or 22 (internal or external settlemet) based on the receiver. with this what happens at any given point of time we can see the detailed reports cost element based as well at G/L level also.
    Thank you
