Setup.exe gives a "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number"
I ran the Adobe Customization Wizard XI to create a transform file and now when run setup.exe it always come with the error "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number".
It does the same thing when using msi with the command : msiexec /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /qb!

I don't know what goes wrong as took my serial number on my profile from the adobe web site, same thing for the download of the software.
Does it means that the serial number provided was invalid for deploying ?
NB.: My goal is to deploy our Acrobat XI through SCCM in silent mode and I don't know if there is extra consideration for that. For now it's only not working at the command line.
Another important point is that the install works great without customization ! If I just run the setup.exe from freshly extracted files and I use my serial number, everything is working fine.
So what goes wrong ?
Thanks for the reply brogers_1 and Vinod Dbhal, you gave good hint.
I retried installing the initial package in French on a Windows 7 English and the software installed properly in French.
As I used to work with virtuals for those tests, I rolled back my virtual and redo my test installation with chosing to install it in English on my Windows 7 English and again the installation finished properly but I was surprised when I realized that even if I chose English as language, the software was running in French !
Of course I can change the language settings (in the edit-preferences-language) to follow the operating system witch is nice.
That gave me the cue I needed to know. I started from scratch my customization with choosing only the French language in the "Application Languages" and I left the MUI Languages blank and saved the .mst
I ran again the same command : msiexec /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /qb!
And everything works fine.
NB.: As I used the .msi directly, of course I had to install the prerequirement Visual C++ 2010 first. Otherwise the installation failed without any error message.
Thanks again to you for your good hint,
Bob

I have a problem with the error "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number" recurring.
I am trying to install Acrobat XI Std silently by SCCM.
I've used the Adobe Customisation Wizard to create a mst which include the volume serial number we have with our licence purchases. Note that I am in Australia. I use the command line in SCCM for the install as "msiexec /i "AcroStan.msi" TRANSFORMS="D&B_AcroStd.mst" /qn" which fails silently. If I install on a local machine using an admin command prompt and changing to /qb at the end, I get the aforementioned error.
I have a few things to try and resolve, having searched the adobe forums and other forums for the solution. The mst is only trying to install US English & I have even gone so far as to use the direct editor in the customisation wizard and change some values in the property table to resolve this. In the property table I can confirm that LANG_SEL_DEFAULT = ENU, REGIONAL_LIST = ENU, LANG_LIST = en_US, ProductLanguage = 1033
Is there a way to check the language specified for ym serial number?
BryndonUpdate on a couple of details:
@Sabian,
Thanks for the location, I've downloaded and then when I tried an install of the newly extracted msi (admittedly on the same computer) I got exactly the same issue. Of note though is that running /qf automatically brought up the same serial number and the same incorrectly spelled company name. Installing on another computer (freshly imaged) doesn't have those inputs already present under /qf. Next when I try using the transfrom (a new one) with /qr it gives an error of the serial number, displaying the entire serial.
@Sebastian
I've had a look through yours and it seems our issues could have the same origin. Looks like I may have to call customer support regarding the serial number as Sabian suggested in your thread.
The bit that gets me is when the same serial number is used in a manual install (or /qf) then it installs ok without any errors. -
I have been trying to update my cc info but for some reason it has kept saying the cc info did not match with the bank info so the transaction failed every time I made an attempt to download something even it was free. However, I saw my cc online got charged $1.00 everything I was trying to update my cc info ...why?
Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. I dont think it is fair to have to pay that as well. In addition, because I have an east coast phone number but live on the west coast, I cannot have tech support after 8pm. Verizon has cut this off. Im very dissatisfied and I have been a customer of Verizon for 13 years. Im hoping for a response this time.

Playlist in local PC does not match the playlist on the cloud?
I have a Mac as primary iTunes library and turned on iTunes Match & uploaded all to cloud. Now I turn on iTunes Match on another Windows PC but the playlist in the local PC does not match the cloud. Please help.
Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't work for me. For whatever reason, when I re-enable iTunes Match on my iOS device (iPad) after clearing the Music app out, it repopulates with with all sorts of "junk" old playlists and folders I've formerly deleted. I wish it would match my cleaned up library on my PC and said corresponding playlists and folders...but it doesn't. Some of the playlists match, but many don't. These same rogue "junk" lists periodically re-appear in my PC library too--no matter how many times I delete them. Frustrating. If anyone has a word of advice for me, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks.

CALL DOES NOT ROUTE OUT THE LOCAL GATEWAY
Local calls will not route out the local Gateway of branch1 to the PSTN or from the PSTN back to branch1, however they will route out either CorpHQ or branch2 backup gateways. When I go into the route group configuration for branch1, and remove the backup gateways, I get a fast busy tone when I dial the local number. I know the MGCP Gateway at branch1 is functioning because when I dial 911 and run debug ISDN Q931, the call routes properly through branch1, so I have a call routing problem. I ran DNA and it came back as ROUTE THIS PATTERN and all of the number translations looked accurate, so I didn't have to check for any block patterns. I'm not getting any errors on the calling party phone display. When I deleted the route pattern for the branch1 site and forced it to use the global route pattern, I received a debug output on branch1. I do not know a debug command (such as debug voip dial-peer or debug ccsip messages) to use for an MGCP Gateway to see if the call is actually reaching the Gateway.
I have checked the following:
the route pattern configuration
the translation pattern configuration
the called party transformation pattern configuration
the route list configuration to make sure the correct route group for branch1 was selected
the route group configuration to make sure that the branch1 Gateway was first in the order of selected devices
the route pattern configuration to make sure the correct route list for branch1 ist selected
the Gateway configuration to make sure it's using the device pool for branch1 and to make sure the called party transformation CSS for the branch1 Gateway is applied
the device pool configuration to make sure it's using the route group branch1
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Regards,
RonHi Nishant:
Please see the attachments for the Gateway pages
The significant digits for inbound calls for all 3 gateways is '4'
Please see the running-configs of the 3 gateways and the PSTN
Please see the debugs for the INBOUND calls
Many Thanks,

hi
A PO has posted, goods r received but the invoice is not matching with the PO as the TAX was reduced after posting. PLz clarify
can some explain the issue plzHi,
1. You are talking about which tax (Is it Excise Duty + CST/VAT) if yes then you can post the Excise invoice with correct duty amount in J1IEX and then same will get defaulted in MIRO as per the duty posted in Excise Invoice not as per PO.
If you have already posted the excise invoice then go for cancellation of same in J1IEX and then cancel GR and Post excise invoice to reverse Part 2 entries and then again do GR and Post Excise invoice with correct amount and then do LIV.
2. If it is only CST / VAT then simply use the appropriate tax code in MIRO as per the revised tax rate.
For e.g. if in PO Tax code is 4% VAT and now if you get invoice of say 1% VAT from vendor then simply select the tax code of 1% VAT in MIRO similarly can be done in case of CST and Service Tax also. Only in case of Excise duty you have to follow the above method. -

Some employees designations are not matching with their actual designation
Hi All,
While downloading to excel sheet some employees designations are not matching with their actual designations maintained in infotye 0001.
Designations should match with infotype 0001.
How to rectifty this issue.
Let me know...
Regards,
SitaHi
Looks like you are dowloading the value from a field which does not contain the value you see in the infotype screen
In infotypr 0001 place your cursor in the designation field.
Press F1
See the name of the field & the table.
Have a look at the table using se16 and confirm what you see in the field is what you see in the infotype screen.
If it is same see in your code if you are using correct field.
If it is not the same trace in which table and field the value is stored and code your program to download from there.
Check in Tables HRP1000 and PA0001 and you should get your values

iTunes randomly stops playing purchases that have previously viewed on the same hardware. It has an error message about HD. How can this issue be resolved? What information is available besides the "learn more" option that does not deal with the problem?
Many people have the same problem. However, there is little or nothing readily available to users. This problem has existed for two or more years. Does anyone have anything to offer about this disturbing problem? Thanks for the suggestion kcell. I've tried both versions
9.0.115 and 9.0.124 and both fail with the policy permission error.
I also tried with and without your crossdomain.xml file but
with the same result. It looks like this file is intended for URL
policy, instead of socket policy. Recently Adobe separated the two.
When I run with the files installed on my dev PC, it does
work, which makes sense because the flash player isn't loaded from
an unknown domain.
I did get one step closer. If a crossdomain.xml in the server
root exists and the socketpolicy file is loaded from the app folder
then the first two warnings disappear. The logs now show:
OK: Root-level SWF loaded:
https://192.168.2.5/trunk/myapp.swf
OK: Policy file accepted: https://192.168.2.5/crossdomain.xml
OK: Policy file accepted:
https://192.168.2.5/trunk/socketpolicy.xml
Warning: Timeout on xmlsocket://192.168.2.5:843 (at 3
seconds) while waiting for socket policy file. This should not
cause any problems, but see
http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files
for an explanation.
Warning: [strict] Ignoring policy file with incorrect syntax:
xmlsocket://192.168.2.5:993
Error: Request for resource at xmlsocket://192.168.2.5:993 by
requestor from https://192.168.2.5/trunk/myapp.swf is denied due to
lack of policy file permissions.
Which basically says, everything is okay, but you stay out
anyway.
PS: I found the XML schema files here:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/fplayer9_security_02.html
and the socket policy schema:
http://www.adobe.com/xml/schemas/PolicyFileSocket.xsd.
UPDATE: When serving up the policy file on port 843 using the
example perl script then the socket connection seems to be accepted
and the connect succeeds. After that flex hangs trying to logon to
the IMAP server. -

Thanks
Jibin.Sure. Tried two ways:
a)
1. Delete existing System-PSE
2. Import SAPSYS.PSE
3. System-PSE remains empty (red x)
Leaving STRUST and calling it again: No System-PSE
b)
1. Create new System-PSE ok - everything is in place
2. Import needed SAPSYS.PSE
3. Certificate field is populated with that data
Leaving STRUST and calling it again: The imported SAPSYS.PSE data is gone and System-PSE is coming up with newly created certificate data
Example:
1. Create New

Object has been disconnected or does not exist at the server
Hi,
I have a report which had run daily without any problem for months. Now it stops after quite a lot of time with error: 'object .rem has been disconnected or does not exist at the server'.
I have checked the dataset queries and the parameters, and everything is fine. I changed the timeout for the report as well, but it did not help either. I don't use a hidden object.
Could anyone tell me what's happening?
Many thanks.
P.I'm using 2008. I had thought the bug was fixed in it during the past 4.5 years.
And what is a 'bad default'? And how come that the report worked for a long time without problems? If it is a known bug, it should have prevented proper running from the beginning.
Hi Pelso,
This issue has been fixed in SSRS 2008R2. If you need to fix this issue in a previous release of Reporting Services, I would suggest opening a case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) (http://support.microsoft.com),
so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist you in a more efficient manner.

Some Flash files does not work in the Portal
Hi,
Anybody know why I have problems viewing some flash files in Content Management in the portal?
The file extention is .swf
I have a number of files. All of them works locally. When uploading them, there are a few of them that does not work.
They can simply not be showed. Not in JSP and not by clicking on them. Very strange.Hi Flemming,
this could be a compression problem. Try to disable output compresssion for .swf files and the corresponding mime type 'application/x-shockwave-flash'. Click <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/ad/08d52d6d95864492a6a5931bb62716/frameset.htm">here</a> for more information how to disable compression.
Regards, Roland
PS: disabling compression for .swf is no performance problem, because they are already compressed. -

Setting as the default browser
Mozilla Firefox Installation Finished: 2011-06-16 13:11:23The usual cause of that type of error is incorrect programming of the web server. The file is being sent with the wrong content-type, and since the browser uses that to determine how to handle the file, it does not treat it correctly. You could try the extension Force Content-Type to correct the content-type of that file.

nothing works. ive also tried to update my phone and it tells me it cant reach the server and to check my network settings or try again later =[ i dont know what to do and im furious!
I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.
Fixed the problem. Give it a try and good luck! -
I visited a local site which published in local language(Sinhala language) The site provides the font to be installed to visit the site. I installed that font and tried to visit the site, but can't read as font not supported. restart also not solved. With IE it support and Firefox 5.0 not.
