Setup Problem with LaserJet CM2320

I have installed the HP LaserJet Scan software, which allows at startup to choose from different setups oder define a new setup. However when scanning, th chosen setup has no influence.
The same software was functioning very well before I had to install everything new.
Any Idea how to solve this problem. Thanks.
Dan

  • Remote Delta link setup problem with Bean / Access Service

    Hello,
I am trying to setup Remote Delta Link (RDL) between two portals. (Both portals same version - EP 7.0 EHP1 SP 05 - are in the same domain)
I already have the Remote Role Assignment working without any issues.
The following have been done successfully:
    1. Same user repository has been setup for both the portals
    2. Setup trust between producer and consumer (SSO working fine)
    3. Producer added and registered succesfully on consumer
    4. Permissions setup on producer and consumer
    4. pcd_service user with required UME actions setup
I am able to see all the remote content in the Consumer portal.
When I try to copy the remote content and paste it as local content, I am getting the following error:
Could not create remote delta link to object 'page id'. Could not connect to the remote portal. The remote portal may be down, there may be a network problem, or your connection settings to the remote portal may be configured incorrectly.
After increasing the log severity, I am able to see the following in Default Trace:
com.sap.portal.fpn.transport.Trying to lookup access service (P4-RMI) for connecting to producer 'ess_int' with information: com.sap.portal.fpn.remote.AccessServiceInformation@31c92207[connectionURL=hostname.mycompany.com:50004, shouldUseSSL=false, RemoteName=AccessService]
    com.sap.portal.fpn.transport.Unable to lookup access service (P4-RMI) with information: com.sap.portal.fpn.remote.AccessServiceInformation@31c92207[connectionURL=hostname.mycompany.com:50004, shouldUseSSL=false, RemoteName=AccessService]

    [EXCEPTION]
com.sap.portal.pcm.admin.exceptions.DirOperationFailedException: Could not retrieve the bean / access service to connect with producer
Could not retrieve the bean / access service to connect with producer
Like you can see above, there is some bean / access service which is not retrieved successfully. I am not sure if this is a permission problem on the consumer.
I have checked that the P4 ports are configured correctly (standard - not changed) and I am able to telnet from producer to consumer (and vice versa) on the P4 port.
I am stuck at this point and am not able to find any information on this.
I would really appreciate if some one can point me in the right direction.
    Thank you for reading.

    Hi Raj,
Please check your config of the P4 port on the producer.  Is it really 50004 (check SystemInfo of the producer)?
I do think there's a problem with the P4 communication since RDL requires P4 connection.
Do you have load balanced consumer-producer connection? Please refer to this blog for further details

  • Setup problem with WRT55AG

I just got this router today, and I have been trying to set it up for the past 6 hours now and I am vary frustrated.
I put the CD in and follow the directions step by step.
I get all the way up to step 9 and it wont go any further.
At step 9, it says its configuring the router.
During this time, the router and my connection go on and off sevral times before it ends with no internet connection was detected.
Just to maybe find an idea of what the problem may be, I went out and got the wireless adapter for my xbox360 and checked to see if it could connect.
It found the router over the wireless feature.
It was given an IP by the router, it was also given a subnet mask, and a gateway.
I ran a test on the network connection and it detected it as wireless, it found the router and was given an IP, but when it got to the DNS checker, it failed.
    Why, I do not know.
How to fix this, I do not know.
Note, this is not about the xbox, I just used it as a tool to test the network.
If anyone know how to get past this step, I would like that vary much.
    Note:
Since the setup prosess was not compleated.
I can not accsess the router or any of its features or config pages yet.

ok 14 hours is quite a bit ...here is what you do .
unplug the modem from the router. kepp the power to the router turned on. Then hold down the reset buootn for 1 Minute. release the reset after a min and unplug the power from the router as well.
Now turn on the modem first.wait for 1 min and then turn on the router.restart your PC.
Once the PC is back up, check if you are able to go online.if yes, cool. if not ....open the router page using http://192.168.1.1 the password is "admin" (no need for the cd....keep it someplace safe) ....
once in the setup, click on the status page and check if you have an "internet IP address" ( you have not mentioned if you are using a cable or a DSL connection , who is your ISP ? )
be as it may....lets try and config your XboX ....click on the setup page of the router and look for "MTU" ...change to manual and put in 1365 as the value.
This should help you....in case this does not , let me know who you ISP is and what model modem you have.

LaserJet CM1312 MFP seems to be stacked in an infinite reboot loop. While was sending a fax it rise the error of full memory and start the power cycling but never get to properly restart. After disconnected from the power source and be like that several days it start up properly and printing right. When we intended to use the fax function the same thing happened. Since then it never starts up.
First appear the blue screen with the HP logo and the progress bar, the motor inside is in function. The screen changes to the “black” screen and the ready & exclamation sign leds are blinking. At this point I can access the printers menu, but after several second restarts again. When I don’t touch the printer, after the black screen the leds remain in on and the display becomes white. • Wireless Connection Problem with Laserjet Pro MFP M126nw (HELP) :(

I have Laserjet Pro MFP M126nw just bought it last day.
Everthing working fine but i can't able to connect it to my wireless router via WPS PushButton or PIN tried both many times but failed.
I also reset my Router even changed the security level to
    ·  WEP key encryption using either Auto or Open authentication
    ·  WPA and
    ·  WPA2
Tried many times but it says connection failed on the LCD Display.
I have Linksys WRT120N wireless router.
    Please help its urgent!

    Hi @AjayKareer,
I understand that you are unable to setup the printer on the wireless network. I can help you with this.
Make sure the network name doesn't have any spaces or special characters. The printer won't recognize it.
    Restore the printer defaults.
On the printer control panel, press the Setup button.
Press the Right Arrow, to select the Network Setup, and then press OK.
Press the Right Arrow, to select the Restore Defaults, and then press OK.
I have provided a document with some steps for setting the printer up on the network.
Installing the Printer Software on a Wireless or Wired (Ethernet) Network.
Configure the wireless by a Ethernet connection if the issue persists.
Print a configuration page to get the printer's IP address.
    Printing a Configuration Report.
Then type the IP address into Internet Explorer's address bar to bring up the printer's web page.
Select the networking tab, wireless on the left hand side.
Fill out all your network information, select infrastructure, select your network name, put in the password and type of Encryption if you have this setup or Open for no password. Apply settings.
    Then disconnect the Ethernet cable.
Then wait a minute to see if you get a wireless light on the printer, print the configuration page and check the IP address again. Then type the IP address into Internet Explorer's address bar to bring up the printer's web page. That way you will know that the printer is now networked.
    Then run the installation.

  • 7.1 Setup problems with X-Fi Card

I just installed the Soundblaster X-Fi card and hooked it up a new set of GigaWorks S750 7.1 speakers.
The problem I?m having is that I'm getting almost all of the sound out of the front 2 and center speakers and very little (almost like a bleed over effect) out of the side and rear speakers.
When I run the THX assignment test (or any of the tests to get the speaker placement and settings) to see if the sound is coming out of the correct speakers I get very strange results. The front left, front center, and front right speakers all sound fine and you can only hear the test coming out of the speaker that you are testing as it should be. However, when testing the side and rear speakers I can hear the test faintly in them and very well from the front speakers (when testing the side right speaker I can hear 'side right' from the side right speaker but mostly from the front right speaker at a ratio of like 90/10 in favor of the front speaker, the same goes with the rear speakers).
I would imagine that if you test the rear right speaker you should just hear the test coming from the rear right speaker, not mostly from the front right speaker. There must be something screwed up with the way that the speaker settings are set up, but I can't figure out what to do to get the speakers to all pull their own weight.
BTW, everything is connected and hooked up correctly to the soundcard and the speaker wires are all connected as they should be. The system is setup in 7.1 in both the Windows advanced audio properties and the Soundblaster software.

Well, after testing this in a game I've noticed a problem. With CMSS-3D enabled I'm getting complete surround sound from all speakers (great for listening to music, but I'm getting no locational sound in that setup - i.e. if something makes a sound from behind the character I'm hearing the sound from all the speakers). By disabling CMSS-3D I'm only getting sound out of the front right, center, front left speakers again and no locational sound in this fashion either.
I imagine that if you are testing the speakers and you test the front right speaker you should only hear the response from the front right speaker, and when you test the side right speaker you should only hear the response from the side right speaker, but I can't seem to get this to work. Sound is either only coming out of the front speakers or it's coming out of all the speakers, either option is acceptable and I know it has something to do with how the sound system is set up but I can't figure out what I need to do to get everything working correctly.
Basically when I test the speakers (in the volume panel or the THX Setup Console) I want to hear the test response for the front right speaker only coming from the front right speaker and the test response for the left side speaker only coming from the left side speaker. This is not happening and I'm pretty sure it should be, everything is hooked up correctly so it has to be something in the setup.

  • E75 email setup problems with 210.12.15

Corporate email and gmail have worked fine for a year, but after 210.12.15 upgrade started first to have synch problems. After shutting of the E75 it now loses email setup information and just keeps asking passwords. I have tried resetting to factory defaults and restoring phone data, but still not able to sync email. Trying to setup email from scratch also gives error message in the beginning and is not able to connect to the server. 210.12.15 included changes to the email software, so it is the obvious candidate, but I haven't seen any other people with the same problem?
    80's user

    Hi,
after repairof keyboard, E75/ FW 210.12.15 was installed. I've not only problems connecting to my home WIFI network for checking mail (MAC filtered and with WEP key), I also can't connect to Internet thru this WIFI network. Checked with another open WIFI network and did not succeed either.
I've indeed noticed changing some settings were not stored.
Aonther thread mentions FAT of memory card corrupted, letting E75 reboot spontanuously. Formatted my microSD card. Still rebooting unexpectedly.
I find it strange this version is not on official Nokia support site.
    Hope we can find solution.

  • Q5 initial setup problem with WIFI and agreement

    Hi guys;
It’s my first day with my BB Q5,I started as the manul said but at the very beginning i faced a strange problem. As manual say’s i must connect to mobile network or WIFI.I got 2 wifi networks at my office.I get connected and Hotspot login say’s "Your BB device is now connected to the internet.
Swipe left to continue but after few seconds it say’s "unable to connect to the network. Please try changing your settings"
    What shall i do now?
I tired with and without simcard also tried diffrent wifi connections but none helped

    Hi,
thanks for your comment, actually I tried several ones even without hotspot, but it didn't work, however my problem resolved while I got out of country and tried anothe hotspot WiFi and it is very quickly doen and I passed agreement page.
simply country IP was blocked in Blackberry servers, it means anyone want to connect from IRAN IP can not pass agreement pafe in initial setup.
and you ask your self why

  • Simple setup problems with JSTL and Tomcat

Hi all, I'm having some problems getting JSTL to work the 1st time. JSTL setup seems to be a common problem for relative newbies, but having read previous threads, I still haven't been able to solve my problem so hopefully someone can help:
    the jstl.jar and standard.jar are in my WEB-INF/lib directory, so I don't think it's a classpath problem.
My jsp page has the following at the top:
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>Later, I reference a bean var with :
    <c:out value="My var is : ${var.property}"/>In my web.xml I have:
      <taglib>
       <taglib-uri>http://java.sun.com/jstl/core</taglib-uri>
       <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/lib/jstl.jar</taglib-location>
</taglib>And I've placed the actual tld (c.tld) in the WEB-INF directory.
On startup I get the error when compiling the JSP:
No such tag out in the tag library imported with prefix c
    Can anyone help here?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

I think this note from the JSTL mailing list by Shawn Bayern, one of the lead developers of Jakarta JSTL and the author of "JSTL In Action", will clarify it:
    http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg04587.html
Don't put that <taglib> in your web.xml. All the books tell you to do it, but Shawn Bayern has the right answer. The URI should be the one that's in the TLD JAR .tld files.
I use JSTL and Tomcat 4.1.24 without the <taglib>, and it works fine. - MOD

  • Email account setup problem with Messages app

Having recurring problems lately with a Rogers pop3 email account not syncing properly in the Playbook Messages app, unless I'm on a wifi connection. Continually tells me it's encountered an unexpected problem connecting to the Rogers server when only bridged through my phone. Is something screrwing up, or is the app designed for wifi only? I don't recall this problem originally.
Also having all kinds of fun setting up the account and having it complete the process properly. It tells me it can't connect with the server/it's not available at this time, blah blah blah. Tried just entering the email address and letting the tablet do its thing; have used multiple settings in the Advanced setup, as verified by using the EVAT tool (though it seems to only have PC, not Playbook options). Again, maybe this is just a wifi-only issue(?), but even on wifi setup seems iffy.
    Duh

Rogers has different setting for home and mobile use and it can be painful to deal with
Basically they lock it down for one use or the other and not for both.
It was inteneded to be used only with your home PC and not a mobile device and some ISP have made changes to allow it
POP protocol isnt that robust and if possible use IMAP or better to use exchange active sync if possible (not all ISP use IMAP or EAS)
I gave up on it and switched to outlook.com

  • Setup problems with the WRE54G Expander

My router is the WRK54G and its hooked up to my PC on the main floor family room. My notebook (Wireless card: Intel Proset/Wireless 3945ABG) is on the 2nd floor. I set up the expander and the link is blue showing a successful connection. The problem I am having is the signal strength is still very poor (-88dBm) I have moved the expander to different location in my house and the signal is still poor. I tried setting up the expander with the setup wizard software and the network setting cannot detect my wireless card. What can I do to get a better signal on the second floor.

    Hi,
I am also using an Intel ProSet driver, Sony Vaio laptop, and have no trouble connecting.
Try starting up your Intel ProSet utility and check you have the following:
    General Tab:
Network Name (SSID): (should match your network SSID)
Profile Name: (whatever, I use my SSID)
    Mode: Infrastructure (AP)
Security: WEP (if your Router has security set on)
    Speed: 54 MBPS
    Band 802.11g
Channel: 6 (or whatever channel your routher is on)
    802.1x Protocol: Disabled
    Hardware radio switch: On
    Switch radio - On
Networks Tab: A list of available networks should appear. If not, hit the Scan button and pick your network. Make sure your SSID shows up under Network name column and that there is a little radio beacon in the far lefthand column indicating you are associated with the correct router/AP (I have between 4 and 6 neighbors APs show up). You may need to go into your router setup to enable SSID broadcast for trouble shooting if you have turned it off (or you may not be able to "see" you are connecting to the correct Router).
Under Networks Tab, Advanced Settings: Connection Preferences should be set to Connect to ad hoc networks (first or third choices should work). Wireless mode selection should be set to "Connect to both 802.11g and 802.11b". 11b/11g mixed protocol should be set to "CTS to self enabled". Both boxes under Advanced security should be checked.
Back out to the Networks tab screen that lists the available networks and Double Click the SSID of your network. A screen should popup labeled Profile Wizard. In the Profile Wizard dialog box there are 4 tabs. Under the General Tab check that the SSID is correct and under Operating mode, the Infrastructure button should be selected. Uncheck Enable Cisco Extensions. Under Security Tab: Network Authentication should be Open, Data Encryption should be WEP (if you are using WEP), under Encryption Key settings: Check "Set Manual Key", confirm Encryption level matches your Router (128 bit on mine), check your Hex Key is correct (reenter or cut/paste from your Router setup utility), uncheck "802.1x Enabled"; Under Advanced Tab: all but last should be unchecked (only check is on "This profile can be used by all users").
    Adapter Tab: Doesn't matter
If that's all OK, go into the Range Extender Web utility (192.168.1.240), make sure the Mode is set to Mixed, SSID matches your Router and Laptop SSID including the case (for example, use all upper case letters), Channel is set to the same number as Router and Laptop, Security is Enabled  if on on your Router and Laptop, go into "Edit Security Settings" button and check that Security Mode is set to WEP, Default Transmit Key is correct (use 1), WEP Encrypption is same (mine is 128), and that the Key Hexadecimal numbers are same as on your Laptop and Router and that the same Key is being used on all (ie Key 1). Note that if you generated the Keys from a passphrase, the keys will be differ if the capitalization of the passphrase differed between your Router, Laptop, and Range Expander.
If all this is OK and seems to match, I would temporarily disable security on the Router, Laptop and Range Extender and retry. Hope that helps

  • Setup Problems with New AirPort Extreme and Dell Desktop XP with ethernet

I have a Dell desktop computer at home with a cisco cable modem connected to Comcast. I am trying to setup a new wireless network using new AirPort extreme so that new iPad can use wireless.
Connections seem to work but when running the AirPort Utility, it doesn't find my base station. The Dell doesn't have wireless. Does the Airport Utility only work via wireless? Or can it work across the ethernet connection?
    I'd appreciate anyone's help.
    Thanks.

Hello VL Crew. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
Does the Airport Utility only work via wireless?
No, the AirPort Utility will work whether your computer is connected to the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) by wire or wireless.

  • Setup problem with RV110W

After nothing but hassles with my Linksys WAG120N, I bought a  Cisco RV110W. Yesterday, I tried setting it up with the Linksys being used only as a modem. I was unable to though because when I entered 192.168.1.1 into my browser as per the Cisco setup instructions, I was taken to the admin login for the Linksys. This seemed odd to me, because the Linksys was not connected to the PC at all. The connection setup was exactly as specified in the RV110W instructions: modem connected to dsl line,  ethernet cable from modem (Linksys WAG120N) to the slot marked "WAN" on the RV110W, another ethernet cable from RV110W to my PC. Despite this, the admin page was for the linksys not the cisco.
Today, I exchanged the WAG120N for a Netgear DM111P, just a modem, not a router. Same setup configuration: modem connected to dsl line,  ethernet cable from modem (NetgearDM111P) to the slot marked "WAN" on the RV110W, another ethernet cable from RV110W to my PC. Same result - type in 192.168.1.1 and get taken to the admin page for "Netgear DM111P"
Clearly, there's a serious PEBKAC situation here, but what exactly is it? Any help resolving this will be very gratefully received.

    Stuart,
When you disconnect the router from the modem you will not have internet access. The only web page that should load is http://192.168.1.1
Once you get to the router setup page, go to Networking-> LAN-> LAN Configuration. At the top of that page you will see Local IP Address: 192.168.1.1 You need to change that address to avoid conflict with the modem(s) and press "Save" at the bottom of the page.
