what does shipment on hold mean ? my ipad 2 is supposed to be delivered on june 2 and now june 3 it said shipment on hold ... in the philippines.. any advice or answers ?? thanks :D

Yep.....contact Apple.  We're just users here and wouldn't have a clue why your shipment may be on hold.

    On Oct 24, 2013 I received a new invoice with a different ship date of Nov 12-14, 2013 and will be deleveried in 5 to 7 days after it is shipped.
    How can I have a iMac ordered, built to my configuration and shipped and made it half way to my home to be on delay and then be built again and shipped again?
    I ordered my Apple iMac and misc. other items that totaled $4200.00 and part of it has been delivered already. Now the main item is being delayed for the last 9 days and then I receive a new invoice? I don't get it. Why do they have it on delay for 9 days when it could have been delivered long ago. I should be enjoying the new iMac not being upset about the current events that are unfolding. I am loosing my confidence in Apple!

    Thank you Klaus1 for your reply. I have contacted DHL and for 5 days now they haven't replied to my request. Also I know the order will be released when they want to release it. That's the breaks I guess. The other part of my question was about the second invoice and shipment from Apple. Have they lost contact in their computer of the first shipment or what? If so they need to get it together and fix what could be a big problem not only for me but so many more.

  • Is that any problem that i used HK sever to purchase ipad2 and would like to ship to Switzerland??

    I used apple HK sever to placed the order while i am in Switzerland now, I checked that even i typed my switzerland address for the shipping destination, the system default"HK" as my address country and i still cannot receive the products now.

    seit dem JAVA Update vom 10.05.2012 von Apple erscheint in Verbindung mit OS X 10.7. beim Online-Frankieren (DHL) mit dem Java Applet die Fehlermeldung:  "Signatur wird nicht erkannt". Fenster des Java Applets ist leer.
    Das Problem ist DHL bekannt und sie arbeiten mit Hochdruck, gemeinsam mit Apple, an der Fehlerbehebung. Eine kurzfristige Übergangslösung befindet sich bereits im Test.
    Vorab müssen folgende Einstellungen vorgenommen werden:
    1.) Drucker freigeben (Systemeinstellunge>Freigaben> Haken bei Druckerfreigabe und Haken beim Drucker setzen, Freigabe für JEDEN aktivieren)
    2.) Jave aktivieren (Dienstprogramme>Java Einstellungen, Registerkarte "Allgemein" Haken bei den Java Versionen setzen)
         Umgehungslösung
    3.) zusätzlich die Java Version 1.7 ( Hinweis: Betaversion http://jdk7.java.net/macportpreview/ ) installieren
    Wichtig dabei ist, dass die Version 1.7 installiert wird ohne die "alte Version" vorher zu entfernen, danach funktioniert es (getestet mit Safari).
    Ich hoffe es hilft Euch.

    I called DHL and "shipment on hold", in this case, was referring to "awaiting pick up by Poslaju" since my area is not covered by DHL delivery. From Dec 3-4, delivery was by Poslaju (1 day local service). Pretty efficient.

    Did anyone else expecting their new iPhone a day or two early notice the info on the ups site listing the package on hold per receivers request?
    My phone traveled from China to hong kong to Alaska and to Kentucky where it's now being held when it should be on a plane to California it's final destination.

    Just when things seemed "too good to be true" about being delivered today, right? On another note, let's look at the bigger picture- "AT&T". I don't know about you guys, but where I live (Alabama), we still don't have a 3G network in my area (blocks away from the University of Alabama), and not to mention that AT&T is the reason for us not being able currently to forward texts and receive multi-media messages. Now, even when this great phone arrives, none of us will be able to take full advantage of it, because ATT&T isn't up to the standards as some other network carriers. This means "no sending of multi-media texts or receiving" until presumably later this summer, at best. Oh, and tethering is a completely different "beast" that is supposedly to be available later this year.

  • Invoices matched to the same line on the same PO going on Hold

    Hi,
    We have started to setup some of our suppliers to use iSupplier, to automate the process of shipping and invoicing. With some suppliers, once they create the ASBN/Invoice the goods may take up to 30 days for delivery. Invoice are being automatically imported into AP to be matched to the same open PO (same line and item). When Invoice validation runs (nightly), these Invoices are going on hold as at any point in time we may not have received the total goods for which we are invoicing, even though we may have received the total matching to the first invoice. This is intended functionality that tolerance level checks are only made at the PO Shipment level and not at the Distribution level. However, the intention of introducing iSupplier was to automate the invoicing process does anyone know if there's a way of avoiding having this invoices go on hold ?

    Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
    You can only move the content from a toolbar onto other toolbars if all toolbars support that feature. You need to check that in the options of each toolbar.

  • Shipment Cost Document (LE-Transportation)

    After flagging the Transfer check box in the Settlement Tab in item details of shipment cost document(VI03), the Purchase order(ME23N) and Service entry sheet(ML81N) are automatically getting generated. PO and Service entry sheet numbers can be seen in Service Procurement tab.
    Question 1: When I separetely look into PO, I am unable trace back the flow. I mean, there is no reference of Shipment cost number in PO.
    Question 2: I want the service entry sheet to get on hold/not accepted status so that i can add the list of services performed by the Forwarding agent / service agent mentioned in Shipment cost document.
    Question 3: Is there any configuration setting which makes only to create a PO automatically and not the Service Entry sheet ??
    Note: This subject is a mix of  Transportation (Logistics Execution) and  External Service Management (Materials management). The moderator of this forum can take a call on placement of this thread under suitable section.

  • Best Buy "HOLDS" 2X the authorized amount on a Debit Card?

     My bank just alerted me to having 2 charges for a single purchase from Best Buy - it was a portable ac.  My online account already shows both charges deducted.
    I call customer service and the first rep tells me - only one charge was authorized - nothing we can do, deal with your bank.
    I call bank and they say Best Buy must go thru their Merchant Services to even see the double charges then call the bank to restore the funds.  They said get a supervisor.
    I call Best Buy again, and 2nd rep says money is being held and Best Buy will only receive the amount when I get the shipment delivered.  No explanation about why they are holding DOUBLE the amont of the purchase.  They said the extra charge will be dropped automatically after 2 days - like they can tie up my funds at will too bad.
    So is this normal procedure when you use a debit card to make an online purchase?  I've never had a merchant do this sort of thing. Just because technically its being "HELD" and will be "dropped" this is ok? My bank tells me its up to Best Buy to authorize the cancellation on the extra charge.  I was planning to use the extra funds this month on some sale items including a new tablet but now am scared to buy anything online from Best Buy.

    Having twice the amount of an order unavailable from your account would be quite frustrating, especially if you have limited funds available. Our normal process when an order is placed is that an authorization is placed on the account to verify that the funds are available, and the funds should not actually be collected until the order ships. If items ship separately, the funds should be collected only for the items that have shipped.
    Depending on your financial institution, the authorization may make the funds unavailable all together, or it may only appear as a pending charge as we have not collected any funds yet. Depending on how your financial institution processes transactions, you may see the authorization and charge on your account at the same time until your financial institution drops the authorization. Typically, the authorization is dropped on our end when the funds are finally collected. Information on authorizations and collections can be found on our Conditions of Use page on BestBuy.com.
    I was able to review the order once I located it using the email address you registered with the forum. It appears that the only transactions would have been the authorization and the collection of funds. That being said, I would recommend reaching out to your financial institution in regards to the authorization that is likely still holding the funds on their end. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you should have any questions, please let me know.

  • Question about shipment

    I ordered an Ipod classic and an Ipod case. The Ipod came to me with no problem. But the case, which was shipped separately has yet to get to me and it;s been almost 2 weeks. The FedEx guy claims to have come by three times but nobody was home. First, I know that's a lie and second, I had a signature sheet attached to my door just in case he did come by and I didn't see him. Then he left a door tag in my mailbox (which I have now found out, he's not allowed to do) saying to hang that on the door for the final time he was going to attempt to drop it off. I did that and he still never came.
    I called FedEx numerous times and they keep claiming he stopped by and I got tired of saying, "I know your computer says he attempted a delivery but he never did!" I live on a back road and I have a feeling that after he came that first time with my Ipod, he saw my road and thought, "I don't want to come up here again!" lol
    Now my case and the protection plan that I ordered are at FedEx and I have to go pick them up myself. However, the weather is getting bad plus I think I'm getting sick so I have no idea if I'll be able to go get it in time, before it's shipped back to Apple. I contacted FedEx which told me that hold shipments for 3-5 days and it's been there since this past Friday afternoon.
    Apparently I'm not allowed to authorize anyone else to pick it up (which I find odd, considering you're allowed to authorize them to deliver it to a neighbor's house if you're not home) and this whole thing is annoying me.
    My question is this: what happens when a shipment is sent back to Apple? Will I be refunded my money or do I have to pay another shipping charge for them to try and send it again?

    Why not call Apple and ask what they do with them when they are returned?
    And, why not call your local FedEX, insist on speaking to the manager, relate all of your issues, and get them to make one more delivery?

  • Need to stop shipment for 'Cash in Advance' customer if not paid

    There is a need to not process shipments for a 'cash in advance' customer if the order has not been already paid for. We were initially thinking of customising the Processing Constraints but then decided that creating a hold would be a simpler and more visible solution. Cashier puts an order on hold till payment is received. Just wanted to sound this off.

  • Shipment IDOC stuck in status 03, having segments 86,255

    Hi experts,
    We have a small issue in the idoc being sent to partner.
    An outbound idoc is stuck in status 03 , the idoc is from a shipment and has
    448 deliveries in it. The idoc is with the 86,255 number of segments.
    Idoc details:
    Basic type SHPMNT05
    Extension
    Message type SHPMNT
    The idoc is having all the deliveries of the shipments in the segments
    E1EDL20.
    Do we have any specific limits for : 1) Max Number of segments an idoc can
    hold.
    Please let me know. How we can over come this problem and send the idoc
    successfully to partner.

    Process with program RBDMOIND to bring the idoc from status 03 to 12, and check the SM58 also.
    1. Status 03 indicates "idoc ready to pass to port".
    2. Status 12 indicates " Dispatch ok" means data transfered through port.

  • ISupplier portal - reject action at the shipment level (R11)

    Hello,
    Supplier can perform Accept, Change or Reject actions at the shipment level. The two first actions are quite straight forward to understand, but could you please advise what are the results of doing a reject? Ther is not much about it in the user guide.
    To be more precise, are there any other situations that this information is used, beside that it can be found in the iSupplier Portal? The problem is that we have a very little visibility on the line status while using the standard Purchase Orders Summary forms. And after all lines have been assigned a status by our supplier, the Acceptance Required flag is removed from the PO no matter if there are any rejects on lines or not.
    Could you also please advise which database table holds this particular iSupplier portal shipment status information?

    Form the front end you can ask the user to provide a screen shot of the preferences once the buyer has logged in and it is at the bottom Notifications (Email Style), this is usually set as disabled.
    I am not sure what is the exact table, please refer to the previous post with the table name.

  • Order changes to "Prepared for shipment" then back to "Not yet shipped"

    Any idea why? I called Apple Customer Service but they could not give me any reason...one guy I spoke to said he doesnt see ANY activity saying that it ever changed. Am I missing something?

    Had the same thing happen. It was because I ordered two phones through Apple.com and somehow they both got processed under the same phone number. I believe it was an issue an their end because it should have been allowed to happen in the first place. The reason it probably changed back is because Apple reconfirms again just prior to shipment that the number is still available for upgrade. If the line has a payment past due, has already been upgraded, etc - it will hold shipment. they will eventually send you an email within the next couple days telling you to call AT&T.
    Unfortunately when I tried to get them to change it to another number on the same account (had an AT&T supervisor and Apple supervisor on the phone at the same time to try and do this) Apple would not change it and said all they could do was cancel the order and start a new one with a ship date of 3 weeks out!
    I canceled and decided I'll wait till iPhone 4(B).

    i have a requirement to supply different purchase order for each shipment route .
    the determination sould be based on shipment type and route .
    for example :
    if the shipment type is X and route is B - the shipment cost sould go to purchasing doc DDD
    if the shipment type is Y and route is B - the shipment cost sould go to purchasing doc EEE
    I found some user exits :
    exit_rv54pocr_006 : header data supply
    exit_rv54pocr_007 : item data supply .
    is it possible to manipulate via the above user exits ?
    other ideas ?

    check the interfaces of those two exits.. if they hold values from what you want then definitely you can change..
