Shipping date changed from 10/28 to unkown? Canceled order?

I ordered an iPhone 5s on 10/11. Since then, it has shown a ship date of 10/28, until last night. Now under the "expected ship date" it says "not available at this time". What in the world does that mean? Have these orders been pushed back, yet again? I ordered a 16gb space grey one and I thought those were shipping sooner than the gold ones. I am a brand new customer to Verizon wireless and I received an email last night saying my order was canceled. I called and they assured me that it is still in the system (once they finally found my order) and that it looked like somehow another order was "accidentally" placed by the system and that order was canceled. The weird thing is that the canceled order number is the same order number as the iPhone I ordered and not the Note 3's I ordered because I ordered them separately.
I've seen numerous posts about orders accidentally getting canceled. I don't understand how their system can be THIS bad. This isn't exactly appealing to someone who is a new customer of this company. I had no choice but to switch to Verizon from another company due to us moving and not having service anymore with our prior cell company. I'm a little frustrated.

While speaking to my "other" cell company getting my final bill in order, with the exception of that one line I am waiting to transfer, a rep there told me their grey and silver iPhones are shipping in 3-5 business days consistently. She even double checked when I was on the phone, for argument's sake, and confirmed it. I have ONE out of 3 lines left on my other provider due to the delayed shipping of the iPhone 5s. I am really trying to avoid having to pay another month's service there and have until November 2nd to port that last number over because my new billing cycle starts on the 3rd. If the shipping gets pushed back further, it's not going to be favorable for me and I'll end up paying 2 different companies for another month. I also can't just delete the other line or my daughter will be left at school without a phone and in this day and age, I'm not willing to do that.

Yes, you were supposed to receive a confirmation email after you place your order with a 10 digit order # so you can check the status. Then after your status has been process (which could take days or weeks) you should received an email that your phone has been shipped with a tracking #. VZ should send out a notification if there is a delay with the order. If you have not received any type of email then i suggest to call VZ and find out changes were made that you don't know about. Shipping Date Change issue in SNC

Recently we upgraded from SNC5.1 to 7.0.Supplier enters the shipping date in PO worklist and system in turn calculates the Delivery date.This is working fine in Production also.
But after upgrade we found that when supplier enters the shipping date other than requested shipping date by customer then System is not saving the date and in turn when gets published customer requested shipping date is getting transmitted to ECC.
Chnage date is not working.

Relevant PO SL:CONF
Also i have deactivated the validation check
PO_SHIP_AFTER_DELVRY_DATETIME
for profiles POC1,POC2 & POC3
I am able to enter the CDD date as desired, same is transferred to ERP
Regarding Due list query
When you create an advanced shipping notification (ASN) for a purchase order item in the due list for purchasing documents, the system fills the ASN with the data that is currently displayed in the due list for purchasing documents.
and this is requested data, i am not sure how to get confirmed data into due list query, you need to ask any webdynpro developer, like which FM and query it is referring and modify it suitable
You can create ASN for confirmation line in PO details, as it is allowing to store the delivery date now

expand MODELLING AND IMPLEMENTING...
expand MASTER DATA DIST...
expand REPLICATION OF MODIFIED DATA

Transferring Product Master Data Changes From APO to ECC/R/3

Is it possible to transfer product master data changes in APO to ECC via the CIF? If so, does it require custom coding?

In all the different clients where APO is being used with ECC systems. ECC system is always the main system (system of record) which contains all the master data and data present in ECC supposed to be the reference for APO system for planning purpose.
Generally it is not recommended to transfer master data from APO to ECC but as mentioned earlier by some experts you may have ways to do that.
I would be interested in the business scenario where one needs to transfer master data from APO to ECC.

I ordered a back order iPhone 6 64gb on around 10/07. I was told I would get it in 2 weeks. Then the ship date changed to 11/3. It's 11/11 and I have yet to get any emails whether the phone will be shipped or not.

So I checked the order status again today and it still shows that it's being processed but the shipping date is still 11/3. A week later and it still hasn't been shipped. Is there someone who can help me so I have an idea when it will be shipped, if ever? I ordered a gold iPhone 6 64gb. I thought I was going to get it in 2 weeks but instead it's been over a month. Dates change from Numbers generated xls file when copy/pasted

I've saved a Numbers '09 file as xls and sent it to an Excel 2003 for Windows user. The file looks great when they open it in Excel 2003. But, when they copy and paste data into a different Excel 2003 file, the date changes about 4 years, which seems to make this a 1900/1904 issue. But why? If Excel 2003 opened up the original xls file generated by Numbers ok, why can't the dates be copy and pasted into another Excel 2003 spreadsheet?

Apple uses a year pattern that starts with the first day of the first leap year in the 20th century.
Microsoft originally adopted a year pattern that began with the first day of the last year of the 19th century (1900) which, although it was a year divisible by 4, was not a leap year.
Later, MS added the 1904 start pattern, but kept the1900 start pattern as well.
What is likely happening in the case you describe is this:
When Numbers traslates the document into Excel format and saves it, Numbers apparenly includes the flag that tells Excl 'use the 1904 start for dates.' Excel open the file, reads the code, and sets the calendar accordingly.
When the Excel 2003 user then copies the data frm that document, the copy picks up only the date serial number(s), and does not get the coded flag identifying which date system is in use.
That data is then pasted into the new Excel document, and with no flag to tell it different, Excel uses its 'normal' setting—the calendar starts on January 1, 1900—and all dates are interpreted as being four years earlier than they were in the original Numbers table or in the first Excel sheet.
I'd assume there is a setting that can be changed in Excel. Where to find it/how to use it would be a good question for an Excel community discussion site. (Although it's possible an answer might arrive here as well.)

You can update the delivery date , by an customer program in back ground.
This should be triggered for every PGI done with count in PO delivery date.
This delivery date should be changed before the shipment is triggered.
Ask your ABAPER to develop an custom program , based on input logic how to change the delivery date in PO.
He will develop the program as per your input given to him.

Shipping date changed to "unavailable"???

I started my order at 12:00 am pst- was told sept 19th arrival. Confirmation email says sept 19th delivery date. Checked online order status- it just switched to"unavailable" we ordered a grey 6 64 gb and a grey 6Plus 64 gb. When will my device ship? Is my confirmation email guarantee? It does not say "estimate", it says "deliver by 09/19/2014"- can someone from verizon please clarify?

Sign of data changes from DEV to QA

I have a script that posting huge number of records. the script has no issues. All the records posted are oK in QA but in DEV all the signs change(positive,negative). Please advise.

The whole logic is about 300-400 lines. But here is the part that actually creates the records. Also keep in mind that it works fine in QA and production. so it probably has something to do with Appet measures or database settings?

IPad shipping date moved from 21st March to 11th April?!

i ordered my iPad on 9th March and got the 21st March as delivery date.
Now as they registered the actual payment the delivery date was moved to 11st April.
I called the customer service and the told me that the iPad gets reserved when the payment is done, not when i order it. But there was no hint in the actual order for that.
My question is now: Can Apple just do that? Is that even legal? EVERY Shop in the Internet have to reserve the product as the order comes in. Why not Apple?
Do you know any other address than the customer service telephone where i can address complaint? Maybe someone who can really do something?
I need the iPad for my courses and already sold my iPad 2 (because i should get my iPad on 21st March -.-

Of course they can do that. If you were selling something would you confirm the order before you received payment confirmation? Of course it's legal. Please cite your source for "EVERY" shop has to reserve when an order comes in. Apple has their own ordering and delivery processes.

Scheduled ship date not taking PO need by date

1. Please consider following case -
a. Sales order is created for org UK for item A for 10000 qty 24-Mar-2011 with order request date as 29-Mar-2011.
a1. There is no on-hand in UK for item A.
a2. The item lead time for item A, as defined in UK org in item attributes’ Lead times tab, is as following -
a21. Pre-processing time - 4 days
a22. Processing time - 20 days
a23. Post-Processing time - 1 day
a3. A standard purchase order for item A is created for 15000 quantity on 25-Mar-2011 with Need by date as 10-Apr-2011.
a4. The ATP rule that is attached to the item, is having Purchase orders checked, under supply sources.
Observation : Before purchase order creation, the scheduled ship date on SO was 28-Apr-2011 (item lead time of 25 days).
Then the PO is created as in point a3 and ASCP plan was run. The sales order line for item A is unscheduled and Rescheduled, the scheduled ship date becomes 25-Apr-2011.
Questions :
1.     Why did the scheduled ship date change to 25-Apr-2011?
2.     What all things it is taking into consideration?
3.     As per our understanding, the scheduled ship date should have been changed to PO Need by date. But this didn’t happen. Is our understanding flawed?

If only Verizon's customer relations and notifications were as diligent as their moderators ;-)
The gist of the chat was that there were "unknown delays in the shipment of HTC phones" and the best guess is shipping approximately a week after the initial promise date. Perhaps I'm the only one experiencing their "ship date" moving from a given date to the text, "Not available at this time", and therefore should consider myself "special".
If anyone else is also special, please reply if only to have necessary evidence to escalate the communication issue either up the support chain or in effective social network forums.

The irony of this dissertation is that the content in question of violating the ToC was actually a cleansed chat dialogue (all PII - Personal Identity Information - was obfuscated) that portrayed Verizon online support in a positive light as caring, resourceful, and responsive to an unfortunate situation where they failed to proactively notify customers of delays.
It was shared with this community so that others in this situation could see both (a) the reason for the delay and (b) that someone at Verizon actually cares.
For some reason, this caused a fellow consumer to register a complaint, perhaps it was motivated because they are dissatisfied with Verizon and do not like to see them portrayed so positively?
The apparent necessity to police and educate posters in discussions is a natural self-appointed role well documented in the behaviors of social networks such as this. The unfortunate fallout is that the original message is too often lost in the educational discourse that ensues.
To be clear, the original message is this:
If your prepaid order for an HTC 8x has an expected ship date that changed from a given date to the text "not available at this time", fear not - the friendly and helpful live-chat people will tell you it is because of unforeseen delays with the hardware manufacturer and they are very sorry this was not communicated to you. Simply wait for an email that your phone has shipped - as they are unable to provide an updated expected ship date.
