Showing Percentages on an axis in discoverer

Hi all
I am using Discoverer to show some percentages on screen. When i put the percentages into a graph though the axis shows the values as being 0.00, 0.10, 0.20, etc.
I'm probably missing something really obvious, but could some one possibly tell me how i can show the axis labels as percentages rather than decimals.
Thanks
Leigh

First: You mention burning other than a CD from Elements. This is the Photoshop Elements forum rather than Premier Elements. Photoshop Elements can't burn DVDs or Blu-ray so you may have the wrong forum.
That aside I've just begun burning slide shows using Nero 7 software and 16:9 aspect ratio versions of my favorite PE3 photographs. Playing the DVD on a standard, progressive DVD player on a 2003 Sony XBR 1020i 34 inch CRT is nothing short of spectacular. They're playing at 720p (I think) but I can't really see much difference from cable 1020i. The player does not up convert.
If your Panasonic gives good results with standard DVD movies and you already have a burner I'd give it a try.

  • Pivot chart vertical axis label show percentage

    Hi All,
    I have a pivot chart showing percentage of the row. the vertical axis label can only show 0, 1, 2; I change it to specify value with 'Minimum' 0 and 'Maximum' 1.
    Wondering how to show vertical axis label with minimum 0% and maximum 100%, instead of 0 and 1.
    Thank you,

    Hi lets try once like this,
    In Pivot table go to edit view-Position-Graph only-Edit graph properties-click on scale tab-Axis Limits-in drop down list select specify. Here u can select minimum and maximum scale.

  • How can we show percentages in BO Dash board Manager(PMDM)

    Hi ,
    Please help me to find the  option in Dash Board Manager to show percentages of metrics.

    Hello josborne,
    i feel for you as a year ago i was undergoing the same problem. I was using Basler cameras for bar code reading and i was using two of them at a time. i was getting the same error. In my case the issue was resolved after much pain. i changed the PCI cards, switched between a lot of softwares and hardwares to get the required results. In the end my issue came down to the Fire wire cable. I was using a very cheap cable. Perhaps this is the only thing i can add that you might be using some non+standard fire wire cable.
    perhaps you can try replacing it and then see the results.

  • Show Percentage of file grep'ped every minute. [SOLVED]

    Is it possible to show percentage of file grep'ped every minute ?
    Like
    10% done...
    after a minute
    30% done..
    and so on.. every minute.
    Please suggest. Thanks.

    I don't think so. But you can use the -n switch of grep to print the line number of each match. And you can use
    wc -l
    on the file beforehand, so you'll get a basic idea of how much percent of the file has been grepped.

  • Dials showing percentage - how to standardize

    Hi,
    I have few dials on my application showing percentages
    Start angle: 90
    Sweep angle: 180
    interestingly in one of the graph the pointer for 120% in showing @ the same level as that of 80% on the other graph...
    is there a way to standardize graphs
    for example,
    @ 50% needle should be straight @ 90 degrees
    @ 100% (OR MORE) needle should horizontal @ 180 degrees
    Thanks

    What does your table look like? Off the top of my head, you will need an aggregating function (probably SUM). This means you will probably also have a GROUP BY in your statement. But without knowing what your table looks like (especially the primary key and any determinants in the equation), it is hard to say.

  • [WPF] Format column text for showing percentage

    Hi,
    in one column of my DataGrid I show percentage values.
    From database, I get the number:
    - in view, I would concatenate the char "%"
    - in edit, the user add his value and when mouse leaves cell automatically is concatenated the char "%"
    How can I implement it?
    Thanks.

    Replace any DataGridTextColumn with a DataGridTemplateColumn and specify a StringFormat for the TextBlock in the CellTemplate only:
    <DataGrid.Columns>
    <!--<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding Val, StringFormat=P}"/>-->
    <DataGridTemplateColumn>
    <DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
    <DataTemplate>
    <TextBlock Text="{Binding Val, StringFormat='\{0\}%'}"/>
    </DataTemplate>
    </DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
    <DataGridTemplateColumn.CellEditingTemplate>
    <DataTemplate>
    <TextBox Text="{Binding Val}"/>
    </DataTemplate>
    </DataGridTemplateColumn.CellEditingTemplate>
    </DataGridTemplateColumn>
    </DataGrid.Columns>
    Note that the "number" source property must be an int, double, decimal etc. for the StringFormat to get applied.

  • Several items on the same axis in Discoverer?

    Is it possible to have items from different
    folders on the same axis in Discoverer?

    Yes.
    You can define a custom hierarchy for items in different
    folders which can be displayed at different levels on
    the same axis.
    Also if there is a join between folders disco will let
    you put the items from the diff folders on the same axis.

  • Use Guage chart to show percentage... why is this hard?

    I must be completely out to lunch or something...
    I have a REALY simple report. I have users that fall into two categories, registered, and unregistered... I want to create a guage chart that shows me the percentage of registered users... and I can get it to show me the percentage of registered AND unregistered users (in seperate charts), or I can get it to show 100% (which isn't true), but I can't get it to show me just one guage that shows me the percentage of registered users...
    What am I missing?
    Currently:
    it's set to "On change of" <registration completed field>
    show: percentage of distinct count of users
    I get two charts.
    If I set it to 'for all records' I can't use the percentage summary...

    Hi Ryan,
    If you want to show Gauge chart for the 'Registered' users only then try to filter the data from the select expert and then create a chart. Otherway could be to create a formula for selecting  'Registered' users and use this formula in 'On change of' in chart expert.
    Please let me know if you are looking for something else.

  • Z10 Battery issues - showing percentage not corresponding to real level

    Dear all, I have an LTE STL 100-1 Blackberry Z10 for three months more or less. It has always worked properly until this week. Out of nowhere, it has started to look like it was draining battery like crazy. I charged 100%, then, suddenly, it went to 0% and the orange LED light blinking. Then, I made a test and I realized that it was lasting 5-6 hours but the showing percentage was 0%. I'm really disapointed because I've already done a battery pull off and a factory reset and It didn't work. The problem is I am a journalist and I use it to work. It's not possible for me not to know exactly what's the level of the battery. I've already tried to check my battery app, but it marks 0%. And the strange thing is it's not heating as many people with batteries issues say.
    Could anyone, PLEASE, help me? Thanks a lot

    Is it the battery app that's giving this information or the device itself? I'm wondering if it's an issue with the app. There are tons of battery related apps. I'd try Battery Guru, which I find to be very reliable. You can check battery levels in the Settings - About - Hardware.

  • Power View SharePoint - Y axis not show percentage

    I am using a line chart. The Y axis is showing decimal (0.95) instead of percentage (95%). Is this a bug? I notice it will display % if i pick a matrix table instead.

    Assuming that the data is coming from an SSAS Multidimensional or Tabular model it's still possible that the measure hasn't been explicitly defined as returning a % value. Otherwise this does look like a bug. You can report it to the SQL Server team using
    this link. You'll need to create a Microsoft Connect account if you don't already have one.

  • Chart showing percentage of groups of cells

    Hello everybody,
    I am a teacher and I am new to Numbers.
    It is the end of the term and I have prepared a table with the students' names and marks they got during the term.
    That table also shows the average sum of their results.
    I managed to create a chart to visualise these results and here is what I managed to get...
    Here are my two questions:
    1.How can I visualize in the form of a chart the percentage of those who got a pass mark (above 6) and those who didn't pass (below 6), that is the values in the last but one yellow column. A pie-chart, for example, into two halves, just telling me the percentage of those beyond and below 6...
    2. Is there a way in which I can tell the blue chart I created to cloud the blue lines in a different colour when the are beyond 6? Or could I turn the thin grey line in the x-axis, the one showing 6, into another colour, so that I can immediately see who is beyond the pass mark (6)?
    I hope I have made myself understood...
    Thanks for any help you can give me
    Luca

    Luca,
    I think this is what you want:
    The expressions are as follows:
    Scores Table
    Medi Column: =AVERAGE(B2:G2)
    Passing Column: =IF(H≥6, H, "")
    Failing Column:  =IF(H≤6, H, "")
    Pie Chart Data Table:
    Pass Column: =COUNTIF(Scores::H, ">=6")
    Fail Column: =COUNTIF(Scores::H, "<6")
    The Bar Chart is a 2D Stacked Bar Chart
    Hope this is what you were looking for. Glad to explain further if necessary.

  • Show Timestamp on Y axis in a SSRS line chart.

     I have a column with datatype as timestamp. And i want to show that column on Y axis in a line chart. two sample values from that column are 03/01/2014 11:30 PM and 03/02/2014 12:10 AM. In this case the data point for first value should be less compare
    to the second one, i.e. the series should consider the complete timestamp. Is there a way in SSRS to achieve it.
    If I only take the time value from timestamp on Y axis and plot the chart then the data point for 12:10 AM is less than the 11:30 PM, which is not true in this case.
    ApoorvaW

    Hi ApoorvaW,
    In Reporting Services, if we directly add the Timestamp field to Y Axis, it displays the count values in the line chart. When we modify the expression of the value to [Timestamp], it displays the date value in the Y Axis. Though it displays date type as
    the axis label, it represent the complete timestamp.
    So in my environment, the timestamp display very well in the line chart. If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

  • Calculated column shows all zeros in cross tab discoverer report

    Hi
    I have a calculated column in a cross tab report which shows all zeros, but when i duplicate the report as 'table' the calculated colun is getting populated.
    i did not understand why it is doing like that, are there any special privileges or any special settings required for creating a cross tab report.

    Hi,
    No there is no special privs for cross tab but there is an aggregation issue.
    There are some methods of aggregations used in the discoverer.
    First thing you can so is to make sure that in the cross tab sheet you use the detailed data points and that you are not combining different levels of aggregations (for example one amount in details and another one summed).
    Second thing you can try is to change the aggregation for this worksheet, you can do that by going to the worksheet properties to the aggregation tab and try to change the settings.
    Third thing is to check the pref.txt file in the application server and set "AllowAggregationOverRepeatedValues" to 1
    BTW also search your data and find whether you got NULL values in the aggregated items, if so then wrap the data points with NVL function.

  • Graphs (line)- not showing timing correctly (X-Axis)

    SSRS 2012
    Hi guys
    My dataset produce a column express as HH:mm:ss. So it means several rows by hours
    The report is build up with a graph - Line.
    Unfortunately, the Y axis (the horizontal axis showing timing) displays all the records correctly, but the X axis does not display each timing record (labeling).
    Question:
    how to show each record along the x-Axis (I tried to adjust the setting in the x-Axis properties without success)
    Thanks

    Hi Fasttrack2,
    As per my understanding, there is a line chart, the records of Y-axis display correctly, labels of X-axis are not displayed entirely. You want to show each label of X-axis.
    The axis interval defines the number of labels and accompanying tick marks on an axis. On the value axis, axis intervals provide a consistent measure of the data points on the chart. However, on the category axis, this functionality can cause categories
    to appear without axis labels. We can specify the number of intervals we want in the axis Interval property. When we show properly formatted DateTime values on an axis, a chart will automatically display these values as days. To specify a date/time interval
    for the x-axis, such as an interval of months or an interval of hours, we must format the axis labels and set the type of axis interval to a valid date or time interval. In this case, if the values displayed on the x-axis must evaluate to a DateTime data type,
    we can set x-axis labels’ interval type to seconds by following steps:
    Right-click the horizontal, or x-axis, of the chart, and open Horizontal Axis Properties.
    Click Number in left pane. From the Category list, select Date, from the Type list, select a date format to apply to the x-axis labels.
    Click Axis Options in left pane.
    In Interval, type 1. In Interval type property, select Seconds.
    For more information about Specify an Axis Interval, please refer to the following document:

  • Spinners don't show percentages

    Post Author: VeniceGlass
    CA Forum: Xcelsius and Live Office
    Sourcing from the same Excel cell (formatted as a percentage value), an Xcelsius "spinner" object (formatted as a percentage value) doesn't show up as percentage - only as a decimal.  Sourced from the same Excel cell, an Xcelsius "value" object DOES show up as a percentage. Ideas?

    Post Author: debdeb
    CA Forum: Xcelsius and Live Office
    Can I assume this bug is the same for all formatted values in a spinner? I want to format the value as currency and no matter what I select from the format option it doesn't change. Unfortunately this was the first thing I tried when I went to open an existing .xlf from version 4.5 Pro. Since I need this value to show in $, I'll keep using my Pro version until this fix is available.
