Showing picture in view
Hi,
I have an application which contains a contextual panel. There is a container which opens different views based on button press in contextual panel. When I first load the application I want that a picture should be loaded in the container, but it automatiacally loads a view. Please let me know how can I load the picture on first time laoding of the application.

u can use Image UI in ur View and can bind the source property of ur UI with the image strored as mime
right click ur application and then click on create mime object.
with Mime Objects u cn upload doc , jpeg, or giff files from our local system into the webdypnpro system .
You can even try creating the MIME objects in webdynrpo abap .
Right click on ur component->mime object->import
after importing you can see that image into your component as MIME object .Now insert a UI element image into your view layout .
Go to the source property of IMAGE element and select F4 option , u will find a window is opening with some tabs
Select tab COMPONENT IMAGES and component name select your component .
You will find the image which you have imported into this section just select the image and save it.
In the transaction sicf/bc/webdynpro , u cn check your component name there you can view the mime objects created by you .

Aperture stopped showing pictures in viewer and split view
Suddenly Aperture 3 has stopped showing any pictures in viewer and split view (except for the bottom fim strip) but I can see them all in browser view. I have tried using Aperture Repair and have reset Aperture (using Clean My Mac to delete the user setup files). I also tried creating a new library with just a few files to see if the size of the library was an issue. I also tried opening the libraries in iPhoto and have the same result. I can browse the minatures but not open the larger pictures.
The only thing I have yet to try is to delete and reinstall Aperture. But since iPhoto has the same problem, I don't see how that would be the issue.
Aperture is version 3.5.1, OS is OSX 10.9.2.I would have to redo the cleanmymac step but essentially it is like creating a new install before using the app.
If you do not know, what exactly will be uninstalled, by a general cleaning application, don't use it. That is risky.
Using a different user account makes no difference.
That means, you are having a system wide problem. Fixing your Aperture library or settings in your account will probably not help.
First thing to try, reinstall Aperture.
And if that does not bring your split view back, reinstall Mavericks. You may have missing caches and necessary configuration files, since iPhoto is having the same problem.
Did you run CleanMyMac to uninstall other applications, before the problem first occured? Usually it is much safer, to use only the uninstaller, that come with an application. Otherwise, you are risking to uninstall items needed by other applications or the system.

I have Creative ZEN Vision:M, I try to use music folder of "Switch view" to show picture, right now only one folder is showing picture, the other folders are not able to display pictures, am I need to doing some kind of setup?
Thanks.Just wanted to mention - I bought the IR Remote thinking to make the player useful without navigation keys. Now I feel like I wasted more money instead of shifting to some other player by some other company with better customer service.

Aperture shows pictures in browser, not in viewer
My pictures appear no longer in viewer, only in browser (>20000 pictures, Aperture 3.2.3). (Aperture starts just with the menubar, no window. After trying to import, window appears, but only browser shows the pictures, not viewer)

have you tested, if this is a system wide problem or only occurs when working from your current user account? Try to open Aperture from a different user account, e.g. the guest account.
If Aperture runs without problems from a different account, then there probably is something wrong in your account, try how Aperture works with a new test Aperture Library.
if Aperture does not work from a different account, you probably have a system wide problem, either with the Aperture installation, your OS, or your hardware. Then I'd try to reinstall Aperture.

I am using IDVD to create slide shows. When viewed on my computer, the pictures are clear and of high quality. When I burn the slide show to a disk and play it back, the pictures are blury and of poor quality. Is there a setting that controls the quality of the burn and if there is, where do I find it? Thank you.
The Mac software - iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD are not the best with the Ken Burns effect (zoom in/out effect), so you might want to minimize that effect; also, if your subjects are wearing stripes for instance, that will have an effect if you zoom. There is better software available for slideshows; however, I do not know of any that is free (and does a good job). I've used Photo to Movie for some time; it does a fine job even in HD, but you have to pay for it. I use iDVD extensively, but only to add a menu, theme, special effects, etc. and then to burn it.

Thumbnail not showing for artist view on music app
Ever since iOS 7 (now on iOS 8.1.1), the thumbnails in the artist view of the music app on my iPhone 5 sometimes shows up but not for all artists.
I have tried restoring iPhone as new phone without restoring a backup (as I thought the backup may include the problem), restarted iTunes and iPhone, restarted MacBook on OS X Lion. Removed music, re-sync'd. Manually added album covers, re-sync'd.
Al album covers show, but artist view where a promo-type picture of the artist is usually shown does not work for all artists.
Would have been more reliable if iOS could have simply used the latest album cover as the artist thumbnail.It's a universal glitch with ios5. With any double album (i.e. Greatest Hits Vol.1 and Greatest Hits Vol. 2), the 2nd album is not coming up under "Artist". It's there under "Albums" and "Songs", but NOT "Artists".

I have read your post on how your video will not show picture, but the audio will work on your Windows 8.1 computer. Does the video appear and then disappear using media player software? Does this occur when streaming videos on YouTube? Did you perform Windows or HP updates before this issue occured? Does the entire screen go blank, turn a different color or just show blank on the video window you are attempting to view? I'm running Windows 7 on a PC, using Photoshop Elements 7
It used to be I could open a picture folder from Elements (File>Open) and instruct the files to show themselves as large or extra large icons (View>Large icons), I would then open one or more and edit them, go back to the original folder to open another and still see the files as large icons or whatever I'd chosen before.
I can no longer do that - as soon as I come back to the folder, all the files have reverted to List view. I then have to go back to the View options. On the other hand, if I open the same folders from Windows Explorer they all show as large icons, as I've chosen to view them, and they remain so for as often as I open the folder.
I bought a brand new copy of Elements 11 and installed on the same computer (after uninstalling El 7), believing that maybe my copy of Elements 7 was corrupt. But the same conditions obtained with El 11. I un-installed El 11 (didn't like it, too cluttered for me) and have re-installed 7.
I've picked up a couple of viruses along the way which I get rid of mostly by restoring the system to a previous state. I installed a trial version of Norton while El 7 was working properly and later uninstalled it, believing maybe it had something to do with the subsequent misbehavior of El 7.
I've noticed a couple of other quirks; after I click File>Open the window with my picture folders opens maximized, it used to be I could re-size it but not any more, even though the mouse pointer turns into double arrows along the edges and corners. Also, when I clicked on Save the pointer immediately defaulted to the Save box, but not so any more.
Any help would be appreciated. -

I have an emac OS X 10.4.11. Safari has not been showing pictures or icons for two weeks. This AM I downloaded the latest version of Safari for my computer and still have the same problem. Did I click something by accident? I reported the problem through the Report Bugs option on the drop down menu.
The following is from a Safari help page:

Choose View > Reload Page, or click the Reload (curved arrow) button in the Safari toolbar.
Check your preferences
The option to display images may be turned off. To turn on webpage images:
Choose Safari > Preferences and click Appearance.

If images appear on other webpages, the problem may be limited to a particular page. Contact the owner of the website for assistance.
Check the Develop menu
If you are developing a website, open the Develop menu and make sure that Disable Images is not selected. -
Hi, Im not a frequent forum poster, as most of my questions can be found already answered on them!
This is a question Ive had for a long time and it amazes me that no-one else seems to ask it. I check at each OS upgrade but its never there...
Is there any way of dragging and dropping an iCal event showing in week view across to a date in the left sidebar monthly calendar?
I was able to do this years ago in MS Outlook, and utilized it all the time when I needed to push things back, now I have to open the event and select an new date in the drop-down calendar for each & every event I want to move to a new month at the end of the month.
If its definitely not possible, how to you ask apple to consider including it - it doesnt seem like a particularly difficult task.

No, but you can use cut/paste. Cut (⌘X) the event, then click on the week where you want to move the event, and Paste (⌘V).

Problem with Css styles not showing in live view or when i browse
I am using Mac osx 10.6 and building website with Dreamweaver CS5. Sometimes div tags i create not showing styles or rendering in live view or when I browse but showing in design view. I looked in dreamwever faq and they talk about not showing in design view to toggle the display styles. That is not the problem becuase it is check marked and I tried turning off and turning on and made no difference.I am using firefox browser.
It happened before the other day too. But all of my other pages in this site that i have created the same way building with div tags and css styles. So not sure what the problem is. Maybe someone has a suggestion here.

Ical events showing in week view as an hour later than the details in event
Hi all,
I've just been upgrading my ical / mobileme and I can't figure this out. All time zones are set to London-UK. If I look up appointments in week view all my calendars are colour coded. One particular calendar appears 1hr late with appointments. When I go into the details of this even it show correct time. For example. Kids school looks like it's in for 9:50 in week view but when I go into appointment it reads the correct time of 08:50?

Sub folders not showing in Explorer view
Hi,
We have a totally standard Sharepoint 2013 installation. We've noticed this week that in some document libraries when opening them up in Explorer view it doesn't display all the sub folders in that library/folder. It's a real pain when users have a folder
with 20+ documents and want to move them somewhere else and can't because one of the folders aren't showing up. Manually moving them one by one is pretty tiresome.
If I remove the subfolder in Sharepoint and then recreate the folder in Explorer view that works fine, so it's not that the name is too long. It's not a permission thing since I'm site collection admin. Same issue on Windows 7 and Windws 8. Tried different
logins. Just can't wrap my head around this issue or what's causing it.

I have seen an attribute for folder object which could control SharePoint folder hide or show in webdav explorer view, you can use PowerShell to output the problematic folder property, see if it the case, then use the PowerShell code to set it's property
with blank value to make it show in explorer view,
Use the PowerShell to get the folder object and then check the property value with this code line $folder.Properties["vti_winfileattribs"]
#folder can be site, library level and folder level

Errors are not showing in Tasks view
Hello,
I dont know why errors are not showing in Tasks view after I click Save All Metada, they only show when a Rebuild de project. This start to happen after a few days, can anyone tell me how to fix this?

After rebuild all compile time dependency and syntax might be checked and something is missing then errors suppose to come.

How to Print File as the same as picture/fax viewer ?

I wrote a program which can let the specified png file to be printed. (png file is about 17xx * 11xx, output to A4 paper)
The goal is the print result as the same as the windows built-in picture/fax viewer (by Full Page Fax Print Mode)
And I don't want the printer dialog to be appeared. So I tried to use java print service to achieve this goal.
Now I can print the file by printer.
But comparing to the result which is printed by the windows built-in picture fax viewer(use Full Page Fax Print Mode), my result looks like zoom in, not full page.
I tried some classes of javax.print.attribute.standard package, but no one worked.
So I tried to transform the image by myself. And I found a resource : [http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/2D/reference/faqs/index.html#Q_How_do_I_scale_an_image_to_fit]
It looks like what I wanted. But when I implemented the functionality according to that reference. The result is still the same, still zoom in...
I must said I am unfamiliar with java 2D. But this is a problem I must solve.
If the problem can be solved by only setting some classes of javax.print.attribute.standard, it's better.
But if can't be solved by that way, the transformation method is ok, too.
So does anyone can help me to solve this problem or pointed where I was wrong ? Thank you very much.

Now my algorithm which I used is when the height of image is smaller than the height of A4 paper and the width of image
is larger than the width of A4 paper, I will rotate 90 degree of the image first, then I will scale the image.
Then I can get the approaching result when the width and height of the image are larger than the width and height of A4 paper.
But there was an additional error. That is when the width of image is larger than the width of A4 paper and
the height of image is smaller than the height of A4 paper. (like 17xx * 2xx).
Although the print result template is approaching the picture/fax viewer. But the print quality is so bad.
The texts are discontinue. I can see the white blank within the text. (the white line are the zone which printer doesn't print)
First I thought this problem might be DPI issue. But I don't know how to keep the DPI when rotating ?
(I dumped the rotate image, it rotates, but didn't keep the DPI value)
Does anyone know how to solve this strange problem ? Thanks a lot.
