Simple HTML Renderer Kit

Hi ,
Is there any simple html renderer kit without javascript and advanced css ? I want to use it for mobile browsers eventually . Most of the open source and commercial do use javascript and mobile browsers have limitations .
Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I always thought Ericsson or Nokia ( i think they have too ) will always support only those companies phones. Isnt that true ? Will Ericsson support most of the other phones/browsers ?
Thanks.

  • HTML Editor Kit adding extra characters...urgent

    I am facing a strange problem in using HTML Editor Kit. I am using JTextPane to display the HTML data, which will support bold, italic and underline formatting.
    The problem is, when I
         1]Enter some text of length more than 71, with some spaces inside it ( Do not press enter key explicitly).
         2] And try to read that data from the editor kit.
    I find some new line characters inside the data as shown below in the example.
    Example :
    =========
    I entered "Testing the HTML Editor Kit functionality .. as well as Apply functionality too.. as these are giving some problems. what can be the reason. try to find out that..." in the Editor Pane and Editor Kit is generating the following HTML for it.
    <html>
    <head>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p name="Normal">
    Testing the HTML Editor Kit functionality .. as well as Apply
    functionality too.. as these are giving some problems. what can be the
    reason. try to find out that...
    </p>
    </body>
    </html>
    Although I haven't entered any new line between the paragraph tags, still you can find that the editor kit is adding some new line characters and 6 spaces from line to line. One consistency about this behavior is that it enters this stuff after 71 characters only with some special cases.
    How can we change this behavior. What all I need is I want the data in a simple string like
    "<html><head></head><body><p name="Normal">Testing the HTML Editor Kit functionality .. as well as Apply
    functionality too.. as these are giving some problems. what can be the reason. try to find out that...
    </p></body></html>"
    Any solution???
    Thanks
    Priyatam

    That's strange isn't it? Class HTMLWriter sets the line length for HTML output to 80 chars per line. Strangely JEditorPane seems not to ignore these newline chars although the actual newline is not performed within JEditorPane.
    See http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/javax/swing/text/AbstractWriter.html#setLineLength(int)
    about how to set the line length.
    Hope that helps

  • Java HTML Renderer

    Hi all,
    I wonder if any one could help me.
    I have recently decided to undertake the writing of an HTML browser for a project, I have been researching the idea and come to a pretty deadish sort of end.
    My research has taken me to various other browsers in java - Warrior, XBrowser etc. All have an HTML rendering engine create specifically for them (which I would like to do myself) however when I take a look at them, they are very in depth (to in depth - I just want HTML rendering).
    So my question is: Does anyone know of some simple renderer frameworks which I could take a peek at to get a point in the right direction or some books which would give me idea how to get started writing a renderer?
    Cheers,
    Reacz

    Thanks guys.
    I really want to give it a go on my own, it doesn't neccesarily have to be 100% perfect (in fact it doesn't even have to render them well at all).
    So, any ideas where else I could learn more about Renderers and how they are created for Java apps?
    As I said I have looked at Warrior and a couple of others and they abide by the DOM (Document Object Model) but they are very complicated, I wanted something more simple (if thats possible).
    Any books, or anything else anyone knows which may help me?
    Regards & Thanks,
    Reacz. :)

    HTTP response code 502 means temporarily overloaded.
    I would say that we have to check the deployment error on the weblogic server logs located at <Domain_Home>\servers\dupe\logs\dupe.log
    Check for any errors like OutOfMemory etc OR any deployment failures.
    If possible, try accessing the console at http://dupe:7031/console
    Check if you are able to successfully deploy your application using the console.
    From the error it looks like the "dupe" server might not be healthy. So, the log file would really help here to get clues into the root cause.

  • Fonts used in HTML rendered components not displayed

    Hi all,
    I have a problem using fonts in components with text that is being rendered by the HTML renderer.
    It's the exact same problem as described in this topic;
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=257&threadID=222691
    but no solution found...
    When I do this, my font isn't displayed (only the default SansSerif font is used at this point);
    JLabel label = new JLabel("<html>a text</html>");
    InputStream fontStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("SystemVIO.ttf");
    Font font = Font.createFont(Font.TRUETYPE_FONT, fontStream);
    label.setFont(font.deriveFont((float)12));SystemVIO is placed in a JAR-file (loaded in my classpath).
    And when I do this, it is displayed correctly;
    InputStream fontStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("SystemVIO.ttf");
    Font font = Font.createFont(Font.TRUETYPE_FONT, fontStream);
    JLabel label = new JLabel("<html>a text</html>");
    label.setFont(font.deriveFont((float)12));But the real problem here is, if one component is made with a HTML renderer, none of the other components can use a font if it's loaded after the FIRST component with HTML renderering is constructed.
    So, for some reason, the fonts aren't reloaded in the HTML renderer (is the html renderer native?) whenever I use createFont().

    Hi Sundar,
    if I understand your post properly, what your are doing in your BSP is executing a procedure to create an Adobe document, and then placing that document into the HTTP response.
    If you have built this code by following some of the blogs in SDN, you probably do something like...
    response->set_header_field( name  = 'content-type'
                                value = 'application/pdf' ).
    l_pdf_len = XSTRLEN( l_pdf_xstring ).
    response->set_data( data   = l_pdf_xstring
                        length = l_pdf_len ).
    navigation->response_complete( ).
    What this code does is change the type of the HTTP response to 'application/pdf', set the content of the HTTP repsonse to the PDF data stream, and finally signal the HTTP runtime that processing has completed.
    Once processing has been completed control is returned to the HTTP runtime. This means any further 'down-stream' code in your BSP will not be executed. This includes the Layout section of your BSP.
    It is not possible to send two responses, PDF data and HTML data, to a single HTTP request. If you want to show both on the same web page you need to embed the Adobe document into the HTML page using frames or some other method.
    Cheers

  • Change report manager HTML rendering view %

    Hi All,
    I can change the default HTML Zoom % in report server reports accessed via URL. Add "&rc:Zoom=75 " to the URL and it works. However I cannot change the zoom for report manager reports. Is there any workaround to this? or better idea to change
    HTML rendering?
    Thanks

    Hi sonnyA,
    According to your description, you want to set the default zoom level when accessing reports in Report Manager. Right?
    In Reporting Services, the Zoom is already a deprecated property in HTML Device Information Settings. Change the <Zoom> tab in rsreportserver.config will not work. In this scenario, we can embed javascript in Report.aspx page to get the zoom
    selection box object and set the zoom level. Please follow the steps below:
    1. Go to Report.aspx, this file locates at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS12.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportManager\Pages,
    embed the code below:
    <script>
    function pageLoad() {
            var cuInternalViewer = $find('ctl32_ctl03');
                cuInternalViewer.set_zoomLevel(75);
    </script>
    2. The result looks like below:
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • Simple HTML placeholder page

    Hello,
    I'm running ITS Version 6200.1034.9372.7, Build 1093429 WIN32.
    We are migrating from an external ITS server to an internal ITS for the BBPSTART Internet Service (SAP SRM 4.00 eBuying). Because many employees have the old URL (external ITS) in their bookmarks, I'd like to replace this Internet Service with a simple HTML page showing a "This page has moved" message and a link to the new service on the internal ITS.
    What would be the best approach to achieve this? Completely remove the BBPSTART Internet Service and create a new Flow Logic-Based Application with a simple template?
    Also I was wondering the following. The LOGIN template (of the GGPSTART Internet Service) contains "tags" like this one:
    `include (~service="bbpglobal", ~name="login.html")`
    Where do I find/manage this login.html file?
    Thanks in advance!

    The HTML Template "login.html" is in the templates folder in the bbpglobal service for your SRM ITS instance.
    BBPGLOBAL->99->LOGIN.HTML for the Login screen template.
    You can modify this to redirect users to your new link

  • Need a simple html theme

    Hello everybody,
    i need a simple just html, no script or flash theme, for doing my photo albums.
    I have some veryyyy important people (gf and brother :)) than can't see those beacouse they do it on the corporate laptop and all the "bad stuff" are disabled.
    Thanks
    Ciprian

    Ciprian:
    You can create the web pages from within iPhoto by using the File->Export->Web menu option. It creates a simple html photo gallery with user control of viewing larger version of the thumbnails. It published to a folder on the desktop, the contents of which can be manually uploaded to your iDisk/Web/Sites folder. You can run it on the desktop first to see if it will suit your needs.
    The URL would be: web.me.com/youraccount_name/name_of_uploadedfolder/index.html. If you have multiple albums you would have to have a separate folder and URL for each.
    It will let you add either title or comments or both to the photos and select the background and text colors. This is an example. It requires no special java or other software. Just a browser.

  • Very simple html template engine...

    Hi forum
    I need to create a very simple html templating engine. My requirements are only load a html document into an object (HTMLDocument for example?), search a couple of particular tag or string, treat the text found between these tags like a block, repeating the content all the necessary times, and replacing a special string within the text for another one.
    Here an example:
    <html>
    <title>Foo page</title>
    <body>
    <table>
    <!-- Initial special tag -->
            <tr>
                <td>{String to replace}</td>
            </tr>
    <!-- Final special tag -->
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>If i pass the html example code for the template engine with the following parameters, the result that i want is:
    Number of times to repeat the BLOCK: 3
    Text to replace de special string: Hello world
    <html>
    <title>Foo page</title>
    <body>
    <table>

            <tr>
                <td>Hello world</td>
            </tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>Thats all. I search in google for something but a encountered only javascript based "applications", except the "Rhino" engine, but that is to much for mi needs.

  • Bookmarks.html Renders Very Differently in FireFox 4

    For years, I have been using and loving Firefox (including 4.0).
    For years, I have also exported my bookmarks out of Firefox and use the resulting bookmarks.html file as my home page.
    Now Firefox 4 renders the bookmarks.html file very differently from previous versions of Firefox and also differently from other browsers (eg, IE).
    The indentations have disappeared when viewing bookmarks.html in Firefox 4. Unfortunately, it's not really easy to show you this inside this forum text box, but I will try.
    Firefox 4 shows something like this:
    '''Bookmarks Menu'''
    '''General Interest'''
    Markham Weather Forecast - Environment Canada
    The Weather Network - Markham
    The Weather Channel - Markham
    AccuWeather.com - Canadian Forecast Center
    ... etc
    Firefox 3.6, IE, and other browsers show something like this (note the indentations which greatly improve readability):
    '''Bookmarks Menu'''
    '''General Interest'''
    Markham Weather Forecast - Environment Canada
    The Weather Network - Markham
    The Weather Channel - Markham
    AccuWeather.com - Canadian Forecast Center
    ... etc
    Is this a bug in Firefox 4?? I would really like to see bookmarks.html rendered with the indentations.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks.

    '''Cor-el''' - is there a way that can be added to the bookmarks.html file, instead of having to click on a bookmarklet each time the page is opened?

  • Mixing simple HTML with JSF

    Is there any way to mix some simple HTML in the middle of my JSF code? For example, in creating a data table, I want one of the columns to contain two values with a <br> between them. I tried this:
    <h:data_table value="#{BeanColl}" var="_loopvar_TestBean" >
    <h:column>
      <f:subview id="abc">
          <h:output_text  value="#{_loopvar_TestBean.name}" /> <BR />
          <h:output_text  value="#{_loopvar_TestBean.city}" />
      </f:subview>
    </h:column>
    </h:data_table>I also tried f:verbatim, which also was no good. I tried replacing the <br> with some text, just to see what was happening with it, and it was putting the text up above the table.
    (My real problem is more complicated than just a <br>, so I am really looking for a more general answer. Eventually I will want to nest data_table tags.)
    I'd be perfectly happy with a repeat tag of some sort, that just repeats the section of the page that it surrounds (which might contain text, HTML tags, and JSF tags) and doesn't try to help in building a table of any sort. In fact, this would make me a lot happier. But I don't find such a beast anywhere in the copious documentation.
    Thanks in advance for any and all help.
    Zag

    Thanks all for advice so far. I have tried all the suggestions in here, and I still can't seem to get what I want. What I am really looking for is a simple repeat tag, without it giving me all the "help."
    I tried Sergey's example, and it does, in fact, work fine in the header. However, to get the same behavior in the column itself does not seem to work. This code:
    <h:data_table value="#{BeanColl}" var="_loopvar_TestBean" >
    <h:column>
       <!-- Header works great. -->
       <f:facet name="header">
          <f:subview id="abc">
              <h:output_text  value="HeaderText1" />
              <f:verbatim escape="false"><BR /></f:verbatim>
              <h:output_text  value="HeaderText2" />
         </f:subview>
       </f:facet>
       <!-- Same code in the column does not work -->
          <h:subview id="abd">
              <h:output_text  value="text1" />    <!-- question="This tag does NOTHING!!  Why?"  -->
              <f:verbatim escape="false"><BR /></f:verbatim>
              <h:output_text value="#{_loopvar_TestBean.id}" />
         </h:subview>
    </h:column>Here is the amazing thing: In my column data, the only tag which produces anything is the last output_text. I had thought that the problem had to do with the verbatim, but, in fact, JSF doesn't seem to want to produce any output that doesn't come directly from the loop variable! The first output_text in the column data, which should produce "text1" in each cell in the column, does not seem to do anything at all.
    I have also tried using panel_group rather than subview, with the same results.
    Is there some tag other than data_table which will repeat over data? I've looked, but maybe I'm just blind. I want something that does a lot less for me, and gives me the power to get what I actually want.
    Any and all help and advice, even if it doesn't pan out, is greatly appreciated. (Do I sound desparate enough, yet?) :-)

  • Creating a simple HTML template

    Hello All,

    Hi
    Which SRM version are you using ?
    Please do the following steps ->
    -->Activate the services through SICF  - SRM transaction code.
    > Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Default host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
    Right click on any of the services (there you will find option to De-actiave / activate the service)

    Re: Service Cannot be Reached
    Please ensure IACOR service must be running correctly before publishing the HTML Templates using the report - W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES
    When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )
