Simulating someone else's session in APEX

Hi,
Just curious if someone has successfully implemented simulating someone else's session in APEX. For example:
Admin logs into their account as user: Admin
Regular user, Bob, calls up and says that he's having problems viewing a report etc...
Admin then goes to the admin section of the application, and clicks on "run application as: " and selects Bob
Admin can then run the entire application "as Bob" (so that he's viewing bob's data) to help debug the problem.
If you have, have you been able to also view the other user's custom interactive reports etc?

I don’t like master passwords. It’s too risky, especially if you have several people who need to use them, and as you mentioned yourself, it can create serious auditing problems.
As I mentioned in my previous post, the actual implementation can vary, depends on the privileges of the help desk people, and the nature of their work. If the assistance they provide are only functional (helping others to correctly use the application) they only use remote desktop (or similar software, which just allow them to see the user screen). If they are part of the development team, and they need to verify and correct possible bugs pertains to a specific user, they are changing its original password to their own; within the Application builder, they are login to the application as the end user, and perform all the necessary repairs; Change the end user password to a general password, like ‘1234’ with the “Require Change of Password on First Use” field set to “YES”. The end user will login to the application, using the general password, and will be asked to change it. Now he can enter (back) its original password. This way the end user password remains private, and members of the development team (or other users for that matter) can’t impersonate to be that user. Auditing is also remaining intact.

You will need to get the sid and the serial# from v$session. Once you have them, issue one of the following:
You can use dbms_support to enable and disable the trace. If it is not installed, you will need run $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/dbmssupp.sql
To enable a level 1 trace, like setting sql_trace=true
exec dbms_support.start_trace_in_session(<sid>,<serial#>);
To enable trace with binds
exec dbms_support.start_trace_in_session(<sid>,<serial#>,binds=true);
Toe enable trace with binds and waits
exec dbms_support.start_trace_in_session(<sid>,<serial#>,waits=true,binds=true);
To stop tracing
exec dbms_support.stop_trace_in_session(<sid>,<serial#>);
It is better to end the session instead of disabling the trace. Some cursor stat lines may not be written to the trace when disabling trace that would have been written if the session terminated.

Verizon gave my landline phone number to someone else and now can't fix the problem FOR ME

I have a landline that is used for emergencies only in case my 7 year old son needs to be transported to the hospital for his seizures. I tried using the phone about 3 weeks ago during some bad weather only to find out there was no dial tone. Luckily, my cell phone woked. I contacted Verizon who sent out a technician who found out that the problem "was on their end." His work order showed someone else's name and address and he went to their house first before coming to mine. They told him they didn't have a problem so he came to my address.
I had called my "old" number from my cell phone to see if it would ring and ended up speaking to the husband of the lady who had "my" phone number. The tech asked them if they were willing to give up "my" number and they agreed to do so. The tech said he would resolve this issue for me because he'd never seen anything like it before. Maybe he and his supervisor should visit this forum and see how other customers have had the same issue. I received two calls yesterday from a Verizon customer support rep who tried to restore my service. She had to transfer me over to security or some department who treated me very rudely and told me to send a copy of my driver license or a copy of a bill to Verizon because they couldn't approve her order request. She had remained on the line with me. By this point, I'm getting **bleep** because this is the 2nd time I've been transferred to that verification department and I wanted to ask "Why don't I just send a copy of "my" bill showing my name and phone number as verification? Would that suffice?" The cust supp rep tried to explain to her what was going on but I am still without service. I had already verified my info last year when service was established and don't feel the need to provide this info again. It's Verizon's mess and they should fix it.
I am penning my letter to the corporate headquarters today. I even chatted online with another cust serv rep who was snarky with me until I typed that the chat session would be included with the letter to corporate. Then she tried to be helpful. What concerns me is even if my number is established, what if it happens again during an emergency? What about a refund that's owed me for paying for a line that was last used in June 2014 up until the present time? I want my money back. I have online banking records showing my payments. I am thoroughly disappointed in Verizon. How dare they take my money, turn off my phone, and now can't even restore it. After I contact their corporate office, if the issue isnt resolved, I am filing a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office as well as the BBB. I suggest that everyone else who will encounter this problem file a complaint too.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Querying someone else's calendar for freebusys

Is it possible to query someone else's calendar for their freebusys by having their calendar address, port, and calendarID, without having their username/password?
I am using "com.sun.comclient.calendar" package and the SOCSCalendar class which is defined in that package.

1. Have you logged in as a valid user prior to attempting to get the freebusy information - i.e. you have a valid session?
2. If not, does the calendar server have 'anonymous' access allowed?

This issue is blocking my access to iTunes and any other file from my home computer. It keeps on telling me that I have to autorise my computer to pass on files, yet, it seems, for all this to happen, I need to get logged in through the phone's Apple ID. This of course is different to my one on my computer - and I have no password for it.
This phone is not stolen!! I payed still a fair bit for it. Am still in contact with the previous owner. He doesn't know how to fix the problem either.
Would appreciate any suggestion ????

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id.

How do i reset my master password on MacBook Pro previously owned by someone else?

I purchased from someone else in 2011 and needed to reset master password. It was done, but now I am having problems resetting it. It does not recognize the reset password. I am trying to add new software and can't do so without password. Can someone please help me? I entered to change in terminal window, but when it comes to adding new password, computer won't allow to add new passcode in blank.

After a reboot my iPhone 6 Plus now has someone else's Apple ID as the login??? I bought the phone 3 months ago brand new!

The title says it all.
Some background info:
1. I purchased the iPhone 6 Plus new in the box at Target on January 10 2015. The phone has only ever been mine, and it was not a refurbished device.
2. Absolutely no one else has access to my PC or iTunes, whether it be physical access or knowing my usernames or passwords.
What happened;
1. Phone fell out of my hand face down on my patio. It had the leather Apple case on it. Picked it up and sure enough the entire front screen was smashed.
2. Phone responds to touch, but not property. I contemplate doing a backup and then resetting but I skip that and just do a "erase all content and settings"
3. Phone reboots and prompts me for this Apple ID (x*****@1*****.com) to log in.
4. That is NOT my Apple ID, not even close
5. I have no idea how the strange Apple ID is now embedded in MY phone, I have absolutely no way to access my own phone!
What I have done:
1. Called and spoke to several Apple reps; technical, Apple care, customer service, and then finally a senior supervisor named Matt.
2. Matt spent over an hour on the phone with me discussing this and he decided I should email him my proof of purchase directly through an Apple link that he emailed me.
3. I scanned every document I had with the receipt, paperwork, IMEI info and sent it over. He reviewed and says he will have to put in a request to do a force unlock which will remove the strange Apple ID and allow me back in
4. I set up an appointment at the nearest Apple Store to fix the phone. They do not know of the Apple ID issue and I was told they wouldn't be equipped to handle that anyway until the phone would be able to be unlocked.
5. So now I have to wait for Apple to force unlock my phone before (hopefully) my appointment on Tuesday so I can get in to it and they can fix it
Now from all the people I have talked to and all the Googling I have done I have found no reference to this happening to anyone ever. The only related incidents like mine is if someone bought the phone through another consumer or sold it online and did not wipe their ID properly. This however doesnt apply to me since I bought it from Target, unless they sold me some second hand phone.
Any opinions or insights on what it is that has actually happened to my phone from the time it broke and rebooted to magically having someone else's Apple ID as the authentication?
I really hope someone here has some insight.

The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

You need to remove all software that you acquired from the Mac App Store, including newer versions of OS X. These are all registered to you and encoded with your Apple ID in the licensed copy. You cannot legally pass any of the software to the new owner, which is why Apple states to erase the Mac and return it to the version of OS X that shipped from the factory on the Mac. You must also remove any older Apple software that you installed by DVD or pass the DVD to the new owner with the Mac.

The apps you are trying to update were purchased with (and therfore permanently linked to) someone elses Apple ID. If you do not know the password then you need to delete the app and redownload/purchase it with your Apple ID.

Sorry, you can't do that unless they are on your LAN. I don't know of any apps that will let you do it.

It sounds like you're deleted message threads keep coming back after you restart the devie. I recommend starting by quitting all the running apps on your phone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes and then restore it as a new device and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

I now want to download the app again through MY account. When I click INSTALL it asks for ID, but it shows up automatically with the other person's ID, so I delete that and enter mine instead. I then click SIGN IN, but then it says "Unknown error", then I click OK, then it says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)". How do I get rid of all info of other people's IDs so I can get the app through my account again?
The app that I'm trying to download actually might have been a pirated app. But I deleted it, so why is it not letting me get it through my account?

How can I view my iCloud contacts from someone else's iPhone? I don't want to change their phone settings.

Yesterday I ran into a problem that was eye opening to say the least. I could not not access my contacts in order to find a friend's phone number. No one remembers phone numbers any more. God knows I don't.
I was on a jetski and it broke down. I was stranded at a dock miles away. I needed to contact my friend to tell him (a) I'm ok, (b) where I was, (c) to bring a tow. Of course I had no phone on me because it would have gotten soaked.
People were kind enough on the dock to let me use their smart phones to attempt to retreive the phone number and call for help. But I quickly discovered that it is impossible.
On an iPhone, I tried to use their Safari browser to go to www.icloud.com. When you do that, it simply redirects you to the apps. But it isn't my phone, and their apps are logged in to the owner's accounts. I wasn't about to update the settings in a stranger's phone.
One guy let me try his iPad with Cellular. Same problem as the iphones. It would not let me use www.icloud.com. It insisted that I use the native iOS apps.
On an Android, www.icloud.com would simply refuse to work. It would say it was not supported.
The question I have is: How can I view my contacts from someone else's smart phone in an emergency situation?
Second question: Why can't I use www.icloud.com on a smart phone's web browser like I can on regular computer?
I got lucky. I happened to know my mom's home number. Many hours later she was home and I was able to use a phone to call her. She brought up www.icloud.com on her home computer, logged on as me, and read me the phone number I was seeking. But what are the chances of being able to call a trusted person who has access to a computer to do this for you?

Without "pretending" to be yourself on the other phone (change settings) there's nothing else you can do.
iOS devices are meant to be single user and can't view iCloud.com the same way a Mac or PC can do.
You need to find a desktop or laptop machine (Mac or PC) to log in at iCloud.
