SLA issue - disabling wip journals

Hi,
I need to disable the wip journal entries for my secondary ledger.
Trying to disable the create accounting for each wip event class and I am promped with the following error:
APP-XLA-95474
This event class has details. Please delete all details for this event class or event type before unchecking the create accounting flag
Does anyone got a clue how to work it out?
Thanks,
Christian

Hi,
you have to delete all the information under Journal Lines Definition Assignment segment. Only after that, you can uncheck the Create Accounting Flag for the Event Class you want to.

  • Operation pull material not issued to wip job

    Hi,
Issue is happening intermittently and not sure of root cause.
Operation pull components are not issued to wip job when move transactions are performed.
supply subinventory and locator as in wip job are having sufficient onhand available.
Can some one please let me know probable causes / setups which I need to verify if some one has faced this kind of issue already.
    Thanks

  • Goods Issue creates no Journal Entry

    Hello-
I'm in something of a unique situation in that (not going into any details) I've been given an only partially complete add-on to Business One and must now finish it.  I've had no formal training in the SDK; everything I've learned has been through this forum, the help files and simply experimenting with the code.  Given this, there are probably many things of which I'm not aware.
    My question, then:
Is there some sort of way to "turn off" the creation of Journal Entries, either in the SDK or in a company's settings, when a Goods Issue is made?  I ask because right now no Journal Entry is being created, even though one is made for all other documents (Goods Receipt, Inventory Transfer, etc.).  I'd like to turn it back on again, because not creating a Journal Entry doesn't seem like the right thing to do.
    Thank you.

    Hi Van,
There is no setting that will turn off GL postings and a Goods Issue will create journal entries unless it is saved as a draft.
Have you logged this will SAP Support?
    Kind Regards,
    Owen

  • Controller Issue? or Journaling issue?

    Hello all
I've been having this weird problem with an Xserve RAID and a couple of servers. I've been narrowing down the problem but i want to get some outside input on the matter.
I have 3 Xserves, 2 connected to the Xserve RAID (DAS). The problem seems to happen at random, but always starts with the same xserve. The problem seems to be a hardware issue, form what i can see in the logs, the tricky part is identifying the piece of hardware responsible. Here are all the clues i've been gathering:
    Problem starts with
kernel[0]: jnl: disk0s3: flushing fs disk buffer returned 0x5
    Sometimes followed by
    kernel[0]: ASP_TCP CancelOneRequest: cancelling slot 0 error 89 reqID 1 flags 0x9 afpCmd 15 so 0x1006ecc0
    And then the horrible
    kernel[0]: disk0s3: I/O error.
    kernel[0]: jnl: disk0s3: dojnlio: strategy err 0x5
kernel[0]: jnl: disk0s3: writejournalheader: error writing the journal header!
    kernel[0]: disk0s3: I/O error.
The inevitable screams from the services that depend on that volume follow
    imap[3899]: IOERROR: opening /Volumes/Userdata/spool/imap/user/jcarrillo/cyrus.header: Input/output error
This causes AFP to stop and also imapd, both of which have their working directories within that volume. These are disks 8-13 in one hfs+ journaled volume in the raid.
At first we thought the HBA's were the ones misbehaving, but after swapping slots and swapping servers, the same server is the one failing us.
This error doesn't make the server unresponsive, only processes or actions that involve reading the volume, hang, that includes a simple ls in /Volumes or diskutil.
We've already fsck both disks with no red flags. Here's the diskutil list
    diskutil list
    /dev/disk0
    #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
    0: Applepartitionscheme *2.3 Ti disk0
    1: Applepartitionmap 64.0 Ki disk0s1
    2: Apple_HFS Userdata 2.3 Ti disk0s3
    /dev/disk1
    #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
    0: GUIDpartitionscheme *76.3 Gi disk1
    1: EFI 200.0 Mi disk1s1
    2: Apple_HFS hd 76.0 Gi disk1s2
I will be performing the Apple Xserve Diagnostics later tomorrow to discard server side hardware, but i am inclining towards a raid controller malfunction. Anyone seen something similar?
AFAIK there is no xserve raid diagnostics from apple, is there a third party tool? Or is it just a replace component thing and hope for the best?
Anything to help me be sure to blame the controller will be greatly appreciated.

You're only reporting logs from the host system. What about the logs on the RAID itself?
This sounds to me like a problematic array - possibly caused by a faulty disk. RAID Admin should give you some insight as to whether that's the case or not.

  • OES on VMWARE issue, disabled CPU

This has happened twice in as many weeks. We have a 4 node OES Cluster doing file shares. The server goes offline and the only mention in the VMWARE side is an event that states "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system" . If you reboot the machine, it acts like it has a 386 processor and no ram until you reboot it again. Then it functions normally. The only thing is /var/log/messages is normal traffic until the start up messages start to show.
    anyone else run into this?

  • SSIS Package Caused ASYNC_NETWORK_IO Issues - Disable LargeSend Offload & JumboPackets NIC Settings

We actually have multiple SSIS packages connecting to multiple servers and in one case we experienced very high ASYNC_NETWORK_IO even though the package had been in place for a long time and never caused this previously. Subsequently we opened a case with
MS Techsupport and after investigating many different aspects, Network Monitor was used to examine the traffic between two of the servers, the one where the package resides and the server that experience high ASYNC_NETWORK_IO. The NIC settings on the two servers
were checked and it was discovered that the LargeSend Offload and Jumbo Packets settings were different on the two servers.
The recommendation from MS Techsupport is to disable these settings on both servers, though we will have to expand this to cover at least another 6 servers. To disable these settings is apparently not considered as best practice by MS but nor is enabling
    them.
We are concerned about the effect changing these settings might have on other services, for instance batch jobs, web connections, .NET, etc., etc.
Has anyone else had to change their NIC settings in order to deal with a performance issue with SSIS packages, and are there any concerns which should be considered before proceeding with such changes?
N.B. It has been noticed that some NICs do not even have an option for Jumbo Packets in which case is that ignored by that NIC or is that defaulted to a value that cannot be changed?
    TIA

    Dear SAP Student
It is just like inter unit cash transfers.  Also each department is spending cash on its own.  Now that I would like to know the balance cash departmentwise.
As you said if I receive and pay through vendors I would be in a position to know only vendor wise balances.  It does not serve my very purpose of deparmentwise balance of cash.
I agree with Selva to go in for creating deparmentwise cash journals in the company code since each deparment is incurring expenses also and each department wise balance is also required.

    Dear All,
Thnx for your replies. But as I mentioned earlier, there are two Financial Documents generated for one cheque receipt, ideally we should have posted just one. But there is a duplicate document also.
If I select delete for the line item it might delete both the FI documents. But here I wish to delete just one of these two FI documents.
Accornding to one of ur replies, I should block the document and then delete. What it means?
Please help explain how to reverse just one of these two FI documents....
Thanks again and appreciate your help

  • Portege 3940ct OS upgrade to XPSP2-Driver Issues Disabling Lan Function

I have canvassed all the threads on this forum (and others), and have not found a solution to my problem. But, its obvious that the main thinkers on Toshiba laptop configuration problems are here. So, if there is a solution to my problem, my best shot is in this forum.
I am fairly advanced in the troubleshooting on this and the only thing that makes me think that there is a solution is that it seems that others have successfully installed XP on this unit.
    I have a 3940ct; I upgraded from W2kPro to XPSP2;
I have downloaded and installed all bios, drivers and toshiba utils for the unit from the Toshiba website.
I have confirmed that all system components are operational. They include a pcmcia cdrom, a network port replicator
    Everything is beautiful. . . . EXCEPT:
    I have no network function.
Indeed, I essentially have no internet communications function whatsoever--even through the modem. [The modem dials and as soon as the isp provider sends a communications handshake, WXP will not recognize it and disconnects]. (I have not tried to fax a document-- but I do not think that function is relevant to the problem).
Indeed, no matter what type of network connection device I try to install on the unit, the device driver will not install. This includes pcmcia network cards (10/100 based and wireless a-g,)and usb based wireless a-g adaptors.
Initially, after WXP was installed, I found that I could not get a Lan connection through network port replicator.
At power on, b/f WXP loads, the port replicator network connection LEDs indicate a connection. Once WXP loads, the port is disabled. [All other functions on the port replicator are operational under WXP].
Once logged on to WXP, WXP discovers "new hardware" and proceeds through the driver install proceess. It then proceeds to attempt to install an "unknown device". Ithen reports thatit can't locate a driver and then prompts for the user to finish the add hardware routine.
Device Manager reports several devices with yellow caution flags indicating the device driver could not be installed.
A look at the details tab on the "unknown device" (its under the "network device" tab) shows that the driver that is having a problem is "rasirda.sys". Device Manager will not permit the device to be uninstalled.
Other devices that have the yellow flag are:
    1. Toshiba FIR Port Type-D0
    2. IrDA Protocol (hidden device)
    3. TCPIP (hidden device)
and any network adapter I try to install.
Device driver installations for network adapters, including the port replicator network controller (Intel 8255x based pci Ethernet Adapter (10/100), and its sister driver), will not install (and will not uninstall until the device is removed).
A look at the Administrator's System "Services" window indicates that essentially all the services necessary to support network/internetrleated services are disabled. The dependencies show that the all of these services are dependent, directly or indirectly, on "services.exe". That service will not execute and, when the service is forced to start, WXP reports that the service.exe does not initiate the indicated program.
Under "System Information", a look at the "network" tab indicates that there is a network adapter called "RAS Async Adapter" that is disabled.
My first approach to this problem was to reinstall the Toshiba driver update for the Toshiba FIR controller. To no avail.
The next thought was to simply disable the FIR function, but that can't be done at the bios level.... and well, as ambitious as I am, I did not want to venture into the machine to determine if the IR controller could be disconnected/removed from the system board......[But if that is a potential solution, then I will go there...]
As noted above, the only reason I have any hope is that it seems that others have successfully implemented XP on the 3xxx series porteges, all of which, to my knowledge have this same IR port. Also, Toshiba even wrote an XP driver for the device.
What I find puzzling, amoung other things, is that Device Manager reports the Rasirda.sys device under the network adapter tab. I would have thought this would have been reported under the "non plug and play" or "system device" tabs. Be that as it may, it would appear that Toshiba implemented the IR device as a network adaptor, or at least that is how WXP is recognizing it.
I have searched the internet, been on the Toshiba website, the microsoft XP webpages, knowledge bases, etc., and have not encountered any notable solutions per se..though I have benefitted from certain of the troubleshooting protocols--not my true ambition.
Bottom line is I need to have this computer connected to the internet. With all the protocols and services supporting internet communications disabled, even through the modem, ....well, its ridiculous. I can't even register WXP!! How absurd is that! Well its getting late.
Hopefully, someone will have a solution/workaround that will resolve this.
In the interim, I think the next step is to start over and reinstall XP and try . . . again.
I would appreciate any assistance anyone can muster.

What is odd is that Toshiba has written some XP drivers for the hardware in this unit and it is posted at www.pcsupport.toshiba.com. [file name is: p349irxp.exe] .
Also, just canvass this board and there are any number of 3xxx owners who have seemingly installed XP successfully--with one glitch or another (no pcmcia cd-rom) looking for relatively basic work arounds. In fact, my XP install works great except for the fact that virtually none of the drivers necessary to access the WWW will install, hardware or software.
I do appreciate the point you make re upgrading older equipment. I should have known better....eh?
Thanks for your two cents worth. I have read a number of your messages in canvassing this site and noted your insight. I appreciate your efforts and attempt to consider the source of my problem.

  • Issue in WIP Move Transactions Data Loading

    Hi,
I am not able to load the data from Move Transaction Interface Table(wip_move_txn_interface) to the Move Transactions base table(wip_move_transactions). I used WICTMS concurrent program for pumping the data to the base tables.
I tested all datas in the interface table is looking fine.
I given for some flag values in the cols
    Process_Phase 1(Move validation), Process_Status 1(Pending)
    and Transaction_Type 1(Move Transaction)
And also i tested with all combination flags in the above cols but still the datas are not loading to the move transactions base table.
can any one give ur idea to solve this issue
    with regards
    Ram

    Hi,
pls check the move transaction interface manager.
it should be launched and scheduled to run in frequent interval.
the functionality of this manager is to procedd the pending records in interface and to update in base table ( move transactions)
u can check the move trxn manager in inventory-->setup-->interface managers

A material called gallium nitride (GaN) is poised to become the next semiconductor for power electronics, enabling much higher efficiency than silicon.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology spinout Cambridge Electronics Inc (CEI) has announced a line of GaN transistors and power electronic circuits that promise to cut energy usage in data centres, electric cars, and consumer devices by 10 to 20 per cent worldwide by 2025.
Many of these power-electronics systems rely on silicon transistors that switch on and off to regulate voltage but, due to speed and resistance constraints, waste energy as heat.
CEI's GaN transistors have at least one-tenth the resistance of such silicon-based transistors, which allows for much higher energy-efficiency...Read More
