Smartform convert to WORD - e-mail/fax

Hi All,
Quickly can we convert Smartform output to Word output. Currently I am doing Smartform converted to PDF and sending that as e-mail/fax. New requirement is to send in word format. Can we convert Samrtform to WORD and send as e-mal/fax?

  • Mail & fax option in Smartforms

    Hi,
    Is there an option of sending mails & fax through Smartforms.Pleas guide me through this query.

    Go to SPAD and check if u have configured Fax machine in SAP or not..
    Then u select the Medium as 5 and then go to NACE..select the application ...
    then press condition type...
    there u will get a list of output types..just select the one for your object and double click on it..
    Enter the necessary values and then u will be taken to a screen..
    There on Top left u can see communication method...
    Enter the Fax dest that u  have seen in SPAD tcode..

    I have a requirement where I need to generate smart form.
    And there should be an option for mailing & faxing for that smartform.
    So far I ceated smart form & the smart form is getting displayed properly.
    Now could any one please tell me how to provide the mailing & fax options for this smart form?
    How it actually works?means how it will give option for both mailing & for Faxing at a time?

  • Convert a word document to multiple PDF documents

    Hello
    I would like to convert a word document to multiple PDF documents. (i.e. convert 20 page word document into 20 single page PDF's). Is it possible to do this easliy and quickly.
    I have used word mail merge to create multiple cover letters in word
    I would now like to convert each cover letter (which is 1 page each) into individialized PDF's so that I can email them out as attachments
    I currently have been copying and pasting from my master word document into a fresh word document (one page at a time) then, saving, then converting to PDF one cover letter at a time. Although this works it is time consuming and I figured there may be an easier quicker way to do this
    Any thoughts, suggesstions, would be greatly appreciated

    It is possible to convert the word document into a PDF then while the PDF is open do:
    Document
    Extract Pages
    1-20
    Check "Extract pages as seperate files"
    This will give you 20 seperate files.

  • Convert MS Word bookmarks to pdf

    Let me say that I'm no expert here but have been working with Acrobat Standard X for 5 years before a laptop crash.
    Purchased  and installed Acrobat Standard X recently and noticed 2 problems I didnt have on my old version.
    #1 Noticed that there is no adobe buttons in any of my microsoft office (excel, word ...).
    #2 I use standard X to write manuals.  Using word to create the doc, I use bookmarks in word and then convert to pdf. but the bookmarks are not converting over to pdf.  I have insured that preferences/convert to pdf/Word  "add bookmarks to Adobe pdf" is checked.  Still no bookmarks are converted.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Acrobat X is fully compatible with Office 2003. It includes MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT), Word_Import Comments, MS Outlook, Mail Merge, Attach As PDF, Attach As Secured PDF, MS Visio/Project, MS Access, MS Publisher.

    So you dont have to downgrade anything. You are all set to go. All you need to perform the steps mentioned in the Knowledgebase article to get the Acrobat Tab in MS Word/Excel etc to convert the word files along with the bookmarks.

  • Using a PC; converting a Word 2010 document to PDF; upon completion the PDF document has a dark and/or patterned background; I have tried "removing" the background but that has not worked.

    Can someone help me remove what appears to be a 'background' that is created when converting a Word 2010 doc to a PDF format.  I am using the 'save as' method and selecting PDF as the file type.  I have used this method for over a year and have just had this "background" problem today.  It is not happening on all documents; so far it's just happened on 2 resumes but not on the accompanying cover letters which I think is very odd.

    I’ve attached the converted documents so you can see what I mean.  The Word document was not shaded in these ways; it was just a white background…or no background at all.
    I don’t know if these were created from scanned documents.

  • Define a path to save my converted pdf word document

    I would like to be able to define a specific place to save the pdf document I have converted from Word. The script I'm writing should normally able me to send to my customer a personalised mail with an attach pdf document. The mail and the pdf are personalised for each customer.     You can convert PDF to Word using either  the ExportPDF online service, or Acrobat. I checked your account, and it doesn't look like you've purchased an ExportPDF subscription. If you want to give Acrobat a try, you're welcome to download a 30-day trial from the link I reference above. In Acrobat, you choose File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.

    When we use Tcode SOST we find the 'order sent by report pg is "waiting in queue for communication service"(it is a warning message)with the sender and receiver name present.
    What is that we are missing out. help required..!!

      In SOST goto <b>UTILITIES-->Start send process</b>
      In the Pop up select the <b>Trans.Method</b>.
      This should work.
      If not then there might be some settings missing to
      send mail.

  • Trying to converting fillable word documents to fillable pdf-when opening in Reader, no longer fillable

    I am converting fillable word documents (set up as tables with protection activated) into fillable pdf forms using LiveCycle but am having problems once I try to open them in Adobe Reader 9.2. I am unable to save the pdf as dynamic (the only option is static). They are no longer fillable and show "You are viewing this document in PDF/A mode".  Any advise...what am I doing wrong?

    First you need to install a means of printing to pdf from word.  I like cutepdf writer ( http://cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp ).  Once installed you will print the doc in word and under the printer selection you choose pdf.
    Once you have the file you put it in your local site folders and upload it using Dreamweaver.  Be sure to link to it from a page so users can get to it and I would recommend giving the link a target of _black so it will open in a new window (see the properties inspector in DW).
