SNC/ECC Integration via XI standard content

Hi Everyone,
We are trying to integrate an SNC system (formerly known as ICH) with backend ECC systems and have the following questions:
1) Modifications to XI delivered Content
I understand that it is best practice to copy XI delivered content into our own namespace and make modifications from that point on. For messages coming from SNC via ABAP proxy into XI, it is still coming in on the SAP namespace, which seems to be hardcoded in SNC. What is the correct way to work with SAP delivered content in XI?
2) Content based receiver determination
We have installed the SNC XI content into our systems, but in the SLD it does not show up under the SWCVs for our SNC system. This is stopping us from doing content based receiver determination as the dropdown for the filter page is throwing an error that the content is not installed. Has anyone come across this issue?

1. Modifications to XI delivered Content
Yes, its preferrable to copy XI delivered content into your namespace and make modifications in it. But if the messages are comming to SAP namespace then you can just re-use the Message Mapping with the Message type from SAP namespace and in it make the further configurations such as receiver communication, receiver determination etc .accordingly.
2. Probably you have to use it with SAP Product only, as its not available under the Product designed by you and the the your namesapce and the other one are different. so try to configure the Receiver determination for SAP namespace only.

SRM XI standard content ...SRM Server 7.0 - Outbound proxy not working

Hello All,
we have integrated SRM SUS with ECC 6.0 using XI standard content XI SRMSERVER IC 7.0. With same configuration, Purchase Order has been send from ECC to SUS and PO is created successfully in SRM SUS. But, while confirming the purchase order, its not generating outbound proxy message.
And when we check the interface PurchaseOrderConfirmation_Out(i.e dobule clicking) in SPROXY transaction of SRM SUS, getting the following LOG:
1. Logical port template is inconsistent, regenerate it and activate it
2. cannot create LPT without DT profiles
3. Regernate proxy(inactive version incorrect)

1.Check your Port creation from ECC to XI 2 SRM.
2. Activate your proxies properly and check whethar your proxy communication working properly or not.

Missing DTPs, transformations of FI-CA & IS-U CCS into BI Standard Content

BI Experts,
I'm a basis guy trying to do some research for our BI team.
We are starting an IS-U CCS implementation (on top of existing/running SAP system) and have ECC6.0 EHP3 with IS-U activated in back-end. The BW system is connected to this ECC instance.
Our BI team says we are having the following problem:
"We need to get the missing DTPs, transformations of FI-CA and IS-U CCS into BI Standard Content "
We have a netweaver 7.0 system that was upgraded from 6.20 about 6 months ago. I recently updated the system to the following support pack levels:
SAP_ABA 700 18 SAPKA70018
SAP_BASIS 700 18 SAPKB70018
PI_BASIS 2006_1_700 8 SAPKIPYM08
SAP_BW 700 20 SAPKW70020
BI_CONT 704 1 SAPK-70401INBICONT
Can anyone tell me how I can get these missing DTPs, transformations and IS-U into BI standard content ? I'm wondering if I need NW7.0 EHP1 for my BI system?

just FYI, sap support is helping us resolve this issue. First, we loaded the transport from SAP note 1179880 . That helped give us the content, but still missing some DTPs.
Sap is working on a new support pack to fix our issue.

Where to download the standard content for SRM to import to PI 7.4

i am implementing the MM-SUS by PI. My SRM is 7.03 and PI is 7.04.
i have not implement this before. When i configure the PI Integration repository ,it need to import the Standrad Content for SRM.
My question is where i can find the standard content to download, can anyone help me with more detail? thanks a lot!

Ability to add standard content/text to incident responses?

Hi.
I've worked with other incident management applications that allowed for the configuration and use of standard content that could be stored and then inserted into threads via shortcut keys.
I've been searching for info on if and how it is possible to do this with Service Manager but I haven't found anything.
The process is similar to recording macros in Word and then running them with a shortcut key, but it only involves pasting static text into the comment field.
For example, a signature block for the specific agent who worked the incident, or perhaps a paragraph that is entered repeatedly as a comment for incidents that are in progress.
I am not looking for a template/subscription/notification solution. I'm only looking to be able to quickly insert a block of text into a comment in an existing incident, without having to store the text in a different application and then doing a copy/paste
process to add it.
Any help/guidance is much appreciated.

I actually found a pretty simple way to accomplish what I was hoping for.
I created a Knowledge Article and included *internal only* content.
Users can then open a ticket and search for the article and use the "copy to clipboard" function from the article, and then paste it into the comment section.
Not as fast as a shortcut key, but not bad, and it will meet our needs.

TM - ECC Integration through billing document

We are using SAP TM 9.0 , a forwarding settlement document is created and triggers billing document creation in ECC system via PI , we need to pass more fields towards ECC , is there a standard way to achieve such requirement ?

I have been trying to build an interface between TM and ECC systems [via PI]using standard interfaces.
TM source standard interface is : TransportationRequestQuotationConfirmation_Out.
Could anyone please help me in knowing the name of standard receiver interface for this in ECC?

Because if you are using the standard then you should have imported it.

Data Migration from Legacy system to ECC systems via ETL through SAP PI

Hi All,
I wanted to know if we can migrate the data from Legacy systems to ECC systems via PI.
What I understand is there is ETL tool is used to extract the data from legacy system, and what client is looking to load that data via PI?
Can we do that ? I am concerned because this will involve mass data?
If I have to use PI , I see option of PROXY / IDOC /FILE as receiver in ECC system (take the data from ETL)?
Can somebody has done this earlier , please share the approach.

I require few details from you.
1. What ETL tool you are using, If Informatica, it already have PowerConnect to connect to SAP. So you can create source and Target Structure and also you can use RFC's to send data to R/3. Else, for other ETL tools, can you prepare RFC's or any other way to send data to R/3. let me know the tool.
2. Does R/3 contains the master data tables? If yes, then try to use LSMW for Mass upload of data to tables.
If your client don't want to use either of these options please elaborate, what is the case.

How to make a VR html file autoplay via the Web Content overlay

Hello,
We have created a VR using Object2VR and have loaded the .html file via the Web Content Overlay panel in InDesign CS5.5.
We want this VR to play automatically on page load, so we have checked the box 'aut play' in the Web Content overlay panel, but it won't play automatically.
We've tried switching the auto play off in Object 2VR and switching it on in the Web Content overlay and vice versa and also with both on, but still we cannot get it to autoplay.
Any suggestions? Is this a bug?

DPS is no longer supported in 5.5 you need Indesign 6 or Creative Cloud.
Set you auto play delay for the web overlay to something other than zero seconds, 0.125 works, if it is set to zero seconds. Leave the auto play enabled for the VR.

After upgrade to iOS 7.1 calendar integrated via caldav is no longer available

Hi,
We use several iOS devices in my family and we share a calendar sitting on our home NAS (Synology). The calendar is integrated via 'caldav'.
This worked fine for a long time (also using the latest iOS 7.0x versions).
However, after upgrading the devices to iOS7.1 we have one iPhone5 that no longer shows the shared caldav calendar. In setting the calendar shows up and the connection can be validated successfully. However, the calendar app does not show this shared family calendar. As it would not have been configured.
On the other devices the calendar works fine.
The phone not showing the calendar is also syncrhonized with an additional MS Exchange calendar. This still works fine. I mentioned it because this is something that is different compared to those devices that still show the shared caldav calendar.
Does anybody has an idea about how to fix this situation?
Is there any workaround to make the configured, shared caldav calendar visible in the calendar app?

Update: This was caused by a hardware failure of the Touch ID and just happened to coincide with when I did the update. Got my phone exchanged today and everthing is working properly.

why i have asked this question we do create some PR from APO system. but their APO Purchase request uses same number range in the ECC system.
for eg. APO creates PR -300001
ECC creates PR -300002
but i dont know how it achieved in APO -ECC scenario.

Can I work backward from APO CIF function module to ECC Integration Model

On our APO box, I have activated the "new-style" BAdI which is called by the CIF function module /SAPAPO/CIF_TLANE_INBOUND:
CALL BADI lr_ref_cif_enhance->inbound_tlane
How can I find out what the business analysts have to do in their ECC Integration Model
to make sure that the CIF_TLANE_INBOUND function module is called when the Integration Model is activated (so that the BAdI will also fire)?.
Our current Integration Model does fire the BAdI /SAPAPO/IF_EX_TR_TRANSFER , but not the "enhance inbound tlane" BAdI called by CIF_TLANE_INBOUND.
So ...to restate the question:
How do I figure out what I have to tell the business analysts to do in their Integration Model to make sure that CIF_TLANE_INBOUND is called when the model is actrivated ???

I was away in a long meeting and just came back. A quick check in another R/3 (Enterprise) system showed the following:
There is no FM in the R/3 Enterprise box as CIF_TLANE_SEND and in APO (SCM4.1)
/SAPAPO/CIF_TLANE_INBOUND. This is not surprising esp when I check the other system versions based on which I did the initial research. It was ECC 6.0 with Enterprise Extension DFPS switched on (checked SWF5) and the APO system SCM 5.0.
Lucky me I checked the internal Sandbox systems instead of my client systems otherwise I would have posted there is no FM CIF_TLANE_SEND
Forget the SD Scheduling Agreement object I mentioned in the previous reply. That master data object will not trigger FM CIF_TLANE_SEND. I found the correct FM for it CIF_SDLS_SEND on R/3 side and /SAPAPO/CIF_TPSCO_INBOUND on the APO side.
So you have to necessarily use the BADI or User Exit enhancements for TPSRC and NOT TLANE.
In any case if its a Contract or Scheduling Agreement or Purchasing Inforecord master in R/3 (or ECC any version) then TPSRC is the FM used to create External Procurement Relationships (txn /SAPAPO/PWBSRC1) in APO during CIF transfer. Also a corresponding Transportation Lane (txn /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1) gets created when the Procurement Relationship is added in APO. Otherwise you can always manually create a transportation lane in APO which is an important master data for External Procurement Order / Requisition creation in APO.
