So I buy an ITUNES $25 music card but I am still charged on my credit card?
Why am I still charged on my credit card when I buy a redeemable $25 card?
I would think the music card would be used before the credit card.
This is not right and needs to be changed or I will cancel my account with ITUNES and will cancel my IPHONE subscription.
Since there are prepay itunes card I find it a rip off that a credit card was used and in the sign up it says the credit card is only used to verify AGE ONLY.
So by going behind my back and putting purcahses using the credit card is not very honest when in fact I used a $25 itunes card.
APPLE FIX THIS FLAW ASAP!!!!!!! If you can't fix this then you will be hearing from lawyers.

1) Your post is very insulting. You could have told me that deleting your credit card did not work. You did not have to insult me.
2) Unless apple changed their requirements, you can Zero out your credit card information - after it has cleared your account and been removed. However I don not work for Apple and if they changed that requirement they would not have told that to me.
3) I have given you a perfectly working alternative that does work. If you refuse to believe me, that is your issue. I don't have to take your insults and you have no right to insult me.

How long does it take for a cancellation fee to process? After Adobe's servers were breached I received a phonecall from my bank, stating that someone had used my credit card at a hotel in Mexico (I live in Ohio). I closed that credit card and was issued a new card. I want to update my card information on my Creative Cloud subscription. I chatted via the web with a customer service rep today. He was anable to help me. He suggested I call the Care Center. The hold was estimated at 2 hours. Want to create Apple ID for both my children's IPad's. Tried creating new email account for my son and it will not let me. I want them to be only able to purchase from redeemed gift cards and everytime it asks me to update credit card info on their Ipad.
Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful. -
I am Canadian but travel between Canada and the US so have a Canadian account AND an American account. the movie I need to download (for a school project for my daughter) is not available through the Canadian iTune store, only the American but I am a whopping four dollers short on that account so I need to use a Canadian credit card to top up but do not want it left on the account. The billing address for the Canadian card is, obviously, a Canadian address..... what do I do????

The card which was on the account at the time of purchase should be the one charged - has he checked the card's statement ? I think the 'credit card' text on the receipt just means that the purchase was charged to the card on the account, it doesn't necessarily that it was a credit card.

My Apple ID is only limited to Indonesia iTunes Store. I would like to buy some music from iTunes USA Store. How could I use my Indonesia-based credit card in order for me to buy music from another iTunes store? The iTunes Indonesia store is very limited as it only sells apps and books products.

I tried to purchase music at iTunes with the iTunes card I was given. I was able to redeem the amount and it shows on my apple Id I have $25 but it does not pay my purchase it will still go to my credit card and bill it. It did not give an option.
If you were instructed to call them, then that's what you should do. They will probably need to verify your identity before helping you with the security question.
