    Hi
    My organisation is assessing Universal Customer Master and wants to put data from HRMS into it via data interface. However, we do not know if future dated records are able to be entered into UCM. This presents an issue, as HRMS records tend to have future dated changes that would not necessarily show in UCM.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Creation and change customer master in same LSMW

    Hi Experts,
    I have a created customer master uploading using batch input recording in lsmw.
    Now i have scenario like if the customer already exists i need to change that customer accordingly.
    I hope most of u would have come across such issue,for time being i tried makin 2 recordings for creation(XD01) and change(XD02)
    after assigning 2 structures for each creation and change, but i don know where to check whether the customer already exists and how to skip respective recordings....
    Pl suggest steps after this, if this one correct........
    Or if there any alter method pl do suggest me..

    Hi,
    In the begin of record, you can check whether a cust already exist in the system. Based upon the result you can change the Tab Name and Tcode.
    Just give this a try.

  • How to configure CVC automation process using SNP master data and BI customer master data

    Hi Gurus,
    How to configure CVC automation in MPOS structure technically, using SNP master data in CVC creation such as Product and location details
    and in parallel extract date from ECC to BI customer master data in DP. Where-in a APO BI cube should have only new combinations which are to be validated with ECC and existing combinations in the MPOS structure before creation of CVC in different regions of MPOS.
    Second the automation should also check certain validations of product, location and are part of SNP-ECC master data and are these new combinations.
    Could someone guide us in this process.

    The short answer is to move the data into infoproviders or flat files for all of the 'characteristic-type' source data; and then copy CVCs from the infoproviders into the Planning area, probably using one or more Process Chains (program /SAPAPO/TS_PLOB_MAINTAIN).
    The long answer is that this is not a trivial undertaking; this could end up being a pretty involved solution.  If you do not have enough BW/DP expertise available locally to create this solution for you, then I recommend you consider engaging external resources to assist you.  I personally wouldn't even consider starting to work on such a solution without first knowing a lot more about the detailed business requirements, and about any existing solutions that may already in place.  An SCN forum is not really suitable for such an answer.  In my opinion, the BBP doc alone would be 20+ pages, assuming no enhancements..

    Suppose I have a plant 4002, if i want to see all the material of plant 4002 then i can see those to following MM60 transaction code but if i want to see a particular material and that material is belongs to which sales area and which customer master then how it could be possible .

    You cannot see a material on customer basis unless it's MTO scenario, still try in t-code MB52.
    Otherwise try in table level as suggested above.

  • Delete Customer Master Data OBR2

    Hi
    I'm using LSMW to import data. I would like to delete it afterwards. Transaction OBR2 which is in spro Financial Accounting (New) -> Accounts Receivable And Payable -> Customer Accounts -> Master Data -> Delete Customer master data.
    But it does not delete the sales are segment, it also does not allow me to delete general data if sales segment exists.
    Can anyone please let me know if there is another way around this? Any other way to delete this test data???

    Please go through the SAP documentation on how to perform deletion of customer master data.
    This may help you in executing the function correctly.
    <b>Delete Customer Master Data</b>
    In this activity, you delete the master records for customers by using a program. Only use this program in the test phase.
    Note
    The company code for which master records are to be deleted, may not yet be flagged as productive.
    Only master records for accounts which do not have any transaction data may be deleted.
    Requirements
    The general customer master data is only deleted for customers who are not also created as customers in Sales and Distribution.
    Activities
    Delete the master records for the required company codes.
    Additional information
    Refer to the SAPF019 program documentation for further information on the program.
    Deleting Master Data
    Description
    This program deletes master data in Financial Accounting and is designed for preparing the system for productive startup. It deletes:
    •     Customer master data
    •     Vendor master data
    •     G/L account master data
    You can run this program in three different ways:
    1. Deleting general master data (in G/L accounts in one chart of accounts)
    2. Deleting master data dependent on company code
    3. Deleting general master data and master data dependent on company code
    For each deletion run, you can specify whether or not the system should take into account the deletion flag in master records ("Delete per deletion flag only"). If it takes into account deletion flags, it uses the following standard logic:
    Option 1: The "All areas" deletion flag must be set.
    Option 2: The "Specified co. code" deletion flag must be set.
    Option 3: It is sufficient to have the "All areas" deletion flag set.
    Note: Deletion blocks are always checked at general data and company code-dependent data level. If there is a block at company code-dependent data level, then the general data is not deleted either. The deletion block takes precedence over the deletion flag.
    General master data in Financial Accounting can also be used in other SAP applications:
    •     Customer master data in Sales and Distribution
    •     Vendor master data in Purchasing
    •     G/L accounts as primary cost elements in Cost Accounting
    The program deletes the following:
    •     Change documents for master data
    •     SAPscript text files
    •     The following data is deleted for customers:
    o     General master data
    o     Bank details
    o     VAT registration numbers
    o     Addresses
    o     Classifications
    o     Credit management: across control areas
    o     Credit management: centrally
    o     Unloading points
    o     Tax indicators
    o     Contact persons
    o     Licenses
    o     Partner function limit
    o     Shipping data
    o     Master data in the company code
    o     Dunning data
    o     Linked data
    •     The following data is deleted for vendors:
    o     General master data
    o     Bank details
    o     Contact persons
    o     VAT registration numbers
    o     Addresses
    o     Classifications
    o     Master data in the company code
    o     Dunning data
    o     Linked data
    •     The following data is deleted for G/L accounts:
    o     General master data in the chart of accounts
    o     Names in the chart of accounts
    o     Key word list in the chart of accounts
    o     Master data in the company code
    o     Sample accounts, if selected
    For customer and vendor contact persons, the addresses are not determined from central address management until the actual runtime. Therefore differences can arise as to the number of addresses in the detail log between the test run and the update run.
    Automatic worklists for customers and vendors are also deleted with the general master data. Matchcodes are always deleted.
    You may have to fix the number ranges after the program run.
    The system makes changes to the database in the update run only. It will then also write a system log entry for documentation.
    Requirements
    General master data can only be deleted if no other application makes reference to the account. Use the resetting programs from
    •     Sales and Distribution (customer master data)
    •     Purchasing (vendor master data)
    •     Cost Accounting (G/L account master data)
    If you want to delete only general master data, master data dependent on company code cannot have been created in Financial Accounting.
    If you want to delete master data in a test company code, master data dependent on company code cannot have been created in any other company code except the test company code. The productive indicator cannot be set for the company code.
    If a customer or vendor is referenced by another customer or vendor (for example, via fiscal address or alternative payee), you can only delete the referenced master record by deleting the referencing master record at the same time.
    Furthermore, you can only delete master data in Financial Accounting if no transactions have been posted to the corresponding accounts. If there are transaction figures in one of the selected accounts, you have to manually access and run program SAPF020 (reset transaction data from a company code) before you can delete that account.
    Output
    The log lists every table which is processed in the program selection.
    You can also create a detail log for each account type to find out why certain data cannot be deleted. The detail logs show you what other company codes and applications use the data and how customers and vendors are linked to one another.
    Note
    Since deleting or displaying even smaller volumes of data can result in runtime problems, you should run this program as a background job. Currently, the program individually deletes matchcodes for each master record in the database. Several match code IDs refer to each matchcode. This can place a considerable load on the database.
    You cannot delete transaction data in individual accounts.
    Important: The archiving programs in Financial Accounting are designed for the productive system.
    If you are running this deletion program for the first time, then you must start program SAPF047 before deletion in order to generate link information.

    My Client is doing sale in POS for credit customers and credit customer master should be sent to POS as outbound Idoc.
    1.What is the standard message type for sending Customer masters to POS. WP_PER01 is not activated for  version 700 ( message  getting on WE60 ).  Plse let us know is there any another message type for customer master.
    2. Also i need to send the credit limit of the customer  to POS . Is this possible by standard message type or we need to go for ZIdoc?.
    3.Is there standard Outbound Idoc ( Message type ) available to send the Pending invoice list toPOS?

  • Customer Master Replication from R3 to CRM

    Hi Experts,
    I am going to replicate Customer master from R3 to CRM system.As we all know ECC or R/3 and CRM customer master data is based on two different data models. So in order to avoid the Errors I would like below clarifications cleared.
    1- I would like to have customers to have all partner function assignments (Sold-to, Ship-to, Bill-to and payer as in R3 ) to be replicated in CRM. How can I achieve this?
    2- As it said R3 Account Groups are mapped to Customer Clasification(i.e Customer,Prospect,Competitior,Consumer-Person,Consumer-Organization). How can I map Sold-to Party, Bill-to Party, Ship-to Party and Payer BP Roles to the classification Customer?
    During the test replication all the customers from R3 got replicated as Sold to party ion CRM in my last attempt.
    I request you to provide me the Mapping concept and as well as the solution to have this replication achieved successfully.Any Document with screen shot would be a great help.

    I also facing same problem. All are my sold to party, ship to party, bill to party and payer are replicated to CRM as sold to party (CRM000) BP role only.

  • Classification - Customer Master

    To All,
    A customer encountered a system problem a few weeks ago when creating customer master records.  The users didn't report the problem and all the logs and short dump records are no longer available so its really not possible to determine what event in the system actually occurred.
    According to the end users they saw a "System Error" message but were able to create and save customer master records so assumed the records were fine.
    However a result of this event in the system has caused inconsistent data in the classification tables.
    Example a customer is not assigned to class yet has the characteristics populated in the AUSP table.  When you view the customer via XD03 the class is not assigned.
    Question is has anyone ever experienced these types of data discrepancies an if so what is the best approach to clean up the erroneous data.
    3 Customers were incorrectly assigned classification data (actually from a different customer master record) and they also were created out of sequence. 
    Buffering of customer numbers is set to 5.
    Any comments appreciated on why this may occur.

    I have idea about the use of these Tax Categories and Tax Classifications..
    But I just wanted to know why they are four??
    and if my material is liable for Tax and Customer is also liable to pay Tax OR even in any permutation what to maintain in these Classification...
    shall I maintain "1" for every Tax Category OR only one is enough OR it has some specific maintanence required???
    Which one will be considered out of FOUR while determining Tax Code??

    Well the requirement seems very simple but its not as simple as it looks.
    i have an idea not sure whether it gonna work or not. you need to build a history cube as if i understand your requirement then for any selected period you wanna see the change in wage type or pay rate for each employee if any.
    1. pick up an cube that builds on emp transaction data.
    2. add the 0empoyee Md, wage type and pay rate from MD to the cube and fill the cube
    3.so now every day or in scheduled time interval the MD will load and the corresponding the TD will be loaded to the cube.
    4. create a info object say indicator and add it to the cube
    5.while loading the data to the cube everyday in tranformation check if for same employee there is a change or not in the wage type and pay rate. If so set the indicator to 1.
    4.now build one more cube for holding the changed records from this cube and call it say zhrchange
    5. now pull the date, year and related emplyee information for the emplyee to the zhrchange for those with indicator 1.
    6. before the next load happen, rememrbe to set the indicator to 0 before checking the conditoin in the transformation routine , so that only if the conditoin satisfy then only it will be 1 else it will be 0.
    now the cube zhrchange has all the changed records with time stamp and you can base your query on that to get the changed values in specific time period

        I want to write a report for customer master, If a new customer is created or if customer is changed the report should get the customer and download it to a flat file.
    There is no proper spec they want customer based on acount group,Here how i can find the customer is  newly created or changed. Change pointer is active.
    in table CDHDR if customer is created the date and object id is there but changed the changed date is not in table kna1.
    Please help me regarding the logic.

      This table stores all the changes made in database level.

  • Add Right Side Column and Web Parts to custom Master page in SharePoint Online

    Hello everyone, 
    I hope this is a simple question, however I was fighting the issue it presents for a while. I am in the process of customizing SharePoint Online Look-and-feel with a new layout.
    The site collection was created as a
    Team Site before I got involved with the project, and populated with numerous sub-sites and pages. I activated required
    publishing features, created html with corresponding styles and graphics, and used the Design Manager to convert the html file to the custom Master page. While SharePoint automatically assigned “ContentPlaceHolderMain” div area, I
    also used default Oslo page as example to copy sections of the code for dynamic components (left column and navigation, recent items, the ribbon, etc.) from it and placed them in my new master page, pointed all CSS references to
    my custom style sheets, etc. Everything works great, however I need to make one last addition -
    my task is to make changes to display web parts such as Calendar and Recent Documents in the right column in the Master page.
    My custom layout has a header, footer, main pan and two side columns. Most of the default master templates come with the LEFT column already embedded and populated with several placeholder
    to serve dynamic content (PlaceHolderLeftNavBarTop, PlaceHolderQuickLaunchTop, PlaceHolderLeftNavBarDataSource, PlaceHolderLeftActions, so on).
    My challenge is that I have the RIGHT side column as well, for which I don’t think the default placeholder exists. I need to add a small Calendar box and Recent Documents parts to it, so they
    display across the entire site governed by this master page.
    The issue is –
    even after activating Publishing features (enabled SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure under Site Collection Level, and SharePoint Server Publishing under the Site
    Level), there is no Snippet feature (usually available under the generic Publishing Site); this customization of the Team Site allows using Designer and apply custom templates, themes, so on, just like you would under the Publishing collection, but not the
    Snippet utility I could use as the solution to embed the web parts on the master page.
    Recreating the entire site under Publishing Collection is not an option due to the directions I was given, I am to use this existing one, and need to see if
    there is a workaround to either activate the Snippet feature or use another solution to display the web parts inside of the column in the Master page.
    If the only solution is to use Web Part Zone, what are the steps to add it AND populate it with the abovementioned apps?
    Can anyone suggest how to create a workaround and add this feature? The environment is role-based so both elements need to be dynamically rendered based on the user’s role and activities.
    I am more of a front end designer than developer, so if any custom coding and set up required, please kindly provide some basic steps, if possible?..

    Updating your Master Page to also include a right rail should be sraight forward enough with a new div or divs in your master page and then the proper styles to make room for this column as well as position the column.
    I have not seen why you cannot find the snippet gallery link when previewing a HTML Master Page in the browser. Have you tried loading the snippet gallery by its url? As an example, for my tenant on SPO, I can load the Snippet Gallery for the olso.master
    with the following url:
    https://pixelmill.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/ComponentConfigureControls.aspx?ComponentName=TopNavigationNoFlyoutWithStartNode&Url=%2F_catalogs%2Fmasterpage%2Foslo.master
    Change the domain to match yours as well as update the "Url" querystring var to point to your master page. See if that loads the snippet gallery.

  • Account Group and partner functions in customer master records

    Hi Gurus,
    I need your help to confirm the following understand if correct:
    1. To create customer master record for partner function Ship-To, need to create a customer master record using the uniquely assigned account group for Ship-To , that is, 0002 . In this ship-to master record, define in its partner function tab, the other partner functions related to it. 
    2. To create the above, it cannot be achieved by just assigning the partner functions in the partner function tab of SOLD-To customer master record , created using account group 0001.
    Question:
    1. How does the system know or allow what codes a user can select (f4) or enter manually when defining in customer master record's partner function tab, the partner functions and their respective codes?
    How is this controlled? Is it by user authorization? or will user / sales administrator be able to select any codes tied to a partner function?
    2. Lets say there are 2 partner functions : Sales employee VE and 9E called Sales Representative. Both of these partner functions are of Partner Type PE.
    When defining in customer master record's partner function tab, how does the system know what codes is selectable for the administrator for each of these partner functions?

    this is to inform you that,
    1. yes you are right.
    2. you need to follow the steps as you said.
    Question:
    1. that you can find in the search basing on account group for partners.  that assignment we should know russo which SH to be assigned to which SP.  no need to have authorization for that, make a note of the list of SH and SP to be assigned that's all.
    yes, he will able to select any SH from the list but make sure that we assign the correct SH to the list of SP.
    2. that you will be defining it in Partner Determination Procedures.  at the time of CMR creation you have to select the correct code that will get populated in sales order.

  • Automatic creation of Company Code and Sales Area Data for Customer Master

    Hi,
    We have a organisation structure setup with multiple company codes and sales areas.
    A customer will be created using VD01 via the Sales Order VA01. Because the customers are created using VD01 we need to automatically extend the customer for the various company codes and sales areas. The data on these views will be populated using reference customers.
    Any recommendations on the best approach (technically) to auto extend the customer master would be appreciated.
    I'm reluctant to use BDC's because of performance. We are in a Retail environment.

    The sample code has been taken from the SAP notes - in which have the affected as outlined in the example.
    The codes does not do what my requirements are, which is to identify the next available number in isolation of the BP type.
