SOAP: addparameter - Fields and Tags in generated document

Hi all,
I am trying to call a webservice using the soapincl.
everything works fine until I need to send a structure:
I defined a structure: targetid with one field x.
GET REFERENCE OF targetid INTO dref.
  CALL METHOD osoap->add_parameter             " -- Specify Parameter
    EXPORTING
      direction = csoapconstants=>ic_param_in
      name = 'targetID'
      value = dref.
The result is:
<targetID>
<X>0</X>
</targetID>
My problem: The Webservices refuses the uppercase Tag X, it demands a lower case <x> and I have no idea how to set it and no chance to modify the webservice.
Desperately seeking help ....

Unfortunately I can not test against a public webservice and follow the examples in the tutorials, since BI Publisher does not seem to offer any proxy configuration to connect to the internet.
My local webservice returns the following data, visible when viewing the report from the backend, when no template has been defined yet:

After defining the template, the values of the first group are visible in MS-Word as well, as example values.

    Criteria 2 : GSBER (Business Area)
    Criteria : VBUND (Trading Partner)
    I had to set up the above criteria.

  • Generate document as single object ?

    Hi All,
    We have an .net application(Visual studio 2003)  and we do generate documents using Crystal reports 10 and we  apply security on the documents using third party tool,Now we have a requirement from the client,they want to the see the documents as single image,like when we do scan a document and try to select some content on it,it will select whole document.Do we have feature in CR10 to meet this requirement or any suggestions to achieve this?

    Here is my description with example.
    We designed a document using CR10 contain items,
    Header --- logo (image),Header Text and Address
    Details --Some Text  and database fields stuff
    Footer --Seal (Image) ,Signature image.
    We export to pdf and save the file object  in database.
    When retrieving the document we use third party tool it takes the file object and Secure it (disabling copy,..security features)
    before displaying.
    So when the user see the document,he can able to select each object like logo,seal ...separately.Of course he cannot copy now,but the client wants not to select each items,like if anything they  try to select,whole document to be selected not each item.

    Hello,
    Is there any restriction on the number of colums(fields) to be displayed in the screen of table maintenance?
    Actually, I am having a Ztable with some 100 fields and when I generate the table maintenance using Single Screen, it give me error for dynpro creation. But it works with 68 or less fields.
    Can anyone help me out in this?

    Can someone tell me how I can see my content (artwork and text) after I import  it into LiveCycle Designer ES4?  I like to import and make the content of the original PDF document editable; preserves the pdf appearance and retains existing fields and formatting, then allow me to do the modifications and save it back into the original PDF document with changes. I have tried everything but still cannot see my content(artwork and Text) of my original PDF after importing it into LiveCycle. All I see are is a blank page with the formatting and layout of where my artwork and text should be. I like to see everything if possible so after I make my change I will know how it will look when I save it back into the PDF and open it in Acrobat Reader.

    When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

    While processing an invoice in one company code for vendor# XXX with the PO# AAAA line# 10, it is showing below error message while posting. Please advise on the below error or fix the issue to post the invoice in to SAP. The using screen T-code is miro.
    Inconsistency between a document field and the prof. segment number
    *Message no. KE396
    *Diagnosis
    A line item was assigned to a profitability segment (number 0008629207) which has the value 0000101000 for characteristic Profit Center. The original document (FI document, sales order, internal order, etc.), however, contains 0000102020 in this field. It is therefore inconsistent with the profitability segment found.
    System response
    The characteristics in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) must have the same characteristic values as the original document. For example, you cannot assign a sales order to a different customer or product than the one contained in the original sales order. If you wish to fill the characteristics with different contents, you must change the original fields.
    Procedure
    Enter the correct characteristic values on the CO-PA assignment screen. The system will automatically assign a corresponding profitability segment number. If it is not possible to enter values in some of these fields, delete the entire assignment to a profitability segment number and then enter it again.
    As a rule, you should first enter the fields in the original sender document and then make the assignment to a profitability segment.

    I'm getting system generated value for a field and incrementing (i.e done by coding) when i'm saving the screen or transaction (which is created using module pool programming) while modifying, saving its working fine, but when i'm going out of the screen or exit n again i start the screen (with some ztransco) the value for the field again starting from 0 so i want to start from the same value for a field where we exit or got out from the screen n incremented respectively while saving the screen,

    I'm just starting to play with relationship fields and I'm working through the RosterApp example <http://java.sun.com/j2ee/tutorial/1_3-fcs/doc/CMP3.html> trying to apply it to my application.
    It says I should define relationship fields like this:
    public abstract Collection getTeams();
    public abstract void setTeams(Collection teams);But my related table is indexed by an automatically generated primary key which I think we treat as an Object, don't we?
    So, should my relationship fields be:
    public abstract ProductType getProductType();
    public abstract void setProductType(Object ProductType);& if so, what protects me, besides my own skill and intelligence, from trying to setProductType with a String, for example, when what's actually being used for that key is an Integer.
    I mean, I guess we'll always setProductType with the results of a finder method or something so maybe I'm pondering about nothing. My question really is, is that the correct way to define a relationship field where the key is automatically generated.
    Also, Annie, are you paid by Sun to always be around answering these questions?

    The key field must be declared to be of type java.lang.Integer in the abstract `get' and `set' methods of the bean. -- That's what I know for WebLogic. I am not sure about what other app servers do about this.

    it is not mandatory to have doc number or date fields for delta,
    u must have other fields which could change and try to find those fields and try, chk with the business for their delta requirement else go with full load.

    PS: forgot to mention: if your printer is on your wifi network, you'll have to enter your wifi password on the printer to connect it to the network before Printers & Scanners will see it.
    Sometimes a reset of the wifi system is needed too. A full set of directions would be:
    Try:
    uninstall all printer manufacturer apps and "utilities"
    go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
    control-click on your printer in the column on the left
    select "Reset Printing System..." and "reset" in the dialog that follows
    do a factory reset on your printer. You'll have to consult the printer manual for how.
    power down everything: modem, router, computer, and printer
    power up each item in turn in the same order: modem, router, computer, and printer. Let each power up completely before moving on to the next
    enter your wifi password in your printer so it can connect to the network
    go back to printers & scanners and it should see your printer and download a driver for it from Apple
    resist the temptation to install any printer manufacturer apps in the future.

    I am looking to use Echosign for insurance application forms. So, I need to see if I can have dependent fields. So, if a tick box is answered "Yes" then another field is required to have an answer also.
    Is this possible?
    Also, for someone completing two sets of medical questions, on one form - can I assign fields to each person in the same way I can with the signature?

    Yes, you can have conditions to produce a inter-related form fields. You can refer to this link for creating forms:

  • How to populate invoice reference field (bseg-rebzg) in accounting document

    I am working on a scenario in which first a billing document and its corresponding accounting document (say A) is generated.
    Then if there ia any correction, we create a credit memo request. From this credit memo request we create a credit note.
    After saving this credit note another accounting document (say B) is created. This new accounting document has "Invoice ref." field blank (BSEG-REBZG). However, I want to display first accouting document's number (i.e. A) in "Invoice ref." field.
    I tried to change the reference number field in user exits (called during credit note creation) but it didn't help and accounting document didn't get created.
    Can anyone please suggest how this can be done?

    Hi,
    I really doubt that the number of invoice document get stored here. This is only filling up with "V" in our system for the credit memo accounting document referencing to an invoice document created with reference to billing document.
    Please read the help on this filed.
    In the standard system the field is used for:
    Credit memos which refer to a particular invoice item
    Subsequent invoices for an invoice item
    Partial payments for an invoice item
    Partial clearings of down payments.
    In the first two cases mentioned, the terms of payment are copied from the cross-referenced invoice item into the item currently being processed. This ensures that items due on the same date are paid together by automatic payment.
    A special rule applies to credit memos which have a "V" in this field. The due date is determined in the same way as for an invoice. If the field is empty (containing neither a document number nor a "V") the due date is the baseline date for payment.

    I have a simple table:
    CONTENT_ID - NUMBER
    CONTENT - VARCHAR2(4000)
    On top of this table I have a form that allows the user to enter / update data. The 'CONTENT' field is a Rich Text Editor (ApEx 4.0 - CKEditor 3). This allows the user to enter and format their text as they require.
    I need to be able to select this data and display it in a PDF Document (via BI Publisher).
    I therefore have a simple query
    select content from content_table where content_id = 1;and a simple template that processes the resulting xml:

    <ROWSET>
       <ROW>
          <CONTENT>& lt;h2& gt;
         This is a heading& lt;/h2& gt;

    </ROWSET>(There is not really a space between the & and 'lt' etc but I had to add this to get it to display correctly here).
    Where I run this past my template I get a PDF with:

    This is the text</p>I get the same if I generate HTML.
    but what I want to see is the text formatted as the user has entered in the RTF editor.
    Can this be done?

    I think your mixing 2 technologies.
    At 1 side you have xml in combination with xsl (style sheets used in BI Publisher and FOP) to generate your pdf. And at the other side you have HTML...
    XML and HTML are 2 entirely different technologies which you can not mix this simple. I investigated the same problem as you had, and in the end I ended up using jasperreports instead of FOP.
    Maybe BI Publisher has some html regions which you could insert into your word document but I doubt it cause more people have asked the same question on this board...
    So my advice: use jasperreports (also it is free for commercial usage)
