Software Component for customizing of Biller Direct or Internet Sales Shop

Hello,
We want to modify the Standard Biller Direct/ B2C Shop application and as far as I know the best way to handle customer modification is by an own Software Compoent. This Software Component (SC) should partially overwrite the "Standard" SC.
Has anyone a Idea how this works? I already tried to create my own Software Component, but I do not know what I have to consider to get the "overwrite" behaviour. My questions are
1. Which dependencies I have to set for my customer Software component
2. What I have to add to the track - only my customer SC?
3. What I have to change in the build process, so that my customer SC overwrites the standard files automaticly and finally ends in an *.ear file?

We are trying to install a central instance of the E-Commerce 5.0 for R/3 solution on a 32-bit Windows 2003 server, running on top of SQL 2005 32-bit Standard Edition. The Netweaver 7.0 Kit has an installation for IA-64 and X-64 but does not appear to have a 32-bit installation. Did you install the E-Commerce 5.0 component on a 32-bit Windows server? If so, on what DVD did you find the 32-bit Netweaver components for a centralized E-Commerce 5.0 installation?
Can you also provide me with a link to the installation guide that explains what to install and how to install to a 32-bit Windows machine?

SAP EU software component for Web Dynpro SP9

Hi all,
I've followed the tutorial on how to create a Web Dynpro Callable object and couldn't go further because I couldn't find the libraries needed in the Local DC (caf/eu/gp/api/wd) api's.
I've found the Blog from Andre Truong on how to retrieve this API's in your Local Development Component projects (SP7).

Unfortunally this is only working for SP7 (And maybe SP8) but not for SP9.
In the blog Andre mentioned that this problem might be resolved with SP9 because the API's come as default with the IDE.
This appears not to be the case for me.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
PS I also read the following thread and the reply from Tomas Kuba but that seems to be a difficult and dirty way to do it?

Ok, seems to work just fine for SP 9 also.
Only the folders eu and gp don't excists. Just create them and extract the zip files.

I need modify the fontend of Biller direct, maily change JSP and CSS etc. no java and ERP will be touched, just the feel and look.
I am looking for some documentation which I can refer to, I have modification guide, and except that, do you know any other good document?

I dont think we have any other document .
You need to make changes in respective jsp and the css files and do trial and error method.

I know the files available in com.sap.security.core.admin, but..how can we deploy from one machine to another..what file we have to deploy.

Hi,
I think it is par file. Once you done with your change in the JSP file, rebuid it and then the builed par file can be deployed
in System admin ->support
click portal runtime.
In the tools
click on Administration console and upload your par file
Note that the par file should with the same name.

Customer Self Service via SAP Internet Sales

This is my first time posting on the SDN, so please forgive my ignorance if this is in the wrong place. We at Bentley have taken on the massive task of implementing a customer self service solution replacing our Siebel installation. We are still mapping out how things will work and how it will be architected, but wanted to know if anyone in the community has any white papers on how the security architecture is supposed to look. Here is our challenges:
1. Utilizing multiple info sources including BW (for reporting), CRM (for customer information and sales placement), R/3 (for invoice queries), and many .NET applications.
2. Supporting over 300k contacts each with a desire to maintain their own user base.
3. Currently utilizing the portal.
Again, we are trying to integrate all above to provide a solid solution for our customers. SAP Internet Sales looks like a viable option, but that obviously would require a user master record in each SAP system (300k in each?) to support the hierarchy above for reporting, queries, and data entry.
Has anyone else in the community successfully implemented a similiar solution, and if so.. Would you be willing to share some ideas with us?

Looking at your profile, I assume you may be able to help. I have Portal connected to my ECC system. We have loaded the latest UCES on the portal and configured XCM. Restarted the J2EE system. Everything seems to be ok, as I can do the connection tests from Portal (JCO) and ECC (RFC).
When i launch the page - http://portal.com:50000/bdisu - i get the following error -
A general problem has occurred within the logon. The error message is: .
I dont know how to fix it. I created a message with SAP and they said some config need to be done on the backend, while the functional guys are not aware of any. Can you please guide me to fix this error?

How to create new SW component for custome development?

We are looking to develop custom webdynpros and need to create our own SW components.
I've tried to define them in the SLD that the NWDI is connected to and when creating the tracks for the custom development, I do not see our new defined SW when trying to add the SW component to the track.
Any ideas? Are we going about this the wrong direction?

Once you add component in SLD if you want to add that component to your track ,there will be a button Update CMS in domain data or track data .click that and it will refresh and fetch your newly created component.then go ahead and add component to your track

I am new to CRM 2007 CRM web client programming.
I have a custom SAP GUI transaction in CRM and user wants to convert it into ICWEB transaction.
its using all custom tables and in all screens,
Please guide me how do I proceed in creating the component,display fields on the view....
I mean how to create the fields in the View, Do I need to write BSP code or Wizard helps me to generate and configure the fields on the view.
Please also let me know procedures create context notes which replicate the database tables which the data is saving or updating.
I am not clear cut info to proceed,

It has setting reference with GUID with Method="Count" means this is existential rule referenced to setting blah blah... (If method="Value" means that it has value rule defined) and for existential rule,
XML has "NotEquals" operator and value is "0" which means that if file not equals to zero means file exist (compliant).

How to use commons Software Component for both WebBrowser & NWDS based VC

Hi,
When I use Visual Composer thru the WebBrowser it shows me a set of Shared & Local repository of Sofwtware components.
But when I open Visual Composer using teh NWDS, it shows something new.
Is there any option to use a common repository/development folder between both the GUI's?

the way to work with VC@Browser and VC@NWDS is via NWDI/DTR.
You may find in the link below the way to configure VC@Browser to the NWDI/DTR. I understand from you post that your NWDS is already connected to DTR.

It refers to an RFC exception during a Jco Connection and says that the customizing of biller direct is incomplete but I'm not able to understand where do I have to setup this rfc connection..

Proxy error- unable to find software component version for namespace-

Hi all,
I need help regarding proxy.
I am using SAP standard package for one integration PI 7.0 to SRM.
Here we need to use the datatype enhancement for adding some fields. So I create one extension_datatype in the datatype enhancement and add the fields .
( I am using Inbount interface, where I am adding the new fields in PI)
Now when I go to SRM system and Run SPROXY system to regenerate the Proxy. So that It can reload the New fields.
Then it reloads and We activate the same.
Now at one place when I clicked the data type enhancement object its giving the error that unable to find software component version for namespace" . I did not understand why its giving the error. I added the new fields in the existing running datatype enhancement. and reload the reproxy.
I have one more datatype enhancement object in the same software component and in the same name space but its not giving the error.
Please help , how to resolve it asap.

1.the datatype enhancement object may not be activated in the same software component .
for this try these -
after creating your data types and designing part. First close all the developement objects windows.
then click on your sw component which you have created and activate it very first.
then you will be able to activate all other objects
or when you start activating your data types a new window with list of the objects which you want to activate opens
in this new window you can see your sw component as the very last object select it first and activate it
2. update the cache in both system
i think these 2 reasons.u try it.

Payment of bills advised by SAP Biller Direct

I got the following problem:
We cannot pay (in fact balance) the bill advised by a "customer" on the SAP Biller Direct portal.
We use the transaction F110 for automatic payment transactions. The proposal run gives the following result:
Bank details are being checked
    Customer/vendor bank details are being read
Country US / Bank number 123456780 / Account 12345678 ...
Country US / Bank number 123456780 / Account 87654321 ...
     Customer/vendor bank details are being checked
Bank details 123456780 87654321 have bank type E001; bank type E000 is specified
   System reads house banks and checks if they are allowed
Our bank BANK is being checked
For currency USD and 005 days            0,00 are planned
Available amount too small,            0,00 USD still available,        5.880,00 necessary
   House bank is selected ...
No permitted payment method exists
We already checked and configured all possible configuration. We also did the customizing in FBZP.
When I want to add the payment method (in our case '0' for Biller Direct bank payments) to the customer in XD02, the system says:
"in company code "xxx" '0' is an FSCM-BD payment method and cannot be used.
Detail: In company code "xxx" '0' is indicated as payment method for the FSCM Biller Direct component. This payment method identifies items that were paid via Biller Direct on the Internet. Therefore, the payment method cannot be used in any other way.
Any idea how to resolve this?

The solution for this problem:
in FBZP: Add for your house bank in 'Available Amounts' a value in Scheduled incoming payments. After this the payment run finished successfully.

Is there any technology can assemble several software component ?

My lab are doing a project involving designing some software component for specific functions,such as A component deals with sell products ,B component deals with
buy products,and so on.All these are parts of an application about E-business.
Our project is to sell these components separately.
customer can choose what they want,and assemble these components(may be buy from different software company)to DIY their own software.
My question is Is There any technology and framework to do this job?Can anybody help me ,or tell me where can I find some related material about this topic?

How to Create a New Software Component

Dear All,
I am trying to prepare a list of steps to develop add-on products over SAP ECC 6.0. I was just wondering how to create a Software component for my namespace development, which I would like to assign my development package to.
Any ideas or guidance is highly appreciated.

I think I am just facing the same issue right now. Like you we do not want to do XI/PI development. We registered namespace and starting on developing a product based on ECC, which should be on a seperate namespace. We have read of AddOn Assembly Kit, but we don't have it for th emoment. We might have it at a later stage.
Still we would like to create an own Product and SC for shipment purposes. We created Product and SC in SLD but we are not able to select it in the SE80 dialogues of creating development objects. We haven't found away or documentation on how to sychnronize the SCs from SLD to ABAP system.
Is it possible to create SCs in the systme directly which will then show up for development objects?
Is it mandatory to have the Assembly Kit? (costs good money)
Is it possible to do all that in a later stage? (we saw it's possible to reassign SC for dev ojects)
I know it's been quite some time, I would still highly appreciate a feedback as SAP docu is very limited.

Software Component in Integration Design

Hello,
I have just imported a software component for our IS-U system. Then I have created a namespace as well as a message interface. But when I try to locate this software component in the transaction "sproxy", I can't see it. The CPA cache causes sometimes trouble, but at the moment it has a steady state. It is also possible to add dummy namespaces to existing software component, these are displayed correctly.
Maybe this is a conceptual problem? Is it not allowed to create a proxy from an is-u software component on a netweaver system?

thank you very much for your answer. I have activated all the changes in the int rep and I also checked my connection like you have suggested and still I can't generate the proxies for my new software component. Maybe this is really a conceptual problem, maybe it is not allowed to generate a proxy on a netweaver 04 system, that has not a IS-U.

Customer Self Billing - Internal Invoice

I am trying to configure customer self billing but I am struggling with the concept of the 'Internal Initial Invoice'.
Perhaps I'm making too much of this, but I am kind of missing the point of self-billing if we have already created an invoice that we simply do not send to the customer. In essence, all this is, then, is an automatic complaint handling system!
The help text says to use F2, but this is the standard invoice, so although we can surpress the printing/transmission, we cannot stop the posting to A/R.
Is anybody else using this functionality?

If you are configuring customer self billing,then "Internal Invoice" is something that happens in the vendor system. Hence not relevant for customer self billing configuration.

It is not exactly automatic complaint handling system,but automatic billing system.
If the Customer and Vendor systems have been configured correctly and there are no EDI errors,all one needs to do is monitor the system using VSB1 transaction code.
