SolMan 4.0 CHaRM / CRMD_ORDER: Authorize Change Request by CALL TRANSACTION

After creating a Change Request I need to execute the <b>action "Authorize"</b> by some kind of CALL TRANSACTION but until now I have not found a solution for this. There are a few forum questions similar to this one but all I've seen are still not answered.
The problem is caused by the <b>Toolbar Control</b> in screen "Edit: Normal Correction nnn": the dropdown and select actions are not recorded by the Batch Input Recorder and are not executed, the following function code "SAVE" therefore does not work as needed (thus creating the CRM service process and Task List).
To find out what the <b>event handling</b> really does in order to make SAVE work is handicapted by this: I have not been successful in debugging the execution of the event handler.
Before I start to search for more details (which might turn out as a very time consuming advanture) I would like to ask for some help of you. If you have any idea on how to solve the problem, sharing your expertise would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • ChaRM: Customizing of Change Request (IBase/Component)

    Hi!
By creation of Change Request the value "IBase / Component" should be filled.
The default values here are: "0" and "0".
Has some one already customizng experience here?
I would like to change the value to e.g. "1" and "314" (my productive IBase).
    Thank you very much!

    Hi Holger,
I am not sure about CHARM.
But since CHARM is also based on Service Desk functionality, may be the transaction IB52 can help you.
Executing IB52 transaction, will take u to a screen from where u can select your Installed Base using value help. In most of the cases, there will be only one option.
Just select that iBase, in the following screen, you will be able to see all the attributes of your installed base in the Text tab of the lower right part of the screen which is editable. Here you can make the required changes as you wish.
    Reward for helpful answers.

  • Is it possible to change user in call transaction ??

    Hi experts,
There is a custom RFC FM wich makes some call transacion (for example to ME21N) and is invoked from .NET. The user logged in that moment is 'USER1' but the client wants user 'USER2' to appear in standard tables (EKKO...) and in ME23N. It's not possible that the client loggs on with USER2 as he needs the password and we don't like to share it whith them.
    I found this:
    l_Fecha = sy-datum - 1.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BDC_OPEN_GROUP'
        EXPORTING
          client   = sy-mandt
          group    = 'maria'
          user     = 'USER2'
          keep     = space
          holddate = l_fecha.
    (code for the batch input)
      CALL TRANSACTION 'ME21N' USING i_bdcdata
                               MODE w_mode  UPDATE 'S'
                               MESSAGES INTO i_messtab.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BDC_CLOSE_GROUP'.
      SUBMIT rsbdcsub
      WITH bis = sy-datum
      WITH fehler = space
      WITH logall = space
      WITH mappe = 'maria'
      WITH von = sy-datum
      WITH z_verarb = 'X'
      EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
      AND RETURN.
But when the PO is created, the user is still USER1.
Is it possible to change the user at any moment ??
    Thanks in advance !!

    Marí

    Hi
You are using ME21n which is and  ENJOY transaction.
To update ENJOY Transactions use BAPIs instead of BDC.
because ENJOY transactions are built on control framework which use ActiveX controls (like Grid).
These new transactions should make life for the end user a bit easier, since SAP transactions not always accelerate in design, logic, etc. That's why SAP has introduced these new transactions which in the end, will have the same result. In these socalled 'Enjoy' transactions, SAP started using these 'new' enjoy sap controls like ALV grid, text editor, HTML viewer etc.
For 'updating' Enjoy transaction (BTW: You are NOT updating the transactions, but rather the purchase order or whatever) you will have to use BAPI's (or FM for that matter) in stead of BDC since Enjoy Controls work with a different framework in which you can not call a certain screen and field. Like in an ALV grid, not every field has it's own screen field name. So you cannot use them in BDC.
Hope this makes any sense for your question. As BDC is not reliable for your tcode.
    Thanks DP

  • Authorization check in BDC call transaction

    Hello gurus,
My requirement is MB1B t-code is not authorized for basis users but only for end user, but when I create a Z-program with a BDC call transaction MB1B it is allowing access.
How is this possible? My boss will ask me this question and I don't know the answer.

  • Screen no change in BDC call transaction method

    Hi experts
    Greetings!
I have a BDC created in call transaction method for t-code FB01.
Data passed successfully to the first screen but when it navigates to the second screen I am not able to pass any data.
After debugging I found that the issue was because of the DYNPRO value.
It was 8500 when I created this recording but now the screen number shows 350.
Is is possible that screen nos change because of any support stack or OSS notes implementation.
In run time i tried to change the value to 350 and it works fine..
    Thanks
    Jay

    Hi,
LSMW Direct input method is better for your quiry. Becasuse i wrote BDC for FB01 but not working properly.
So i used LSMW, helped me a lot. Progmra name is RFBIBL00. Or else i will export and send you if you want. It can handle multiple line items upto 950.
    Thanks,

  • Change Request Management--Create Transport Request from Service Desk

    Hi Experts,
What are the right steps to create a change request via service desk message and keep following the process until import to PRD.
    Regards.

    Hello Jorge,
You can create Change Request using two ways.
You can create a Change Request from a Service Desk Message using the action "Create Change Request" or you can create a Change Request directly in transaction CRMD_ORDER.
Please, check the links below where you can find more information about Charm.

  • TCode CHARM_CREATE for customized change request ZDCR?

    Hi,
Q1. is there a way to configure the ChaRM system for the CHARM_CREATE transaction to target  a customized ZDCR transaction type?
Q2. is there a way to copy the CHARM_CREATE transaction code to the customer namespace(Z*)  and  then alter it to target the customized ZDCR transaction type?
Grateful for any assist from ChaRM gurus on these questions ... I am getting much joy with successes in customizing ChaRM for our requirements. We have copied SDCR & other standard tranactions, status, texts etc. With customized ZDCR transaction type & new precesses, actions, conditions etc. we have got a customer specific process flow with e-mails that we are happy with.   (This is on SolMan 7.0 SP25).
I would like to have the "enjoySAP" type of fast transaction entry screen like CHARM_CREATE.
The CHARM_CREATE transaction brings up a popup which creates a change request that targets the  standard SDCR transaction type.  The fields given for fast entry are those from SDCR (Not my customized ZDCR) and at completion of the CHARM_CREATE transaction entry,  the change request is of transaction type SDCR.
At transaction DNO_CUST04, we have tried to edit the parameter with field name "CHANGE_REQUEST" sequence "1" and given new value "ZDCR". The CHARM_CREATE enjoySAP transaction still nevertheless targets the standard SDCR transaction type.
Have phished oceans of blog and rivers of SAP SSM webpages to no avail and I'm still clueless. Will give good points for a hint?
    tnx,
    Steve A

    Hello Mr. Amorsen,
Follow Charm_create step by step using customer name:
    1- Create a new transaction using t_code SE93 (E.g.: ZCHARM_CREATE )
    2 - Copy the program : CHANGE_REQUEST_CREATE_SOCM to Z using SE38
3 - In SE93, change the program to Z created in step before
    4 - In SE80 Copy the function group Change-request_socm to Z
5 - copy the function modules too (will appear a pop-up asking for this)
    6 - Change  the include ; LZCHANGE_REQUEST_SOCMTOP
         IN LINE 30 : gc_processtype(4) TYPE c
VALUE 'ZDCR',  "process type for change request
         Change value to ZDCR
    7 - Activate all
    8 - In SE38 report: ZCHANGE_REQUEST_CREATE_SOCM , change the call function SOCM_CHANGE_REQUEST_CREATE to Z
    9 - activate.
    Done !!!

  • Change Request SDCR- adding Actions

    Dear Colleagues,
In the change request transaction  I can see the ACtions "Authorize Change Request" & "Reject ECR".
So change manager can Authorize or reject from the actions.
If change manager require more information from requester, then chnage manager can do Reject ECR, but it will not allow you to use the same change request transaction.
So can we define one more action definition like"Provide more Details" & assign it to action profile SDCR.
How to define actions. Can anybody tell me.
    Regards
    Praveen K

    Hi PK,
You can define your own actions in the Scenario Specific Settings in SPRO for Change Request Management. I am not sure about the documentation which you can refer to, but the steps are as follows (in brief) :
    1. Determine the transaction type, the status profile and the action profile which you are using for your change request (If it has been customized for your client, ideally it is SDCR)
    2. Right now, you should be concerned about the action profile only. Copy the SAP standard action profile and create a new action profile. In it, you can define the new action whcih you need
    3. In the conditions tab, set the execution condition for the new action you have defined.
    4. In the transaction type, give this new action profile's name, so that these changes are reflected in the change request.
    I hope this helps you,
    Regards,
    Sneha Vyas.

  • Create Change Request (SDCR) with BSP?

    Dear Developers,
actually I'm searching for a BSP-application to create a change request (SDCR) from the SAP Enterprise Portal for Non-SAPGui-Users. Is there something from SAP that could be used in this case?
When not, which function modules are used to create a change request in the transaction CRMD_ORDER?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jens Sperk

    Hello Udo,
today i tried this function module out and as i feared.. it doesn't work
Can you give me some more tips or a contact to a solution manager developer who can give me some more instructions about tables und function modules that are neccessary for creating a change request from web (enterprise portal). It's very difficult to debug this terrible source code
I think that soon there will be a huge demand for web based change management. This should be part of a next patch (I hope so). It's very hard to convince a non-SAP Gui-User from this practice to handel change requests.
    Best regards,
    Jens

  • Census objects in Change Request

Using transaction SE03 and SE09 I can to view the CR but is not easily to collect the objects modified in the same CR.
Anyone knows a easily method to extract objects from CR?
    Thanks.

  • Migrating LSMW via change request Problem

We have been migrating any changes in our LSMW objects using the path Extras --> Create Change Request from the transaction code LSMW. This will be from DEV server to QA server. We have been doing this process for the past 5 months.
HOwever, 2 weeks ago, it suddenly didnt work. I compared the program generated by LSMW object between the Dev server and QA server and there are dfferences.
To test if this is not just a code change directly made on the QA server, I specifically run another test. I created a change request, immediately migrated it to QA and check if the code has been updated. The code in QA server was not migrated even though the transport log shows that it was successfully migrated.
Why is this so? We used to do this and it used to work. How come it suddenly stops working? Please help....

    Hi CIM,
maybe you are right with your assumption: code was changed in QA.
This might change attribute of this program to 'original' and normal transports no longer change such objects (to prevent unwanted changes in DEV).
But there is a special flag 'overwrite originals' (or something like that), which can be set during transportation.
    Try this out.
    But maybe it's something else...
    Regards,
    Christian

  • Omiting authorizations in a call transaction

    Hello,
is there any way to omit the authorizations to execute a call transaction?
I mean, for example i don´t have authorization to modify an infotype but throug a program i have to be able to modify it. With a call transaction authorizations are checked and i want to know if there is some way to execute the program without checking authorizations.
    Thanks

so why do you wanna cheat?
if you need an authorization, goto your authorization administrator and ask for it.
If you dont get it though, i hence there are good reasons.
