[Solved] Pacman error: pacman.confesting (download library error)

My system has not updated for a couple of days, for the last day it has been running successfuly but showing as up to date with no updates to install, which is unusual for 36hours as there's always something to update.
As of today I updated my mirrorlist to the lastest version and this is the output I get on trying to update, a quick google of these lines and searching on here gets me no results, any help on where to start looking would be appreciated.

The error appears no matter which update server I enable.

Uninstall and reinstall iTunes

1) "Care Pack" product registration page error 2) Driver download page error - links don't work

I cannot register my printer because the page has "Care Pack" product registration page has errors:

I fill in all the information and click the blue "Submit Query" button, and nothing happens except 3 silver "Submit Query" buttons appear below where it says, "Search results" "Select the product that you want to register." But there are no results! And why 3 buttons if no results?
Cookies and scripts are enabled. I did that and refreshed the page before I entered anything, so nothing is getting rejected.
It seems the website has a lot of problems...the download links on the driver page wouldn't work either, so I had to get them from a 3rd party. I am lucky to find a reliable site! (The driver was official and the printer finally installed correctly, which it couldn't even find if I let Windows search online!)

I have been subscribed to several podcasts that I found on itunes. Some days they download perfectly, and some days I get the error message: "error-61". How do I find out what this error means and fix the problem?

I have Adobe Illustrator CS5 Runtime C++ Library Error Message

When I open a large Ai file I get an error saying Runtime C++ Library error, how do I fix it? It works with small files but not my large one, this is the only program it has been doing it and just occurred recently within the last week. I have Windows 7 (PC obviously), I've tried uninstalling the programs and re-installing, deleting folders/files and restarting the program and still comes up when I try to open just one file, that's pretty big and don't know what else to do.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

Something is Causing ReaderX Update to C++ Runtime Library Error AdobeARM.exe

Anytime Adobe Reader tries to update, on login, periodically, or manually the error Visual C++ Runtime Library Error appears. I am using Adobe Reader 10.1.1. I have tried letting Adobe regenerate the Adobe.ARM.exe file located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM.exe. I am using Windows XP Professional SP3.
This started when after it ran an automatic update it started to defrag that took way too long so I forced shutdown that obviously corrupted some file somewhere which leads to this error. In a new Windows profile the error is not present but I am not willing just yet to move all of my files to a new user account because one third party application has a bug.

Since, you mentioned that the issue is not reproducible when you switch to another account, could you try one more thing.
1. Open Start > Run
2. Type "%temp%"
3. In the folder that appears, delete the following files: AdobeARM.log, AdobeARM_NotLocked.log, ARMUI.ini
4. Try initiating an update transaction again from within Reader by clicking on Help > Check For Updates

Try redownloading the app directly to the iPod by:

I wish I fully understood your post, but perhaps you should try re-downloading. Are you trying to download the 10.7.3 update? If so, then try downloading OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo).

ITunes stopped working,C++ library error, removed iTunes, now iTunes wont download

Have been using iTunes for years on laptop with windows vista (32 bit). recently started getting itunes errors such as C++ runtime library error and R6034 error. Itunes stopped working. Read the boards, I deleted itunes and other products from the trouble shooting directions (e.g., bonjour, mobile me etc), and tried to download itunes again. now itunes wont download (I have 20 MB/140MB available memory). stuck at this point - Itunes not on laptop, but cant download new itunes.....

Tried running the fixit program (1 time via internet explorer, 1 time via firefox), the firefox attempt downloaded the fixit program, but when trying to run it I get a pop up window that indicates that the troubleshooter is not available and that the fixit program is invalid or has expired and a new website is given for the new program (same happened with the internet exploere attempt- it directed me to the same window and to the same website)......the website is:

there are several buttons to choose from and reviewed them- I found the uninstall fix that you described in the windows button. I tried to download and run the fix from both internet explorer and firefox, however after downloading, when i run the program I eventually get the same window that says that the troubleshooter is not available......

Gnupgp, pacman-keyring -- keyserver receive failed: System error|why?

Hello, I followed the official instructions about gnugpg and the pacman keyring https://www.archlinux.org/news/gnupg-21 … n-keyring/
pacman -Syu haveged
systemctl start haveged
systemctl enable haveged
rm -fr /etc/pacman.d/gnupg
pacman-key --init
pacman-key --populate archlinux
which worked fine for the main repositories.
As I use the infinality-bundle repository I had to re-add the key for infinality but that led to that error:
# pacman-key -r 962DDE58
gpg: keyserver receive failed: System error w/o errno
==> ERROR: Remote key not fetched correctly from keyserver.
Meanwhile I know that changing the keyserver to the mit-keyserver prevents that error:
/etc/pacman.d/gnupg/gpg.conf

no-permission-warning
lock-never
keyserver hkp://pgp.mit.edu:11371
keyserver-options timeout=10

I've got some instances of same error from pacman which I think is abnormal when I tried to upgrade pacman-keyring via "pacman -Syu".

[Solved] Pacman -Su stuck at downloading required keys

With updating my system (with pacman -Syu), pacman seems stuck with the last operation "Checking keys in the keyring". What I see is:
(167/167) checking keys in keyring [####################################] 100%
downloading required keys...
After 20 minutes or so I killed the process and initialized the keyring from scratch, following the instructions on the wiki, hoping this would give some clues. Unfortunately, this problem still persists.
Any suggestions on what may be the problem, or how to fix it?

Thanks for that hint. The debug showed that it was fetching a key remotely, and then nothing. With that, I was able to find this similar thread on this forum. I followed the suggested procedure:

and it solved the stall. I think that the second instruction really helped, because I did rebuild the keychain multiple times today. Apparently something was cached in the .gnupg folder that might have interfered.
