Some Random Thoughts

Some of us have thousands of PSD files that will now only be able to open as long as we have Photoshop CC or if we have a CS version of Photoshop on our hard drive. I'm lucky I have CS6. I expect them to do the same thing Lightroom as they just did with Photoshop. Adobe says they won't but they said the same about the creative suites. I will however NOT be going to Lightroom 5 for this reason. When I find some time I'm going with Aperture. Good-bye Lightroom.

Why do my imported files or created titles always go to some random bin and not the one I want?

Everytime I import a file via right clicking > Import. It will always go to some random bin that I don't want it to. Each project it's a different bin. Even if I right click > import on the bin I want it to import into, the file will still go to some pre determined default folder. Usually one of my Footage folders a couple of layers down.
This same thing happens when created titles. I usually have to do a search to find the files. When I used CS2 and 3 I never had this problem.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to not have it go to a pre determined default bin? Or can I change that Bin?
Currently the only way I can get a file to go into the folder I want via importing is when I drag and drop it from my explorer window. I don't use the CS5 media browser because It doesn't have thumbnails.
Thoughts, solutions?

With this specific bin structure, if I import as you described the file imports to the Reception Bin. I tried the same proceedure with highlighting>righ clicking> and importing, files to all bin levels even to the root level not inside a bin and it still goes to the reception bin. So for what ever reason for this project I am working on now the Reception Bin has become the default bin.
This holds true for titles as well, they get created in the reception bin.
I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I presort my footage into folders then "import folder" into the footage bin. I thought it might have something to do with the last bin I created or imported became a default bin but in this scenario. The Receception bin is the second to last folder I imported/created.

After upgrading to 5.01, songs in my playlist no longer are in the same order as on itunes. I want to at least list them by the most played first not some random Apple order.

Not sure why this is happening and it is a pain. Once the Purchased list sorted by 'date added' go to the left most column and select the top - in my Purchased list the new items go to the bottom and I drag them back up to the top position.

How do I disable "up next" on itunes 11 (or at least make it play the next song in my playlist and not some random one)

ITunes 10 was great and I heard nothing but horror stories about 11 so I didn't upgrade until I got my new computer and pushed my music over. In fact, I accidentally hit update and disconnected my computer from the Internet to stop it from happening, but was too late and now I'm stuck with it.
When I play a song and the song ends, instead of playing the next song on the list, it plays some random other song. When I "clear list," iTunes doesn't play anything at all. What gives? What happened to the greatest media player? As a pro audio engineer, I've got over 150Gb of music and this just doesn't fly. I HAVE to have my music in order and if iTunes can't do that, what is its purpose?

iTunes 11 works fine on my computer... I think you need to check the "Shuffle" settings in all of your playlists, including the main library... It sounds like for whatever reason, iTunes is automatically shuffling your playlists...

Sounds like you got a store demo. Look in your settings and see if you see "Demo Mode/Demonstration Mode" or something similar.

Can't restore my iPhone 6 from iCloud cause of some random email.

ENglish is not my first language so there can be mistakes. So as you have seen from up I have an iPhone 6+ and I can't restore it because of some random email. I haven't ever seen this happening or that email so I really don't know what I'm doing anymore. :/ help me guys? I tried restart iPhone when it was "on the white screen" but it still gives only that random email. I have bought LEAGALLY it, I come from Finland where I bought it.

Should be legit means here that yep it is and if it isn't something is relly wrong . I bought my iPhone 6+ from Apple Authorize Store, Verkkokauppa in Helsinki, and it is really strange that there even can be some random email when you are restoring staff from your iCloud. But as I said it there ain't any problem anymore. Thanks for the help!

When I click the dropdown choice, an edit window used to let me tailor pixel widths, color, etc. (I know, [it's what] 'edit' means). Now, the little eyedropper icon replaces my cursor, all top menus are grey except 'View' and 'Window', I get that awful 'doont!' sound, and my only option is to just hit 'Enter' and it executes the command with whatever preferences I last set before this problem, usually of no present use to me. I have relaunched PS, restarted the computer with no other tasks and relaunched, and impotently shaken my fist at the screen to no avail. Please help me, and if you'd be so kind, just email me the answer 'proteus19m (at) yahoo (dot) com'. Thank you very much.

Try resetting your preferences. Start PS and hold down crtl alt shift keys (cmd option shirft on mac) immediately. If fast enough you will get a reset window.

Reinstall, new driver... still randomly happened.
HW accelaration is now set to off and it looks okay now.

Szóval... Ha kikapcsolom a HW-es gyorsítást, akkor a probléma megszűnik. Nincs gond a memóriával, nincs gond az APU-val sem. Minden szépen fut rajta, egyedül a böngészőben jelennek meg néha random vonalkák a fölső sorban, ahol a tabok vannak.
Most per pillanat ki van kapcsolva a HW-es gyorsítás a böngészőben és nincs grafikai hiba. Ha bekapcsolom, majd újraindítom a böngészőt, akkor a hiba azonnal előjön.

This might just seem to be mindless bureaucracy, and while that would be pretty neat, the real problem is that Adobe make dozens of different products, and nobody can be an expert on all of them. You need to go where the experts are.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Start with a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
Others have had difficulty with this issue. There are other things that you can try but you may well end up at the local Apple Store with the resident "Genius."
