The last time I logged in someone else's themes were in my
file. I hope they don't think I stole them!

Go to setting -> reset -> reset all content and setting. And to avoid this to happen again, after using your apple Id go to setting -> general -> restriction -> account and change from "allow changes" to "never allow changes". I even turn off itunes and app stores in restriction, i only turne them on when i need to download something and soon after finishing i turn them back off for safety.

Why does someone else's document show up in my Pages App?

Why does someone else's document appear in my Pages app? I did not create this document, and it is in another language. it is an essay on 101 Geography, then there is another document that is "Note Taking" and it also is in another language. Neither of these documents were created by me and my Ipad never leaves my hands. ??

Why is someone else's name showing on my iCloud account?

I'm having trouble with my iOS devices and my @me.com account. I don't know why for some reason my sister's name is showing in my iCloud.com email account and I recently bought an iPad mini and an iPhone 5 which were already set up with her name as well. I think the last 2 might have been because I bought them online and had the iPad delivered to my sister's address (I'm not in the country) with her name as the receiver and the iPhone was a store pick up that was also on her name and she signed when she picked it up at the store. Anyway I changed the name on my iPhone 5 and on the iPad to mine in settings but my iCloud.com account still shows her name and I don't understand why??? Help.

i am trying to update an 'app' in from my store on my IPOD touch, but one of my son's friends id keeps showing up and wants me to put in his password.
I want him OFF my IPOD and want my name to be the one is asks for. How do I fix this?

Hello,
If the app was purchased/downloaded with another Apple ID then it will prompt you for their password every time.
What you need to do is delete the app and go re-download it with your Apple ID.
It may get rid of the app data depending on what app it is and whether or not it allows you to save the data.

How would someone else's notes be shared on my iPad when they are not synced with my device?

I have a brand-new iPad and am suddenly getting someone else's notes showing up on my computer. It is coming from my daughter's phone, I believe. Our accounts and computers are in no way connected. The strange thing is that the notes are from 2011 and 2012. I don't know if she has more current ones than that.
Can anyone tell me how this might happen? And how to make it stop?

I called Apple Support and they also said that she has to have access to my iCloud account. We did figure out that some of the notes from 2011 and 2012 are from a shared business account which also allows notes, but that is a Verizon account and should not impact, in any way, shape, or form, the iCloud account.
I do not believe my daughter actually did this; I am guessing that her iCloud account was also accessed by her husband (who is not a good guy), and he, without her knowledge, synced her iCloud to his iPhone to track all her stuff. I then believe he got hold of mine and did the same a couple of days ago, as we are all together for a large family vacation (in the same house).
I guess I have a couple more questions about this, though:
Normally, when you sync a new device with your account, you get a message on all your old devices - but I did not get anything of the kind. How would this be possible? I guess maybe if he synced it while standing there with my iPad, then my iPad would get an alert, and he would just turn it off?? (I know all this sounds excessive, but believe me, he'd go to this length.)
I find it difficult to believe that he could have cracked my iCloud password - it's not something that anyone would ever put together easily. How would he be able to access the account without a password? Is there any kind of app or software that he could have installed on my iPad that would allow that? (Again, believe me, he'd do it.)
Is there any way to see in iCloud what devices are linked to the account? That alone would show me what device has this.
Finally, I have my iPad password-protected, so I cannot imagine he would have gotten into my iPad in the first place...how would he have gained access to this otherwise? I really thought I was being very smart on how I set this all up, and two days in the same location as him and now this....

Settings -> FaceTime, right?
My guess would be though, that the FaceTime history is stored locally on the device, so anyone using it will see the entire device history (I cannot imagine that FaceTime uploads the history to an Apple server anywhere - I'm sure it is just logged locally on the device - based on my iPhone and iPad show completely different histories, for example).

Someone else's photos (333 of them) showed up as mounted folder after crash

So iPhoto has been crashing a lot as I have been updating keywords using Keyword Assistant (I recently imported ~3500 pictures). When iPhoto re-opens after a crash, sometimes I lose some of the changes I recently made.
But to my big surprise, when it auto-reopened iPhoto after the most recent crash, I had 333 photos in a mounted folder (with an eject button) labeled "Joe Schmoe's Photos" dated 2006/09/29 to 2007/08/05. I do not know this person, do not recognize the photos, and I seem to have pictures dated through yesterday. I am not a .Mac subscriber, nor do I share my photos online through iPhoto, but it would seem that I have been granted access to Joe Schmoe's photos.
If I indeed have been accidentally granted access to someone else's photos, this is a huge security concern! I have a screen shot of this and will share it with an Apple developer/employee, but do not want to post it here because of privacy issues related to showing someone else's pictures to the world.
If anyone has any ideas of what else might be going on, I'm all ears.
Note the following:
-I was connected to the internet(wirelessly) at the time of the crash/re-open.
-These photos are not in my library, but seem to be a separate mounted folder.
-The name does not show up in searches of my computer nor in the finder/desktop as a mounted drive.
-There is no exposure info on any of the pictures
-When it crashed and reopened (again, just now), Nathan Bowen's photos are still there, but it seems to take time to load them (like they're downloading perhaps)

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

TV shows will only appear in the cloud if you are in a country where they can be re-downloaded from the store (you can't add them yourself), in which case they will appear in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for re-downloading. But they will only appear there if you are in a country where they can be re-downloaded, and then only as long as the TV company leaves them in the store (content providers occasionally remove their items).

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Hello, yes it is reproducing over and over. I look in the original artwork and there are 28. I did not save over the original art but “save as”. Worked on the new file for a while and now there are 47!. I copied all the content to a new blank, all colors removed, file and there they were. If I click on them can’t relink, won’t show a bounding box, no frame in wire-frame, no stray points. they are ghosts. Here is an image, to give a better visual of how they look in links panel. THis helps but I have a follow on... which is 2 parts. I have my own Apple ID but everytime I try to log into I tunes, their USER ID appears and I can't add my password since my USER ID does not show. How do I change that? Also, do they have access to my info now or only when I am signed into itunes under their apple ID? Help!!!???
