Here's what I have (to the best of my knowledge):
Original source: mini DV tape, it's all HD
I use capture now to digitize the whole tape. My easy setup is: HDV- 1080i60 FiriWire Basic. After I have digitized all of it - it's an .mov file with the settings I just posted above. So when final cut is done digitizing I already have all the files in my browser window and I just drag them and drop them in the timeline and I choose to match the timeline settings if they're different. So my timeline settings look like this:
Frame Size: 1440x1080
Vid Rate: 29.97 fps
Compressor: HDV 1080i60
When I'm done editing, I use batch export to export a bunch of sequences (they all have the same settings I just mentioned above) and I chose:
Format: QuickTime (custom), Compression Type H.264, frame rate: 29.97 fps, key frames: every 24frames, compressor quality- high, encoding: best quality. Then for size I choose either 1280x720 HD or I use "custom" to make them half the size of that so that would be 640x360. My point is to end up with an .mov file which I can then encode into an flv or just burn it on a data cd.
As for your question number 1: I'm not even sure what you mean by that.

You might try talking to the Apple store manager and see if you don't get more help...you might also contact Apple.com/support and see if they can give you a contact with the Apple Italy offices.
Sounds like you have two levels of failure, the first shop that did the repair and broke a wire, and the second that has disabled something else and isn't helping.
Apple officially refurbished equipment is usually good quality. Surprising this has happened but you need to press on with complaints and try for resolution.

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.

I kept it under the sun to let it dry and tried to start it but it wouldn't.I kept it for charging and it started normally.after around 1 month when it got fully discharged i again kept it for chargin but it showed white screen.Although i could hear the sound of clickwheel and songs too but the screen remained white..Some suggested to replace the screen. It's likely that the moisture fried some of the internal components of the device. You'll need to take or send your iPod in for service/repair. Apple will do an out of warranty exchange versus actually repairing the device as a third party service would do.

When making or receiving calls on my iPhone 4, I can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me. This happens most of the time, but occaisionally, it works! Sometimes it starts during the call...Can you help me?

Problem:
Videos, memos and other sound microphone using applications work without any problem. It just appears when calling or being called. Sometimes it starts during the call.
Situation:
I sent my damaged IPhone 4 to apple for reparation. I bought it for 180 € + 20 € for my retailer.
Some calls later this problem started (only at the new or repaired IPhone). My 3 month warranty is almost over (4 weeks left)
Steps to solve the problem:
- rebootet the IPhone several times
- made a backup (iCloud and ITunes) and recovered it again
- I set back all settings to standard.
--> Nothing changed
Then I went to my retailer, who sent it to Apple, but I just received a sheet of paper where they said, they did nothing.
Surprisingly the problem still exists. Started at the second call I received. Now the warranty time is going to run out in 4 weeks.
Open Questions:
What else can I do? I have a not working IPhone and nobody want's to help me ?!? I feel lost and disappointed. Do they want to cheat me, so my warranty runs out? Thanks for any help

Known can hear me call dibs in and out i can hear them clearly though

i phone 5 having trouble people hearing me. muffled and dips in and out of my conversation. I can hear them very clearly.

I double click on the iTunes icon on my desktop. Nothing opens. I've tried reinstalling it several times no luck. Suggetions.

Try following steps one at a time:
1. Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"
2. If that does not work, check to see if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.
3. If that fails or you don't see ApsDaemon.exe in the Processes, refer to following article to remove SC files:

4. If that fails, repair or reinstall your Quicktime. START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR.

I have the I pad 3. I have noticed that when in the voice over mode that I cannot Hear any clicks or boundary sounds. The VoiceOver works. Is there a setting that I can change to put these sounds back?

Caller sounds like they are in a tunnel when receiving or making a call. When using earphones I can hear great.

When placing or receiving a call with new iphone 5 using the earpiece on the phone, the person on the other end sounds very low, like in a tunnel. Volume is as high as it will go. Earbuds work great but I can't always use them, I need to be able to do a NORMAL call without earbuds.

Update - made an appointment at Genius bar today (chadstone, Victoria, Australia).
Genius examined phone, replicated the issue and identified a malfunctioning main microphone. He noted that the reason I could still talk to the other party when I activated the 'speakerphone' function is that the speakerphone has a (second) noise cancelling microphone/speaker at the top of the handset. He replaced the phone under warranty, and offered to help me to set up the new phone. In and out in less than 15 minutes, with new phone operational.
Very knowledgable, very polite and just great service.. Thank you Apple team at Chadstone.

The music on my nano is not playing properly, I can hear the song but it is slow and not the way it is meant to sound.

I have used the online help and reset my ipod but that still doesn't work and it was working fine this morning and is fully charged.

Did you try a complete restore of the device in iTunes? Perhaps tried a different set of headphones before doing that? Does this only happen with particular songs or all of them?
