Songs I have purchased and that I am authorized to listen to wont play. What the heck? Its ******* me off!

Why wont some of the songs I have purchased play? Its like a rip off. Most will but some wont. It is ******* me off. I have already paid for them of course.

The exclamation mark means that iTunes is unable to find the track on your HD. If you click on it a dialogue box should appear inviting you to locate the file manually. You should only have to do that once.
In my experience this usually happens if the downloaded file is moved to another location on the HD, if the name is changed or if the file has been deleted.
I have always moved my iTunes files to other locations on the desktop and de-selected the"Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library". That option is found under the Advanced tab of the Preferences.
I move the folders into  iTunes from the the new locations on the desktop.
It doesn't have to be done that way of course, it's just the way I like to do it.
