For all those materials in that perticular plant you want to create source lists to be generated will be given as input materials and based upon the Genarate all records for material/plant ,excluding outline aggrements Or outline aggrements onlyradio button you selected system reads the documents as per the radio buttion and finds the vendor and for that vendor as per the valid from and valid to dates system creates source lists.

  • Source List v/s Info record

    Hi ,
I have created a source list for a vendor , Material , plant and Purchase org combination.(This is NON FIXED source)
When I try to assign this source automatically (thry ME56) to a purchase req...... System is not showing me that source.
But If the corresponding info record is also created , system assigns it automatically.
Does it mean that in order to make a source list valid (so that sources can be appeared and assigned to PR) , it is mandatory to create corresponding info records.

    Hi,
The below are required(Must) for Auto PO Creation:
    1. Auto Po tick in Material master
    2. Auto Po tick in Vendor master
    3. Info record
    4. Source List.
If it is Fixed vendor , even ME58 step is not required...you can directly used ME59N...
If it is not a fixed vendor for that material,,,in ME58 you can choose(assign) any vendor and process the PO creation.

  • Item text in Purchase Order getting updated with info. record Purchase Order Text

    Hello All,
I am working in a roll out project and facing issue in text repeating twice for the line item in the Purchase Order for the new company code for which rollout is happening
    Issue:
Item text in Purchase Order getting updated with info. record Purchase Order Text
    01) PO Text is maintained in the material master under "Purchase Order Text" tab
    02) The PO text that is maintained in material master is getting updated in the Purchase Info. Record
    03) When Purchase Order is created, the "Item Text" gets updated in the Purchase Order automatically only for the new company code for which rollout is happening. when printed, this results in the text getting duplicated twice
03.1) this behavior is not observed in the Plants/ Company code that is already Live
    Configurations in the system:
The copying rules for the "Texts for Purchase Orders" is
Source Object = "Info Record", Source Text="Purchase Order Text", Fix="*"
We have modified the Purchase Order form to print one of  the condition types maintained for calculating the tax. Other than this there is no change to the plants that are already live.
I could not locate any "Purchase Organization" / "Company Code" / "Plant specific configuration.
Am I missing any configuration or where can I look in what is causing this error.
Request help from the experts in the forum.
    with Regards,
    Dhandapani R

There is no company/purchasing/plant specific customizing for purchase order text.
The customizing copying rules for the "Texts for Purchase Orders" affects all equally .
If the text in the purchase order in ME23N is already filled different to other plants, then you either have a modification in place, or the texts are differently maintained in the referenced data (vendor, material, info record, contract)

  • Automatic purchase info record

how do you create automatic purchase info record, what are the steps to do it, and how that helps in p2p process?

    Hi,
While creating external purchasing documents ( like PO) in item details materials tab infoUpdate check box is there
    Info record update
Determines whether the prices and conditions of this purchase order item are suggested in future PO items.
    Use
Selecting InfoUpdate causes one of the following situations to occur:
If just one info record (with or without plant) exists, it is updated.
If no info record exists and "plant condition requirement" was specified in Customizing, an info record with plant is created. Otherwise, an info record without plant is created.
If two info records exist (that is, one info record with plant and one without plant) the info record with plant is updated.
    Dependencies
You can specify that prices and conditions in purchasing info records are only allowed at plant level in the Purchasing IMG, under Conditions -> Define Condition Control at Plant Level.
Other Purchasing documents  Scheduling agreement, Quotations (me47) Choose the required line item and click on the "item detail" icon and put the necessary value for info update
    Indicator: Update Info Record
    Determines whether:
The purchasing info record for this vendor and material is to refer to this PO item, and
The item is to be valid for the entire purchasing organization or just for the plant.
    Use
The indicator determines which prices and conditions are suggested in future PO items.
Prices and conditions can apply to an entire purchasing organization or to a single plant within a purchasing organization.
For example, if you create a purchase order for a plant for which an info record has been defined at plant level, the purchase order is based on the conditions in the plant info record and not on the conditions that apply to the purchasing organization.
    Procedure
    Enter the relevant plant key:
    A
Updating of the document number is effected at plant level as long as there is a purchasing info record at plant level. Otherwise the document number is updated at purchasing organization level.
    B
Updating is effected at plant level if plant conditions are allowed for the plant.
    C
Updating is effected without plant data if plant conditions are not necessary for the plant.
    Dependencies
The level at which updating of the document number may be effected is defined for each plant.
    Hope it clears.

  • How to run webi report automatically with the current date/system date in webi report

    Hi Friends,
I have a webi report which has a date prompt now. Based on the selection that user makes while running a report, he will get the related data for that particular date selection. Now I want to make that date prompt automated that is the report should run automatically based on the system date daily on scheduling.
I want it to run current day automatically without have to go in and pick the date in webi report. I will be scheduling the webi report. Can you please let me know how to achieve this functionality of running a webi report automatically with a system date.
Please let me know if I couldn't make you understand so that I will write with an example.
    Waiting for your valuable solutions.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Hello Bhasakar,
1.Create sysdate object in the universe
2.Create another query in webi and select only sysdate object
3.In the original query drag the Day object in the filter pane and choose the "List of values" from another query.and select the sysdate object from the second query.
So your report always will run for sysdate...

  • Distinguish b/w Automatically created Info Record and created thru ME11

    Hi,
How can we distinguish between Automatically created Info Record and manually created Info Record (By User through ME11 transaction).
Where we can see the difference???
    Plz guide...

    Hi,
In case of Automatically created Info record, Net price and Effective price fields will be blank where as in case of manual info record, you maintain the price under "conditions" manually and which gets updated in net price and effective price fields.
Also Run Reports ME1M and ME1L, Info records with "Condition       No Price Found" are automaically created. And manual info records will have have "Condition XXX Amount"

  • Backend Info Record data transfered to Shopping Cart

We are using extended classic scenario, SRM 4.0 SRM Server 5.0.
In our backend R/3 system we have standard info records created with material #, vendor, price UOM etc.  I would like to show the vendor, price, uom (from the backend info record)in the Source of Supply section of a shopping cart after entering the material # (product # in SRM language).  Also transfer the price and vendor to the shopping cart if desired.  Has anyone found a BADI or some other method to do this???
We do not use valuated materials so EPP_Get_Backend prices does not work for us.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Try to implement the BADI "BBP_SOS_BADI" in SRM to assign the inforecord to SOS.Use the FM "META_INFORECORD_GETLIST" to get the inforecord from R/3.
Please find the necassary documenation of the BADI - BBP_SOS_BADI for your reference.
    >>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<----
    HY SIMGBBP_SOS_BADI
    Short Text
Find and Check Sources of Supply
    Use
With the Business Add-In BBP_SOS_BADI, you can search for and check sources of supply according to your own rules. These sources of supply include contracts, vendor list entries and product linkages. For this, the customer fields of the shopping cart or purchase order are transferred to the BAdI.
    Standard settings
The BAdI provides the following methods:
    1. BBP_SOS_INDEX_UPDATE_CHECK
Use: Check and update contract items in the source of supply table.
    2. BBP_SOS_SEARCH
Use: Search for sources of supply according to your own rules.
    3. BBP_SOS_CHECK
Use: Check and filter the sources of supply found by the standard search according to your own rules.
    4. BBP_SOS_PD_CHECK
Use: Carrying out your own additional checks when creating a shopping cart document item with an assigned contract.
    Activities
Implement the BAdI if you wish to determine or check sources of supply according to your own rules.
    >>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<----
Check Update of Items into Sourcing Table
    Functionality
With method BBP_SOS_INDEX_UPDATE_CHECK, you can check whether a contract item in the sourcing table BBPD_PD_INDEX is to be updated or not.

    Parameters
    Importing
    IS_CONTRACT_ITEM
Structure contains all fields of the contract item
    Exporting

Call time: Before the standard search and before pricing
    Parameters
    Importing
    IV_TOLERANT_SEARCH
In the Sourcing application, users can repeat the search for sources of supply, omitting secondary criteria, if the first search with all the criteria did not return any results. If IV_TOLERANT_SEARCH = X, the BAdI ignores the secondary criteria in the search.
    IS_SEARCH_CRITERIA
    Search criteria including customer fields
    Exporting
    ET_FOUND_CONTRACT
Table with the determined contract items
    ET_FOUND_VENDORLIST

    Notes
If the appropriate standard search is not to be carried out after the method has run, the relevant parameter must remain emtpy.
    >>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<----
Check and Filter Results of Standard Search
    Functionality
With method BBP_SOS_CHECK, you can use your own rules to check and filter the sources of supply that have been found by the standard search.

These parameters define if contracts, vendor lists and product linkages
are to be sought. They are set by the searching application (shopping cart; purchase order).
    IS_SEARCH_CRITERIA
Search criteria including the user-defined fields

    >>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<----
Check Contracts in Purchasing Document Items
    Functionality
When you create a purchasing document item with assigned contract, the system always checks the following data:
    Matching of the product
    Matching of the product category
    Matching of the quantity unit
With method BBP_SOS_PD_CHECK, you can carry out additional user-defined checks. The system returns error or warning messages to the application via the function module BBP_PD_MSG_ADD.
Call time: When you create a shopping cart or purchase order item
    Parameters
    Importing
    IS_CONTRACT_ITEM
    Contract item data
    IS_PD_ITEM
Purchasing document item data (shopping cart, purchase order)
    Changing
    CV_NO_FURTHER_CHECKS
If this parameter is empty, the system checks (in the standard)
the catalog data in the item
    the vendor product number
If these checks are not to be carried out, the parameter must contain an X. This value is set as default.

  • Source inspection without Q-info record?

Can we do source inspection without using quality info record?
If yes then what master data we need to set-up?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Mass creation of quality info records is possible through QI06.
    Pre requistes are
    1) In material master activate qm procurement key and enter control key with delivery /vendor release.
Use Transection Code OQBA and create your screen varients with required User status.
    Go to QI06,
Enter material, vendor , plant. In add tab enter release until date and other required fields
When adding records, you can enter one or several materials. As a rule, the only materials used for processing are those for which QM in Procurement is active in the material master and a vendor release or quality assurance agreement is required by the control key.
You can enter one or more vendors, for whom a quality information record is to be created.
If the indicator u201COnly for Purchasing Info Recordsu201D is set, the system only creates those quality info records, for which a purchasing information record has been maintained.
By doing this you can create quality information records for all possible material-vendor combinations.
If you execute this then You will get the list of all possible vendor material combination for which QI can be maintained by selecting line you can save them.
The quality info records printed in the list have a traffic light indicator which denotes the following:
Green light: - All data is correct
Yellow light: - Ordered quantity is greater than released quantity
    - There is no quality assurance agreement
    - Lock function is active
    - Validity period of QM system has expired
Red light: - Deletion flag is set

  • Scheduling agreement update with Info record

    Hi,
My company is working with scheduling agreement both with external vendors and Inter company purchasing. SA is created for a long term (in years) but the price negotiation takes place for a shot duration (One year or less). The requirement is that whenever the Purchase Info record is updated (by department X), it should automatically update the relevant SA (created/updated by department Y). Any delivery schedule created after new effective PIR price, should have the new price and if there is no price in PIR for that date it should throw an error...
    Thanks is advance
    Manu

    Hi..
Can anyone tell me the user exit that I can use to update price in related scheduling agreements when any purchase info record is changed...
and another to check purchase info record at the time of delivery schedule creation to see if any valid purchase info record exists ..

  • How to take list backup with lookup columns data in sharepoint 2010

    Hi friends,
I have one issue on "Copy the list in one sitecollection to another sitecollection"
I have one list like "ABC" and with lookup column "Status" this column is looked to anthor list columns
My task is i want to Copy the same list with lookup columns with Data(lookup columns Data) in one site and restored in another site.
Error  is Lookup columns Data is not coming.
How to Copied list with lookup columns data to restored in another list?
    Badri

i think there is no such method to move the list with lookup column.
couple of things which cause the failure, Number Source list may be not available on the target site collection, Column IDs / List IDs different from Site collection a to B.
I would try to use the backup of site collection and restore it, i am not sure whether it will work not.
i think copy the data from the lookup clomn in the excel, then move the list to different site collection with blank data then copy the data from excel to new list.
check this one for another idea:

  • Invoice List Consolidation with different billing date

    Hi!
Want to consolidation different billing date billings into 1 invoice list!
    but system will split it,
    How can I do??
    Thanks

    Hi,
Please check note 317935 Invoice Split Criteria for Invoice Lists
Different Billing Dates for the invoice list from the original invoices will automatically cause invoices to split into multiple invoice lists. This is standard functionality.  The primary way to avoid this is to enter a date as a default billing date in transaction VF21 or to modify the report from transaction VF24.
If you do not enter a default billing date and the dates from the individual invoices differ, than the invoice lists will be split into as
many invoice lists as there are different dates.

  • Purchasing Info Records data upload

Hi, I am uploading purchasing info records using LSMW and the batch input object 0060. But I do not find ESOKZ in the structures to map the Purchasing Info Records Category.
Also, I have LIFNR in my source structure and also I see it in BEIN0. But the auto field mapping is not working for this field.
    Can you please advise?
    Thank you very much

    Hi
    1) Ideally, you shd create different LSMW project for each info record category. You can see a separate field for each category in BEIN0
    2) Not a big issue. Is it not ?

  • Copy photos with info  and data to a cd

I have Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 and put in all the photos I had in my files. Then marked every single photo with information and data (a hell of work) and decided to make a backup copy on cd.
To my astonishment on the cd all the photos turned out to be completely unorganized and all the text I put below them were nowhere to be found!!!
Did I do something wrong, or is it not possible to get an organized cd with information using this edition of Photoshop?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    >I am trying tommove a block of pictures from my d drive over to photo shop
    >3.0 and want to move more than one photo at a time.
I'm not sure what you mean by moving pictures from D: drive to PS 3... PSA
SE 3.2 is just a cataloging application. It doesn't actually store anything,
it just tells you where things are, or helps you to work with them.
    >Or I can load them into photo shop from a CD.
It sounds like you just want to make sure the PSA SE knows that they are
    there....
Essentially, you can just Click on the "Get Photos" button and choose the
source. Keep in mind that this will NOT physically move images and doesn't
have that ability like Photoshop Elements 5.0.
As to the DVD... it can track it depending on the video type. When you say
"Get Photos"... look to see if has detected it. If you see that it has and
offers to catalogue it for you, then you know that you're okay.
    Cheers
